Building Fjords in the Great Deserts
combining Forgotten Lands and Forgotten people to Defeat Ancient climate change
by James Michael Matthew
About the Book
Following the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference, it became popular to label the fossil fuels industry as “the elephant in the room.”
However, James Michael Matthew argues that this is merely a distraction from the real issue at hand. The real elephant in the room — the one that no one wants to acknowledge let alone talk about — is that net zero carbon and sustainability will never work to defeat climate change. Matthew explains that net-zero carbon and sustainability initiatives, even if achievable, will not address the pressing challenges of rising ocean coastlines, biodiversity loss, desertification, and ongoing climate change. Hence, he presents a bold and unconventional solution: building fjords in the great deserts.
About the Author
James Michael Matthew is an award-winning author, financial executive, and industrialist with over 40 years of experience. He is the founder and chairman of JM Prophecies Corporation. He graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a master’s in biotechnology enterprise and entrepreneurship, an MBA from Michigan State University, and a bachelor’s in accounting and auditing from the University of Illinois-Springfield. Matthew has completed postgraduate studies at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, the University of Oxford.

Life was slower paced, but never dull as mischievous 10-year-old Josephine gets talked into a logrolling contest on Hood River by her brothers. She is introduced to Native Americans and comes face to face with a mountain lion. She is even in on planning the “great escape” to a forbidden barn dance with all her siblings. Papa, a Civil War veteran, would never approve, but he didn’t need to know!

Through the Eyes of a child
by Fred Robertshaw
About the Book
This work unwraps the mystery of life, and the palpable presence of the author of life: God. The story begins with a look into the lives of eight mystics — Saint Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, Francis of Assisi, Ignatius Loyola, Teresa of Avila, Mother Teresa, Thomas Merton, and Yves Congar — showing how the Holy Spirit informed and inspired their journeys. The book then transitions to contemporary experiences, using stories from Robertshaw and others to illustrate how the work of Jesus and the Holy Spirit is not done. It is a gentle reminder that God’s presence is not reserved for the few, but accessible to all who seek him.

About the Author
Fred Robertshaw is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in finance and ministry. He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a degree in economics. He served in the United States Army before embarking on a 49-year career in the financial services industry, the last 12 years of which was in his own company. Robertshaw was one of the founding board members of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Greater Cincinnati, and has conducted and promoted male spiritual growth for 35 years

A personal Story-Song Book
by Mark gorkin, “The Stress Doc” ™
About the Book
This interactive story-song book captures the game of Hide-and-Seek as played by a feisty and fun little fireball. Charlotte bravely goes from familiar inside hiding places to “climbing trees” and “riding a breeze.” Her escapade will inspire authenticity, self-assurance, a sense of adventure, and ultimately, loving connection.

“Please, cut yourself free from the tithing yoke of slavery and become a free vessel of the Holy Spirit.”
Moore provides a broader understanding among Christians regarding the falsehoods that have arisen concerning the necessity for congregants to regularly pledge a tenth of their earnings to the church. His contention centers on a portion of the Old Testament Book of Malachi, which declares that the faithful must tithe or consider themselves “robbers of God.” Moore counters that tithing actually deprives participants of the God-endowed capacity to follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit.
