Island Tour Sunset happy hour Bonaire cultural experience takes you to the North side of the Island with a drive through 1000 steps.

Afterwards we drives towards the Flamingo sanctuary ‘Goto Lake’ .

After ‘Goto Lake’ we will drive through Rincon which is one of the oldest settlement in the Netherlands Antilles with a stop at ‘Mangazina di Rei’ museum. Next we will drive to the south side of the island passing trough the capital to see the slave huts and the salt flats.

Caribbean Tinder Tales 3 ‘’Ghosts from the past’’

Let’s start with an assignment. Walk to your closet and open it. Take a good look at your wardrobe. Look for those clothes you secretly know you’re never going to wear but you keep them because you might just lose some weight or the occasion just might present itself when you need something like it. Well, old Tinder matches who hit you up, or who you hit up, after a few months of not speaking are those clothes! You keep them in your list just as a plan Z, right? But how do you react if they message you after a long time? Insert Robocop again.. uuggh here we go! Remember the guy who did not kiss me?

Well, the “to-be-continued” continues and man what a drag this one is! So remember after the first date that went well but somehow he didn’t kiss me? It gets worse! We stayed in contact and chatting here and there, followed each other on social media and occasionally liked each other’s pictures. Not only didn’t I get kissed...I also never went on a second date by the way. Apparently, he had just seemed like a nice guy but really was so full of himself. After 3 weeks of just “online flirting” meaning liking and loving pics on Facebook and Instagram, he hits me up again and actually started a conversation. After the usual “how have you been?” I asked him: “so…what about that second date, handsome man?”

After reading his reply, I thought back to when we met the first time…he was drunk. The first actual date…he kept bragging about his job. On social media he could never keep a conversation going and often seemed distant. Hmmm, my brain was working overtime trying to decipher what this guy was all about. After 1 minute of overthinking it I slapped myself in the face and realized shamelessly that I was being dumb as per usual when it comes to men. I should have seen the signs, I should have known…he is a total asshole! It made sense!

Oh, what was his reply? It was: “You know…I’m really busy working up a following on Instagram so I don’t really have that much time to date but it was nice meeting you! You’re really cute!”. Really dude?!
