A good solid polled Full Fleckvieh bred heifer from an original cow family of ours and sired by Starwest Ember makes her even more interesting. Ember has had such a positive influence in our herd, he is a great female maker, and has produced fantastic bulls as well. She is carrying a very exciting coupon out of our new high selling bull, Sibelle Pol Drakkar 16J. You will be hearing a lot about him in the future. Joyln is that deep red, well pigmented female that is so eye catching. Long, full ribbed and thick over the top, she is just darn good and polled to boot! Exposed to Sibelle Pol Drakker 16J from March 26 - Aug 1. Observed bred on April 6 (safe). Preg checked safe to this date on May 21 & Sept 3.
appreciate the broodiness of this Full Fleckvieh heifer. Thick and deep with a strong hindquarter describes her well. Again coming from a founding cow family we called Royal (Klondike Arnie x Great Guns Moses) that we purchased back in the fall of 2001 for our daughter Avery to put away money for her college fund. It was a great investment for her! Again being bred to our new bull Sibelle Pol Drakker 16J, will be an
A homozygous polled Full Fleckvieh heifer, Fancy Pants was named this from day 1, as she is definitely fancy and just darn good, so much so that we shouldn’t be selling her. She is our picture of 30 years of breeding coming together in a homozygous polled package. You don’t see many homozygous polled animals this thick, deep bodied, and long through the loin. She has outcross lines both maternal and paternal that you don’t see very often, making her even more desirable. To top it off, her maternal granddam is Rich Mc Ms Pol 15Y, the dam of Rich Mc Poll Hyatt PPFF. Hyatt is the sire of Rich Mc Pol Imagine PPFF who is also in the sale! We have definitely dug very deep on these open heifers.
A homozygous polled Full Fleckvieh, Imagine was mothered by a 2020 Simmental Champion of World qualifier as well as being a 2020 high seller at Sim Power. This summer both Imagine and her dam were admired far and wide. Imagine’s sire, Rich Mc Pol Hyatt PPFF 25H, owned by ourselves and JB Livestock has been described by notable breeders as being undeniably easy fleshing and has a full round quarter that is very difficult to find in polled Fleckvieh cattle and even harder in Homozygous polled. He is producing a consistent and soft made set of calves. Imagine certainly does check these boxes. This heifer is very structurally correct, thick, great volume, capacity and length and can really strike that look at me pose! AND she is homozygous polled! Imagine the possibilities!
A pretty special Full Fleckvieh heifer here, she is one of a kind. Her dam, BLL Haute is a maternal sister to the $355,000 BLL Rumble that created so much excitement this spring. Haute herself was a high seller when we purchased her. Let’s Dance’s sire, is a FGAF Legend son that is one of a kind himself. This sweetheart is thick topped, deep bodied and perfectly pigmented. She has a paternal brother in this sale that is just plum good as well. I’m really not sure WHY we are selling her, other than you have to sell the good ones. Close you eye and IMAGINE the potential!
Pol Knox is a polled dark red, very well pigmented Full Fleckvieh Fullblood bull with that extra length and depth that puts more money in your pockets. He has good testicular development. His mother, Applecross Cabernet 14G was a high seller and is an up and coming female at Rich MC, and you just can’t go wrong with his sire Starwest Ember. This guy has a bright future ahead.
We will winter the bulls until April 1, 2023, semen check and deliver. Go to cattlevidsviewer.ca under Rich Mc Farms to view the bulls prior to weaning with their dams on pasture.

Mothered by a favorite first calf heifer, this polled low birthweight Full Fleckvieh Fullblood bull has been another favorite from day one. He exhibits a great muscle pattern with width in the loin and depth in the hind quarters, as well as good volume and testicular development. He is deep red with double goggles. His maternal gronamother is Mylia’s favourite cow and goes back to a foundation cow, Richmond Mis Baltimore (Sim-Roc Zereeva family).

