With much anticipation we are pleased to welcome you to the 2023 New Years Resolution sale. This year brings the 11th annual edition of this great event and over the past decade NYR has become synonymous for high quality genetic opportunities. Whether it be from exclusive semen packages, big time embryo matings or unique pick of the herd chances, NYR has always been the source of some of the most elite in the entire beef industry. This is only made possible by breeders stepping up to the plate and committing to always offer their very best genetics and we commend each and everyone of them for using this sale as their source to market their product. In many cases, the New Year Resolution is your only chance to obtain much of the selection made up here in this catalogue. Over the years, many success stories have stemmed from selections out of this very sale. Multiple champions, sale toppers and new cornerstone bulls and females to build off of have derived right from this very function. This is a fact we are extremely proud of and believe the 11th gathering of elite, high quality genetics provides as much potential as any set offered before. We are humbled by the immense amount of excitement put together for this years sale from industry leading outfits right across North America. Angus, Red Angus, Charolais, Gelbvieh, Hereford, Limousin, Maine-Anjou, Simmental and Speckle Park are all very well represented and we believe each respective breed is deep with quality no matter what way you choice to utilize them. As excited as we always are for the NYR Sale, maybe our favourite part about it is the years after each event as we see how positively the genetics obtained impact a breeding program. We really hope you can join us at West Edmonton Mall to take in an evening of socializing, entertainment and big time opportunity. Make plans to bring the family along to enjoy the waterpark, galaxy land and the fun West Edmonton Mall has to offer. We look forward to visiting with you in Edmonton!
A panel of 5 judges have scored 60+ applicants that submitted essaays in the first round of the For the Future program.
The topic was ‘WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL? HOW DO THEY INSPIRE YOU TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE FUTURE?’. The quality of essays that were received made it very difficult to select only 8.
It’s amazing to read about personal inspirations of our youth and how EVEN WHAT FEELS LIKE THE SMALLEST OF GESTURES CAN REALLY HAVE AN IMPACT ON ANOTHER.
We encourage all of those who submitted essays to share them with their role models as they deserve to hear about how much of an impact they have truly had on you!
The second round of the program will be an in-person interview with our 5 judges to determine the final breakdown of the winners which will be presented before the live portion of NYR Sale evenings festivities. The Panel of Judges for 2022 are: ANNA PERROT, HAYLEY SHIERMAN, KIRSTIN VOICE, RACHEL RICHARDS AND REBECCA BOHRSON.

Pick to be made by July 15, 2023
1This would be one of the rarest opportunities we have ever offered, and has never been done before from our program! With selling you the choice of the open heifer calves, we are offering you the most exciting and proven genetics we have to offer the industry! With over 60 progeny expected out of the $280,000 Mader Walk The Line sire, and over 40 progeny expected from the $160,000 R Plus Mandate, many of which will be out of our leading donor females, there will be a lot of options here! Over 75 embryos were implanted out of leading donor cows last spring such as IRCC Darlin, Mader Violet 49H, City View Ms Jewel 66J, Mader Lady 50G, Opal 652S, IPU Pocahontas 15F, WF Cream Soda 64J, and more! There is even full siblings to Mader Walk The Line expected! There will be around 100 spring born heifer calves to pick from, along with around 30 summer calves. Many of the summer heifer calves are out of AI sires such as the $50,000 Mader Son of Anarchy sire and the $100,000 LFE Hall Pass, along with a select number of embryo calves! We pride ourselves in our cowherd producing both females and bulls that thrive in both the purebred and commercial sector, selling over 100 bulls a year as well. Recent sales have been very prosperous for their new owners including Mader Darlin 4H who has recently been crowned Supreme winner at both Lloydminster Stockade and Farmfair International, along with her full sibling Mader Big Energy making the top 5 in the bulls at Farmfair, and Mader Violet 49H making the top 5 females at Farmfair! We don’t breed show cattle, we breed cattle to be sound and functional in the commercial world, but that can excel in any environment they will endure!
Selection to be made by July 15th, 2023.
Undoubtedly the most unique cow to grace the pastures at Twin Springs is the fan favourite Darlin 4H. Never have we seen a cow combine the kind of rib and body mass udder that is about as perfect as you can make one in the Simmental breed. Simply put, Darlin is a female that is just fun to look at and admire, and she has been her whole life. She started out as a past FNL high seller, then matured into a division winning bred female, and better yet, a front pasture donor female that is currently undefeated after back to back Supreme Champion wins at Lloydminster and Farmfair. Her mating to the $150 000 Caliber is exciting to say the least. The resulting heifer calves will combine two of the best cow families currently in the Simmental breed; the Darlin’s and the Flirt’s. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to get embryos on one of the best up and coming red females in the breed.
Lot 3 3 embryos | Embryos to be made spring of 2023 to the bull of the buyer’s choice - must be an agreed upon sire with KT Ranches
Mader Walk The Line 92J, were absolute must have’s out of last year’s Friday Night Lights sale, and topped the sale at $60,000 and $285,000 respectively. Darlin’ has had an incredible year since coming to KT. She was named Supreme Champion at the 100th Dawson Creek Exhibition and Stampede, Supreme Champion at the 121st Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede, First Lady Classic Champion, Reserve Champion Simmental female and Top 10 Supreme at this year’s fall shows, and we couldn’t be happier to have Walk The Line and 2J as our parts of the Darlin’ Legacy. Every once in awhile cattle come along that are so much more than just cattle, they really are part of your family. 2J, K.D, as we call her is just that. She is incredible from every angle you look at her, and has a bond with a four year old boy, that you wish every kid could experience once in their lifetime. Erixon Darlin’ is incredibly special to us and is going to be a big part of the future of KT Ranches. There will not be many frozen opportunities ever offered on her, take advantage and add your own chapter into the Darlin’ story.
There just aren’t enough adjectives to describe the impact Darlin 613D has had on the Simmental breed or perhaps even the entire purebred beef industry. Darlin 2.0 was the talk of FNL in 2020 where she commanded $45000 and hasn’t disappointed since that day. Recently declared National Champion Simmental Female at the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, Darlin 2.0 is a prototype female with balance, mass and power combined with high end udder quality and the unparalleled look that all the mating to Limitless will be a full sibling in blood to the exquisite heifer calf on the Farm Fair Supreme and Agribition Champion Female of Twin Springs and Black Golds, that will undoubtedly also make some noise at FNL. There is a huge list of should a-could a-would a- people from all breeds wishing they had become part of the Darlin hype, here is another opportunity you won’t want to miss.
seven ET daughters to sell off this past triple crown winning female averaged just under $42 000, and we truly believe she is just getting started. Her leadoff daughter that sold in our fall female sale to KT Ranches, has already began a fall show run that’s been impressive to say the least. Going undefeated among heifer calves of any breed at both the Olds Fall Classic and Stockade Round-Up, she was also named the Reserve Champion Simmental Female at both outings. As I write this, she heads into Agribition being in the lead for Show Female of the Year. This mating to the $230 000 KCC1 Countertime is beyond exciting to say the least. Countertime’s rookie calf at public auction commanding $37 000 US. This mating offers real world cow power and maternal qualities, on cattle that have excelled in the show ring, but most importantly the sale ring. We believe these embryos offer more potential upside and ROI then anything we have ever offered. We plan to keep Hayleigh 15G genetics off the market for 2023, so take advantage of this unique opportunity on a donor that is unlike any we have ever owned.
program and from a cow family that has made a big impact on the breed. Scream 974G was a dominant female in show ring as a calf and 2 year old winning buckles and
everywhere she went but her true value is in production. The mating to the $150,000 Caliber is the icing on the cake as he has bred as consistently as any bull we have ever used and was the heaviest used bull in our program for the 2023 calving year. This mating has the potential to make big time herd bulls and outstanding show heifers that will quickly become donor cows. 974G has incredible hair, outstanding feet, a great udder and is docile as you can make one. This mating to Caliber will combine some the breed’s great ones all in one pedigree.

This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity from one of the best established Fullblood programs in the entire world!
Couture was a quick favourite of ours as soon as she was born with her cherry red colour pattern, square build and a maternal lineage that we ranked as one of our best. Her dam calf born to carry on her legacy was exciting. That summer and fall alongside her mother, she was a favourite of every visitor and has continued to be at every stage of her life. To this day we love to show off her moderate broody build and attractive design. Her production record year to Rich Mc and more recently she raised BLL Rumble 62H purchased by Beechinor Bros and Skywest for $355000. Her heifer calf this year is a top pick. The cross with Electric Avenue should produce something special. Double down on the dark mahogany red colour, eye catching style and abundant muscle shape. The maternal merit in Electric Avenue is rising to the top already and his daughters are some of the most popular in the breed. A son or daughter out of this cross could be a building block for any Fullblood Fleckvieh breeder. We rarely sell embryos and it’s not in our plans to sell more off Couture in the near future.
Full Fleckvieh of the Prospect Hill Dispersal. I had spotted this cow and asked Dan Skeels if he would look at her for me as he was at the sale, being the auctioneer that day. He phoned me back and said do you want cow for a lot of money. When she landed at my place I was so impressed with her. Blood red, huge goggles, and was the deepest, thickest Fleckvieh cow I had ever seen and yet still was feminine and stylish. She had already produced a $23,000 and a $30,000 heifer. She had since mothered some exceptional heifers for us and produced many bull calves through embryo work with bulls working in Saskatchewan, Alberta, Quebec, South Dakota and Montana. Right here in Saskatchewan a Black Gold epic son of hers is doing a tremendous job for Kuntz Simmental, his name is IPU 402T Esposito 126D. We really believe that Precious Thing is the right type of cow to be mated to polled fullblood bulls. The popularity of the polled Flecks has grown tremendously in the past few years, but we have to remember to keep all the good traits of the Fleckvieh cattle and not just polled heads. This cow is the popular polled FGAF Radioactive 030E bull should be outstanding and exciting.
half a dozen years and when we came across 096F at the Ferme Gagnon female sale, we knew we needed to take a hard look. Add in the fact she’s a direct daughter of their high income donor, 945Z and it really sealed the deal for us. The $38,000 096F is a phenotypic dream combining everything we look for in a cornerstone female. Huge footed, great bone work, stout hip, broad topped with a big sweeping rib cage, beautiful headed, great colour and pigment and a gorgeous udder. 096F is the type of female you want your herd bull to be out of and the type you would want to duplicate in your herd to have 100 females just like. We are offering you 5 embryos by the bull of your choice and look forward to hearing what the successful bidder decides to do her to as we feel she could absolutely click with whatever you throw at her.
Here the only chance to acquire some unique embryos of our donor
945Z since she is now deceased. What a production record 945Z gave
over the years with a daughter selling for 38000$ to Stout Brothers & Ghanim Cattle Company, another one working for Black Gold Simmentals whithout forgeting the really good job her son excited about this mating and we are happy to offer it to this prestigious sale. Kananaskis 945Z will be truly miss around the farm.

