This year we have a consistent group of 18 sound, functional red and black yearling bulls on offer. Our program is based on utilizing top quality walking herd bulls to produce the best cattle that we can. Building and maintaining a quality, attractive cow herd with good feet and udders is always a priority, we cull heavy and the ones that don’t work for us are gone down the road.
Thank you to all the cattlemen and women who bid on and purchased bulls in our sale last year, your continued support is truly appreciated. Over 70% of the bulls sold to repeat customers and our goal is to grow that number each year.
The cattle market seems to get better year after year, which is great to see ranchers finally getting paid for something they love and work so hard for.

Welcome to the 2025 edition of the Sinclair’s Flying S Ranch Simmental Bull Sale. Ken & Shauna have again assembled a high quality set of red and black beef bulls for your appraisal and we can confidently say its their deepest and most consistent group to date. The utilization of 4 powerful walking bulls at Flying S has left a pen of bulls that are very consistent in type and kind and in many cases you will get a chance at 3/4 or full brothers in blood to choose from. The Flying S bulls are bred, raised and developed with the commercial cattleman in mind and are fed and grown out responsibly with longevity at the forefront. These bulls are chocked full of natural red meat and muscle and are very sound and athletic. The Flying S cowherd is a real no non sense, easy doing set of cows with a heavy emphasis on foot and udder quality. The cows are low maintenance and are always impressive to tour through. We highly encourage you to give Ken or Shauna a call and discuss your herd bull needs and hope you take advantage at the opportunity to get your shopping done early before the busy spring schedule of sales and all that come with that time of year. Nikon is a smooth made bull with lots of middle, a small head with a very acceptable birthweight that will make him a calving ease bull with excellent performance. His dam has put five top bulls into some very good commercial herds as well as three daughters that are working in our herd including the dam of our high selling bull last year. You will want to keep the daughters out of this guy.
Noah is a powerful, eye appealing bull that will produce heavy weight steers in the now very popular black exotic pens. His young dam comes from one of our best and most consistent cow families and two of her sisters also have bulls in this sale. They are lots 11 & 16. Noah’s maternal half brother was our second high selling bull last year.
New this year
All bulls have been 100K tested as well as tested for Homo Polled, Homo Black and Non Diluter (results will be in our online catalogue)
Napa was our highest performing black bull on weaning day and he has maintained that growth curve since. His beautiful dam coms form some of the best bloodlines at Perlinger Simmentals. Napa has one sister working in our herd and another one that is one of the top bred heifers in our black division. This guy will add pounds to your calf crop.
Nash has been one of the front runners in our black division from day one. He is a big hipped bull with a strong top and lots of middle. His dam was a purchase out of the Agribition sale and one of her Crossroad Connected daughters also went through the Agribition Sale a few years ago. She also has a daughter walking the pastures at Peters Simmentals. Nash is possibly the most complete bull in our offering and he could be the quietest as well.
Nevada is the tallest bull in our FLY 106K sire group, that was also in the top end for weaning weight. His beautiful black baldy dam is a daughter of our Lazy Creek Wide Open bull that walked here for many years and produced so many good females that are the backbone of our black division. Use this guy on your British cows to add a little more frame and length to your calves.
Newton is a very quiet bull with lots of hair and moderate birthweight. He carries a lot of meat and muscle on a moderate frame and will produce those easy keeping females that we are all after. His dam had a bull in this sale last year and comes from our highly productive Princess cow family. This guy would work great on a group of second calvers.
Nixon is very similar to the rest of the FLY 40K sire group, they are thick, meaty, hairy and quiet. I know it sounds pretty repetitious but that is the way they are. They are some of the first bulls noticed in the pen. If you are in the market for a low birthweight, power bull that is easy on the eyes then Nixon is for you.
Next Up is another quiet bull from FLY 40K sire group. 40K is used in our program to moderate birthweight and improve weaning weight as well as having a great disposition and excellent feet. We can’t wait to get his daughters into production. Next Up had a maternal brother in our sale last year and he is doing an excellent job working at Whitemud Ranch.
Nolan is the only black baldy bull in our offering. While he is one of the younger bulls he has a lot to offer as he comes from a great cow family with exceptional feet and udders. He has some very notable black Simmental bulls in his genetics including Gold Key, Riddler, Full Throttle and Club King. I would be keeping as many of his daughters as possible.
Nike is a calving ease bull with lots of thickness and power. His first calving dam did a great job on this guy as well as breeding back early for next year. She comes from our Belle cow family which is one of the favorites around here. Nike has been admired by visitors for his overall mass and great hair coat. Use him on your second calvers for a little more performance.
Neptune would be a great option if you are looking for a black heifer bull. His grand dam is our Dixie 70A cow who is also the dam of Lot 1. The dams of both Lots 11 & 12, are grand daughters of Profit, which gives them style and performance.
Niko is the first bull in our GVR 5J sire group. Lots of length of body, a small head with smooth shoulders along with a short gestation make him a great candidate for the heifer pen. These light birthweight bulls in the Simmental breed are in high demand so use him on your cows or heifers with confidence.
Newt is one of the stoutest bulls in the pen and is always noticed by visitors. His dam comes from one of our best cow families and she had a bull in our sale last year on her first try and bred back early and did a great job on this guy as well. Newt is a performance bull with great maternal strengths as well.
Noel was our heaviest weaning bull while still maintaining a moderate birth weight. We purchased his dam from Perlinger Simmentals and she comes from one of their best and longest standing cow families. This guy will produce pay weight calves on sale day. Make sure to put him on your watch list.

Nilson is a black calving ease bull mixed in with this red sire group. In the 2024 breeding season we bred a half dozen black cows to GVR 5J in an attempt to get more red calves born in 2025. Most of them came out black and Nilson is a result of that. Use him on your cows or heifers. Same cow family as Lots 2 & 11.

Nashville is a dark red bull that will calve like a dream. Mothered by one of our coveted Gold Key daughters, she has done excellent job on this March calf. She had a set of twins as a heifer that set her 2025 calving date back a little but she is due to calve in January 2026. Nashville impressed some visitors on summer tours and has exceeded our expectations for such a young age. I would keep this guy on your short list if you are in the market for a dark red calving ease specialist. I would plan to retain his daughters as well.
