It’s our pleasure at Bohrson Marketing Services to again be working with the Keystone Klassic consignors to welcome you to their 34th annual event featuring black and red Angus genetics. The 2022 offering is deep in quality and one we are proud to be associated with. 34 annual sales is no small feat and one that needs to be seriously commended towards the consignors and people that keep them going. Our congratulations to each and every one of you. Again this year we are pleased to be a combined sale with the Keystone Konnection Simmental group and look forward to hosting this event with them to create a great atmosphere for cattleman to come together and enjoy two great breeds.
We have a lot of options for many different operations on December 6th, proven donor cows, fancy open heifers and powerful bred heifers, both in red and black colours. The red donor cow is a predictable breeding tool that has the track record to compliment her gorgeous phenotype an we feel she still has a lifetime of production ahead of her. The black brood cow available is one that could quickly find herself in the donor pen also, as she has knocked it out of the park on her first two tries at motherhood and is just getting into her prime years of production. The 2022 born heifers are an extremely exciting group as we feel they can go out and be competitive show heifers for folks of any age and then can turn around and be productive cows for their new owners. The bred heifers on offer this year are a group thats truly exciting as in both the red and black sections, they carry exciting genetics and services that will help to quickly clip the coupon they are carrying. These females are bred for the long haul and we believe carry as much earning potential for their new owners as anything we will see.
We hope you can make plans to attend this combination sale for the Keystone Klassic group as its sure to be a fun, eventful afternoon for the whole family. If you are unable to attend, we recommend reaching out to the consignors to ask any questions you may have on the offering and if we at Bohrson Marketing can be of any service, do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns. We are always glad to help. We hope to see you in Brandon at the Keystone centre!
Red ACC Tibbie 94C is a tanky powerful cow with a proven track record. We retained her 1st heifer calf Tibbie 25E who has become one of our top producing cows. Sold her 2nd calf in our bull sale and her 3rd calf in the 2019 Red Round Up Sale to Triple H Cattle Co. 94C also sold through the 2019 Red Round Up to our friend Grant MacLeod. We flushed her successfully in 2020 and have a really nice set of ET calves by her born this year. She currently has 13 registered progeny and has put length of body, performance, structural correctness and a dark hair coat into all of them.
Red ACC Tibbie 28K is very similar to her sister that we sold to Triple H in 2019. She is one of our heaviest heifer calves this year with a fantastic coat of hair. This is our 1st set of calves off of Black Wheel Dracarys 178E since purchasing him through Wheeler’s Sale and we are thrilled with them. They all have a little added thickness and depth as well as excellent feet. 28K is going to be a beautiful angular powerful female just like her dam.
Here’s a heifer we struggle to part with. 639K is from the first generation of calves out of new herd sire – Red Sixmile Hurricane 124H. We love what this John Wick son has done with his first crop of calves! You could pick them out in the pen as babies as the stocky, hairy, tanky units and they have definitely come off pasture in the same manner. This female has the capacity, the foot structure, the femininity and a sweet disposition to boot. Its been a pleasure working with this heifer! And juniors, don’t forget that 10% incentive, because this just might be the 4H project you have been looking for!
A dark red daughter of our red carrier Resource son and our 629D cow. She came in-dam through the Sunset Ridge Red Angus Dispersal and both her and her mother have been great to us. She had a bull sell to Prime Ridge Stock Farms and another daughter sell through this sale. The Resource daughters make up some of our very best of our young females and our largest group of bred heifers this year. They have fabulous udders and are the right kind to raise the great ones.
Miss Berry is one of the first of only two heifers to sell off our exciting herd sire Red Emmat Creek Assasin 804F. We really appreciate how structurally correct and eye appealing this heifer is. She is off a first calf Mulberry daughter that also has Crimson Jewels and the very productuve WRAZ Tibbie family in her pedigree. Miss Berry has loads of potential with endless possibilites in her future. See you Sale Day!
This dark cherry red Assasin 804F daughter has it all going for her, she is long bodied while maintaining a strong top line and attractive smooth front end and ample hair. There’s a lot more to appreciate about this heifer when you consider her pedigree which goes back to breed greats like New Trend, Rough Rider and the great Logan 109L cow. Don’t miss out on this heifer. Don’t woulda, shoulda, could have.... you can!
A soft made, easy fleshing granddaughter of Rip zone. Her sire, Footprint was Reserve Senior Champion Bull at Agribition 2019 and we sold ½ interest in him to Moose Creek Red Angus. 42J’s dam was purchased out of the Masterpiece Sale from Horner Cattle Co. She is a hard working female and her son will be a feature in our March 8, 2023 Bull Sale. Ruby and Reba cow family proven Mar Mac genetics. She sells bred to our new calving ease sire, Red Cockburn Simplify 1104. This grandson of Seneca and out of the Famous Cockburn Cora Cow Family, we are excited to add to our program.
