Bull Sale • February 12, 2016 • 1:00 p.m.

A

nother truly amazing year in the livestock industry is in the books. Last springs bull sales were phenomenal, followed by a record breaking commercial calf market, strong demand for cull cows and bulls, as well as tremendous female sales in both the commercial and seed stock industries. As we did see a sharp decline in the feeder market the last month of 2015, one still can’t deny, these are some of the best times we have ever seen in the cattle industry, and continue to be an extremely bright light into the future. As I welcome you to our 17th annual bull sale, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed by the support and acceptance we have received from the livestock industry in our breeding program. We have always strived to produce simply the best, and with our numbers where they are I feel we can be ruthless in our culling program, and offer numbers of superior quality genetics to you the producer. I feel that this group of bulls is the strongest from top to bottom that we have EVER offered, with a slight increase in numbers. To put it into perspective last spring we bred just over 400 females, some of the cuts and decisions we made were tough, to get down to the 90 bulls presented to you today. We have also added a couple new sire groups into this years sale, and will continue to see a balancing act of new and old genetics in our program, to offer more diversity.

As in the past few years we are once again teamed up with Boehringer on our health program. We work very closely with Gull Lake Veterinary Services, as well as Lee & Myles with Boehringer to offer you an elite health status you can’t find just everywhere. We have now taken our health protocol another step further as our entire herd is now on the Express 10 program to just offer that much more in health quality. Also a big thanks to those of you who took advantage of the spring discount program this past year through “Boehringer & Anchor D Ranch”, as well as those of you who marketed your calves on the “Anchor D Ranch sired calf sales” this past fall. For our first year it was very successful, and I see continued growth for it in the future. Watch for those fall calf sale dates to be announced later this summer. Thanks for believing in us. The bulls themselves are on the same feed program as in the past, being fed a TMR cereal silage ration. Due to dryer conditions this past year this group of bulls did receive creep feed from August until weaning. This is an extremely powerful set of calves that offers as much diversity as in the past, if not more. They are all backed by the Anchor D guarantee, and promise, to supply you with the best customer service we possibly can. We understand the purchase of your next herd bull is a serious investment, and we have not only bred these bulls to last, but fed them to last to maximize their genetic input into your herds. We extend our invitation to join us February 12 for a great Alberta bred steak prior to the sale. If you are unable to attend sale day, or wish to view the bulls prior to the sale, feel free to stop in anytime. We look forward to seeing you Friday, February 12, at Anchor D Ranch.

‘Maximus’ was without question one of the greatest herd bulls we have ever had the opportunity to own. His docile nature, ease of fleshing, natural muscling, large testicles, dark red color, and excessive hair coat are traits the majority of his offspring possess. Another trait we are learning he seemed to transmit, is not only his fertility, but his breeding ability. As a yearling he bred 34 cows, and became our go to guy, receiving the biggest work load each year. He was a bull that if you weren’t there when a cow was standing, you didn’t see them get bred. A super aggressive breeder, but an absolute gentleman to be around, and work with. From the reports we have received about his sons out working, they appear to be super breeders as well. Bulls like this to me are of added value, as they cover the ground and can service a larger number of cows. We unfortunately lost this great bull this past fall, so his sons will soon become limited, as we have a small semen bank stored on him. We felt as though it was appropriate he deserved the lead spot in this years catalogue. A bull that will be greatly missed here, but his influences will last forever.

Hustler is a bull that will add power, performance and growth to any set of cows, and still leave a top notched set of replacement daughters in the process. His dam is a fabulous cow from one of my all time favorite cow families that traces back to the famous Miss Knight 156S cow. In fact Hustler’s dam happens to be a half-sister to Entourage, so you can see this cow family does have a heavy influence in our program. An extremely solid bull to be this years lot #1.

Priority also comes from a stellar cow family in the famous Helga cow. We did only have the one Helga daughter, as a result of an embryo we purchased, however the Helga cow family has been very present in our herd, through many great sires over the years. Priority will give you those extra desired pounds in the fall, as well as those thick hair coats, loaded with pigmentation, and added extra length of spine. He is an extremely solid bull that just continues to improve every day. Make him a high Priority for your herd sale day.

