The calf market is strong especially so on these big heavy Simmental and Simmental cross calves. Investment in quality, young replacement females and top herdsires with the genetics to back them up will always pay dividends. 2017 has been a historic year as Canada celebrates its 150th Anniversary, the 50th Anniversary for Simmental in Canada and Mom & Dad celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary this summer. For this 50th Anniversary edition of our fall female sale, we have assembled a powerful set of registered bred heifers out of our premiere cow families and the most exciting herdbulls in the industry. These are the sisters to the bulls that were so well accepted last spring and in each and every category have the genetics to propel your breeding program ahead. In many cases the sires and service sires are exclusive to ourselves and our bull customers with genetics that are not easily accessible and have decades of cow families to back them up. (The open heifer calf division is as powerful as we have ever offered filled with an individual or two by our most exciting young sires and a preview of what to expect this spring at the bull sale. To round out the offering is the group of 50 commercial bred females. These females genetically are the same as our purebred heifers on offer and are for the most part the heifers out of our spring calving herd and almost entirely registered females. Th ey are bred to calve in mid March to Angus AI sires and exposed to our highly proven MRLA 201z calving ease sire once again. Not just run of the mill commercial heifers here but 100% home raised and the most elite genetics in the industry. Progeny will be true FI Simm/Angus cross on the Simmental heifers and straight Angus on the Angus group of breds. Our offering on December 8th will allow you to take advantage of almost 50 years of genetic progress and step right in at the top of our program with exclusive genetics and proven cow families. We will probably not overwhelm you with professional fitting, and pictures either in our sale catalogue,or on sale day at the ranch but can guarantee females that will be highly proven and big on production with genetics bred in for generations that will work in the real world.
