countess progeny
Opportunities like this seldom come around. We wanted to do something very special to kick off the new Fall Showcase sale and here she is…. An opportunity to own one of the most exciting and productive proven donors in Canada!! Countess 7077 is probably the most powerfully made Natural Law daughter in existence. She has been turning heads since she was a calf. Her showing career was impressive having never lost a division as a calf, as a bred, and as a pair. She was Supreme Champion in 2019 at Prince Albert, she was Champion Female and Alberta Supreme Champion in 2019 at Edmonton Farm Fair, she was the Junior Beef Futurity champion in 2019 at Agribition, then topped it all off being 2019 Champion Female and the 2019 RBC Supreme Champion Female at Agribition!! Her production record has been equally as impressive with daughters selling for $53000, $40000, $34000, $23000, $20000, $15000, and $10000 so far. One flush opportunity sold for $20500. Her frozen embryos have sold from $3400-1400. But it doesn’t stop there. Her daughters have continued her show ring dominance with one winning Champion Female and Supreme Female at Lloydminster 2020 as bred hfr in the only show that was able to run in Canada that lockdown year. That female also hit the donor pen for KT Ranches with embryos selling very well for them. Another daughter was Reserve Champion Female at Agribition 2021 for Brooking, Ter Ron, and Paynes as a bred hfr. A Daughter just won the highly competitive open division of the 2023 Canadian National Junior show in Bashaw Alberta in August and was in the top 4 in the Bracket Challenge show there as well for JT Livestock and Dylan Fuller. Watch for her on the show road this fall. A full sib to that beautiful female sells in this sale and you won’t want to miss her. We have 2 daughters in production that have now hit the donor pen here for us and our partners and we retained a real nice son for use here as well. Look for his service on several of the breds in the sale. She has mated well with any bull we have tried her with. She really stamps her progeny with her look. There will be several good daughters selling in this sale. No guesswork here boys! Grab on and start writing your own 7077 production story! Selling possession and 75% embryo interest. We are retaining a 25% embryo interest. Donor is currently open and ready to flush. Currently at BoviGen (Peak Veterinary) in Moose Jaw.

This is a very exciting opportunity to flush this impressive daughter of the great maternal master Density and Brooking Countess 7077. Dusty’s Countess 81H was the lead off high selling bred female in our very first female sale. 81H is a full sib flush mate to the $34000 Dusty’s Countess 22H that was Reserve Champion Female at Agribition 2021 for Brooking, Ter Ron, and Greenwood. 81H entered our donor program shortly after calving that year and we are looking forward to seeing the results from that this spring. 81H has that signature Countess head, front end, and big middle with the strong maternal productive look that the Density females have always been known for. Flush will be done after she calves this spring and can be done at the buyers choice of donor facilities in Western Canada. Terms of the flush will be half down now and remainder at the successful completion of the flush. Buyer responsible for all flush costs.

We start off this years bred heifer section with this beautifully constructed and balanced daughter of the great Countess 7077 donor. She resembles her amazing dam in so many ways at this age. Beautiful profile with length, style, and that patented 7077 front end and strong head. 2034 was part of a highly productive and consistent flush that put a top female into last years sale as well as a top herdsire prospect into our herd that we retained for use here, Dusty’s Renovation 2036. You will see his service on a few of the other breds in the sale. Sired by the great female maker Renovation, this is a female that we truly believe has a bright future and certainly could find her way into a donor program down the road. Her mating to the $85,000 Ellingson Badlands is the icing on the cake. We are very happy with the Badlands calves here so far as he provides surefire calving ease and vigor combined with growth and a great look to them. Not a combination that’s easy to find. Proven cow power and cow families on both sides of her pedigree, no guesswork here.

