Welcome to Spain Park High School! On behalf of the administrative team and the faculty and staff of Spain Park High School, I would like to welcome you to Robert O. Finley III Field at Jaguar Stadium. Tonight’s game, a showcase of countless hours of preparation, practice, and hard work, would not be possible without the support of our Board of Education, Superintendent Dr Kevin Maddox, and the Spain Park Community.
Parents, families, friends, and fans, thank you for your support! I am grateful for the members of the Gridiron Club and our game day sponsors, advertisers, and donors whose generous contributions help to provide an amazing Friday night experience Additionally, I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our coaches, band directors, and auxiliary sponsors for pouring into our students to help them grow, learn, and excel both on and off of the field.
Our field is named for legendary Hoover City Schools’ teacher and coach Bob Finley Coach Finley is remembered for his competitive spirit and most importantly for his outstanding character. He was a role model for thousands of students and student-athletes. The Spain Park administration and faculty and staff continue to emphasize character development and good sportsmanship in all of our endeavors We hope and encourage our fans to join us in maintaining this expectation throughout the year and at all of our events.

LETTER FROM THE COACH
SPAIN PARK FOOTBALL
Jag Nation,
Let me first say how much of an honor it is for our coaching staff to help represent this amazing community each Friday night in the fall We have some really good kids in our program because of the families who have raised them, not because of us coaches...
As we enter our 3rd year together, we are looking forward to moving the program to another level. Last year's team "moved the needle" and improved our win total of three from year #1 to seven in 2023 So much credit goes to the class of 2024 and how much making huge strides meant to them. Those guys will always be remembered for not only remaining at Spain Park through some tough times, but also the group who helped prove that they belonged with the best teams in the state of Alabama
This year's group has the chance to be a special one, for sure We have talked all offseason about how we need to focus more on playing FOR each other, working hard FOR each other, being good teammates FOR each other, instead of simply WITH each other They have really taken to that theme and are forming a close bond that will stand the test of time.
Each Friday night, we hope you are proud of what you see representing our school, families, and community. As I said when we first got going in January of 2022....we WILL compete for championships here doing it the right way!!
As I tell our families quite often thanks for giving us your sons to be a part of their 4 years in high school. It is something we will never take for granted and will always treat them as our own...
God bless, and GO JAGS!!!