seller that is phenotypically stunning. Easy doing, soft made with a great maternal look with added hair and dark complexion. Her ability to get around with ease on a sound set of feet and legs while carrying as much natural shape and dimension is commendable, and the added bonus of extra extension through her front end with a beautiful Angus skull is the cherry on top! We were super excited to acquire this Meg 44F cow from Blairs.Ag in their 2021 Opportunity Knocks sale. Her dam, Red Bar-E-L Meg 169Z was a cow we always had our eye on and we knew we had to acquire a daughter sooner rather than later. She is a Santana daughter with loads of presence, udder quality and rib shape. She is maternal, be impressive. Smack is a Mooney 62G son that we purchased for $56,000 out of the Allison Farms 2022 bull sale. Talk about stoutness and dimension with added eye appeal. We used him heavily this year and cannot wait for those babies to hit the ground in January. Red Ter-Ron Judo 56J is a Riddler son who sold for $34,000 to South View Ranch in our 2022 bull sale. Riddler is the sire of our Red Angus show cow from this fall that sold to Moose Creek Red Angus for $42,000 at Red Round Up this year. He is also the sire of Red Ter-Ron Misty 131H who was so successfully shown as a bred and named First Lady Classic Champion at Agribition in 2021. The third option is Meg x Genesis, and Genesis needs no introduction. Many of his sons were high sellers in our 2022 bull sale and it looks like they will be an interesting set again this year! Genesis is backed by a superb momma cow – these calves will have a stacked pedigree! Give us a call to chat about any of the matings or with any questions you may have.
This opportunity will never be offered ever again!
Opportunities like this don’t come around very often and when they do, they present themselves with a world of potential and possibility! From one of the longest standing cow herds in Canada, Wiwa Creek Angus brings you the chance to step into their large in quantity and quality cowherd and take any cow you so choose. When you think of the greatest herds of Angus mama cows in all of Canada, this large, deep program will surely make the short list as they are notoriously known for easy doing, functional made attractive cattle that can thrive in the harshest of conditions while looking good doing so. Fertility, feet and udders are of the utmost important at Wiwa Creek and their cookie cutter herd is evident of that. It is impressive to view this cowherd as the females come one after another, sound structured females that have extra length with a real maternal look to them. This set of ranch cows annual gets it done in production and every fall wether its at the Brooking Invitational or Angus Collection, the small, select cattle offered if you do some production record searches, many females that will be up for grabs have extensive track records for bringing in the high sellers at their annual bull sale and many of the cows are responsible for certain cow families that stick out both from a sales perspective and shear production standpoint. The pick will not be an easy one as we feel the cattle are so consistent in type. You will want to do your homework and pack a lunch when you go out with JT, Kyla and Ian for a tour of one of the most decorated Angus Cowherds in the country!
Coleman Donna 439 is as valuable of female that is at Coleman Angus and has become one of the top income producing females in Coleman Angus history. Her son, Coleman Glacier 041, sold as the Lot 1 lead off bull of the 2022 spring bull sale and sold for ¼ interest for $270,000 to Ferree/Fitzgerald of Indiana and KT Ranches of Canada. She is also the mother of the top-selling spring open heifer in the 2022 Your Maternal Source Sale, Coleman Donna 264, who sold for one-half interest for $180,000 for a $360,000 valuation to K&M Cattle of Indiana. She also produced through that same event the $120,000 onehalf interest for a $240,000 valuation full sister to Glacier to Ingram Angus of Tennessee. She is also the dam of the $37,000 Coleman Donna 720 working in the KT Ranches program in Canada. Here is a special and one in a lifetime opportunity to acquire genetics from one of the most sought-after cows in the Coleman program.
We are excited to have this production powerhouse in this edition of NYR from Ingram foundation female for Ingram’s and is the dam of the $100,000 West River 2066 stud and is responsible for more than $500,000 in sales. The monsoon of mass production surround this dominant donor comes as no surprise when you analyze her striking phenotype. Emblynette 0491 is a big statured female that is powerful in every aspect, with a wide pin set, stout lower quarter, robust rib shape, big bone and strong foot. We really appreciate the udder quality she possesses and how she’s passed it on down through her progeny. Coupled with extra extension and added eye appeal we feel 0491 offers a tonne of quality and can be mated several different ways and will always click passing on her great qualities. Her maternal look, breed character and proven track record make her a proven donor that will help to elevate anyways operation.

Countess was the heifer, 9026 was of course at side of her gorgeous dam when they were the 2019 TwoTime supreme champion female at FarmFair and Agribition. 9026 herself was a $52,000 purchase by KT Ranches and matured into an absolute beautiful female who is large in her centre body, beautiful and sleek through her front end and powerful from behind. She laid down a picture perfect udder and is very correct at every angle
analyze her at. We feel her impressive phenotype, mated with these exclusive and popular
will result in highly productive and very marketable progeny, or a new piece to keep for yourself to build a cow family around.
A big time donor female we hold in high regard with her added depth of body, rib shape, muscle expression and fantastic udder. She has the big time phenotype to compliment her being sired by the legendary Resource and mothered by the productive Abigale 0277, the full sib to Charlo 0256. Her mating to the $180,000 (half interest) Hummel South America at Coleman’s 2022 production sale. We think the credibility behind this mating is plentiful and the resulting progeny will be extremely marketable and be the type to build a program around. These embryos are exportable to Canada and one of the unique opportunities to get the exclusivity to South America from one of the big time donors in the industry.
Lot 24A-B 10 doses | 5 dose packages on Bar-E-L Natural Law 52Y All proceeds being donated to the Canadian Junior Angus Association. We personally will match sale amount to a max of $10,000 to also be donated to the CJAA.
We made the decision this past summer to stopping selling Natural Law semen in Canada and just recently we have halted sales in the US for a minimum of 2 years. We have always been big supporters of our junior angus members and believe our future is in their hands. We have decided to offer 2 packages of 5 straws with all proceeds being donated to the Canadian Junior Angus Association. We personally will match sale amount to a max dominant sire. I Semen can be released in Canada or USA.
Homozygous Polled. Homozygous Black. Myostatin Non-carrier An exciting opportunity to secure risen to the top of our program. She is a favourite of everyone that comes to tour, often considered the pick of our herd. We took out the guesswork on this one and offered a mating with the proof provided. Full siblings to this mating were successfully shown at Stockade Roundup 2022. ‘Greenwood Kobra 3K’ being crowned Champion Senior Bull Calf and Reserve Champion Bull while his full brother, ‘Greenwood Kopperhead 85K’ was crowned Reserve Champion Senior Bull Calf and King of the Ring Speckle Park Bull. A unique outcome as the full brothers shared a claim to similar winnings as their sire did just two years prior. Headliner had a very successful show career, being crowned Champion Senior Bull Calf, Grand Champion Bull, King of the Ring Speckle Park Bull, and a ‘Top 4’ in the All Breed Supreme Show at Stockade Roundup 2020. He then followed that up being crowned the Junior Champion Bull at Farmfair International 2021. Aside from his impressive show career Headliner has bred far and above our high expectations, producing calves that possess his unmatched performance, striking presence and early maturity. Unfortunately, Headliner was lost this year due to injury only adding to the value of his offspring. This is one not to miss out on!
Homozygous Polled. Homozygous Black. Myostatin Non-carrier. to sell off our recent $26,000 second high selling purchase from the STS Dispersal. An exciting new female in our program that we feel has a lot to offer the Speckle Park breed. She is a big framed, huge middled, powerhouse that ties it all together with a long attractive that continues a proven line of females. If you are one to follow productive cow families then this is one to get your hands on and build off of. Adding the outcross stud, Gotcha at Underhill Specs were very well received, appreciated for their stout shape, added performance and eye-catching presence. The cross between 15C and Gotcha results in valuable outcross genetics while maintaining high end quality which is an extremely hard
Heterozygous Polled. Homozygous Black. Myostatin Non-carrier. The 154B storyline continues, year after year the list of notable progeny continues to grow. Her most notable daughter is the $66,000 high selling female from the Homecoming 2021 Speckle Park Sale and 2021 Speckle Park Miss World female ‘Greenwood Jealousy 83J’. Without a doubt 154B is quickly becoming one of the most consistent producers in the breed as she works with every sire put over her. She stands on a big square foot, carrying extra spring of rib and a perfectly level udder. Mated to the exciting American AI sire, 524C will boost the ROI and value of this mating as his semen quantities are limited and in high demand. He is has the genotype to go along with his phenotype as he is backed by world renowned sires take your program to the next level or cash in on big time ET calves!
Dam: Homo polled. Homo Black. Myostatin non-carrier. Sire: Homo polled. Homo Black. Myostatin carrier. Chanel 6C had some of the high selling embryos in last year’s New Year’s Resolution Sale – all breeds. Same brood donor cow, but a different twist with a rare outcross sire whose semen traded for $1,100/dose in the 2022 CSPA Frozen Sale. We have spent several years proving the 6C donor cow with natural offspring that are pictured here for reference. Doesn’t seem to matter the sire joining, her offspring reach the top of the keeper pen and ring the bell at our production sales. Very excited to see what this combination can create and the positive ROI for the buyer. Thanks in advance for your consideration!
is the dam of KFC Goliath 10G that went to Denver in 2021. She is a big bodied fertile cow with some different genetics that has worked well here for us. These are full sib embryos to two of the heifer calves in our show string this fall - both receiving reserve champion sr heifer calf at Stockade Roundup and Farmfair international. They are arguably two of the best heifer calves we’ve raised yet and are very excited about their future.
Here is a rare opportunity to select from a unique group of heifer calves that we feel will have a major impact on any program in the country. We had 8 embryo transplant heifer calves in our 2022 calf crop sired by SCX Jehu 233E out of our leading donor females. We are offering you a choice of this elite group of heifer calves with the option of purchasing 1/2 interest in your pick and the heifer will remain at McLeod Livestock or you can double your bid and take 100% ownership in the heifer of your choice. The choice of the heifers must be made prior to June 1, 2023. McLeod Livestock will breed and preg check the heifers prior to your selection. If you decide to take 100% ownership of one of the heifers, McLeod The dam’s of these heifer calves are the who’s who of the McLeod Livestock Donor program. They include: PZC TR Desirae 012, 2015 Agribition Supreme Champion Female, her $30,000 high selling daughter, CML Desirae 946G and CML Desirae 971G, a Canadian National Show Division winning daughter of RBM Fargo Y111. CML Jewel 889F, the dam of the $25,000