This is a female that has been a standout since an early age. Very well balanced in every way, with big middle and top. She was one of the stoutest heifer calves last summer and continues to be one of the stoutest breds in the pen today. She does this while still maintaining a strong feminine look and is eye catching on the move as she really strides out. Her beautiful dam 2F is as balanced and sound a female as you will find. She really is hard to pick a hole in. She has earned a chance at the donor pen next spring with her production record for us. 2005 really does looks like a carbon copy of her Dam. A 2F daughter was one of the high selling breds last year and the reports we got back on her this summer were very good. 2005 is sired by DL Rainmaker 1879 and offers some outcross genetics for most. As a bonus she is bred up early to the exciting Ellingson Turn Key who was the lead off 3 Rivers son in the 2021 Ellingson sale. We are liking the Turn Key calves here so far, both sexes. We think this combination could be very profitable for her new owners.

DUSTY’S BLACKBIRD 2037
2037 is the first of two outstanding full sibling ET daughters of Chestnut Turning Heads on offer out of our now deceased Blackbird 642 donor we owned with Wheatland Cattle Co. This will be your last chance to grab hold of the 642 influence and add it to your herd. Both these powerful daughters possess extra stretch, depth, and style with a beautiful profile. 2037 is a real eye catcher and will be hard to miss. She has such a strong productive look to her. She is very sound structured and moves out very smoothly. Bred to a new herdsire here Dusty’s Renovation 2036 which should be exciting. The resulting calf will combine 2 of our best donors with the 2036 bull being out of the great 7077 cow as well. We just see so much potential in this 2037 female and can’t wait to see her hit production.
DUSTY’S BLACKBIRD 2044
2044 is the second good full sibling ET daughter on offer out of the deceased Blackbird 642 donor. This female has so much stoutness and top in her, very powerfully constructed. This is the first of the Defiance 199F daughters on offer this year and she is out of a good Blackjack Willy daughter that we purchased from Colten Brokenshire. That gives this female a unique twist to her pedigree that opens up so many breeding options for her. The Willy daughters we have seen in production are the productive herd bull producing kind, sound made and stout and milky. This female looks to be headed in the same direction. Defiance has proven to be a real foot and leg improver and puts a real strong head and front end into his progeny. Use his progeny as breeding pieces to lock in those traits and put some extra jam into their progeny. 2058 herself is a big middled and well balanced female with a big well shaped foot under her that has the backing of the great Grace 126Z donor in her pedigree. I really see the 126Z cow influence when I look at this female. Bred up early to Ellingson Turn Key. I really think that mating should compliment what this female offers.

DUSTY’S LADY BLOSSOM 2025
2025 is the only daughter of Payweight 1682 we have on offer. A well made and stretchy female out of a big volume cow we got when we purchased the George McNeely cowherd a few years ago. Typical of the Payweight daughters 2025 has a real maternal look and plenty of middle and I can see her developing into a real productive cow. Bred to the $85000 Ellingson Badlands and as a bonus the vet figures she is carrying a hfr calf. We sure do like our Badlands females so far. I think that payweight/ badlands mix could be very interesting.
2061
2061 is the result of some embryos we purchased a few years ago. This Supercharger/Bismark combo offers a really interesting pedigree to work with in a very eye appealing package. The Abigale cow has produced many quality progeny over the years and is a typical big bodied Bismark daughter that we all know and love. Bred to the new herdsire Dusty’s Renovation 2036 this female really offers a lot of potential with that resulting calf. Adding in the 7077 influence is never a bad thing.

DUSTY’S DORA 2028
2028 is another good DL Rainmaker daughter giving her a different twist to her pedigree to play with. Out of another of the good cows we purchased in the George McNeely cowherd. A female with some extra length, plenty of middle, and an extended front end. We haven’t calved out any Rainmaker daughters yet but they look like they should drop down nice udders. Bred up early to the $85000 Ellingson Badlands for a quick return on investment.
DUSTY’S DUCHESS 2062
A good Defiance daughter here out of the Duchess cow family. Typical Defiance progeny with big foot, sound leg structure, and good middle. This will probably be the last big group of Defiance daughters we will have to market as we have started to update our herdbull battery. So get them while you can. Bred early to Ellingson Badlands, this cross has so much potential with the combination of the Grace 126Z cow family and the Bells Girl cow family. Power in the blood.