Dark cherry red daughter of Ripzone. As founding member of the Keystone Klassic Angus Sale, we like to exhibit top end females. This is a female you can build your program on. This broody females’ mother was purchased out of the Keystone Klassic Sale from Rooke Farms. She sells bred to our new calving ease sire, Red Cockburn Simplify 1104. This grandson of Seneca and out of the Famous Cockburn Cora Cow Family, we are excited to add to our program. This should be an exciting mating.
A beautiful daughter of our Pokerface son that we retained to use in our own herd. Pokerface 907G is a larger framed bull that walks on a great set of feet. His dam has raised some great females that have both been retained and have been selected for some fall sales in the past. Red Fraser Miss 352A is a great daughter of our Brylor Roughrider bull that has left us a great set of functional daughters. She has a tremendous udder and this one will follow suit. 1103J carries an early service to our Red Flying K Arrow 262G bull that is impressing us more and more every year as a “fabulous heifer bull that leaves outstanding feminine daughters.
Here is Chantel’s favourite heifer! (Ok, maybe mine too!) Queen 429H comes with an all Canadian pedigree that you won’t find everyday. Ripzone, Tiger, Ribeye, how many more great bulls can you stack together into one animal? Ripzone 89D is one of my favourite all time bulls. It is very rare to find a bull that looks that good, especially for that many years, and most of all he consistently sires calves that are every bit as good as he is.
We have admired Assasin since day one. He offers the complete package; smooth front, strong wide top that flows down into a deep body and flank. He stands square and travels so freely you can’t help but step back and just appreciate all this bull offers. We used him on heifers with no assistance and continue to ai our heifers to him. He stamps his calves with correct structure from the ground up, they have tons of hair and growth all with the same eye appeal he possesses. This is an opportunity not to be missed. Canadian qualified, not exportable at this time.
Insight 442F is a moderate framed cow with a ton of volume. I purchased her mother, 858Z from the Johnston/ Fertile Vally sale in 2013. She was a big, powerful cow that passed on a lot of calving ease and depth of body to her calves. 442F’s first calf was our high seller in the 2022 Mar Mac & Guests Bull Sale, and her second calf is a beautiful heifer in our breeding program right now. Here is a cow with some experience under her belt, that has proven she can raise great calves!
Jemina 405H is a long bodied bred heifer that is sure to raise some big, powerful calves for you! Her sire, Merit Stony Creek 7035E, has been a foundation sire in our herd and was known for his docile temperament and length of body. A large number of females retained in our breeding herd are sired by Merit Stony Creek. Bred to SAV Rainfall, your next herd bull could be in her belly!
Here is a heifer that is sure to grab your attention! Thick, deep bodied, and super feminine, Lark 426H is the complete package! Her mother, 4C, was purchased from Sandy Bar Ranch and has been a stand out cow her whole life! This heifer is a rare combination of calving ease, performance, femininity and eye appeal. This heifer is another great Merit Stony Creek daughter, and is sure to stand out in your program. A moderate framed heifer who has lots of middle and natural thickness. Just an end of March heifer who has been maturing very nicely. I kept this heifer last year specifically to be sold as a bred heifer. She has been shown all summer and did well. You can’t go wrong with a Tibbie heifer. She is starting to show that she will have a nice little udder. She is carrying a SAV Rennovation grandbaby inside of her that should make it an exciting offspring.
7J is a female with great upside. She is out of Divergent and a HI Definition daughter. Divergent is a good footed bull out of a beautiful uddered MAR Innovation daughter. 7J is pregchecked safe to Coleman Triumph which should make for an exciting calf. AI’d April 21 to Coleman Triumph.
just can’t help but appreciate the overall capacity, length and volume of this powerful Firebrand Daughter. Her dam is an absolute powerhouse and is a favorite with everyone that sees her.
just can’t miss with this beauty, she is carrying a valuable service to Coleman Triumph
is laying down a beautiful udder.
Rose 2108 is a phenomenal Bravo daughter that is very hard to part with. Her dam is a beautiful, hard working daughter of the great SOO LINE ROSE 1019. You will love the dimension, rib shape and broodiness of this front pasture female. She is laying down a gorgeous udder and is carrying an early service to the breed legend Renovation.
