I have invested my life building and developing my cattle program, with an eye to best possible outcomes for the breed and for you, my customer, and your future satisfaction and profitability. To that end I am always sourcing exciting and fresh new genetics, researching cow families, and studying growth data, phenotype and overall marketability to create the most profitable cattle for the industry. I have always focused on combining maternal strength with beautiful, correct udders; structural soundness, good strong feet and performance, along with keeping my eye on calving ease. I feel this is my strongest and deepest set of bred heifers that I have ever offered. On December 11 at 7:00 PM I am once again opening the gates and offering the heart of my herd, bred to some of the most sought after and freshest maternal giants in the breed, whose daughters are extremely productive. The heart of the Spring Creek program is once again on offer and what a set of highly proven bred cows and select bred heifers. Brian McCarthy would notably be one of the leading breeders in Canada and annually hosts one of the very best bull sales each spring. This is my feature heifer. She is the natural daughter of the $50,000 high seller from last year’s sale. She is very growthy and thick, yet still has a very feminine broody look to her. I am reluctant to let her go, but I have full sister embryo calves to carry on the influence of ‘68Z’, one of the most productive cows that I have ever raised. Add this influence to that of ‘Blue Chip’s’ dam and I predict ‘44F’ will end up in a flush program down the road. Her EPD’s are very good.