Welcome to Keystone Konnection 2022 from the McColl / Schweitzer program. “Thank you” in advance for your appraisal of our offering to this prestigious sale. Thank you to the Mandziuk family “Bar 9 Simmentals” for their purchases over the last couple years in particular. Your trust in our program is greatly appreciated. We have seen many changes over the past couple years. Many of which directly tagged to the cattle. The selected group we have to present are what we feel to be some of the best we have had come off pasture. Honest, natural, hard working yet easy doing proven pedigrees that we have put our trust in. These 4 calves alone averaged 817lbs at weaning and come off some sweetheart consistent dams. BlazeOn’s productivity has given us the confidence to set the bar high on his continued future. This Betts daughter is truly a special type. Her pedigree has exceptional all over it. From early on she’s captured the pasture presence. One that I wish I could’ve ran the show circuit with. One of our final Westcott daughters is no exception. A stamp of what NAC Westcott 83F did for us. The way he produced his calves is showcased in this package. Not to mention the tremendous disposition. Our lone bred 23J is another Westcott that was precisely what we had hoped for off the Crosbyson dam. Brood cow with such a smooth front and depth from front to back. Add in the early breeding to WLB TopTier!! With Hockey, Dance, 4-H, work, farm and play, we always make sure to invite you to drop in for a visit, give a call or text, or just chat. Until next time, make the best of today’s opportunities. Yours with an addiction to cattle, Brodie McColl.

Red Lipstick is a very eye appealing, polled, red stamped, brood cow in the making. One that will produce exciting offspring for years to come. Take a good look at the style, thickness and the physical, ideal appearance of this heifer. Bred to Top Tier should make for an exciting calf.
AI’d to WLB Top Tier on April 12th. No exposure. Preg checked safe.
This black, polled, Blaze On heifer is one of a kind! Her disposition is second to none. One of the first ones to come up to you in the pen. A moderate framed calf with a long neck extension, length of spine and out of a good milking mother. Black Beauty had an impressive weaning weight on October 6th of 835 lbs.
The “SWEETHEART” of the pasture!! Karly is extremely wide topped, very deep sided, well muscled and has a beautiful haircoat. This fancy, polled, eyecatching SVS Betts heifer is out of a IPU Red Zone dam that is excellent milking and has proven herself over and over again. 4K is sure to make a foundation cow in anyone’s herd with all the top genetics that she has built in. She weaned off her dam at 815 lbs. This is one female that should be staying in our herd but we wanted to bring out one of our best!
a polled, black, WLB Blaze On daughter that is clean fronted, long bodied, smooth shouldered and is out of a consistant producing “Sochi” cow. Kit Kat is one with a good temperament that you could put a halter on and use as a 4-H project.
Westcott daughter is the spitting image of her dam. Very square made and displays natural thickness from head to toe. Kenzy is smooth fronted with a beautiful hair coat. Her Red Zone dam has a good udder and milks well.
Lonestar Tara comes from another amazing female we purchased out of the WLB dispersal. Tara has lots of frame and style. Truly a female that we hate to see leave the farm. With being sired by WLB Remarkable and going back to MRL EL Tigre, this female has lots of performance built into her! Talk about stacked genetics, this female has it all. She has a beautiful udder coming in and being bred to our walking herd sire Ultra/HVAL Warcat 75J her calf will be exciting to see! Lonestar WLB Eda 86K is a very attractive style female with a clean front, good feet and looks like she will have the same nice udder structure as her dam. With her blaze face and calm demeanor, Eda would make a great 4H heifer and a great addition to anyone’s herd. Another heifer calf with strong genetics that you just have to fall in love with. CNF 86K is homo polled by parentage.

Cody Haney took a liking to this heifer when he toured the calves this summer. She is long, deep and has the big momma cow ears. She is one of the first John Wayne females to sell. Her dam, ML 5465C is an embryo calf from Lock n Load 54U. She is moderate framed, easy keeper, with a great udder. Her bull calf ML 7465E weaned well above average.

Welcome to the 44th annual Keystone Konnection Sale; what a year it has been from start to finish; from muddy pens and a late start seeding the crop and feed to a just as late harvest season. Everything seemed to be a month delayed; but the crop did get in the bin before November which was a bonus on the grain end. On the cow end; grass and sown feeds were plentiful so our feed yards are full. All that aside; as per usual we have pulled right off the top of our bred heifer pen this year to bring them for your appraisal. These girls are bred and raised to work for their new owners with no pampering, to last for years at their new homes. Bred to industry leading calving ease AI sires the results will be great! All the heifers will have had their ivomec & first shot of scourguard prior to sale day. Please feel free to come see them at the ranch in their home environment or don’t hesitate to call with any questions you might have prior to sale day. Look forward to seeing you all on the 6th of December!
Here is one of those heifers that we had a hard time letting go. She’s been a standout since day one; a heifer with extreme length of body, substance & thickness. The mating between Wescott and this baldy cow was a no brainer as she always drops a good one! Setting up a real nice udder and mated to the never miss calving ease specialist Absolute, the end product is as good as in the bank. Take the time to analyze this heifer; everything is right!
AI’d to WFL Absolute 51Y on April 28/22. Preg tested safe.
A stylish blaze face heifer with a little twist on the genetic side. Looking back on her blaze face mother’s side you will find the renown Champs Bravo; who has left his mark in the industry. With that on the bottom side and our consistent, faithful senior herdsire Centrefire on the topside, there is definitely power & growth built into the pedigree. I need not be repetitious from year to year in stating how bang on the Centrefire bull is in his offspring. Bred Absolute; and a few generations of blaze faces thrown in there, the end result will definitely be exciting! AI’d to WFL Absolute 51Y on April 12/22. Preg Tested Safe

