To our visitors, and to the more than 50 people a day who are moving into our community, we say, welcome to the Boise Valley! While we are the fastest growing city in the nation, we have not lost our small-town feel and friendly nature. Recently, Livability.com named Boise the #1 “most livable city in the USA.” This issue of our Boise Valley Spotlight Magazine focuses on incredible assets and quality of life. These quality-of-life assets are more important than ever for businesses to keep and attract talent. You’ll see why companies from across the globe appreciate our friendly business climate, and the actual climate as well. Recent events have created even greater interest in Boise as an affordable, livable, less congested, more business-friendly alternative to the large West Coast metros. We think Boise’s nexus as a business hub, and its downhome livability, make us a remarkable urban outpost in the Intermountain West. Not only will you read pages describing the incredible portfolio of amenities that the Boise Valley enjoys, it’s often the “Boise-nice” factor that strikes visitors and new residents most profoundly. My wife and I moved to Boise some 13 years ago and were instantly struck by the Boise-nice factor. We were also struck by the accessibility of key leaders. We came wondering if there would be enough to do; we found out the opposite – there is so much to do, and it is so accessible. Life here will re-energize you. The Boise Metro Chamber is located in the heart of downtown at the corner of Front and 11th. We house the Chamber, the Boise Convention and Visitors Bureau, and our regional economic development agency, the Boise Valley Economic Partnership (BVEP). As the sole five-star accredited chamber in Idaho, we are happy to welcome you to the “City of Trees.” So, thank you for being part of this very special American city. The nearly 2,000 Chamber member businesses listed in this directory are eager to meet you, welcome you, and show you what “Boise-nice” is all about!
Bill Connors, President/CEO Boise Metro Chamber

Dear Friends of the Boise Metro Chamber, I am honored to serve as the Chair of the Boise Metro Chamber. We warmly welcome you to our great community if you are new to this area. If you have been here for a while, we thank you for your good work in making our community great. It’s no secret that the Boise area is a fantastic place to live and do business. If you are a member of the Chamber, thank you! If you are not, we encourage you to explore the benefits of Chamber membership. Our area is experiencing an influx of population and rapid business growth. Leaders of companies large and small are looking at Boise as a place to grow their businesses and to ensure a better quality of life for their employees. The Boise Metro Chamber supports our community’s businesses, large and small, in many worthwhile ways. The Chamber’s leadership provides a strong voice for economic growth and business-friendly policies; it also unifies the voices of more than 1,850 members and 120,000 member employees. We are deeply invested in strengthening the Boise Region and its vibrant and diverse business community. We support business and community issues that affect your company and employees, including business-friendly regulation and legislation on economic development, tax and regulatory reform, education funding, and infrastructure investments. Chamber membership is an excellent opportunity to grow your business and help our community thrive. We are a vibrant organization of business and community leaders working to drive economic growth that allows us to recruit companies and talent. When we work together – across various industry sectors and alongside local government – we benefit from the wisdom, insight, and diversity that we collectively bring to important conversations and initiatives. This is a dynamic and robust community, blessed with bright minds and successful companies. The Chamber amplifies this by fostering collaboration between the business community, educational institutions, and workforce development organizations to meet community needs. Our leadership development programs connect, inform, and develop future business and community leaders. I especially want to encourage our emerging leaders to join the more than 1,600 fellow young professionals at a Boise Young Professionals event. Please consider applying for a coveted spot in Leadership Boise, where Boise’s next leaders come together to hone skills, build strong relationships, and ensure that Boise’s bright future is in good hands. It is my honor and privilege to serve our members and our community along with my fellow Chamber leaders. We welcome you to join us – come to an event, get to know other members, grow your business and meet new customers, clients, and friends. My door is always open, and I welcome your ideas and interest. Thank you for being a part of the wonderful fabric that makes the Boise Valley so incredible.
Warmest regards,
Emily Baker, Board Chair Boise Metro Chamber
