Early season drought, record low hay production and then 6 weeks of cold/damp/snow through September and up to mid October but then we got 2+ weeks of great weather. The cattle markets remain steady and the early purebred sales are once again showing that elite genetics are in high demand. Our 2018 Western Select line-up welcomes several new consignors offering some high quality females that certainly enhance the sale offering.
