Welcome to our Golden Opportunity V Female Sale. We have a tremendous offering of proven cows and bred heifers with potential built into their pedigrees. Over the past few years, we have sold different groups of cows, and this year it is predominately the cows that were born in 2012. You will see the ‘Springcreek’ prefix for generation after generation. We have tried to be consistent in our thoughts over the years, and this leads to more consistency within the cows and their prepotency to breed true in the future. The vast majority are homozygous polled, a trait that will become increasingly important. These cow families are the factories that we have used to build our successful bull sales and a long list of repeat buyers. The bred heifer package will definitely have individuals that will go on to become foundation females for their new owners. The cow families behind them ensure this. Springcreek Liner 90E There is no question in my mind which female should draw the ‘Lot 1’ position. She has only had four bull calves which have sold to top herds with total proceeds of over $180,000.00!! Her 2018 ‘Blue Chip’ heifer calf may be my top open heifer. Her sons have sold to Bata Bros., LaBatte/ Oberle/Cuss, Meadow Acres and Neil Carson. All her sons have had exceptional testicular size. Her EPDs are exceptional across the board. She has worked very well in our flush program, averaging nine frozen embryos on five flushes. She is now open and ready to be flushed. Her pedigree is one that will work with most of today’s breeding programs. She really doesn’t have any flaws in her phenotype, her pedigree or in her numbers, making the sire selection for flushes an intriguing but easy process. She is the kind that will build a very positive reputation for your herd bulls. I hate to see her go, but I know she will work very well for her new owner; I will be left with an embryo bank.

You will have to look over a lot of cows to find a better looking one. This beautifully uddered ‘Liner 56U’ daughter goes back a number of generations to my old ‘Signal’ show cow…’Leila’. Her future calves will be very marketable as everyone demands to see a super looking cow as the dam of their purchase, let alone if that dam be out of the immortal ‘Liner 56U’. She should probably be bred to a red sire as she is singly diluted. Her last bull calf sold to the Chitticks. I only have one daughter, so I would be interested in sharing in a flush or acquiring a heifer somewhere along the way.