When we were approached about putting something exclusive in this sale, we knew it had to involve this cow. She’s always been this incredibly attractive female that’s had a certain class and elegance about her. She’s good footed, rocket fronted, big bodied, strong topped and beautiful on the move. We showed her at Agribition as a yearling, where she won her class and was Reserve in the Charolais division of the First Lady. Then, we kicked pen. Her second calf, by LT Ransom, was in our bull sale, we retained semen on him and used him heavily in our own heifer pen. Her son from this year, ONL Signal Hill 66K, will be a bull sale headliner for our 2023 sale. We pulled her out of the herd and back into the showring this year. As a pair, 66K and 3F were Champion Mature Cow/Calf at both Olds and Agribition, the only shows they attended. Smooch attracted a lot of positive attention while on the show road. Smooch comes from one of our most predictable and successful cow families – a cow family that had two Reserve National Champions, on each side of the border in the same year. Here’s an herself to be a great mama cow! Follow us on Facebook at Daines Cattle and O’Neill Livestock, to see more pictures of Smooch and the cow family. Flush to be completed at Davis-Rairdan, guaranteeing 6 embryos with we have semen on, including WGD Ruger 8J, our 2022 bull sale high seller and recent Reserve Champion Bull
Charolais breed. Pretty Lady hit it out of the park in 2021 when she raised the Canadian high selling yearling bull Elder’s Houlio 4H who created a lot of buzz around the Charolais world and when it was all settled commanded $110,000 for half interest to the Lindskov operation in South Dakota. The mating to the up
It is with great excitement that we offer you 3 eggs off the most exciting donor cow we may have ever raised and sired by the popular Carbon Copy. Carbon Copy was the 2019 Naile and 2020 NWSS grand champion charolais bull who has bred true to his type and kind in Canada and in the United States. We ourselves haven’t put any eggs in yet but we wanted to offer our very best for this one of a kind sale. 502C is exactly what we try to raise, a powerful female with a look and build that is hard to replicate. Daughters off 502C are quickly becoming some of our best cows. Raising high selling bull calves and females that will leave their mark. Cows at our place have to earn their way into the donor pen and 502C got there faster than any other female we have had before. There hasn’t been a mating 502C hasn’t hit out of the park yet. Good cows raise good calves but great cows out produce themselves and 502C does just that year after year. We have a son working in
Whether you want to raise productive females with a look or herd bulls with a purpose these eggs are a step in the right direction.
The newest member of our Donor pen who is climbing the ranks in a hurry is 144D. Her ability to make dark red show heifers that turn into powerful cows is now expected rather Armitage. Her following natural calf was the 2021 FarmFair reserve champion limo female that resulted in the 2022 FarmFair Champion Limousin Female and a pen full of stout, powerhouse bull calves. This cow offers a pedigree twist and the mating to Bubba Watson is exclusive and rare. We plan to build a cow family around 144D and she’s proving she has the ability to do so. Get in early!
It wouldn’t be New Years without a set of Wisteria Lane embryos up for grabs. If you want to talk about fertility she successfully produced embryos for over 10 years while mixing in raising her natural calves before we lost her this summer. She’s our number one income cow and one we feel likely won’t go out of style as it doesn’t matter what we mate her exclusive Shift bull who is the only Homo Polled son of the Supreme champion female, Ally. The genetic matchup here needs little introduction, the possibilities are endless, and I think this could be one of the best matings ever on Wisteria Lane 40W.
A very unique opportunity to claim one off the top of our entire program. We are very excited with the quality and genetic potential with this years group on offer. With no other females sold this year, this will be the exclusive opportunity to jump into the forefront of our 35H & Sheriff 900G calves on the ground. We invite anyone interested in the offering to come tour the group at the farm anytime. Pick to be prior to March 1 2023.
Homozygous Polled. When the Bohrson group reached out to us looking for a top end bull calf to consign for the NYR sale, the choice was made quick and easy. 25K is the calf we have watched closely all along since he hit the ground. Smooth and extended through that from end, big topped , pile of hip and the structure to match. The combination of Genesis pedigree of this guy, you will soon appreciate the long proven genetics Brave comes along with, his grand dam 22X has been our most proven producer and has left her print with offspring across the country to some of the most reputable and respected breeders in the industry. Terms to be announced. Inquire with any of us or BMS Staff.
Homozygous polled. 132B needs no introduction, as an $18,000 high seller in the Harvie Ranching Hereford herd dispersal sale. Her phenotype is very unique for the Hereford breed; a big, powerful design, extremely sound structure with a big, good foot, yet very maternal and cowy in her presence. She adds performance, power and great structure into everything she makes. Her daughters have recently been successful this summer and fall; Calf Champion at the CJHA Bonanza for Rebecca Hess, and Reserve Futurity Champion at Hereford Showcase for Harvie Ranching. A son was Sr. Champion Bull calf at Agribition 2019 for the Harvie’s, and her daughter was also a high selling heifer calf in their dispersal. We are expecting calves out of Long Range and 028X this upcoming spring that we are off 132B averaged $2000 in Harvie Ranching dispersal and her daughter sold for $24,500 will take place at Peak Veterinary Health, Moose Jaw, SK.
We can’t say enough good things about this female. We purchased her from Blairs.Ag and could not be more pleased. She is a powerful female with tones of volume and capacity, very bold sprung but feminine in her appearance. She is production, raising a high end Truman daughter that sold to Haroldson’s and First Class and in 2020 raising one of the best All In bull calves to date, RSK SCK 7165 Double Down 30H. He went on to be our high seller in the 2021 RSK Farms Elite Genetics Bull Sale at $39000 for 1/2 to Wooden Shoe and 4 Taylors. This also made him the Canadian all ET 91H. He is sired by none other than NJW 79Z Z311Endure 173D ET and out of the Next Gen Riesling 295 ET donor who was the 2016 CWA Champion Junior Female and CWA Reserve Champion Female! Her progeny has been topping sales and dominating in the show ring and sales! Command has played a major role in the RSK breeding program siring tremendous, top quality offspring. The second group on offer is to our calving ease herdsire from the NJW program, NJW 139C 181F Balance 207H. We feel that Balance 207H not only checks many boxes we wanted, but also gave us a very clean made. His dam is a never miss producer and rising star in the NJW program! Balance has a actual BW of 86lbs, adj WW of 713lbs and adj YW of 1170lbs indexing an amazing 107 and 110 respectively. He boasted an exceptional 38cm scrotal as a yearling and a very excellent set of EPD’s. He is double bred Ribeye R117 and Homo-Polled, adding to
extraordinary breeding tool that he is.
you’re looking for royalty in Hereford genetics take a look at this cross. Ms Digby 2G, a cow with impressive genetics on both sides, both her dam and sire are CWA supreme
Hereford female at the IPE along with her heifer calf PF Elsie 12K. 2G is a big, stout, easy doing, maternal cow. Crossed with Haroldson’s United 36G, a bull who gained attention in every breed at 2019 CWA and went on to be slapped Champion bull at the Cattlemen’s Congress in 2021. An exciting cross!
OPTION 1 - Utilize the bms industry-leading order buying services.
Contact a Bohrson Marketing member and we will bid for you in a professional and confidential manner.
OPTION 2 - Bid online with www.DLMS.ca
- First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. (please note due to some of the text notification features the FarmGate Time Auction Site requires a new account separate account from your DLMS Live sale site)
- After you create your FarmGate account you will receive a txt message with a pin code to verify your account.
- On your first log in to FarmGate Timed auctions we recommend you go to your profile and confirm your notifications are set to YES. This allows the site to send you text and/or email notifications when you are out bid and if there is activity on your favourite lots.
Now that you are logged in and your account phone number / email is verified you are able to bid on an upcoming sale. Simply find the lot you are interested in bidding on. After you have found the lot there are 2 options for bidding on the lot.
- Place Next Bid – to place the next bid on the item, you see the amount in the first box, you simply click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed.
- Max Bid Amount – to place a max bid you put your max bid in the second box listed as “Max Bid” on the item, and then click the “Place Bid” button and after you review the bid and agree to the terms and conditions your bid will be placed as the next bid. With the Max Bid placed the computer will then keep you as the high bidder to the max amount you have placed. This can be a great feature if you are not able to give 100% attention to the sale close out and protect your interest so you do not miss out on any lots you want to purchase. The Max Bid amount is completely confidential from the seller during the sale process.
Example of How the Max Bid Works - If the lot has a $2000 bid on it and you place a proxy bid of $3500 into the system, the computer will bid $2100 for you but if some one else bids $2200, the computer will again bid for you, this time at $2300. The system will look after your interest to a maximum of $3500. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest. Please note that in some cases a lot value can change very quickly if 2 max bids are placed on the same lot competing against each other.
If you have items in multiple auctions or only a few from the same auction that you want to watch with out having to scroll through the entire list you can add the lots to your watchlist. On each lot you will see the “eye” button beside the bid button, by clicking this “watchlist” Icon that item is added to your personal watchlist for easy viewing of just your favorite lots in this sale or on the entire site.
Racehorse style sale close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone in to extended bidding.
HOW WILL EXTENDED BIDDING WORKS? When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less than 5 min on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.
BIDDING CLOSE & FOLLOW-UP
After the clock has gone to “ENDED” and no bidding has occurred for 5 min the computer will declare the sale finished. Following the close typically within 24 hours of the sale close the sale consignor will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/Pick up of your lot. Or as the winning bidding you can contact the sale consignor / sale manager to confirm payment instructions.
- Please make sure that your account info is up-to-date and correct if you are the winning bidder of a lot as this is how the billing is sent to Sale manager and/or Sale consignor.

