Private banking – our core business Closeness is one of our core values. Momentum from two banking traditions The Bonhôte family began managing the Bank in the 19th century, establishing a business culture in which mutual bonds of trust predominate with each client.

In 1992, Jean Berthoud, whose own banking heritage dates back to 1785, restored Bonhôte’s privatebanking dimension after he and a group of partners acquired all the share capital. He took the helm as CEO of the Bank, becoming Chairman of the Board in 2014 when Yves de Montmollin was appointed CEO. The executive team consists of Yves de Montmollin, Jean-Paul Jeckelmann, Olivier Vollenweider and Robin Richard.

Locations Neuchâtel, our head office. An intricate relationship has gradually built up between Banque Bonhôte and its home city of Neuchâtel. The ties that bind us derive from our in-depth knowledge of the economic, legal and tax environment of regional investors and our ability to meet their specific needs.

Bonhôte Fund Solutions is a state-of-the-art service dedicated to identifying and sharing top fund-investment opportunities. It creates true value in the form of an investment community that pools the fund-selection expertise of the Bank and several of its institutional partners. Bonhôte Fund Solutions is driven by a philosophy that champions boutique funds over large institutions and favours active over passive management. The products selected by Bonhôte Fund Solutions are offered exclusively to our clients. A selection is available to institutional investors in Switzerland.

Bienne, since 2002. Our presence in Bienne reaffirms our commitment to regional development and to maintaining personal client contacts at the heart of our approach.

Bonhôte-Immobilier Bonhôte-Immobilier is an investment fund under Swiss law investing in high-grade real property.

Assets currently amount to over CHF 920 million. The fund aims to build up a stable portfolio paying aboveaverage returns. Because Bonhôte-Immobilier invests directly in property, unit holders are exempted from income and wealth tax in regard to the fund.
