B.I.G. Things Happen at Bolles B.I.G., Bulldogs Inspiring Goodness, is community service that begins in the Lower School and continues throughout the Bolles experience. Though community service is not required, there is a good chance you will find yourself involved in a service project or fundraising effort led by students and supported by faculty.

COVID-19 pandemic. ›› Bolles’ Nanny’s Nation Club raised more than $14,000 to help

find a cure for ALS. ›› Students removed graffiti and made other improvements to an

Hospital Holiday Toy Drive. ›› Bolles’ Surfrider Club participated in several beach clean-ups. ›› The Teen Changemakers donated toiletries to a shelter for

Bolles Lower School Play, Learn and Grow at the Whitehurst Campus Students in grades PreK through 5 thrive on the Whitehurst Campus, located on a high bluff overlooking the St. Johns River. This village-like campus is shaded by mature oak trees and offers indoor and outdoor spaces for learning and play. Healthy, fresh meals are prepared daily by professional chefs.

A Strong Foundation Students here get an early start on learning another language and begin to build engineering skills at the World Languages and Innovation Lab. In the Copeland Library, young learners discover resources and research while developing a passion for books. Lily’s Lab offers in-depth science exploration with eggs, chicks, butterflies and more. Every student is provided their own Microsoft Surface, and the varied curriculum also includes robotics, music, art, drama and dance.

The Power of Play There is time each day for outdoor play on modern playground equipment to build strength, confidence and motor skills. For more physical activity, students swim at the nearby Cassidy Aquatic Complex.

The Treehouse The Whitehurst Campus is home to a fun, unique space for outdoor learning—a treehouse! The Arnold Family Outdoor Learning Center is a 488-square-foot treehouse right on the St. Johns River. It can hold an entire class for students to enjoy a book, learn about a special topic or hear a guest speaker.

Bolles Lower School Plant Seeds of Success on the Ponte Vedra Beach Campus The lush Ponte Vedra Beach Campus is just minutes from the ocean. It features modern facilities and extraordinary instruction for students in grades PreK to 5. The high-caliber curriculum includes science, technology, arts, music and drama. Every day, students enjoy age-appropriate play and physical activity indoors and out.

Learning and Growing Students delight in reading the many books in their newly renovated library. The 12-acre campus has a large green space, vegetable gardens for each grade and hydroponic gardens. Children grow their own produce, learn about nutrition and sometimes enjoy their harvest as a chef-prepared meal at lunchtime.

Exploring Technology Every student is provided a Microsoft Surface, and students explore everything from coding to making digital presentations using the latest technology. The iLab is a place for hands-on science learning, while the multipurpose George Hall houses fine arts and performance spaces as well as a gymnasium.

A World of Possibilities Developing a global perspective begins on both Lower School campuses. Students engage in multicultural learning and make friends with classmates from diverse backgrounds, experiences and cultures. They also play the World Peace Game, a hands-on political simulation that explores how the global community is connected.

5 Common Questions About Financial Aid Understand your options At Bolles, we are committed to providing an All Things Possible education to students of diverse backgrounds, interests, talents and financial situations. We award more than $5 million in financial aid funds each year to help students experience Bolles.

Who is Eligible? The Financial Aid Committee reviews specific variables and awards. Bolles does not offer athletic or academic scholarships. Financial aid is distributed based on a family’s need. It is not a scholarship for academic merit.

How Can I Apply for Financial Aid? Get started through an easy-to-use online portal.

Do I Need to Repay this Award? No. Financial awards are grants that do not need to be repaid.

Are There Other Ways to Pay School Expenses? Yes. Many families arrange loans through personal banks or education payment programs, such as “Your Tuition Solution.”

Does Bolles Offer Payment Plans? Yes. You have the option of paying tuition in one, two or four payments as well as monthly. The latter two options require compliance with the Truth in Lending Act.