born in Indian River at IRCC/Elm-Lodge. 200 years of Elmhirsts have raised livestock on the home farm where the most recent generations have derived their sole income from the 180 cowherd of Simmental, Hereford and Angus females in the purebred cattle industry. The same time are elite in their structure with extra tangibles like balance and class to allow our genetics to compete at the highest level. The success of our breeding program has never been more evident as it is at this very moment in time. This past show season was a highlight of Elmhirst genetics across Canada with Champions from PEI to BC and many points in between sired by or mothered by an IRCC/Elmlodge breeding piece. The 100th Anniversary of the Royal Winter Fair was an absolute showcase of our breeding program with incredible results from a huge contingent from Indian River including the Supreme Champion Bull. An extra special note would of course have to be the impact a cow named ‘IRCC Darlin 613D’ has made in a very short time in the Simmental breed as a consistently dominant breeding machine. That same cow’s presence in our 2023 calf crop is just one reason we eagerly anticipate the next few months in the calving barn. With both the Simmental and Hereford Canadian Junior shows in eastern Canada and Angus the year after, we would look forward to and gladly have this pick ready for those junior shows… or for those young at heart that same opportunity for glory is available at majors shows next fall. 2023 will be the biggest, most anticipated and futuristic calf crop ever created by the Elmhirst family and we sincerely believe the opportunity presented in this ‘Pick of the Crop’ lot, will be one that can positively impact the purebred industry for years to come.
One of our absolute favourites in our young donor pen would be this phenotypic marvel in Linda 9563G. We believe she has a bright future and a pile of breeding capabilities. Her added length, extension and sound fundamental package has slotted her to be one of our go to black donors. We believe you could mate her to a loose hided, soggy beef bull or a more
kind to click with an array of different sires and we are excited to hear who the successful purchaser decides to use on her. Her mating to the Angus stud, Glacier 041, is the absolute best we believe we can possibly offer for SimAngus genetics and believe this mating could result in some of the most sought after cattle and genetics made available. Successful
If you walked into a pen of 20 young cows, Princess would for sure be spotted 9 times out of 10 as her unique blend of power and elegance makes her hard to miss. When you talk about a wedge shaped female well. Her mating to the powerful, outcross, blaze faced No Limits, could be just the ticket as he will keep up the structural integrity already built into this donor female. The unique Heavy Hitter was utilized to incorporate some different genetics with more heavy emphasis on maternal quality and the highly productive cow power in his lineage have some very impressive herd bulls on the resume. If you are looking to make the next great show prospect, we believe the mating
JSUL Something About Mary
the added extension and eye appeal to be very competitive in a show setting, but will still make productive cattle down the road. We think the options are endless on this female and the different ways you could mate her, either Simmental or Angus
A female that has really come into her own in terms of production the last couple years as Livestock in the fall of 2021 where 4 heifers calves grossed over $130,000. She is also the dam to one or the most popular bull calves from the 2022 show season, Deeg/C-D Liberty 60K. 248D is an attractive cow with great foot and udder quality, a stout hip, a big barrel all with an attractive look. Her mating to Dynasty will be closely related to the Capacity daughters that were so well received in 2021 and believe this is a no guess work type mating. 248D is hetero black and think the possibility to get a red white face calf by the $200,000 Loyalty would be extremely neat. Loyalty was a spring 2022 favourite for his outcross pedigree, dark complexion, hair and added bonus white face.
revenue donor, CMS Soda Pop 425B. A past National Champion Female, Soda has been the most consistent donor we own for making extremely high quality progeny to a wide variety of sires. To date, we have sold six direct daughters off 425B to average just under $34 000. This mating to the 2021 Reserve Champion Simmental Bull at the Cattlemen’s build, and attractive look should complement 425B’s overwhelming power and muscle, to produce blazed face heifer’s that should excel both in the show/sale ring and production. Double Up’s dam is a past Kansas City Supreme Champion Junior Female, and has since become one of the best females in the strong donor battery of JS Simmentals of Iowa. These embryos will be some of advantage of this unique opportunity!
827F has been everything we had hoped for when we joined forces with SIBL Simmentals and Rainbow Red Angus, to take her home as the high selling open heifer in the 2018 Friday Night Lights Sale, from Rancier Farms. She was a foundation female we knew wanted to build around and until now we have kept every bull, heifer and embryo she’s produced for us, and they have not disappointed. She stamps her calves just as you’d expect with a ton of power, tremendous width, as well as impeccable foot quality. For what we are looking for in a cow, I don’t think you could make one much better. Currently she lives in a group with a couple hundred commercial cows and the most impressive thing about her is she’s probably the easiest keeping one out there, true to the Flirt family name. The mating to the exclusive $160,000 R Plus Mandate should be a nice compliment. Mandate was impressive in his own right, particularly on the move, and just like 827F was notable for having remarkable foot quality. The softness of True North should cross extremely well based on what we’ve seen so far, not to mention doubling down on that structural soundness and maternal greatness. All of these matings have us pretty excited.
One of the best breeding donors in existence would certainly have to be RF Not Just A Flirt 404B who continues to crank them out. Most recently, her son RF Caliber 014G commanded $150,000 and is one of the most exciting bulls in the industry. She has also produced the $65,000 RF/Rust Stimulus 610D, $62,000 RF/Rust Flirt 827F, $28,000 Rust Hydro 8F and $16,500 RF/Rust Backdraft 981G. She continues to keep on cranking them out after her successful show career where she was Supreme Grand Champion Female at FarmFair & Agribition beside her famous dam, RF Certainly Flirtin 202Z. These matings are the most current and exciting in the industry and we truly feel they’ll have a lasting impression on the industry for years on end.
Full and maternal sib embryos to the record setting and high
Simmental Bred Heifer of all time in Canada, the $92,000 1/2 interest Mader Violet 49H. She has been one of the most dominant show breds and she comes by it honestly as her dam, LFE Violet 641A is a true great one. Violet 641A was a many time Champion Female herself that is awesome footed, great udder, sound structured and combines that with excess stoutness, muscle shape, natural depth of body while still being upheaded
is
after year and one that is hard to knock a hole in.
balanced, awesome udder, great footed female that is overwhelming in terms of stoutness, muscle shape and natural depth of body. Her granddam LFE Shiela is none other than the past Farmfair and Agribition Champion Simmental female, who has also been a very highly marketable donor cow. Mated with the $110,00 SVS Rancher we thought it would be a truly exciting matchup, as you are adding another great cow family to the equation, HTLS Sammie. Sammie has proven to be one the very best red donors in the breed raising very new red bulls on the market makes this mating nothing but exciting!!
A female we hold in high regard as our new up and coming donor female. Stout made with great feet, awesome udder and the real maternal, cow look we love to see around here. 51D has knocked it out of the park on every natural calf thus warranted her a spot in our donor pen. She is exactly the type we wish to duplicate to infuse her added depth and dimension all while remaining attractive and extended. Her mating to the now deceased, exclusive, $47,000 Hannibal bull is truly exciting and we feel these two special individuals will compliment each other perfectly.
An exciting opportunity arose this past fall to buy into the tried and tested Elegant Force donor, so we jumped at it with excitement. She of course is the dam of the crowd favourite yearling heifer campaigned last fall by Ty-D Livestock, who ended up being named the Reserve Champion Female at Agribition. Later on, she commanded a $54 000 price tag for half interest, to become the second daughter of Elegant Force to be valued at over $100 000. Her mating to the most winning bull calf on the 2021 fall show run and $102 000 high seller is unique to say the least. His combination of muscle, softness, and structural integrity should make this white-faced mating a home run no matter the sex!
IRCC Foxtrot is the $62 000 valued female we acquired alongside our friends at Greenwood. Phenotypically, she is so ideal in so many ways. Big, square foot, great udder, awesome looking, and a bold rib shape that reads with cow power. If you know or have ever talked to Billy Elmhirst, or ever watched one of their sales, you’ll know how accomplishment’s, and the reason we acquired semen on him to try and replicate the maternal quality we see in 862F. We are more than excited about the powerful ET mating’s that we have due in 2023, so we thought it was time to share some of her inventory. This mating to the $150 000 Caliber is sure to be a home run, as his rookie calf crop has family, and Foxtrot’s unmatched phenotype, a blazed faced heifer calf might just be the ticket to a big time ROI.
You would almost think D308 was one of our best kept secrets, however the only reason she has maybe been one of our more quiet, very good looking donors is solely on the fact she’s a little stingy on sharing her embryos! We wish D308 was a little more generous on giving some embryos, however you can’t have it all and past that, we believe she does! Big strong foot, lots of bone, great bodied with a track stopping look. We found Lady in Denver where she was one of the high sellers in the NWSS sale. We mated her to the natural shape and muscle. Her mating to the $280,000 Walk The Line has us very excited as he is one of the most talked about bulls in the last decade and one we believe has a world of breeding potential ahead of him. Caliber was an obvious choice to utilize on this black donor as he is one of our go to sires that’s going to have a huge impact on the North American beef industry going forward.
Bombshell was the high selling female from Quality Control l where she was selected from the Indian River program alongside Rancier Farms. We wanted to incorporate her sound structure, muscle pattern as well as her extra style and presence. Bombshell is the type of female you can add a bunch of power and jam to and the result will always appeal. If your into showing livestock and then kicking them out to the real world afterwards, we think the S.A.M mating will do just that as he has been a breeding sensation with many show champions across North America advantage as he is mothered by one of thee hottest donors in the beef industry, Darlin’ 613D, and was admired all of fall 2021 as one of the best bulls people had seen in decades. Take advantage of these great matings from this beautiful, blazed face donor.
It’s certainly not in our nature to select favourites, but if you held us at gun point and said to pick one, there’s pretty high odds Mollydooker 34C would be many of our personal picks. is one we don’t think you can tweak and her combination of power and look and extension is commendable. Add in the fact she’s a black baldy and we feel it’s a total package. Her matings to the $280,000 Mader Walk The Line 92J, is truly exciting as these are exclusive genetics from one of the most talked about bulls out of one of the most talked about cow families in the entire industry in the last decade. We feel when you factor in WTL’s length, power, muscle, bone and over-all look, the combination could be absolutely lights out. The same is to be said with the mating to the $110,000 Rancher as you factor in one more big time cow with Sammie into the mix. As well as the $130,000 Supercharged with 202Z into the equation. You’ll wanna keep the daughters or utilize the sons that comes
Homozygous Polled. Homozygous Black. SRH Precious 73A is the popular dam of the $47,000 Hannibal that sold to R Plus & Canadian Sires this past spring. She is one of Handford’s most productive daughters from their old donor, Chyna who currently has 44 calves registered. Hannibal isn’t SRH Precious 73A only success story as she also produced SRH Patriot to Springer Simmentals and Mineral Mountain Cattle Company. She is a moderate, deep bodied cow, stout made donor with good feet and strong structured as she moves around effortlessly like a cow half her age. The embryos on hand are mated successful buyers.
Since acquiring Brooke last winter, the opportunity is now for us to be on the selling end of her genetics. Her track record speaks for itself with the production of the high selling female in the Motive Event, a half blood female to South Paw and Miller’s. A high seller in last years FNL to Maxwell and Sunrise, a high selling Simmental bull in the 2022 Blair’s bull sale. Multiple banners have been hung by progeny and grand progeny as well. As we now have 2 daughters in our own herd, we see the value of a true matriarch she injects into her offspring. We are excited to share both Caliber’s and Betts eggs, the Betts being full sibs
Homozygous Polled. Erixon Pocahontas 126F herself combines two of the most name and has been a privilege to own and has taken us on a heck of a cool ride. She is a matriarch of the breed and has surpassed half a million in progeny sales. 126F is a new and upcoming donor in our program that has earned her right to sit in our donor pen. This year she has cranked out the interesting dark red breeding piece, Erixon Medicine Man 81K. We think that this mating has huge potential as three of the greatest cows in the Simmental industry are stacked into one pedigree.
79C embryos) and her 2019 sons grossed another $62,000 in the 2020 Next Generation sale. Her embryo progeny have gone out to work for the programs that have invested in her genetics, including a $10,500 son at Erixon Simmentals. Her dam, 202Z is arguably the most dominant cow in the entire breed as she has produced in excess of $700,000 in sales and continues to produce the most sought after progeny. The Flirt cow family has quality, name recognition, and marketability and 532C provides all of that in an ideal red package - she is beautifully designed and is near impossible to fault as a picture perfect donor to build around. The matings on offer represent some of the newest and best genetics in the breed.
she has evolved into an incredible breeding piece that knocks them out each and every time, no matter how she is bred. She has surpassed a half a million dollars in progeny sales for all that have marketed her progeny. Most notable sons would be the $120,000 Betts that calf crop looks incredibly good. The embryo matings are a license to print money as they’re exclusive sires and it is a great opportunity to advance your program. The matings she carries here are the best we have made to date and we feel have unreal amounts of future,
SVJ She’s The Dream B796 is $100,000 donor and the many time champion herself and champion producer. Most noted, her daughter JSUL Dream Big 8992F was dominate on the show road and was a two-time Grand Champion at the NAILE in Louisville, Denver NWSS Junior Show, Fort Worth and so many more for Sara Sullivan. B796 has produced countless high sellers on top and we are excited to have a donor of this magnitude in our line-up. More recently, her daughter were successfully shown by Thomas & Gracie Bohrson throughout the summer of 2022 with many banners to display after their popular run. B796 is an absolute tank of a female to lay eyes on and is one that is so easy on the eyes with her softness, boldness and attractiveness. We feel she combines all the great attributes a high quality donor female should possess and believe when you factor in Caliber, backed by the legendary Flirt cow family, you are taking out any guess work as you are stacking on some of the most beautiful females within the breed on both sides of the resulting mating’s pedigree. Calibers body mass, stature and predictable pedigree make this a must own mating.
Crossroad Frankie 68F is our new red donor that we have big plans for and one that we 506C and HLTS Sammie. We understand that is a huge statement to put her in the same league as those 2 proven powerhouses but we feel she has all the same qualities to be exactly that. We acquired Frankie after purchasing the pick of the 2018 Calf Crop from Crossroad Farms and Frankie easily rose to the top when we considered cow family, foot quality, udder strength, performance and overall phenotype in one complete package. She was very popular during the summer 2021 tours as everyone gravitated to her for her awesome udder, strong feet, huge hip, big body, sleek front end and overall powerful wedge dimension that she displays. The matings to Walk The Line will put you ahead of the curve as this exclusive bull won’t be on the open market for a long time.
When we purchased MAF Montana 301D we knew she was destined for the donor pen in the spring. Always a favourite of ours, she produced the high selling bred heifer for $30,000 to Six Mile & Walsh and another high selling open heifer calf for $13,000 to Crossroad Farms in the dispersal and has an impressive Tycoon bull calf this year. She is powerful, long bodied, capacious, and excellent footed. She consistently adds extra extension and presence to her offspring. She is a fall born Red Rocket daughter that hails from the Montana cow family, going back to the original Red Label female that was a very consistent producer. These females have been a strong producing and were extremely popular in the Meadow Acres Dispersal for their style, rib shape and udder quality. The mating to Rancher was an easy heavy use here again this spring. His progeny are dark red, long bodied, excellent footed, progeny that are designed to work in any operation with performance and style.
Scream 215Z is one of the highest revenue raising donors as she has produced over $400,000 in progeny and embryo sales to date. She was special from a young age and began her show career as Division Champion and then went on to be Reserve Grand Champion Female at Agribition and later sold as the Friday Night Lights high seller at $36,000. Her progeny speak for themselves and one of the great breeding bulls in the breed would be BGS/BM Captain Scream 63D went on to be one of the most winningest bulls in Canadian history including Grand Champion Bull at Agribtion, FarmFair and Supreme Champion at Lloydminster and PA-Ex. RF Scream 215Z has produced other progeny that seek $30,000, $20,000, $15,000, $15,000, $11,000 and $11,000 with full sib embryos bringing $4,000/embryo. Her most prized daughter may just be the incredible RF Scream 974G that is one of the most dominant show females for Kade Rancier, Rancier Farms and she is one of the best up-and-coming simmental females in the breed. Scream 215Z has a special spot in our program and we are excited to offer her genetics to the industry.
The red blazed face donor you simply cannot miss no matter what time of the year is this Scream daughter with all the bells and whistles. Moderate framed, boldly constructed and as stout as you can make one. We really anticipate the mating by WTL to add length and frame and keep the style, bone mass and stoutness in check while adding one more great cow family to the mix with the potent Darlin’ 613D. The Rancher progeny have been exactly as expected with his loose hided, soft made, soggy build while still remaining up headed and attractive with a large impressive foot and we believe his attributes will be a welcome time cow with the gorgeous Sammie donor on his bottom side.
Some extremely exciting red matings on offer here by some of the freshest genetics available. 15F is a model Simmental female with udder quality and strong feet at the absolute forefront of her attributes. Her dark red complexion, coupled with her soft made look with a big broad pin set, make her the type of donor female we love to have at our disposal. 15F has worlds of future and after a couple bumps in the road with tough luck on natural born calves, you will hear a lot more about her as we feel she is on the brink of making that next big time herd bull or future donor. The mating to the $165,000 Mandate may just be the mating that elevates this donor to stardom as she has all the important assets to mate with a bull of that caliber to make a special one.
The Dakota Rose Family has put all the pieces together and continues to crank out highly productive cattle including our very own Farm Fair Supreme Champion Bull, Harvie Red Summit 54B. We believe so highly in this family, including our most recent red blazed face donor cow Harvie Crest Dakota Rose 119H. Although this female is young, she has already turned into a highly productive female as all 4 embryo transplant calves came to the top of our pen. Two outstanding herdsire prospects along with two beautiful heifer calves; both heifer calves were selected for Friday Night Lights Sale. With the consistency these embryo calves have shown, we’re sure they will provide a high return on investment. Dakota Rose 119H’s sire Crosby is one of those sires that continue to produce functional
or foundation female, here is a great chance to do just that!
Simply put, one of our most exciting matings born in 2022 that have already found some some full sibs! Oattes Sinful Flirt 55F was the YCSA Junior National Champion in 2019 and has only exceeded expectations in production, with a baldy daughter already being named RAWF National Junior Heifer Calf Champion and Champion Female at the Fall Finale that has garnered a lot of attention, while another has sold to Jordan Phillips in Ontario who is sure to be competitive on the show road in 2023! These full sibling embryos are by the sire of champions, W/C Relentless 32C and stem from the famous Flirtin for Certain 37U, so genetic predictability and marketing value is already built-in to these show-stopping genetics!
Miss R Plus 9163G rose to the top of one of the very best females that were selected from the highly respected R Plus program. She is a prime example of what the R Plus program has built around and why they have been so successful over the years. This great footed, strong udder, sound structure and fault free female raised a top end heifer calf at side this year and it is a great sign for things to come. Her sire, 5015C is also the sire of the $150,000 Yuma that has taken the breed by storm and semen brought $1,000+ per dose. Her dam, is a top female at R Plus with longevity and maternal strength on her side with a true outcross pedigree. The mating to the $280,000 Walk The Line will be a big time cross and you’ll be ahead of the curve by investing in these as they are sure to be highly sought after genetics. They are sure to be top end calves and have the maternally stacked
The buzz of 2021 was certainly Walk the Line as he had a decorated show career winning many Beef supreme at Farm Fair. His unmatched presence, length of body, muscular build with great feet who has become a potent breeding piece no matter how she is mated. Her mating to the popular, fundamentally sound Walk This Way proved to be a big time success after WTL commanded $280,000 and his full sister heifer calf brought $60,000 moments later. Over the last year WTL had matured into a soggy, rugged herd bull that is tanky and still extremely good looking with a real herd bull head and crest to him. We know with his proven and predictable pedigree, WTL will cut a huge swath not only in the Simmental industry, but the entire beef industry. Utilize Walk The Line to get yourself recognized in both the show and sale ring, or also just make big time, functional cattle that go on to be productive for years to come. No matter what your program or what your goals may be, we strongly believe WTL has all the credentials to help you do so in a huge way.