The Three Rivers sons last spring around the country were a highly sought after and powerfully made bunch wherever he was used. This stretchy, deep made, powerful female follows right in that same mold. Her full brothers in the pasture are made exactly the same. The consistency in this mating is definitely there. 3028 has been a standout since early on and offers a lot of things we feel that the breed should be looking for…. a little more frame, a little more length, a little more hip, all without sacrificing soundness and femininity. We see this female as a future herdbull producer. Buy with confidence on these 7077 daughters.

Another good DL Rainmaker daughter here. Rainmaker really seemed to work well for us. A Rainmaker daughter will be one of the highlights in the bred section as well. 3043 is a real eye catcher with a beautiful outline. Sound, hairy, deep, and long. This one could wear a show halter as well. The Countess 7077 influence is clear here when you look at this stylish lady. Bit different pedigree opens up a lot of options for breeding time. She does have a bit of white on her udder so if that’s a problem for you this won’t be the heifer for you. Huge ribbed and big hipped. She contributed a real good young defiance hfr last year to the sale that went to Ontario and just keeps putting out beautiful heifer calves for us. 86E is quickly earning her way into the donor pen with her production. The Turn Key progeny we have of both sexes have impressed us so far. We love the look, softness, and correctness they have. 3035 is balanced and deep and looks to have a ton of future in her. DUSTY’S LUCY 3006
This Trust daughter is out of a good Dave Longshore bred dam that has been a real solid producer for us. We sold another real good Trust hfr calf last year to Riley Merril that was a highlight in that offering. We find that these Trust calves just keep getting better with age. We retained a good Trust son to be a new herdbull here for us and Hilltop Cattle Co this spring. 3006 is a real nice outlined female with plenty of depth and a real nice maternal look to her. We haven’t calved out any Trust daughters yet but they look like they should be real good producers.
DUSTY’S SABRINA 3001
This Exclusive daughter came as the result of some embryos we purchased in the Meadow Acres Dispersal. The Sabrina 22E cow really needs no introduction, she worked so well for the Fornwald’s over the years, as did her mother Sabrina 89B. We were hoping we might get a baldy here but 3001 is so stout hipped and big ribbed its hard to be disappointed. Typical Exclusive progeny with her stylish outline and strong head. We think this female will be a real good producer for her new owners.

We are so happy to have some good simmental females included in the sale this year and what a way to start off this section with a couple full siblings out of the great Sage 526C donor. This flush was so consistent. 3003 has been a real standout all along. Deep, thick topped, big footed, big middled. Everything we hoped to see out of this mating. The Tycoon progeny have been real well accepted and the Sage progeny certainly need no introduction. This female definitely should not be leaving our place but as I said before, we are digging very deep for this first Fall Showcase sale. We really wanted to have the first simmental females we have sold in many years be the kind that could really make a mark in someones herd. And these sisters definitely fit that bill.

TINY PRIDE 20K
20K is a heifer we think very highly of at Tiny Angus. Her dam, 8061, is a cow we purchased from Merit Cattle Co and she has raised top end heifer calves every year and 20K is no exception. This female is attractive and feminine on the profile and powerful when you get behind her, backed with a foot and leg structure anyone can appreciate.
TINY PRIDE 30K
30K’s dam, 8104, is a no-miss cow and to say we love this heifer would be an understatement. This being one of the only heifer calves this cow has ever had, we are sad to see her go but excited to offer a female sired by our own genetics. This heifer is our type to a “T”; great feet and udder structure, deep bodied and long spined, with a pretty head and neck.

PENDING – TRA 16K – FEBRUARY 26, 2022
The dam of 16K is a cow our daughter, Grace, purchased from Crescent Creek Angus that weans off one our biggest calves year after year. A maternal sibling to 16K sold in the Ladies of the West sale last December to Dwajo Angus, proving that no matter what we breed this cow to she knocks it out of the park! 16K is a female that carries a shocking amount of rib and body and one we think will make a tank of a mama cow.
8K is the first calf out of a cow our daughter, Kate, purchased from Roch Springs Show Cattle and showed all spring and summer as a heifer. This cow has a beautiful foot and udder that she has passed down to her daughter. 8K is the most powerful female in our offering, backed by maternal genetics and bred back to a GCC Gold Standard X615 son. We think the possibilities for the heifer are endless, whether you want to raise maternal females or poweful bulls.