We are very pleased to offer one of our top end bred heifers to the long standing prestigious sale in Manitoba. This Coleman Bravo daughter has been a stylish standout all of her life. She is a moderate made female with ease of fleshing ability. Duchess 31’21 has a great deal of style and eye appeal and very correct in her own structure. She appears to be setting down a very nice udder underneath her as well. Her Dam is a beautiful made Sting daughter with high udder quality. The granddam of this bred heifer is still working at the age of 14 and is set to calve herself for the 14th time bred right up early. She not only put a bull in the bull pen but a high quality bull in the bull pen. If the females behind this bred female matter and they should, a lot of high marks need to be placed on this females score card! We mated this female to Hf Roper 27F and we truly believe this mating has the chance to be very good. We would love to answer any questions you may have about this female and the history behind her. Don’t be scared to reach out!
Ossawa Jolene 413J I am excited to offer this daughter off of my 2019 Keystone Klassic purchase, Mainstream Dolly 4F! This is the second daughter she has raised for me and has quite the bull calf at her side this year. 413J exhibits good depth, long body with a tidy udder. Jolene will definitely catch your eye and take your man!
Ossawa Lois 370J is a very pretty, well put together YON Deep Ridge daughter. Clean and smooth through the head to her shoulders. Finer boned, very feminine appearance. Solid foot structure and travels like she knows she looks good.
Here is a very impressive final answer daughter out of an elite Bismarck dam. She is an extremely feminine female who is laying down the foundation to be an excellent dam. This is an opportunity to invest in one of HBH’s finest female families stemming back to the Brookmore herd.
Style, structure, body and hair 32k has it all. Her young EXAR Rock Solid dam knocked it out of the park with her first heifer calf. We bred a handful of our top end young cows to Square B Atlantis 8060 and are extremely impressed with the stucture, depth and design his heifer calves have. Study her pedigree carefully, shes stacked with alot of many time champions and breed influencers like EXAR Winnie, Roundtable, First Class and many more. 32K is part of our show string thing fall and will make a perfect jr project for anyone who likes to show.
Here’s a heifer calf made the way we want. Correct and right in her lines. Deep and bold ribbed with that extra muscle expression in her hip all while maintaining that clean front look we all like! Sired by the curve bending HF Roper bull her numbers align the same way. Jestress 7K is the type that you can have fun showing this summer then take home and get in production.
heifer calf consignment is one of many really good Coalition 343F daughters we have this year! There maybe no other bloodline that is being requinized so quickly as the Coalition line. We love the sire of this female for his length of body, high quality foot structure, masculinity and docile temperament. The mother of this female was the pick of the Harvest Angus heifer calves in 2018 as we purchased the right to that choice through the Canadian Foundations building the Legacy sale. She is now turning into a very nice mother cow adapting to the flat land life of the prairie!
This stylish show prospect is out of a big volumed Angus Beef daughter that has a beautiful udder. Sangria 224K is very correct, long made and phenomenal udder structure. She will make a beautiful and profitable addition to your breeding program.
This is one heifer calf that I am going to regret selling. Martin Bohnrson toured the calves and picked this one out immediately. I purchased her mom from The Mar Mac dispersal last year and this is what she was carrying. WOW! This heifer is packed full of thickness and muscling and has been a standout since day 1. These Cassidy females have been amazing. I purchased her half sister in 2020 from Mar Mac in the Keystone sale and she weaned off one of the heaviest bull calves with her first calf this year. This is one that you will not want to miss out on!
18K has been a standout looker since birth. She has explosive rib shape, width over her top, and endless amounts of length+depth of body. All put together with exceptional structure and a show stopping front end. Her dam 115E has been an exceptional producing female with a daughter retained in our herd, a wicked SAV Renovation son in our yearling bull pen, and 18K highlighting her production. 115E is a moderate framed Ring Creek Force 90Y daughter with an amazing udder structure, skeletal structure, and power to boot. 18K will raise high quality seed stock progeny for her new owner. She is kid broke, and ready to make her new owner proud.
36K is a powerhouse of a Brooking Firebrand daughter. The amount of rib shape, depth & length of body and dimension this heifer possesses is incredible. All packaged up with a chiseled front end, sound skeletal and foot structure, and that beautiful “Angus” head. Her dam 72D was purchased from Glasman Farms as a bred heifer, and her production record has been solid with 2 bulls in the bull pen consecutively. 72D is a mid to large framed SAV Pioneer granddaughter, with lots of capacity. Standing on a great set of feet and legs, and a picture-perfect udder. The Firebrand calves have been a standout sire group on our farm, and 36K will leave her mark as high-quality producing female. She is also kid friendly for those juniors looking for a competitive show heifer. She is Elijah’s pick.
A nice sized heifer, easy keeping with great hair. Her dam is an embryo from YDF BELIEVE 46B and MLSF 2041Z. She is a very successful donor dam at Maple Lake. The grand dam Maple Lake Richelle 5099 is our foundation female donor for our Angus program and our Simmental 1/2 blood and simmental herd foundation.