Wide based, sound made with a real herd bull presence in this junior sire that will have a lot to offer the Simmental data base.
The moment we laid eyes on Loyalty the summer of 2021 on grass as a bull calf we knew he would be an exceptional herd bull that would have a lot to offer the industry. The $200,000 herd bull is a special one combining beautiful, dark red hair with a perfect blaze, big strong foot, bone shape, softness and over all eye appeal. Backed by a beautiful
impressive from behind with a broad top, wide pin set and tonnes of muscle down into his lower quarter. Loyalty will moderate frame and add eye appeal while keeping all the proper fundamentals in check.
spring sale in 2022 where many astute cattleman came to admire the positive attributes the pair of brothers possessed. Redwood is a big statured, stout made power bull with added substance, depth, length and herd bull presence. We really like the foot and leg underneath him and love his dark, thick hair coat. Redwood will play a part in our breeding program moving forward as we wish to infuse more of his power and performance while
Brooks has certainly become a household name within the Simmental industry and has without a doubt gained more and more popularity the older he’s gotten and the more his across North America either directly or from his popular son Tycoon 841F. The Brooks sons are rugged beef bulls that are consistently soft made, long and smooth with great muscle expression and strong feet. His daughters at all stages of life are eye catching with their strong maternal look, added depth and rib shape and great udders. They have become exceptional mother cows that always can be count on to bring in a great one. We feel Brooks is the type of herdbull that never goes out of style and can be used with the utmost
An absolute treasure that we lost far too early in life is the breeding sensation, Tycoon 841F whose been used so successfully across North America consistently breeding sound made beef cattle that are chalked full of power and presence. Annually Tycoon makes them dark red, thick haired and soft made with a real functional look to them. Tycoon cattle are as predictable as maybe any sire group we annually analyze as you can bet they will have very good, dark feet with extra shape and added appeal. The Tycoon daughters are functional with great udders and are rising to be some of the best cows from a production in bull pens for the added length, frame and payweight they possess. Arguably Tycoons greatest accomplishment is the $110,000 Rancher 42H bull whose following right in his footsteps and we feel this is a testament to Tycoons ability to out breed himself every year, a huge statement for how highly we think of Tycoon 841F.
After travelling many kilometers up and down the road looking for a new heifer bull for our red program, I landed at Perkin Land and Cattle and found a bull that I felt had everything we needed. His smooth lines, extra length, perfect feet and his beautiful parents along with a perfect blaze made him an easy choice. Unfortunately, Red Wolf was injured during that he would heal enough to breed again but at the beginning of the following breeding season it was apparent that he would be unable to breed naturally. At this point we decided that his limited offspring were of the quality that we would try collecting semen. One of these offspring, BEE Alpha 915J, sold for an outstanding $120,000 to Red Top Livestock, Ashworth Farm and Ranch and Nick Jenkins. We AI’ed several commercial heifers and they all calved extremely well.
Limitless is one of those bulls that’s standing to stand the test of time as we are seeing more and more of his daughters hit production and become the beautiful young cows they are. Limitless has certainly gained more popularity as we see this and it’s obvious why. He is ability to sire low birth progeny that come east and grow with ample performance is impressive while the sons are good looking and stout beef bulls and the daughters are beautiful lined, attractive females. Limitless has recently been the sire to some of the most dominating calves along side young cows like the $55,000 BGS Miss Soda Pop 90G female as well as the very popular Twin Springs Darlin’ 3K heifer calf that was campaigned so successfully this past fall and sells at the 2022 Friday Night Lights. Limitless is deceased and his inventory is small, but we believe his value as a breeding sire is as evident now as ever before.
The rookie calf crop on the $161,000 Reddington herd bull is all it has been cracked up to be as this real world beef bull has bred on his extra dimension, soft made, bold sprung look with added hair and style to burn. Reddington has been used with great success by those who purchased exclusive packs and the reports are his progeny will highlight many bull pens across the country in the spring of 2023. His daughters are equally as impressive where the one and only to ever be offered by auction commanded $14,000 as a nine-month old calf. These cattle are built for the long haul and suited for the real world and believe the

black blaze Yuma son the industry was looking for was located when RF No Limits hit the scene in the spring of 2022. To see a bull with as much natural depth of body and Stepping Stone dam, it sealed the deal and we knew we needed to get him bought. His dam is everything a big time herd bulls mother should be with a perfect udder, great foot and big time phenotype. We believe No Limits has a bright future and will be a big time
The sire of sires as R Plus Yuma 9087G has produced excellent raising top sellers wherever he was utilized including a $165,000 son at R Plus, $90,000 son at Rancier and $40,000 son at Maxwell. His full sister at R Plus Disperal has created a tonne of interest and is one of the feature lots to sell in 2022, this is a pedigree that has decades of marketability ahead of it. He was the lead off, and high selling bull of R Plus’ spring bull sale in 2020 and brought an amazing $150,000 when the hammer went down, selling to LaBatte Simmentals and Circle 7 Ranch with Rancier Farms and Maxwell Simmentals buying into him after the sale. That same day, his maternal sister was purchased by Meadow Acres Simmentals for $30,000 and later sold int heir dispersal for $38,000. We believe Yuma is going to be one of the breed’s greats in years to come. He’s so deep, soft made, and has is a great opportunity to buy into one of the elite bulls of the breed that proves to work everywhere he is utilized.
bull that has take the breed by storm. Here is your chance
Shakedown was the black herd bull backed by a tremendous donor female we were on the hunt for in the spring of 2020 when he commanded $70,000 right behind his paternal brother, Caliber. Shakedown is a true beef bull as he is soft made, bold ribbed, stout hipped with exceptional running gear underneath him. He obtained his sires extra length and added good looks with his proud, herd bull presence. We love the masculine crest and skull crop of sons and they highlight our bull sale in late December. A son at Mader Ranches made a pile of friends this fall where he won the all breeds Legends of the Fall bull calf jackpot at Farm Fair and was reserve over all breeds at Agribition in the Presidents Classic. Shakedowns rookie crop of daughters show the same attributes the donor dams on both sides of his own pedigree. Maternal females that are beautiful fronted, extended, stout made with lots of shape and gorgeous teat placement. We think Shakedown is a big time sire that has the potential to make a huge impact on the breed and can help elevate your program.

Simmental industry the last decade. Pokerface has been notorious for creating big volume, high a phenotype perspective. They are annually great uddered, strong footed females that you wish you had more of. The Pokerface sons are always easy to market as they are made right, are attractive and great haired. More times than not, Pokerface always puts the strong blaze into his topping and show winning accolades from his progeny, but we would be remiss to not mention the daughters of Pokerface have generated income the last half a dozen years as I guarantee you it would be in the million dollar range. Again, that is just one believe he is a bull that has endless breeding possibilities.

Calf reports on this exciting young herd sire have been nothing short of exciting! South about his sons creating quite some excitement. Hartman’s have a feature son in their Denver pen this fall, with Countertimes full sister producing another high quality son right behind him. His small but impressive calf crops in Canada at both Black Gold and Lewis Farms have us awfully excited, with progeny of both sexes being among the top of their pens. Ask Kyle Lewis what he thinks of their progeny. ES Right Time is one of the best footed sires to walk at CK Cattle, and is known to produce daughters that excel in their teat and udder quality. Countertime’s dam and full sister are near perfect in their udder design, and have made front pasture females after their successful show careers. It’s this bulls ability to combine real world power, mass, and testicle development with a more outcross pedigree and awesome cow family that intrigued us, and we still believe that this guy is just getting started. This will be the only semen sold for the 2023 breeding season.

Backed by a beautiful donor female that has won as many ribbons south of the border as the next one that ultimately grew into a production powerhouse, SAM is the absolute show cattle maker that’s sires cattle with added look, style and substance but certainly gives up nothing in terms of production and performance. SAM daughters have been taking the show circuit by storm winning multiple divisions and championships as well as topping sales across North America. As the daughters set up to hit production, they look to carry on Proud Mary’s added rib shape, stoutness of hip and dense bone all while combing a sound structure.

Her matings to the polled, dark stud Bordeaux have us extremely excited as we think he is one of the most impressive sires we have laid eyes on in his young career and believe he has a bright future ahead of him. His muscle shape and attractive build in a sound, free moving package make us believe he will be siring highly marketable cattle for years to come. The decision to utilize Radio Active, the polled calving ease specialist with exceptional growth came as an easy one after seeing the progeny for Anchor D’s successful bull and female sales and we think the next great heifer bull or big time front
as
One of our absolute favourite donors is 748E. Talk about a female with a big time udder thats wedge shaped and good looking, 748E is your girl! Being homo polled is the absolute cherry on top here as we feel you could paint her any colour and she would still be extremely valuable. 748E is mothered by the old 54Y donor female who is still going strong and has been a production giant for Johnson Ranching. Production, longevity and predictability runs deep in this cow line. Shes mated to the exciting $41,000 Havoc

His dark red color combined with his structural correctness makes him very attractive. Then his big barrel, deep chest, wide top and huge butt makes your mouth drop. After helping Stefon video him for our bull sale and seeing his excellent temperament and solid feet I knew he was the one. With a quick phone call to our good friends Riley and Jolene Edwards of Skywest Simmentals the decision was made that we would try to bring Rumble home. The maternal greatness is stacked on both sides of his pedigree. Rumbles dam BEE Couture 663D was in the top 2 of her respective female group and her dam, Rumble’s grand dam, Eagle-Ridge Ultra 26U was a cow that never missed. Here is your chance to get a hold of something we feel is extra special!
a bit of attention. A pen leader in performance, Sugar Ray was purchased as the high seller from the Synergie Bull Sale where he combined a soft build with excellent muscle in his movement on a nice foot. We searched many years to source a polled Fleckvieh bull with the performance traits that our customers demand and his production has not disappointed. His calves lead their respective groups with muscle dimension, depth of body and strong bone structure. His daughters show tremendous promise with added mass while He has bred true to type and sired the $355000 BLL Rumble 62H and numerous high selling daughters. His dam is a broody, strong uddered young cow that is already leaving a tremendous impression on the breed and we look forward to watching Sugar Ray to leave his mark as he matures into a very impressive herd sire.
The buzz around 24J this past bull sale season was truly exciting as he is one of the most talked about horned bulls the last decade. $155,000 later, he was calling Mark Land & Cattle home. After following his donor dams early track record of producing a $24,000 bred we needed to take a serious look. Jackson is everything we look for in a true herd bull, soggy made, loose hided and big hipped with a strong set of feet and legs and of course backed by a donor quality cow. We feel Jackson has the ability to make a huge impact on the industry as he will sire high quality sons that the ranchers will love to bid on and every daughter this guy sires will immediately be put on the untouchable list!

