I’m a mother of two and a proud grandmother who cherishes my family and friends deeply. I’m an actor, model, and hairstylist who loves to make people laugh because life can be hard. My playful and silly side often shines through, especially with those closest to me. Life has presented its challenges, but what was meant to kill me only unleashed the beast within me— I didn’t just survive; I thrived. I have a lot to say and am intrigued by intelligent conversations that stimulate the mind and soul. Multifaceted, biracial, and beautifully unique, I’m determined to go as far as my talents and life will take me. Born in Texas,raised in New Orleans, I dedicated my life to improving the environment around me.
Born with congenital hydrocephalus, I had a rough start.Just 4 months into my journey, I was on the operating table. Although my physical development would be slowed down,my parents worked hard to make up the difference by giving me all the attention I needed.As a result, I was walking by 18 months, reading by 3 years, and being identified as a gifted student by the age of 7. I was very active in my church and community . I was a reading tutor, young entrepreneur, theology student, violinist,and this was just the beginning. I was active in the Total Community Action youth store. I helped to build the store for young people to learn business and working skills.
After high school, I Attended Macalester College, and really started accelerate my immersion into community service. It was the pillar of community service that Macalester promoted that sparked my desire to attend there, and it turned out to be the best decision in my life.
I met so many of the people who shaped my journey, Kofi Annan ,Walter And Joan Mondale, Jim Leher, Bill Clinton, Paul Wellstone, Lindy Boggs, Andy Dawkins, Mahmoud ElKati, Howard Pinn, Ishmael Reed and many others.

Hey y’all, my name is Mariah, I used to live the small town country life! But not more than two years ago I made the big move to Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’ve always dreamed of being a model, but I had no idea where to start, but I knew If didn’t start now I’d never do it. One day an old friend (Leanna Brecount) reached out to me with a modeling opportunity after I had moved and I jumped on it. 100% no questions asked just kidding!

Anyway, 2025 isn’t waiting for nothing, and I feel the same way. It’s time to get it!! I ain’t worried about politics or who is in office. If I did, I would be a nervous wreck right now, like most Americans. But I cannot be THAT person. Trust in God first and foremost, and you’ll be okay. Periodt!
