Gala Celebrates Outstanding BOMA Buildings and Members East Bay CRE Growth to Remain Strong in 2018

This year BOMA San Francisco played host, welcoming gala guests to the opulent California Spanish Revival-style Marines’ Memorial Club. The rivalry was spirited. “A record number of building teams from both sides of the Bay entered the competition,” said Cortney Shadel, Cushman & Wakefield, who chairs the Awards Committee, a joint committee of BOMA OEB and BOMA SF that oversees entries and judging. BOMA OEB President Warren Mead and BOMA SF President Marc Gille co-emceed the event, announcing the sought-after awards to an enthusiastic crowd. Hines’ Pleasanton Corporate Commons team took home the BOMA OEB TOBY Award in the largest category (500,000-1 million square feet). Another East Bay winner was the Cushman & Wakefield team at KBSIII Towers at Emeryville (250,000499,999 square feet category). Teams in San Francisco scooped up honors for BOMA SF buildings in the following categories: w 330 Townsend, managed by CIM Group, under 100,000 square feet w 88 Kearny, managed by CBRE, 100,000-249,999 square feet (Continued on page 8)