His maternal brother , Sibelle Pol Avenger, has been sold for 18000$ to Ferme Gérard Raby last spring. Unfortunately, Darwin die at the stud just after the quarantine, so we have very few doses left. For that reason, only few calves are born every year in Canada. His progeny is very well accepted by the industry and he produce some of the high seller across Canada, male and female every year. This spring, 2 Darwin sons, Silverlake Jackson 24J and Silverlake Jenner 9J are respectively sold for 155000$ and 50000$. This fall Bisch Northriver Journey, a Darwin daugther, was the high seller of the Eastern Harvest at 17000$.

offering 50 doses of our new herdsire Panther purchased from the Carson. After studying him we knew we had to own him and that’s what we did. He turned out to be an excellent breeder for us. He will bring good calving ease and extra growth like his half borther Battle Cry who did a very good job for Black Gold Simmentals and many breeders across Canada who used him. Another special thing about this lot is the chance to own some sexed semen who
Battle Cry has proved to us and several other breeders that have used him, that he is not only just a calving ease sire, but a bull that offers extreme versatility and breeding value to a wide variety of cattle. When he sold for $60 000, we were thrilled to own him in his cows to him, and every year since our calf crop off of him seems to grow in numbers overwhelmed ourselves and several visitors. His daughters that are now milking appear to be near perfect in their teet size and shape, and we can’t wait to build our program around them. One of the best fullblood females we have ever sold was a Battle Cry daughter selling to Westgold Farms this past fall for $35 000. This will be the only chance to purchase Battle Cry semen for the 2023 breeding season.

