LET’S TALK ABOUT IT The COVID-19 vaccine CANNOT make you sick with COVID-19. None of the COVID-19 vaccines contain the live virus that cause the disease. This means that a COVID-19 vaccine CANNOT make you sick with COVID19. Researchers have been working on this vaccine strategy for more than a decade. While this is the first time messenger RNA (mRNA) is being widely used in a vaccine for the public, the vaccine strategy used for the COVID-19 vaccines has been worked on by researchers for decades. You can get COVID-19 again. Re-infection with COVID-19 is possible, and the vaccine is recommended regardless of whether you already had COVID-19. The COVID-19 vaccine CANNOT change or interact with your DNA. The messenger RNA (mRNA), from the COVID-19 vaccine never enters the nucleus of the cell, which is where our DNA is kept. The mRNA from the vaccine cannot change or alter our DNA in any way. Can I “Mix & Match” using a different injection provider for my 2nd shot? No, use the same provider for both your first and second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. What if I can’t get my 2nd injection on the recommended date? Though there is a minimum number of days you have to wait to receive your second dose, there is NO MAXIMUM number of days you need to receive the second dose. The vaccine simply becomes more effective after both doses have been received.

There is the 5% Utility Tax, his new City Gasoline Tax, his increased City Sales Tax & now his new proposed Rainwater Runoff Tax. Boone County Shopper Letters to the Editor Who is Clint Morris and why should you vote for him as mayor of Belvidere? I can only tell you about the things he’s done as our alderman. I know that due to his vigilance, a drug house was brought to the attention of local law enforcement and consequently closed down. I know that he listened and acted when I contacted him about constant fireworks being fired off on local streets near homes. I know if there is a complaint he listens, acts, and follows through until there is a resolution. In one such instance, appearing in court and testifying, losing a day’s work.
