With the popularity of the BIG 3 basketball league that just started for retired pro’s we are going to have a Saturday afternoon 3 on 3 league using the same rules in this new league. The rules will include 4 point shots beyond the regular 3 point line & exciting free throws worth more depending on where the foul occurs. This league will run Sept. 9th - Oct. 14th. So get a team of 5 together & check out the age groups offered. 5th/6th grade boys, 5th/6th grade girls, 7th/ 8th grade boys, 7th/8th grade girls, High School boys, High School girls, Men 18-25 & Men 26 & older. Fee: $200 per team (must provide your own jerseys) Minimum of 4 teams in each division for it to run

Lillie J. Rado, 13, of Garden Prairie, IL passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. She was born December 21, 2003 in Elgin, IL. Lillie was a wonderful sissie, daughter, granddaughter, and friend. She is loved and will be missed tremendously by her parents, Craig & Jenni (Heine) Rado, and brother, Carter Rado. There will be a visitation Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Belvidere Funeral Home Inc. in Belvidere, IL. There will be a second visitation Friday, August 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Belvidere, IL. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Carter Rado Scholarship Fund. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.belviderefh.com.