Dark red with lots of eye pigmentation and four dark feet, he is a sound footed bull who walks very freely. Pilot is super stylish and is about as dark coloured as you can get. He is deep sided has good muscling in the rear quarter and a super disposition. His nine year old dam has raised seven January born calves in a row including the high priced Crossroad Polled Future, so good fertility and longevity in this bloodline. We had numerous calls on Pilot prior to the sale and unfortunately due to an injury had to be pulled. With a 93 lb. birth weight and C.E. EPD of 15.6 he works excellent in the heifer pen! Lots of potential here with this exclusive opportunity! Here are some of the Crossroad Pilot progeny that will be featured at sales this year.
Homozygous Polled. Full Fleckvieh. Anchor D Hefner 274H was all the buzz in last years choice of a sire that had so much to offer. First of all, Hef came back homo polled, not for pen of his quality, secondly his Barbossa dam, if you ask anyone at Anchor D about the Barbossa daughters they have in production, I’m willing to bet you they would put those cows up against any other cows on the ranch and beyond, for shear production and impressive individual whose semen has sold for up around $1,000/dose. We feel Hefner has a lot to offer as a calving ease sire, with huge maternal merit backing him.
We are very excited to be offering part of GGA Conanga 2E. Conanga is a unique breeding piece that processes an extreme amount of volume and rib shape. As a 5 year old cow she has maintained an exceptional look and level of attractiveness. While doing that she puts everything together in a very sound functional package. GGA Conanga 2E was purchased out of Power and Perfection in 2017 for $21,000 as a heifer calf. As a bred she was shown at many junior shows, with her big win that year being Reserve Champion Angus Female at Summer Synergy in 2018. She went on to breed very well for us and produced a daughter, RLF Cassie 023H that was a class winner at Agribition 2021. This summer we decided to bring Conanga out on the show road. We had great success as she was Reserve Mature Cow at Old Fall Classic and went on to be Champion Mature cow and Reserve Champion Female at Farmfair. We are very excited about the future of this proven cow and look forward to seeing what she is able to produce in the years to come. She is bred and safe to Bar-E-L Masterclass 66J, who was purchased this spring out of Longshores bull sale. We are very excited about these calves and especially being out of a cow of this quality. We feel the breeding opportunities are endless with this cow as she has never been bred the same way twice and has never missed.
The progeny we have seen out of Brooking Rose 8180 have been nothing short of impressive. The Sexed Female Density/Rose cross in particular has been our favorite thus far, producing females that are phenotypically beautiful and full of maternal power. Most recently we had a full sib sell in the 10th annual Brooking Open Book Invitational Sale, bringing $25,000 to ZWT Ranch and a maternal sib selling for $13,500 in the 2021 sale. cornerstone female.
Brooking Rose 0083 is our favourite daughter of Soo Line Rose 1019. For a young cow she is exactly the type we like. She is pretty headed, massively deep from end to end, square hip, great back leg, with a balanced weight from front to back. There have been some extremely good operations try to buy her, but we feel she is 1019’s replacement
that next step for our Rose 1019 cow family. In ways she is extremely similar to her dam but just that next step better in terms of phenotype. The sexed female embryos sire by KR Casino could be really exciting. Casino semen is very hard to come by and Canadian will become hard to acquire soon.
Brooking Rose 6067 is new to the Brooking donor arsenal and is most noted as the dam of the $60,000 Brooking Can Am 0012, owned by Montana Ranch. Brooking Rose 6067 is a productive female earning a weaning ratio of 116 on 5 progeny. Three sons have avg
Brooking Real Estate 6072. The Rose cow family is well known across the Angus world and here is one to tie into with exclusive embryos sired by the $350,000 SAV Panther. The results will be powerful, good looking, fresh pedigree, marketable along with a leading EPD prediction.
were excited to get Donna 720 bought as the high seller from Coleman’s a few years back, we really liked the foot and udder quality she possesses and her donor dam, Donna 439, is phenotypically superb. Donna 720 is none other than a full sister to one of the hottest, up and coming sires we have come across in sometime, Glacier 041. We have a trio of very exciting matings by 720 including the recent 2022 Farm Fair International Grand Champion Angus bull and Alberta Supreme Champion Bull, Rust Forged of Fire 0412. FOF is a true beef bull that’s exactly what’s needed in today industry, added length and overall scale, sound and correct phenotype, foot quality, mass and power all while backed by generations of high quality cows on both sides of his pedigree. The matings to SAV Panther 1906 could be exactly what 720 needs as his rugged, loose made build could be the perfect addition to her wedge, pear shaped design while not
choice as he combines the Madame Prides with Rose 918 and Beauty 6051.
Donna 909 is a perfect example of this. An own maternal sister to the future legend, Glacier 041 as well as our donor, Donna 720. It may not make sense to many that we bought a sister to a donor that we already have (720) but when we saw 909 and knew how good 720 was, we had to put out the big bucks to obtain her. Donna 909 was an easy selection to pull the trigger on as the guess work was taken out with the track record of her proven donor sister already in our care as well as her full brothers up and coming future. Take away the facts and 909 is still a phenotypic dream when you analyze this wedge shaped, attractive, soft made beauty. We all could use some Donna in our program and here is your opportunity to get ahold of some of her genetics mated to the high selling Schaff Angus Valley bull from 2022, the powerful stud Panther 1906 who claimed $350,00 to Voss Angus.
Beauty 0410H is just that and everything you have come to expect in this
cow family name. 0410H is a full sister to the recent Alberta Supreme Champion Bull, Forged of Fire 0412 and was our pick of the angus females from the Rust dispersal as a heifer calf. Her mating to Gateway Follow Me F163 provide an outcross pedigree to mainstream Canadian genetics. Follow Me has the ability to sire bold made, stout cattle that are still easy travelling attractive cattle that can show and ultimately make cows. We are excited for the matings by Panther as this 2022 Schaff Angus Valley bull sale highlight was held in high regard by many of the most critical cattleman for his unique combination of shear power
a breeding sensation.
Brooking Beauty 8187 sold half-interest for $47,500 to Rust Mountain View Ranch as a calf. She is an impressive female that is long fronted, good footed, huge ribbed, perfect uddered and attractive designed. She is in the same league as other Natural Law daughter’s: BarE-L Erica 74A, Brooking Countess 7077 and the $100,000 Bar-E-L Bride 28C. While being
Stockade Round-Up, FarmFair and Agribition. Mated to the $60,000 powerhouse
production record is hard to look past; 58F is her best daughter to date in our opinion and the cow we will use to take her place going forward to design our herd. Udder and foot quality in this mating should be second to none and you will want to keep any heifer calf you can. These will be the only embryos offered from 58F until 2024 as we have big plans to implant the rest of the inventory into our recipient cows. Here’s a neat opportunity to be
Beauty 6R, Erilite 109Z, Tibbie 28Z and more. A genetic combination you’d want to build around or one that would be easily marketed. 55E is a beautifully designed female with excellent feet and an ideal udder. Four Mile was the $60,000 high seller from our 2022 bull sale and a highlight of the spring bull sale season for his muscle shape, early maturity, performance and calving ease. 3/4 sisters to this mating have sold to the progressive junior divisions of Rancier Farms and Wilbar Cattle Co.
One of our young up and coming donors that’s a daughter off of one of our old faithful donors RSKY Ms Instinct 0065, mated with the breeding sensation Brooking Firebrand 6068. 9292 is the replacement for her great dam, and what a legacy she has to live up to, but we believe it’s one she will be on the right track to match or surpass as she is one more generation of a couple great cows with Firebrands lineage. 9292 is a beautifully made female with a bold rib shape, great depth, with the presence, udder and foot quality we have come to expect from her great sire. We sold two full sisters to 9292 through Angus Collection to the great programs of KT Ranches and Compass Ranch, one of which was a $42,000 high seller that day. We believe well with 9292 and encourage you to contact us to get our thoughts on what bulls we may recommend. Her embryos selling by Panther 1906, the SAV 2022 high selling bull to Voss has us very excited as his great foot, structure, modest birth with explosive growth is just the thing we wish to see continue in the North American beef industry.
This powerful Elba donor is one of the most attractive daughters of
Resource 1441 of the 2016 Siebring Sale. Her seven maternal sisters in production post a combined weaning ratio of 102. The grandam is a top-producing female whose progeny include the Semex sire SAV Radiance 0801. The third dam is the legendary SAV Elba 1094, a female that has generated in excess of one million in progeny sales. SAV Renovation 6822, the deceased sire of this mating will no doubt go down as one of the all time great sires at Schaff’s Angus Valley.
is unmatched in the breed for phenotype, performance and production. Emblynette 9812 inherited much of her dam’s characteristics. She is stout, good footed, long and deep bodied, and has an excellent udder and teats. The sire of the embryos, Covey Hill Unbelievable 4J, was the $52,500 high seller at our Hillspride Sale. This Coleman Bravo 6313 son, is backed by exceptional females on both sides of his pedigree. His dam, Rosebud 1F, is the daughter of the great Rosebud 157C who sold is the U2 dispersal sale for $70,000. Rosebud 157C went on to raise and sell multiple great herd sires. Unbelievable offers supreme genetic predictability. He is complete, balance, and power packed! Progeny of this mating is guaranteed to make the next great herd sire or top end female!
SAV Emblynette 3623 is one of the top Angus cows at KT Ranches, and one of our a popular Ai sire, and SAV Short Cut, a leading sire at Perrot Cattle Co. SAV Emblynette 3623 is one of our favourite cows to look at on a daily basis. Long bodied, stout, big ribbed, good uddered and good looking, everything we expect out of an Angus donor female. 3623 will have two powerhouse, America daughters selling at this year’s Angus Collection Sale. time as a mature bull and had a short but storied show career. He was Supreme champion at the 121st Interior Provincial Exhibition and Stampede, Supreme Champion at Farmfair
The best part of Forged of Fire is still to come. We believe he will be a next level female maker, and has the numbers to be a bull that can raise the low birth, curve bending bulls that are easy to sell. We see big things coming in the future of this mating.
SAV Emblynette 4223 was a $47,500 selection from Schaff Angus Valley. She’s massive in her dimension, wedge shaped, broad hipped, in a moderate frame size. She is the dam of the $50,000 Brooking Gold Coin who was a reserve grand champion bull at Agribition in 2019 and a top ten in the Supreme. She has a son who is one of our favourites in the bull pen this year. He will be a highlight of the spring sale season. SAV Panther 1906 was the high selling bull at Schaffs this past spring for $350,000. KT, Brooking and Canadian Sires bought the exclusive Canadian semen rights on him. He was admired for his perfect hoof shape, massive rib and abound muscle with a curve bending EPD tabulation.
Brooking Abigail 6006 is an extremely impressive female. We feel she is close to ideal in her type. She is well-made, wide-hipped, bold in her shape and volume, level-uddered, uddered, angular made, perfect phenotype, excellent footed and is always a favourite among visitors. Brooking Abigail 6006 embryos have been high conception for us. Her progeny in the pen by Mercury and her natural bull calf by Emerald is one of our absolute favourites that will see breeding use at Brooking. Emerald progeny will be hot commodities in the upcoming years and here is a grand opportunity to get in.
One of the favourites from the historic Rose Bowl sale was the gorgeous Annie K 13H as she is a full sister to one of the greatest breeding bulls, Firebrand 6068. Her donor dam Annie K 390 is a production matriarch and we just knew we needed to grab on to an own daughter of her. Power, performance, elegance and grace, 13H is the type we love to own and wish we had 50 more of. We feel females of this caliber click with absolutely any mating to Panther, the big scale, phenotypically correct, sound made rugged power bull lining the cow power up in the resulting pedigree with Rose, 390, 9165, 6644 and 4136!!
The $39,000 favourite from the 2nd Opportunity Knocks sale was 265F as she is backed by one of the most popular and potent donor cows in North America, Erica 74A. The consistency of 74A passing on her traits is very consistent in every mating and we feel 265F too has the ability to copy herself. Sweeping rib cage, perfect feet and udder with style and presence. Her matings to the likes of Panther 1906, will be a complementing cross as his power and performance with a rugged herd bull look will add to her elegant, sharp lined silhouette. Maybe some of the most exciting matings to be available this fall will be anything sired Glacier 041 as we believe his breeding possibilities are endless and think he has a bright future within the beef industry. His unmatched phenotype, maternal lineage coupled with foot quality and structural integrity make him one of the brightest sires to come down the pipe.
Backed by one of the most cherished cow families in Angus breed history, the Dixie Erica’s, this Napoleon daughter is the epitome of power and elegance. 670D is a specimen to be held with her abundance amount of depth of body, lower quarter shape and rib shape. She stands on a big foot and packs a very tidy, level udder. With all the power and punch she packs, she is elevated out of her shoulder and holds her head high with a proud presence, with a beautiful, maternal skull. We can’t say enough good about the Glacier bull marketability of the progeny by this cross is endless as are Glaciers breeding capabilities. The Dixie Erica’s meet the Donna’s here in this exciting genetic opportunity.
The feature, high selling female from the 2021 Rose Bowl was the beautiful Tibbie 216C where she is a perfect balance of both power and eye appeal. Wide pinned, stout hipped, big barrelled, perfect uddered with a a beautiful head and neck are some of the striking attributes she has. Her mating to the future legend, the $270,000 (1/4 interest) Glacier 041 bull is very exciting as this phenotypic stud is about to play a huge role in the Angus Industry. He is as exciting as a herd bull all that use him. The same could be said by the SAV 2022 high seller for $350,000, the strong footed, great numbered, powerhouse, SAV Panther 1906 as he combines the gorgeous donor, BlackCap May 6644 to add on top of 216C. Hummel South America is the outcross bull that checks all the boxes people are searching for and believe the cross of him to Tibbie will result in highly marketable offspring or the type you can keep to build around to start something new. These matings are extremely exciting off of a big time female that we are proud to offer.
Tibbie 51G was our acquisition with Blair’s out of the inaugural Evolution sale when we purchased 2/3 interest to partner up with Greenwood on this cornerstone female. She is backed by the #1 income cow at Greenwood, angular, with a wide pin set, broad top and rocket front. She possesses 28Z’s foot and udder qualities and is a female we believe you can have immense success with no matter how she’s mated. Her mating to Bang On, the high seller from Northway who is a low birth, high performing bull with exceptional phenotype will be very exciting and will enhance each other nicely. The $90,000 2022 high selling Schiefelbein Gable 311 bull to Peak maternal lineage have made him a must use sire. These are limited genetic opportunities sired by Gable and we think you will be hearing a lot more about this future star. National 0144 was a high seller and favourite amongst many from Brooking in 2021 when he commanded $47,500 to Bar-E-L and Campbell Cattle. A son of the great Rose 1019 by the breed leading Renovation 6822 is site to be held with his overwhelming depth and width.
When we designate a cow to the Donor Pen, we look very closely at their past performance record, not solely on an amazing picture. Annie 240Z has certainly met that criteria, producing 6 heifer calves with sales accumulating $182,000 averaging $30,333 per head. And one bull at $14,000 and still working. She has a Gold ranking in our Herdtrax program and is an Elite dam in the CAA along with 2 others in the pedigree. There are also 2-bulls and 1-female that have CWA Grand Champion status and 2 with Royal Bank Supreme titles, which includes HF Tiger 5T and Duralta Echo 32E. We cannot put a numeric value on the Tiger daughters we have had such great success with over the years, they are just irreplaceable! Now, lets take that and mate it to our new guy on the block…Daltons Trailblazer and we are anticipating great things. Trailblazer combines so many different aspects of the big picture, he is extremely long bodied, stout made, wide based, great muscle shape, tight sheathed, with supper presence and to top it all off very structurally sound and awesome feet. And if you want to study his numbers he will impress you there as well. He is anywhere from the top 1% -10% of the breed for CE, BW, WW, YW, RADG, DOC, CW, MARB, REA, MILK, and CBI. We believe in these genetics and we are excited to offer them to you.
The Mistress cow family was introduced into Hamilton Farms in 1999 when Wacey bought a heifer from Express Ranches in their Junior program, and they have never looked back, with numerous Mistress females scattered throughout our herd. Mistress 196Z, her dam and 2 sires in the immediate pedigree all Rank with Elite status in the CAA. As pictured, we have 2 progeny of Mistress 196Z that will impress you with a square, wide based, eye appealing, stock bulls that are naturally thick with true angus character. These kind are easy to get attached to, and Mistress 196Z is no stranger when it comes to rolling out the top sellers. As we have watched the sales this fall, Atlantis is certainly making his mark in the industry. He has increased his popularity over a wide spectrum of angus breeders looking to improve type, kind, muscle expression and structural soundness, with incredible width, tremendous muscle, outstanding depth and rib shape, with great presence. Recently at the Montana Ranch sale an Atlantis son, Montana Judgement brought $180,000 and females getting knocked down in the $21,000-$35,000 all day long. Atlantis exhibits a nicely balanced
pedigree, there are 5 cattle designated as Elite in the CAA. Possibly a fair amount of predictability bred into the lineage? One of the most notable progeny of 118Z, is HF Evening Tinge 38C who was purchased by Bar-E-L in 2016 for $20,000 as a heifer calf. She elevated herself to the elite status in their herd and moved into the Donor Pen where her production record snowballed producing many high sellers…$27,500, $27,000, $19,000 and selling numerous embryos at home and abroad, adding exceptional value to numerous programs. Schiefelbein Showman made his introduction into the industry with a splash! Commanding unprecedented prices of $1800/straw, and $3000/embryo! Showman is the and Angus Character. Topping sales since his introduction…$50,000, $37,000, $40,000, $40,000, $34,000 and the list goes on. This investment could certainly be a wise choice.
HF Miss Blackcap 45D is a beautiful cow that is as consistent as
come
has made a calf sold through the Angus Collection 2021 to Bar-E-L for $25,000. Her second calf was Senior Bull Calf Champion at CWA 2019, and then was sold to Semex Beef for 15,000. Her 3rd calf was a female that sold to Grand River Angus for 10,500 and then continued her production with a bull sired by Alcatraz that sold in 2022 to PJ Ranch, Henry Pascone for $34,000. HF Brass is an extremely stout individual with great hair, foot quality, moved like a cat, with an awesome and +180 YW barriers! He is a physical powerhouse with super length, width and thickness. He is big footed and stout made with exceptional structure! Here is your opportunity to add something new and exciting into your program with the consistency of the Miss Blackcap
The result of our pick from Hamilton’s heifer calf pen a few years ago was this Cowboy a female as stout and powerful in her muscle pattern, bold sprung in her rib cage and still extended and attractive through her front 1/3 like 58F is. She’s ideal in her udder, with a clean tidy look and we think the matings to both the $350,000 Panther 1906, who is a calving ease specialist with a tonne of growth and performance, as well as the $270,000 (1/4 interest) Glacier 041 bull, who is going to be the talk of the industry for years to come as we start seeing his progeny in Canada, will both be complementing matings to a very impressive Angus cow that has the look and phenotype we strive to duplicate.
One of perhaps our most silent, but deadly donor dams in our arsenal is the sunning Beauty 4023 as she simply gets it done in both natural production and in embryo transfer. 4023 herself is near perfect shouldered and pretty headed. Shes had a standout herdbull for Six Mile Ranch, a quality bred heifer progeny to suit all faucets of the industry. Her mating to Emerald will be an ideal cross as they both bring so many of the same attributes to the table when you talk about maternal lineage, phenotype, production records and so fourth. As we have mentioned multiple times, we can’t say enough good about Glacier 041 and believe he has a huge foundation to lay yet in the Angus breed.
he is one of the best Angus herd bulls we have ever laid eyes on.
The last daughter ever born out of the world famous SAV Madame Pride 0075! When mixing the best old school foundation genetics with the leading new hot sire the possibilities are endless. This is a 1 time only offer to purchase Embryos of this Proven SAV donor Cow!!!
Peak Dot Annie K 246E is a dominating Peak Dot Prime daughter with capacity, volume beautiful udder, excellent feet and proven track record combined with her maternal lineage made it a simple decision to introduce this cow into our elite donor pen. The sire of the embryos Schiefelbein Gable 311 is one of the most in demand young bulls in the Angus breed with semen selling for $1000 per dose.
Peak Dot Heroine 330B is an impressive eye appealing, soft made donor with broodiness and body shape, a favourite to all who have visited the Ranch. Her production record is equally as impressive. She has a stellar production record and is listed as an Elite/Premier dam with the CAA. She has raised many featured top sellers including the $20,000 Peak Dot Ozark 278G selling to Anchorage Farms. Her mating to Schiefelbein Gable 311 really
Belvin Georgina 45’15 is a moderate framed, feminine, beautiful uddered daughter of Belvin Panic Switch 2’11. The Georgina cow family has been a staple of our program for over 40 years, and the dam of 45’15 was a powerhouse donor cow. A full brother to 45’15 was our 2015 High Selling Bull to Soderglen Ranches, while a full sister to 45’15 produced the High daughter, Belvin Georgina 121’17, was selected this year by KT Ranches as a pick of our cowherd. 121’17 is the mother of Belvin May City 0136, who headlined our 2021 Fall sale, selling half interest for $31,000 to Canadian Sires, with walking rights later selling to Brooking Angus. Georgina 45’15 is mated to two of the hottest current sires in the Angus breed. Square B Atlantis 8060 is gaining widespread recognition as a maternal powerhouse, siring stout made, attractive, sound offspring, that are backed by two of the greatest cows in the Angus breed. Musgrave 316 Exclusive is one of the most used sires in the US right now, combining impressive phenotype with calving ease, solid growth and carcass merit.
Bar H Rita 110H was the $26,000, 2021 CWA National Angus Show Jr Champion Female and our pick of the 50TH Anniversary sale. Flawless and elegant in her design she is the type of female you would like an entire herd of. She calved in with a picture perfect udder and has such a maternal look to her as she matures, we feel this is just beginning for this beauty. W Sunrise Executive 4J is the $115,000 powerhouse bull that we added to our program this spring. 4J just checked all the boxes for us exhibiting both a wild amount of power yet combining that in a super attractive package. He’s deep and long sided, free moving, attractive made and combines it all with an exceptional spread in EPD’s. LVVF TANKER 14 the $43,000 Casino Bomber son that Peakdot Ranches selected based on his top ranking EPD’s, phenotype, muscle, capacity and package, stunning look and an outcross pedigree. His semen selling for $1000 a straw at public Executive,Tanker and Gable makes for some very intriguing mating
Limestone Rita X354 came from the Soo Line Dispersal as one of the feature females to sell that day. She has become a cornerstone donor in our program, with many of the top daughters in production here, tracing back to her. Also many of the bulls resulting from the cow that has been admired by many both here in pasture and at Bow Valley. Most will know Mogck Entice, he is the $42,000 main Herd Sire at Hoover Angus. There 2022 Bull Sale

The Empress 127Z cow is a super solid Tiger daughter with massive capacity and a she became a donor, so super fertile as well as being in the top 3% in docility. Empress 127Z has only had 4 bulls out of 12 calves and all have been feature bulls in our sale and have averaged $8750, the daughters have all been retained. The Entice bull comes from Mogck’s in North Dakota and brought $42,000 as there High Seller to Hoover’s. Hoover’s 2022 sale featured 16 son’s of Entice that averaged $9,100. These embryos, male or female will be feature and very productive cattle for there new owner.

