ADDING ARTEAGA TO THE TEAM

Eddy Arteaga, a talented catcher, is the newest addition to the Boise Hawks team. As he continues to showcase his abilities on the field, Arteaga’s potential and versatility make him an exciting prospect for the Boise Hawks.

Arteaga, a left-handed batter and right-handed thrower, possesses an impressive physique standing at 6-1 and weighing 194 pounds. Born in Miami, Florida, Arteaga’s journey in baseball began at Miami Palmetto High School in Pinecrest, Florida, where he honed his skills and developed a deep passion for the game.

Continuing his baseball career, Arteaga pursued higher education at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, Kentucky. Representing the Campbellsville Tigers, he made an immediate impact on the team, demonstrating his exceptional batting abilities. In his collegiate career, Arteaga showcased consistent improvement, displaying his prowess at the plate. Throughout his three seasons, he recorded impressive numbers, including a batting average of .280, an on-base percentage of .378, and a slugging percentage of .423.

Arteaga’s versatility extends beyond his offensive capabilities. He is equally adept in the field, making him a valuable asset for any team. His experience and ability to adapt to different positions contribute to his overall value as a player.

As Arteaga transitions to the professional level, he recently joined the Boise Hawks, an independent league team. In his debut season, he has already made an impact, showcasing his skills in a limited capacity. With one game under his belt, he demonstrated his batting prowess by securing a hit in three at-bats, resulting in a solid batting average of .333.