Fortune & Fame are a set of twins from an outstanding old cow. We purchased her from a herd dispersal in Manitoba, as an older mature cow. We knew she was a solid producer, backed by a tremendous cow family, and adding some different genetics into our herd in the process. These sons, should pass on her tremendous attitude, add milk into daughters, moderate some frame size, yet maintain pounds and growth, and be super easy fleshing and low maintenance. We were fortunate enough to have a couple full sisters added into our herd, and they look as though they are going to be outstanding young cows.

Raptor is undoubtablely one of this years pen favorites. One of the poster boys, and a bull you can’t help but find in the pen. He comes from a great young Barbossa cow that is destined for greatness. Her first calf was a smooth polled Epic daughter, who sold to Oakview Simmentals, MB this fall, for $11,000. Raptor is just her second calf. Like his sister he too is polled from a horned sire, and has been an absolute standout from birth. His pedigree, and EPDs all say he will be good, and more importantly I know he will be good. Herd bull time, Raptor.

Carlton is a member of the great Herlinde cow family. His grandmother Sonita, is without question one of my all time favorite cows. She is 13 years old this year, and has produced as many front end contenders as any cow in our herd. She still has one of the best udders in the entire herd, maintains her condition, and is truly a happy cow, and her daughter Liita (Carltons dam) is a carbon copy. I would look at Carlton to add maternal traits and longevity, as well as low maintenance, easy fleshing and calving ability. A very versatile bull that can be used on a huge selection of cows.

Dark red, heavy pigmented, and as good of hair coat as you will find. Beaumax is an absolute stud, and comes with a complete outcrossed pedigree on his bottom side for us. She has sons working for Hannaford Simmentals, and Bruce & Cindy Groeneveld, as well as a couple outstanding daughters in our herd. This is a bull I score very high, and has lots to offer.

Winchester is a big raw power performance bull that will produce a huge set of sale topping steer calves that will have that extra length of spine and huge hips much like him. I know I am talking about the performance side, but do not hesitate to keep as many of his daughters as possible. They will be good, and as I said if I could have a herd of cows like his dam I would, they are absolute money makers.

Not to be outdone Top Hat, has not only held his own but blew past lots of the competition in the pen. We only had 3 direct daughters from her, as we purchased her as a mature cow from the Arnold Brothers herd dispersal in South Dakota. I’m certain if you were to look at footnotes from the past on any of 72P’s calves they would pretty well read the same. Off of one of our very best Native Son daughters, great maternal, lots of growth, moderate framed, broad topped, deep sided, great footed, easy fleshing, top quality calf. It wouldn’t matter which sire group they came from either, that is just the consistency of this cow. Mesquite will be the 8th son in our bull sale from 72P with past sons going to Walt & Val Hedges, Gary Buelow, Big Valley Simmental Ranch, Dwayne Patterson, Rick & Evelyn Sanderson, Gerald Wilsie, & Paul Kinnee. Absolutely no guess work here, this is a great bull.

Interestingly the last 3 bulls all have a typical story. They come from solid producing cows that do it on such a consistent basis. Carson will be the 7th son in the bull sale from his dam. Previous sons have sold to Ferrybank Colony (x2), Steve Mounkes, Bill Orlick, Marc Boisvert, and Peter & Cec Dykstra. These calves have also come from a multitude of different sires. If you want consistency, buy one of these Epic sons from cows that do it over, and over again. Carson is yet another of those very bulls.

Focus is a smooth polled bull that combines performance, with calving ease. He is from a young Barbossa cow that produced a full brother last year selling to Rob Sweet. I have to admit when Focus crossed the scale, we backed him off, and re-weighed him, as I didn’t realize he was as heavy as he is. Just look him over though, as he is extremely long, and very solid made. A real nice smooth fronted bull with the added bonus of being polled. He is a bull that will bring home big pay cheques, with a tremendous set of steer calves.

Not trying to sound like a broken record, but another typical Epic stamped calf. Concho is a big time performance dude that is as deep and soggy made as they come. Somewhat of a different twist from many of the Epic sons, tracing back to a Stride daughter. I still say to this day Stride was probably the best footed bull to ever grace our pastures. Concho should have that same great foot structure, and produce an outstanding set of females that will last forever, and a powerful set of male calves that will be loaded with red meat. An absoluter awesome specimen.

