Wow ! Hard to believe a year has gone by and the Quebec Elite 2025 Edition is out. With every week hitting new pricing record in the beef industry through out North America, it makes this years selection from deep into some herds very exciting for long term investment and genetics. The old consigners along with the new consigners have selected a group of cattle that are of a genetic quality and can be added in any program across the country.
We have some prospect heifer calves that have been shown this year, some stout bred yearlings to make great mother cows and some proven cows ready to go into herds to continue their value to the industry. Also, the frozen section has a wide variety of genetics and punch with the fun of trying to get the next great one.
As past years, The Quebec Elite is self managed, and we are pleased to have the Bohrson Team to help with the marketing of these quality genetics. All of the consigners are of upmost quality as so their cattle and back their product fully.

She is big footed, big ribbed and easy doing all in a dark cherry red package. She is a sweetheart and would make a great 4H or YCS project for next summer!

This fancy attractive heifer is a sweetheart and would make a great junior heifer or 4H project! Being shown all summer, she has become a pet. She is the first calf off a heifer we selected from Erixons last fall, and we were thrilled with the job the slider two year old did. The Double Up and Slider combo is an interesting pedigree, and she is a very nice super sound heifer calf.

Nola is the power heifer calf in the offering there’s no doubt she is one of the heaviest weaning heifer calves that is still attractive with all that growth! She has shown very successfully and is a dream to work with. Nola is super quiet and easy going, she would love to go to YCS next year. She is the first progeny to sell off the herd bull from Silver Lake Simmentals but won’t be the last. She will be part of the show string later this fall at the national simmental show in Victoriaville, Qc.

Todd Jasmine 9J is a young cow admired by visitors and is a pasture favourite. She is a red SKORS High Roller 34C out of the great Pocahontas cow family. Super maternal with calving ease and the cross with WSF Abel for power should make these embryos a great investment. Also, next year a full sibling to these embryos will likely be leading off the bred heifer pen. Both pedigrees are Homo Polled.

Extra Chrome! This embryo heifer is a full sibling to Todd Megatron 8M our favourite bull from the bull pen last spring, who bred a group of young cows and came to the show barn. He has been supreme champion 2 of his first 3 outings!! Todd Dazzle 35F is a personal favourite of Ray’s that has weaned a bull calf over 1100 pounds. Thats alot of pounds for her calves, so it’s safe to say we expect this cool lookin lady to follow in those footsteps.

This long bodied super sound heifer didn’t want to cooperate in the picture pen so we are using the picture of her maternal sister from last year that is now working at Riverside/Sonmar simmentals. Her dam is a great uddered cow with lots of milk that comes from the renowned Ashworth herd in Saskatchewan. We are very happy to participate for the first time in the Québec Elite sale. For the occasion, we decided to offer you Luna, one of the best heifers in our program. Luna is well balanced from front to back, with a long body, excellent feet and she is very quiet. As a bonus, she is homozygous polled and black. Unfortunately, we lost her dam last year due to an injury. She was a powerful cow sired by the famous LFE Riddler 323B, a bull that no longer needs introduction. Mia is one of the most powerful heifers in our group this year. It’s not really a surprise when you look at her pedigree. Her sire, RF Boomer 262K is a bull with lots of performance. Mia is also one of the first Boomer daughters to be sold. On the maternal side, we find proven Fullblood lines with PHS Bank Roll and Dirty Harry, two bulls who have made their mark in the breed. This combination is quite interesting in our opinion and will allow her to produce calves with a lot of muscling and weight gain. Mia’s dam is a fertile cow with good feet, and she is a good mother cow. She weans off a very good calf every year. Although they have very different pedigrees, Mandy and Madonna are very similar. They were born a day apart and they have a dark red color that will not leave anyone indifferent on sale day.
Mandy is the daughter of Black Gold Ava Scream 102J, a bull that sold for more than $100,000 in March 2022. Her mother LEP 29G is one of the best cows in our whole herd and has perfect udder as well as very strong feet. Also, a maternal sister to Mandy is consigned in the Eastern Harvest Sale. Like her sister, Mandy is deep-bodied and should become an excellent cow.
Madonna for her part is a daughter of RF No Limits 1112J, a bull that we loved using here. She is the first calf of Lepage Kenya 19K, a young cow that will quickly become one of the favorite cows of our herd. Lavira is a heifer who has been turning heads since she was young due to her imposing stature and docility. Her dam, Bisch Northriver Elvira, is our favorite cow in the herd due to her docility, good milk production, and who always transmits beautiful musculature to her offspring. Her sire, Sensation, was chosen for his dairy strength and uniformity in ability, not to mention that we wanted a homozygous heifer, and we succeeded; Lavira is homozygous polled.

She is easy fleshing, deep bodied with lots of natural muscle. Noble comes from a long line of maternal cows with excellent udders, lots of milk and near perfect feet and legs. This heifer is extremely quiet; halter broke and destined to hit the show ring with a junior next year.

TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash or cheque payable in Canadian funds at par immediately following the sale. The right of ownership shall not pass until after settlement is made. All settlements must be made before any livestock will be released. Sale management reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 2% per month on overdue accounts.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: After settlement has been made the buyer will be provided with the proper registration papers, duly transferred on the record of the Canadian Simmental Association. Further transfer to the herd books of other countries shall be at the buyer’s expense.
DELIVERY: Delivery will be the responsibility of the buyer and the buyer’s risk.
BREEDERS GUARANTEE: As per applicable Canadian Breed Association Breeding Guarantee guidelines. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price.
EXCEPTION TO GUARANTEE: In cases where the animal is subjected to any hormonal or surgical reproduction techniques after the sale, the guarantee shall be null and void.
ACCIDENTS: Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the sales staff, auctioneer, or consignors assume any responsibility in the matter and disclaims any liability, legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.
LOAD-OUT: No cattle will be loaded until the conclusion of the sale.