Fancy, fancy, fancy! She`ll make some heads turn; as she has since the day she was born. She definitely has that sharp, eye appealing, baldy head on her that is so hard to stamp on them. Besides that if you analyze this heifer, she is very nice in her makeup; excellent set of feet and legs resulting in very free movement which a person needs for longevity in a mama cow. 73J is also very good in her lines as well; with ample rib shape and depth of body. Her picture does not do her much justice, she is a must see in person. On the bloodline side; proven genetics top and bottom with the likes of Savage (Loaded Up) which we were so thrilled with the offspring that we bought a direct son to run in our herd. Tracing back to the Right-On bull on the cow side; a nice genetic twist to the pedigree. Also settimg down a beautiful udder, which runs deep on her dam side. AI bred to Cowboy Cut; an easy coming, possibly baldy baby could be

Here is a smooth made, angular daughter off our black blaze Cobra bull. Cobra needs no introduction as to the impact he has had on the industry; as his son has for us in the consistency to his females. On the sire side; going back to the DHS Silverlake Daphnee cow who has left her mark in many pedigrees as well. Flipping over to the dam side traces back to the PWK Paris 47Y cow who is still working hard at our place and consistently has offspring at the top of the scale each year. You must credit this heifer for her very correct structure, feet & legs. As well this heifer is setting up a very nice udder which you can trace back for generations on the cow side. Mated AI to the calving ease Cowboy Cut bull will have great results!

Welcome to the Keystone Konnection Sale! As first time consignors we are really excited to be a part of this sale and want to thank the Keystone Simmental Assoc. for hosting us!
We farm and raise cattle just south of Minnedosa, MB where we calve out close to 500 commercial cows and farm close to 2000 acres. Our young purebred herd is quickly growing and we rely heavily on embryo transfer and AI to grow cow notable families. We market our bulls yearly at the end of February in the Horner Downhill TSN bull sale. We focus on consistency by offering up groups of full brothers and paternal siblings as a result of our embry program.
We have brought a pair of heifer calves who we are very pleased with. These maternally stacked, well balanced and really complete heifer calves we think will have bright futures as productive momma cows or could make an awesome junior project who will more importatly go on to make a great cow for a young producer.
Feel free to stop in for a visit anytime! See you in Brandon, or stop in at our stall at CWA and AG Ex.

We have been pleased with the job MRL Heatseeker 109E has done in our purebred herd and our commercial herd. At 6 years of age his feet have never been touched and from a structure standpoint he is impressive to look at. 2004K’s dam has been a hard working Captain Morgan daughter, moderate in her type, good footed, easy keeping type female. She’s never seemed to disappoint and 2004K’s red full sister in the replacement pen is the type we strive to produce. Going back to the Y9S1 Jewel donor at Double Bar D and combining the 55W donor this female is maternally stacked and one who we think will work just as hard as her mother.
Here is a heifer who is going to be the total Junior package! A really smooth made, long spined and overall very complete female with an awesome temperament. Her young mother has already proven herself to be a valuable breeding piece putting a bull calf in last year’s bull pen and producing 2007K. We really appreciate the udder quality on 983Gshe has dropped a square and level udder with adequate teat size and we think she’s going to continue to be a great breeding piece. One can’t ignore the maternal greats in 2007K’s pedigree, going back to the Rose 23D cow and TSN 55W who has done so much for the McMillan program.
bets are that after a great junior show career, this girl could be a really good candidate for kick starting a junior’s purebred herd.

Here’s a bred heifer from the Sister Anne cow family. This cow family has been very predictable, two maternal siblings to 444J have graced this very sale ring in 2019 and 2020 selling to Crowe Bros and Bar 9 Simmentals, and their male counterparts have always found their way into other breeding programs. There’s lots to appreciate about Sister Anne 444J, she’s long spined and feminine made, just like her dam. Bred to the calve ease State of War bull, which I expect to be a dynamite mating and add some depth to 444J’s progeny.