is our
he combines the
some of
Coleman Glacier 041 anywhere and everywhere we possibly could. He is so hard to pick apart and we think he has a huge future as a breeding bull. We think Glacier on top of this beautifully constructed First Class x 1299 donor will be a real winning combination. 1299 herself was built with tonnes of longevity and has passed down her ability to be mated to many different sires to her daughter 6024. The 1299 udder, foot quality and angus breed character is very evident here in the female and we think when you combine Glacier to the mix, it’s a true recipe for success.
Here is a big time EPD spread that will certainly get the number gurus excited and 9202 is not only a number oriented female, she has the phenotype that we seek as well. She’s moderate framed, extended, deep sided with great feet. Lady Blaster offers an outcross pedigree with all the fundamentals to lay down a solid foundation to build around. She had a really nice daughter sell last fall out of the Belvin Angus & guests female sale to the progressive Parkview Farms operation. Her mating to the $90,000, exclusive Gable bull is truly exciting and we feel his stunning phenotype and balanced power and look will compliment Lady a blaster extremely well.
Arguably the most exciting bull of any breed to surface in the North American beef industry is Glacier 041. The visual package on Glacier is unmatched starting up front with his masculine, herd bull crest and Skull, his added length and depth, big robust hip, and strong feet and legs. Glacier himself is a $270,000 (1/4 interest) high seller that has the ability to take any breeding program to the absolute next level and put you on the map. Glacier is one of the most impressive bulls we have ever laid eyes on and is backed by a big time female that annually produces great ones. We are very excited for Glacier’s future and all he will add to the industry.
Brooking Emerald 9179 was the $94,000 high seller at the Rose Bowl where he had a lot of admirers. Emerald has really shaken things up at Brooking this year. Between his impressive initial calf crop and with the world sell avg $37,600 in the Brooking Angus Ranch Open Book Invitational sale. At Agribition Emerald daughters won banners in all three-heifer calf division’s-Sr heifer calf champion, Int Heifer calf champion, reserve Jr heifer calf champion. His maternal sister was Champion Angus female in the First Lady Classic and was Junior Champion female in the open show. At the Brooking Angus Open Book Invitational sale there was 7 full or maternal sisters and it is truly remarkable the level of quality and similarity they all possessed. The full sister to Emerald brought $40,000 and the maternal sisters brought $100,00 for ½ interest, $75,000 for ½ interest, $50,000 and $25,000. Brooking Emerald 9179 progeny seem to grab all the positives of his pedigree. Scale, attractiveness, length of front end, ideal hoof shape and hair quality all courtesy of Bank Note. Fleshing ability and extra dimension of body shape from Renovation. Then add the unmistakeable ideal Angus head from the famed Beauty cow family. With the unfortunate passing of Emerald his semen will be limited.
The anchor of an impressive trio of brothers from Brooking in 2021 saw National 0144 become a but National could arguably be the very best bull ever produced there and has been a breeding sensation for the Bar-E-L and Campbell programs. This big time herd bull is backed by one of the most decorated donors in the industry with Rose 1019 backing him. Visiting Genex on my way to Denver in 2017 and 2018 he was one of the only bulls that continually caught my eye. He was a bull with massive thickness and perfect feet. After seeing him in person he was a bull that we used a ton selling dozens of feature bulls that most are still in production today. The daughters calf heifer.

your breeding program major steps forward. The cow family quality and power runs deep, with consistent production of highly sought after sons. The Maxine cow family is our calving ease cow family, linking back to BLB 10Z who produced BLB Drake 146D purchased by Twin View Livestock. A maternal sister BLB 14B produced BLB Dan 102D owned by Severtson Land and Cattle. Both sires have set the standard for calving ease and vigor. The Maxine cow family consistently produces top end offspring, with added marketability. To date we have sold 4 bulls and one bred heifer off BLB 14B for a total of $35,000. BLB 11F is a daughter of BLB 14B and is doing an awesome job here at Goodview, living up to the Maxine legacy. BLB 24B leads the way in our very productive Black Magic cow family. She has 2 daughters retained in our herd as well as producing 2 high performance sons. Both sons had successful show careers and were our Peoples Choice Bull Futurity entries. Her two leading daughters are BLB 131D & BLB 12G who have bright futures. They each have a son that was part of our show string this fall and respectively our Futurity entries. The Lovebug cow family is another top producer in our herd. BLB 17A was sold as a choice lot in attention of many as he was crowned the 2021 Peoples Choice Bull Futurity Champion. Look to this family to add a little extra power to go along with a near perfect udder and big foot.
124J, an SLC Outback 142X son, garnered a lot of attention. He became the 2nd highest Gelbvieh bull in Canada last spring to Royal Western Gelbvieh and Nelson Gelbvieh for $23,000. Her sons have grossed $54,000, selling to breeders across Canada and the U.S. She represents the most dominate production of highly regarded sons.

After a lot of discussion we have allowed our gates to be swung wide open and provide pick of any female from our breeding program. We have made a conscious effort of creating some of the breeds most highly sought after & respected replacement females year after year. Built on a foundation of 200 plus momma cows that work hard to earn their keep. Our breeding program is based on cattle that thrive, as we always put a lot of effort into maintaining industry’s most respected herd bull line ups. This provides some of the most sought after sires to be stacked in our female pedigrees. Over the years our accomplishments have been always highlighted when we have sold a female that makes a mark in her new breeding program. Highlight females like DDN 56A purchased by Prairie Hills Gelbvieh, ND and was the dam to easily one of the most impactful Breeders Choice Futurity champions to date. Or recently the DDN 8138F beautiful DDN Driver 133D and second was the BLB Jetson 124J $23,000.00 high seller. It’s those moments that allow us to be okay with letting the buyer pick their next breed changing female. No females held back, all age groups including the most elite 2023 born heifer calves from industry’s hottest sires, like the record setting JRI Where’s the beef 307H40, RWG Holiday Inn 0415 ET, JRI Secretariat 285E78, RWG Guilt Trip 9418, BLB Jetson 124J, JRI Star General 254F833, DRT Cairo 230H. female picked at our expenses.
As the 2018 Agribition Champion Mainetainer Female, Ruby 25E was widely admired for presence. Incorporating the genetics of her no-miss sire Unstoppable, and her legendary grandsires Who Made Who and Monopoly with Icon, the highest valued Maine-Anjou bull in recent history, was an easy choice. A stand-out among the display bulls at the NWSS, stout-made, good-footed, heavy-muscled, homo black baldy of any breed. His sire, BOE Epic, is the most dominant sire of high sellers in the history of the Maine-Anjou breed, and a full sister to Icon was the 2020 US Junior National Champion Maine Female. The Icon x Ruby calves we have had born have excelled in dimension, rib shape and bone, resulting in striking bull calves in our 2021 and 2022 crops and a heifer calf that is one of our stoutest in 2022. Ruby is now deceased, making this the very last opportunity to access her genetics. Progeny register as 50% Mainetainers and are TH/PHA Free by pedigree.
Our never ending quest to select exciting genetics in every breed we are apart of is never ending, and when we started to analyze 49G, who was apart of the rookie calf crop from the 3x Supreme Champion bull, Greenwood Electric Impact 707E, we quickly realized she was the type of Limousin female we wanted to duplicate. Her unique build coupled with her tremendous breed character makes her a special individual in our eyes. She is stamped with Limousin muscle and power, yet is extremely soft in her design with tonnes of neck that can be competitive show animals as well as productive ones is endless. Her mating appeal. Her other embryos offered by Fugitive 8J, the $22,000 high seller and pick of the 9 most beautiful, productive cows in the breed, TMF miss Shameless.
A true donor female as her pedigree is rich with maternal quality, stemming back to the great Pillow Talk 907P on the bottom side. Elastic Heart has been a productive matron producing highly marketable sons each spring and big quality females for the
Rush bull as he is as soft made, yet heavily muscled bull within the entire breed and believe his dam, Bailey, just adds more positives as we believe she is one of the best phenotype and production donors in existence. The mating to the recent 2022 Farm Fair International Grand Champion Bull, Samurai will surely be a complimentary mating as his added length and overall scale is impressive with tremendous breed character and performance added in.
What an opportunity! When we had purchased 15B from Windy Gables out of the Colours of Autumn Sale, being a fullblood, we knew the genetic possibilities could be endless and with sitting on a few vials of Prince Pompadour semen in the tank, we decided to take calf year in and year out, whether bred purebred or fullblood. She has an excellent udder and is very sound, and balanced in her make, with that Limousin hip! She has sons out excelling in breeder and commercial herds, and a daughter in production at home raising one of our top fall calves. We currently have a bull calf in the pen from this mating and he is showing true Limousin character, and docility is off the charts! We are excited to watch his development and being out of a no miss cow, we knew she could make this mating work! We are pleased to be able to use the original Limousin sire 50+ years later!
B Bar Cattle was Samurai 17J who rose to the top in terms of length and overall scale while remaining stout muscled, soft made with tonnes of breed character. His gorgeous dam, TMF Shameless really sealed the deal for us and when Samurai’s full sisters highlighted and topped the Solid Gold sale that year for $22,000, we knew we needed a piece of one of the
Limousin breed history. Samurai was campaigned successfully this past fall claiming Champion Limousin Bull honours at Farm Fair International and believe he has a large part to play within the Limousin industry going forward.
The Homo Polled, double calving ease and high maternal Limousin bull you have been searching for is Stetson 35H and when you analyze this phenotypic stud and the natural shape, dimension and structural integrity he possesses with his smooth made calving ease look, it’s quick to understand why he was a popular $19,500 high seller in the fall of 2020. Stetson’s highly productive dam who is excellent uddered and sound made, absolutely knocks it out of the park every year and when we search out to market semen on high quality bulls we always make sure they are backed by productive, fundamentally sound cows and Stetson is backed by one of the best.
Richmond Hector SRD 178H might just be one of the best bulls we have ever raised. We are extremely excited about what his future holds and feel he is a legend in the making. In just his pedigree alone he has the consistency of production on the maternal side along with the raw muscle mass and power on the paternal side making for a deadly combination. With a top replacement female in the herd and four powerful herd sires raised to date it goes without saying that SRD 148A has been a no-miss cow when it comes to production. This pedigree is sure to add great maternal strength into your cow herd and power and performance into your calf crop. Hector’s EPD status is phenomenal with WW, YW, Milk in the top 10% of the breed, TM in the top 1%, and a strong scrotal and docility rating. No other semen will be sold for the 2023 breeding season.
the move. TREF EZ Street is a 6 year old, proven, homo polled bull we purposefully raised for breeding heifers and who was never offered at sale. He has been our highest volume semen seller for both registered and commercial mass heifer breeding programs. They say a bull’s real worth is in the females he produces and without a doubt his daughter’s are making a huge impact. With 12 high accuracy epds in the top 25% of the breed, his numbers couldn’t be written any better on paper and match his actual data. If you’re looking to lower birthweight, increase weaning weight, scrotal, disposition, milk, and ribeye then you need to make a right turn on EZ Street!
Homo polled. Homo Black. Myostatin carrier. Gotcha 7G had some of the high selling semen in last year’s New Year’s Resolution Sale – all breeds, but is was female sexed semen and we did not have offspring yet on the ground. Now we have a good sample of developing offspring, as shown in the reference pictures and we can’t decide if he makes better females or bulls – we simply love them both. His son and daughter were our high selling offspring from our 2022 calf crop this year and we take that judgement serious by open market bidders/breeders. Gotcha comes from a big time milk line, has great feet and can get out and travel with ease. Due to the deep outcrossing in this bull, he can be used on just about any Speckle Park female in the breed. Thanks in advance for your consideration!
Homozygous Polled. Homozygous Black. Myostatin Non-carrier. Here is your opportunity to acquire sexed female semen off an exciting up and comer from our program. A white, high performing, myostatin non-carrier option that boasts a pedigree full of proven females, making him a valuable addition to every program. He combines two very productive A&W females as his dam and paternal granddam, both of which were admired for their impressive udder quality, rich milking ability and overall longevity. Hundred Proof is appreciated by all that view him for his extra length throughout each third, added frame, and exceptional foot quality. He excelled through his weaning and yearling posting impressive weights and measuring 38cm at 365 days of age. Truly one of the most naturally docile bulls we have ever been around of any breed and his offspring carry that same docility across the board. Calves are on the ground in our program, displaying the traits we expected while improving udder attachment on the females. We believe Hundred Proof will become a stand out female producer in the Speckle Park breed. Utilize this semen to build a herd of elite females or produce highly marketable sexed embryos to cash in on!
The consignors in this NYR Sale have committed to consign their very best and this will be your opportunity to acquire these EXCLUSIVE genetics for the 2023 breeding season. No other semen or embryos of the same matings will be offered privately or in sales until fall of 2023 (or ever again) so invest with confidence as NYR where to access the best of the best!