‘Mr. Gibbs’ made his presents known in this year’s sale. He had a very nice debut last year, but totally stepped up to the plate this year, producing our high selling female in our fall production sale, and I think you will agree one of the strongest sire groups in this years bull sale offering. Mr. Gibbs is a bull Garren raised and sold a few years ago to Tony Sanderson. We jointly use Mr. Gibbs with the Sanderson’s pulling double duty, and servicing two sets of cows each year. He is a great breeder, with a teddy bear like attitude, which he transmits onto his progeny. Look to these Mr. Gibbs sons to add growth, hair, pigmentation, length, and maintain superior maternal traits as well.

I become a bigger fan of Bayonet every day. I truly appreciate the muscle mass, the solid top, and loose made nature of this bull, combined with a thick wavy hair coat, and a true laid back Mr. Gibbs attitude. He is a bull I suspect will consistently sire those average birth weight calves that will be low maintenance, and have tons of growth, and eye appeal. A big smooth made dark red bull, loaded with pigmentation, great feet & legs, superior length, modest birth weight, huge performance, great pedigree, and a tremendous hair coat. In my mind Casino is an elite bull, who will add to an established program, or help put someone on the map. When you consider the return on your investment on these front end bulls, it seems like a logical choice to step in and buy them when you find them, more often than not, we have seen that first son or semen sales pay for the whole purchase. Utah is this year’s heavy weight. He is a massive individual that will add the pounds on, but also look how well balanced he is. He comes from an outstanding cow family, and honestly has everything going for him. His dam was dry the year before, as she had broke her shoulder on pasture, and then dumped her calf. I guess that says how much we thought of this young female to take the time and nurse her back and give her that extra year off. It may account for some of the extra birth weight and performance, but give credit where credit is due, Utah has the genetics to be a power house. He won’t just sire heavy weight calves either, he has as maternally bred pedigree as you will find.

Gibbons is another stamped son of Mr. Gibbs. There is so much consistency in this set of calves, I presume these sons will breed very much the same as their sire. Gibbons dam is a bit more moderate framed, but still backed by a powerful pedigree that should transmit ultimate growth, as well as a stellar cow family, he will add value in retaining daughters as well. There are no frills, just straight goods. We have had several of these Remington daughters over the years and frankly he is a bull we haven’t used enough, as these cows are productive. This pair is extremely good, and certainly don’t sacrifice any performance. They will add thickness, and big broad tops, and produce a set of steer calves that will top any sale ring in the land. I am certain most of you will remember Gold Brick from last year’s sale. Premonition is his brother, and not to be outdone, he too is a big solid made power bull, that absolutely squashes the scale down when he steps on. His dam is a larger framed power cow that just delivers time and time again, producing high sellers in both our bull sale and female sales. I really like this cross, and the potential it exposes to exploit the absolute best traits from both sides. I’ve got a Premonition this will be a bull you will want to score high on this springs shopping list.

A more moderate framed bull in Predominant, coming from a top cow family. Longevity is certainly stacked in his favor, as his grand dam entered our donor program this fall at age 16. She is as sound as sound can be, and we have always had intentions on flushing her but never really gotten around to it, so I left her open this summer so there were no more excuses. She started her career off with a bang raising Narcissus as a first calver for $14,000. I suspect the dam of Predominant will very much follow in her dams footsteps. She is without question a front pasture cow that always looks like a million bucks. Good solid young bull here.

The first thing I am going to encourage you to do is check out the birth date on Ignition. He gives up nearly 2 months to the good majority of the pen. His dam has produced many feature calves in our sale over the years, including Kings Ransom (Kulyk Simm, SK), Camouflage (Hidden Dream Farms, ON), Fake ID (Battrum Cattle Co, AB), and Scooter (Diamond Rio Ranch, AB). Ignition comes from a cow who can raise some of the best, and I dare say in a later sale this spring, this bull could very well be a front end contender. Be sure to have a serious look here, he may be over looked somewhat sale day, but don’t get caught flat footed when he comes through the sale ring, this will be a great one.

It truly is unfortunate for this young fella that our sale is so early. In my mind he has been an absolute standout from the day he was born. Considering his age disadvantage in the pen, I think you can’t help but realize how outstanding he really is. When the bulk of our bull customers turn their bulls out this guy will be more than ready to do the job, and I would also guess the buyer will be thanking their lucky stars for such a great purchase of great value. There is little doubt in my mind, whatever he sells for sale day, this would be a bull worth double that in a couple months. Use that to your advantage and strike when you can.

