Welcome to the 2022 Place for Your Bet Female Sale. The Arntzen and Kueber families have been on the Simmental and Angus map for many years. You might recognize them as Sun Star Simmental, Arntzen Angus and Kueber Farms.

We at Bohrson Marketing encourage you to take this great opportunity to acquire genetics from the heart of their herds, that they have been building for many generations. As the cattle market is seeing all time highs, it is important to add genetics and numbers that are low maintenance and high production. These two superb farms are offering some of these great genetic traits in this sale.

With 30 plus Simmental and 30 Angus on offer, there is an opportunity for everyone to acquire quality at this great event. Currently, we try to select a number of AI sires or embryo donors from fellow canadian producers to provide a diverse gene base to propagate our program forward. We aim to use sires and donor dams which we are familiar not only with their physical merits, but their production records to provide as accurate a genetic representation that we can. Each fall we aggressively cull for foot, udder, temperament and production issues which leaves us with multi trait cows built to last. Our decision to partake in a small reduction was fairly short notice, and we would like to invite you to the farm to tour the herd to get a more accurate representation of these females, their dams, grand dams, maternal sisters and sire groups we have in production. The offering consists mainly of bred heifers, pregnant receips, and a sampling of a few young cows in production to showcase the type of young females we have working. The females were pictured in late September and as you will see, the bred heifers are in a nice fresh condition going into their first production year. We stand behind these females, and have great confidence in their ability to add some diversity and genetic merit to your herd.
