This is a story in 50 sonnets, based on the play, The Taming of the Shrew, by William Shakespeare. The two cats, also called Katerina and Bianca have more basic instincts. KatherinaCat is a Scarlet woman and murderess, and her sister Bianco-Cat, docile but seductive and disruptive. The attitudes of Katerina (human) and Bianca (human) reverberate with the attitudes and actions of the two female cats, their namesakes. In the end Katerina Cat and Bianca Cat learn to fit into the domesticity of Petrucio and Katerina.