“Windsurfer” certainly created a buzz at last year’s sale. He is a bull that will add major performance, as well as strong maternal traits at the same time. He is an absolutely impressive mature bull to look at. He is very structurally correct, with a huge foot, and endless muscling. Look to his sons to add sheer power into a calf crop. They will add length, put massive tops on their calves, and great muscle patterns. Having said all that, you will love the steers, but the females will also be mind boggling good.

Beaumont comes from a really productive young cow we purchased from Ferme Sibelle in Quebec. This is her first bull calf, but the females she has raised to date are exceptionally good. Like the majority of the Windsurfer calves, Beaumont will add extra growth and power, yet still be reasonable birth weights. Also note the extra length of spine this sire group will possess. Just plumb good.

He too is backed by a great cow family, stacked with lots of maternal, and longevity. We are actually flushing his 16 year old grandmother this spring. Briggs comes from a female we actually sold in our production sale as a bred heifer, to Matt Buschbeck. Matt had a bit of a change in directions, so we purchased her back, and she melted right back into our program. Briggs dam traces back to an absolute top notched cow family that raised numerous great commercial bulls for us over the years. If you have a smaller, more British based group of cows, then I think Briggs could be your ticket to provide a superior blend to maximize dollars from your calf crop in the fall.

San Antonio is a dark solid red bull, from the great sire Houston. I suspect this will be as well rounded bull as we may have in this years offering. He should be able to do a bit of everything, providing some calving ease, performance, strong maternal, and add that extra muscle shape into a set of calves, with an impeccable pedigree as well. As you see from the previous footnotes, his dam Lindsay, is a cow that has ran the gauntlet of bulls, working with everything we throw at her. She is a cow that moderates birth weight, but maintains power. San Antonio provides a very unique opportunity.

Hera has been a phenomenal cow for us over the years, and honestly should have been placed into our donor pen way earlier than she has been. She is 16 years old and still going strong, however I do think time caught up with her a bit this past year, and between the combination of a tough spring, and older cow, and not getting to grass early because of a flush schedule did set Waco back a bit. We thought of various AI sires we’ve used over the years on heifers, and then had the light bulb moment. As I stated with Heist, Barbossa pulls the big shift in the heifer pen. He has become a mainstay in our program that we just have so much faith and confidence in. Not only do we know we have built in calving ease, but we also have built in marketability. We continually brag about Barbossa’s calving ease, and freakish growth that accompanies it, but more importantly is HOW GOOD his daughters are. WOW!!! You want to make a set of females, they are wicked good, and it appears they can be crossed with a Sherman tank, and they will make them small, and they grow. We are so blessed to have this great herd bull in our program, and we have been asked numerous times if we would sell him or semen. He has been kept exclusive here, and the way to access him is through his progeny. Buy his sons with confidence, they may not all be heifer bulls, but they are all calving ease bulls for sure.

Boeing is the first of the designated heifer bulls in this year’s sale. He is a really cool made bull, made very similar to his sire. His dam also has built in calving ease through both Regis & Herlinde (Antonius), and the whole family is known to moderate birth weights. Not only that though, but this is also a great pedigree to work with, as far as marketability. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind if there is a breeder out there looking for that bomb proof heifer bull, that can also provide extra dollars to be gathered in the end product, Boeing is the bull. Please note he is registered polled, but he is scurred.

Bank Roll is another heifer approved bull. Very moderate birthweight again, and from another calving ease bloodline on the dam’s side. He is a little better than a 3quarter brother to Boeing, as both trace back to Antonius as well. So once again completely stacked pedigree to ensure calving ease. I know it’s a bit different looking at these heifer bulls, especially when they are standing next to the big power bulls but just remember their purpose. A good heifer bull is not the easiest thing to find, and they are worth their weight in gold. We also discovered at time of clipping he is scurred as well.

Banshee should calve well on heifers, as he is a very smooth fronted, clean individual, with just a bit more performance and horse power. His dam is a real sweet female, from a tremendous cow family (see lot 3&4). As I talked about with Barbossa, not only is he a great calving ease bull, but we are really starting to appreciate his true value through his daughters. I believe Banshee will be very much the same, as the females he produces should be superb.

