Red W Sunrise Mrs Young is an extremely easy fleshing and tank of a heifer. Wide hipped and muscular. True to the Angus breed she is nice headed and very maternal looking. Her beautifully uddered dam is a result of a unique purple Bank Note son we bought from our friends at Wheeler’s Stock Farm. Bank Note and Renown don’t get much better for raising females, two of the breeds most consistent producers. Add in one of the great Get-A-Long cows on the bottom side and the guess work is done. The Stark x Hard Eight mating has been a home run with a bull being our high seller this spring to Scott Stock Farm. Hard Eight left us some gorgous uddered cows and we will probably be going back into the semen tank to make some more of them. Commercial Females Unfortunately we had another dry summer in 2023 and our feed resources are limited, so we have decided to offer a group of pure bred Angus females as commercials. They are selling without papers but could be made available for an additional cost. These females are productive, problem free cows that will make great foundation stock for a progressive operation to produce superior steers or replacement heifers. They would work extremely well to produce F1 replacement heifers that demand a premium in the marketplace.

The most valuable part of the females selling could very well be the calves they are carrying inside. We have had many comments from last years purchasers that the calves inside those females have turned out very well. Several of the bull calves are being retained by their new owners as herd sires, or will be feature bulls in their bull sales. If you study the catalogue you will also find that many of the lots were raised by first calf heifers, so you know the females will be replacement quality.
