e are so excited to open up those Barn Doors, and Welcome you all back to our 5th Annual Bull and Female Sale. It has been too long, and after a 2 year hiatus, we are back to a LIVE sale. Time to shake hands or hug it out, and then get back to business, where ourselves and the Granger family look forward to seeing you and inviting you over to view some cattle and enjoy some hospitality.

We have been working diligently to source the best genetics we can to assure our customers optimum quality herdsires from only our strongest maternal bloodlines. Our mission every year never changes, and it’s quite simple. We are geared to raising and selling bulls and females that maintain what the Angus breed is known for, and not change it with the current trends. I don’t claim to have breed changers, as I prefer our breed the way it is. When purchasing cattle from us, we want you to know that we put as much emphasis on the dams of these bulls as we do on the sire selection, and only my very best are offered here today.

Please read through our Herdsire pages to learn a little more about our walking sires and which group may best suit your needs. We have on offer true power and performance bulls, as well as a nice calving ease selection that still carry some stoutness and dimension.

Going through this years bullpen, its very evident that progress and improvements take time, and I was very fortunate to acquire this herd from my dear Dad who started this herd over 60 years ago. At that time he fell in love with the Angus breed, and purchased his first Angus cow with a grain ticket. His passion for the cattle and people involved became my passion. He wanted his customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases and enjoy the process. I hope we can do the same for you. The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds.

Delivery within 300km radius to central points. Every assistance will be given in getting your purchases home. Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Bulls will be delivered in a timely manner following the sale.

Each animal will carry papers issued by the applicable breed association, unless otherwise noted. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been Insurance made.

by Canadian Sires and Perrot Cattle Co as one of the feature lots and High selling bulls at the 2019 Peak Dot Bull Sale. Franchise offers an outcross pedigree to many programs, and the opportunity to acquire genetics from him brings an exciting opportunity for cattle breeders.

SAV Shortcut 6088 is a bull we acquired from the prestigious Schaff Angus Valley Sale in North Dakota. Shortcut is a thick, good footed, easy fleshing Cutting Edge son with capacity, length of body and muscle in a moderate framed package.

He comes from five consecutive generations of elite Pathfinder dams who excel in fertility, longevity, and maternal value. Kelly Schaff emailed me a picture of Shortcuts dam two years ago and stated that she still has a perfect udder and foot at 12 years of age. His dam has produced an $80,000 son, and Shortcuts granddam served in the SAV program for 19 years.

Shortcut has a powerful presence, and has been an invaluable asset to our program. He continually produces our top performing bulls that are stout, hairy, good footed and easy to maintain.

In the Spring of 2020, we were on the hunt for a Bravo calving ease son. Scott Bohrson helped us find this young bull at the good Lewis Farms herd, and he has been everything we could have asked for in a calving ease sire. The Galaxy progeny are low birth weight, big performance type cattle with superior foot quality and tremendous structure. These calves aren’t frail when they are born, they have substance and are full of vigor.

Galaxy himself is in the top 5% for WW, top 10% for YW, and the top 10% for REA. These first Galaxy calves just make us want more of them. The heifers are stout with a beautiful front end, and the bulls are attractive made masculine bulls with a very desirable muscle shape and phenotype. These cattle are hairy and docile with soundness throughout, and we are looking forward to watching these cattle mature and work in other herds.

This will be your first sneak peak at our up and coming herdsire, Perrots Inferno 32J. This bull came to us through a special trio of embryos we purchased from our friends at Brooking Angus.

Everyone that seen the dam of this bull, Brooking Beauty 6051, commented that she was a sight to behold. Unbelievable in her phenotype, extremely angular, while being bold and wide in her hip structure. She carried a beautiful udder and strong feet, however she unfortunately was lost at a young age, so her direct progeny will be minimal.

A full sister to this bull sold through the Rosebowl sale last August for an outstanding $30,000 pricetag.

His sire is SAV America 8018, the 1.51 million USD world record selling bull, who combines massive performance, superior soundness, and docility.

Frankie 56J would be one of my top picks in the bull pen this year. For me, he is an ideal frame size, he’s deep sided, and carries his quarter down. The day this calf was born, he stood out to me. Kahlua 84J is a tanky, complete bull full of muscle capacity and a very appealing phenotype. He is the youngest bull in the offering, but sure doesn’t lack anything with regards to performance and power. I personally think this is one of Franchise’s coolest calves he has given us. The dam of Kahlua is one of the biggest framed, stout made cows on the farm. She has a full sister to Kahlua on the ground this year, and she is a sweetheart. I think this bull would be a nice heifer safe option. A moderate framed, small birth weight bull out of a beautiful 2 year old Capitalist daughter that carries a perfect udder. The dam of this bull was also a class winner in a very strong class of heifer calves at Agribition in 2019. Unfortunately, our clock ran out getting a picture of this quiet bull, but he is off a special trio of embryos we purchased from Brooking Angus. After hearing so much about this amazing female that Brooking raised and trying but unsuccessfully bidding on her first son, we were more than pleased to get these embryos purchased. There was the unfortunate loss of Beauty 6051 at a young age, but she was described as being perfect in phenotype with a big bold rib, and a wide hip. She maintained an ideal udder and a sound hoof.