It seemed only appropriate to name a Barbossa calf Sandman, as you should get extra sleep when you use them on your heifers. Sandman comes from the Desiree cow family, who has had a huge impact on our herd. She left a number of daughters, and granddaughters behind. A couple things that is very consistent with them, is they all seem to have excellent performance, and they all have a tremendous disposition. 75% of them just decide on their own they want to be pets, Sandman’s dam is one of those, and is without question a family favorite. Also keep in mind the longevity factor, as Desiree was here until 18 years of age. Sandman is a solid choice.

Yet another great heifer bull candidate from Barbossa. Atlas is from a full sister to the dam of High Noon. This is another cow family that has heavily influenced our herd. Atlas is a very uniquely marked bull, and at clipping time it was discovered he too is scurred not smooth polled. Non the less, what he is bred for is to deliver babies, with the utmost ease, but he too will provide added pounds on those calves off of first calvers, and once again do not hesitate to keep several daughters from these Barbossa sons.

A little added performance in Commence and a classy individual as well. This is a beautifully crafted young bull, from a phenomenal Maximus daughter. Commence has a really nice blended pedigree tracing back to some of the new greats, and the old classics. His grand dam is a cow we purchased as a bred heifer from Eagle Ridge, and is always a favorite when guests are pasture touring in the summer. This fall we sold a full sister to the dam of Commence to BBBG Group in Quebec. No doubt if we wouldn’t have already had a full sister in our herd she wouldn’t have been offered for sale. This is a real solid bull, with calving ease bloodlines.

We were very fortunate to have been able to use Tortuga’s sire, Gunner naturally on a group of heifers his first year. You may remember him from 2 bull sales ago, where he was our high seller that year, going to Alta Genetics. Terry graciously allowed us to use him while we were waiting for some blood work to pass, and got him primed up before entering stud. Although we personally didn’t have a large group of calves off of him, as he serviced many sale heifers, the ones we had we were very happy with, and like his sire Barbossa, Gunner proved to be an extreme calving ease specialist. Tortuga is a blood red bull, very smooth fronted, and exceptionally well bred. A very solid choice for your next heifer bull.

I am loving our Maximus daughters, and his dam has an all star packed pedigree, which makes Maxmillian that much more appealing. His sire Imax is certainly a bull that has gained a lot of attention in the industry, and has been utilized in a wide variety of herds through AI. He is a bull that does offer calving ease, but if you wish to use him on cows the power is there. Maxmillian should breed very similar, a very versatile bull.

We purchased the sire of Dominance, Maltese, as a mature bull. Unfortunately for us, his race had been run, and was only shooting blanks from his pistol. Therefore we were only able to utilize his service through AI, and his influence will be very limited over the next couple of years. Dominance comes from a really super young cow who traces back to Montana. We only have a limited number of Montana daughters but they are super productive. This young cow had a really nice Mojito son in last year’s sale, going to Peace View Colony, BC, and she looks as to have produced another really nice bull this year. Very good middle of the road bull that can be used on exotic or British cows with great results.

Another really complete bull in Sherwood. Very much the same story as the majority of the Maltese sons, bulls you can use on a huge variety of cows, Black, Red or Tan, British or Exotic, they should stamp them one after the other. Very easy bulls to breed with, they will be low maintenance, and highly productive. Sherwood stems back to Saphire, so I suspect he should be extremely easy keeping, and with Regis there as well calving should be a non-issue as well. If some want a bull you can turn out with the cows and let Mother Nature calve them out for you, Sherwood could be your choice.

Beowulf will no doubt add some power, and size, extra rib shape, and lots of muscling. He comes with a great hair coat, and from a cow with lots of milk, in a tidy udder. A very nice combination for a potential breeder bull.

Wisdom is a bull I grow to admire more so all the time. A very well balanced bull who exhibits lots of natural thickness. He is very similarly made to Wolfman himself, and very much resembles him as a yearling. He comes from another really nice young Parkhill cow, who traces back to Dr Pepper. She is highly productive, moderate framed, with a great udder. This is one of the red bulls you will want to have a very serious look at, another very solid useful rancher bull.

Red Rock has a bit of a disadvantage on his yearling weight. As I’m sure anyone who has fed a pen of young bulls you know someone in the pen will have a boo boo. He hurt his front foot about a week prior to weighing and was pretty tucked up when we weighed. He is a bull that was admired all summer, and was in the top cut of the purebreds. Be sure to look him over sale day as this is a stronger bull than what he reads on paper and in the picture, coming from a really solid producing cow.

