It all started in 1986 with the purchase of a bred heifer from Circle T Limousin followed by a few more over the next few years. I did a small amount of showing which allowed me to meet alot of good people. I sold a few females through select sales and bulls at sales and off the farm. The herd would have gotten too large in the last few years if it wasn’t for Brandon & Samantha Nemetz making significant purchases. The calves have had 8-way Clostridial and Bovi-Shield Gold One Shot plus Ivermectin at weaning. The cows have had Ivermectin at preg checking. I also have to thank Vera Wheeler and Roger Neale for all their help over the last number of years. Things would not be what they are without their help. Ken Gillies

Welcome to the Ken-Doc Limousin Dispersal. This sale will offer a truly outstanding herdsire, big strong cows that milk, a solid group of bred heifers, a deep set of 14 bulls with a wintering program available, and the 2021 heifer calf pen is as great a group as I have come across. Most of the 2021 calf crop are “Fantoms”. Ken’s family farm is 10 minutes west of Saskatoon and grain and liverstock has always been the emphisis for the Gillies family. The Bohrson family has known Ken for over 50 years. First on the ball diamond, next as our vet, and then came Ken’s involvement with “Limos” selling select females and bulls across Canada. Ken’s reputation as a great vet and astute cattlemen cannot be questioned. Most dispersals are bittersweet but Saturday, November 13 will be a day to recognize and congratulate Ken on all he has done for the ag community. We decided not to put footnotes in the catalog as these cattle speak for themselves. Please make an effort to attend sale day or stop at Ken’s farm for a tour ahead of time.
