DLMS farm Gate Timed Auctions https://farmgatetimedauctions.ca 1. Visit https://farmgatetimedauctions.ca, then click on the LOGIN/ REGISTRATION button. First time users will select the REGISTER button from this page. Fill out the registration form to signup for a free user account and it allows you to select a username and password for use on all Farm Gate Timed auctions. This program will send you text and email messages whenever there is activity on your favorite lots or someone challenges your proxy bid and this is why you will be asked for both your current email and cell phone number. If another bidder is on at $3600, your proxy will no longer be effective and you will no longer have the winning bid on this lot without once again logging in and bidding again or moving your attention to a second lot of interest.
4. At closing time of the sale the entire sale will extend bidding for 5 minute if a bid is placed on any lot in the sale. Any bid received after 6 PM will extend the sale by 5 minutes from the time of that bid. When no bidding occurs for 5 min the computer will declare the sale finished. 5. Within 24 hours of the sale close the Sale Manager, Bohrson Marketing Services will contact all winning bidders to arrange payment, transfer of pedigrees and delivery/Pick up of your lot. What is racehorse style sale close? Racehorse style sale close is when the entire sale stays open in extended bidding. This type of sale allows you as the bidder to change to a different lot within the same sale if the bidding has gone in to extended bidding. how will extended bidding work? When we get to the close out end time the clock for close extends with any bid placed with less than 5 min on the clock. This type of extended bidding turns the end time to more of a soft time. Extended bidding allows bidders to compete in lots like a real auction and give all bidders the same time to make a decision. Always follow the clock to see how much time remains in the sale you are interested in.
Welcome from the stewart family We would like to send a hearty welcome to all our fellow cattlemen for our second annual bull sale. Our fully online sale will again be conducted on DLMS farm gate as horse race style close. This year has presented many challenges to all and we feel very fortunate to be in agriculture again, especially in these times. We often hear breeders say and it can seem repetitious that they have the deepest set of bulls they have ever had. However, thinking on that statement, we feel it is appropriate for us again this year as it means we are progressing and improving. Here at Greenvalley we don’t ever want to be content where we are. We always want to push to better our program and to deliver the quality you as a cattlemen demand from us breeders. This year we made a few changes in our program and the results were proven at weaning. We were fortunate enough to have the pasture and water sources we needed to graze but, as many other we are hoping for every bit of moisture we can get for the upcoming season. We are still flushing cows and implanting give or take 60 embryos. Our donor program has not only grown with Canadian Donors but with our herd females as well. We have flushed a handful of our top cows that have proven to us over time that they are the cornerstones of our herd.

The bull pen is developed on native grass all summer where lots of exercise is promoted. These bulls are gently developed and are certainly right for the times. Delivery
We will deliver the bulls to central points in Western Canada by April 1st. Transport of bulls not taken on scheduled delivery runs will be the buyers responsibility. For bulls headed to the Eastern provinces the transport cost will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Greenvalley Ranch will assist in arrangements for the cattle to be shipped to wherever you are in the US, at the buyers cost. All bulls sold to the USA will be charged an additional $250/bull to cover testing and border crossing costs. Payment for export cattle must be 50% prior to testing, and the balance will be due prior to shipping.
Payment Options
Bulls must be paid for in full before delivery. Please call Hugh prior to the sale if you would like to make alternate payment arrangements. The right of property shall not pass until settlement is made in full.

Right To Semen
Greenvalley Ranch reserves the right to collect semen at their expense and the buyers convenience. Any semen collected will be for Greenvalley Ranch’s in herd use only, unless specified in the terms of sale of a lot.
Hoof Trimming
No feet have been trimmed on any sale bulls.
bull warranty
All bulls are guaranteed to breed, semen tested and vet inspected, and under a full herd health program. The Standard Canadian Simmental Association guarantee applies. We do not warranty against injury or illness after the sale, and encourage the use of insurance for that purpose. Greenvalley will have replacement bulls on hand to cover your breeding season should an issue arise with your bull. Under no circumstances shall Greenvalley be responsible for more than the purchase price of the sale animal.
purchaser’s risk
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. In an effort to protect the buyers interests, we strongly recommend insuring the bulls. There are many insurance options available, including a 6 month plan to get them through their first breeding season.