Crusader is a full brother to our high selling purebred female this fall selling to Lewis Farms. His dam has been a very, very solid producer that just quietly gets the job done. The type of cow that you could have 100 of and never go wrong. Crusader is a very typical Wolfman son, in the same body type and muscle pattern, that same thick hair coat, and just a very user friendly type bull. You can never go wrong with a bull like Crusader.

War Party is a bull I am personally very high on. A stellar cow family, (grandmother is dam of lot #3&4) and a bull that will sire both an awesome set of steers and replacement heifers. I’m going to suggest if you want a red baldy bull to keep commercial females off of this is a solid choice. He too is another bull I would use without hesitation on either British or Exotic cows.

This is the final calf for our 73N cow. She was one of my favorite black cows, very productive, easy fleshing, always looking in mint condition. Crossfire is another very typical Wolfman calf in style, with the difference of being one of the few blacks. Long bodied, with lots of thickness, and should continue to get stouter all the time, as his dam was a very capacious cow. Lots of milk in this pedigree as well. Another bull that will excel on a wide variety of types of cows.

This would be my personal pick of the red bulls, and has been since birth. His dam is a beautifully made cow, and comes from a great cow family, and is out of Galaxy. Galaxy was our very first red bull, and due to numbers wasn’t used likely as much as he should have been. The handful of daughters we have are extremely good. Fortitude will provide extra thickness, and depth of body, combined with a bit more performance and the ability to push down a little harder on the scale at weaning time. Fortitude will be highly productive, and deserves the opportunity to showcase what he can really do.

We purchased the dam of Bootlegger from the Sniders out of the Pasture Treasures sale. She is a beautifully crafted female who milks extremely hard. These are our first calves by Bootlegger, and he appears to me to be a bull you can use with confidence as a calving ease bull, and the cattle really develop well over time. I would suggest this is a bull to retain several daughters from, and if you don’t remember his dam when we purchased her you may want to see her again. She is really quite good.

Red Force is a baldy bull I would use with confidence on heifers. We purchased his dam as a bred heifer from Maxwell Simmentals. She is a Fleckvieh female that is backed by lots of performance. Red Force is a moderate framed bull that will be very easy keeping, and very low maintenance. I suspect he will mature at a modest size enabling you to use him for an extended time frame on heifers. Don’t be fooled by all this though, as I said earlier his dam is backed by lots of performance. Red Force will be extremely versatile.

King Louie has done a fantastic job for us. I really like his shape, his easy fleshing ability, and his versatility. As our purebred numbers are smaller we needed a bull we could use on both our cows and heifers, with good results. King Louie has certainly done the job for us there, and is complimented with a very useful pedigree. With the loss of Wolfman this past year King Louie will see a much larger workload next year. Look to his sons to add thickness, moderate birth weights, and for the most part moderate some frame size as well. They will be easy fleshing, and very very low maintenance.

Every year our old 183P cow spanks out a very marketable calf. Never at the front end, but always consistent, with lots of growth and power. She is an extremely heavy milking cow that is a very nice natured cow to work with as well. King Arthur should produce a rock solid set of steer calves that will excel in a feedlot. They will have tons of power, and is a bull you can use on some smaller framed cows to give them a little more oomph. Always a solid choice.

King Mac is a bull that when you really stop to analyze him you appreciate him more. A nice put together bull that is just plain right. As I said his dam has been extremely productive for Mackenzie, giving her a sale animal every year. King Tut is a pen favorite for me. Super thick, moderate birth weight with good growth, a bull that can work on your heifers or cows, homozygous polled, and backed by a superb cow family. He has the look, and I feel the potential to be a great herd bull. The King Louie x Wolfman combination is a cross we have done several times, with excellent results, and pretty well stamped like each other. King William is our only black Louie son. He is a smaller framed bull with a big rear quarter, good length and a strong top. His dam is a very nice moderate framed Superior daughter that I think will be a very productive cow as she matures. At the time of writing these footnotes, she has an outstanding black Super Duty calf that is very special. King William traces back to our top black cow family, and is bred to calve well, and make them thick. If you have a bigger framed set of heifers, that is where this guy will excel.
