We have offered the pick of the bull pen in all online sales and we will continue with this offering for Futures Edition 9. This year will be our hands down the best offering and depth of of bulls we have ever had. There will be approximately 12 bulls developed this winter from our 90 cow herd. Red, black and lotsa baldies to consider from our top cows. There are breeder bulls in this year’s group. Four of these bulls will be on display at the RAWF. One is on the side of our two year old, who has a chance to win it all. We should actually with the quality this year be offering first, second and third pick. We weighed the bulls Sept 1, with a range of 780 lbs (Feb bull) to 1020 lbs. Pick to be confirmed by Jan 1/17. No bulls have or will be sold prior. This is the pick of all bulls born after Dec 1 2017. The balance of the bulls go to our Keady bull sale that is always the first Sat in April every year.

Right from the lead off of our show calves last year, this Crosby yearling, will be the best bred heifer we have ever sold. A class champion at last year’s RAWF and from a hard working, well uddered dam that will be entering our donor program next summer. A favorite in our yard since birth because she has bull mother potential in her design. This yearling is setting up a very nice table underneath, add her dimension of her spring of rib and bottomless depth , she can make the goods one. Look to the breeding. Having one of the first Equity calves in 2019 should be very profitable. Her maternal brother is one of the potential top picks in our pick of the bull lot. AI breeding to VCL LKC Equity 608D Mar 18. A solid, honest bred female that will mature into a hard working well uddered cow. The influence of our previous Stoughs Legacy bull is evident. His progeny mature into the best cows on the farm, they just need your patience, but the reward is worth it. The Legacy based cattle maintain their youthfulness and will be cows that have longevity, great udders with abundant milk production. A Destiny Buckeye yearling with Joker and the 505H cow influence on the bottom side. We breed for that extra depth and spring of rib to predict more rumen capacity and conversion of roughage to milk. This female exemplifies our commitment to making powerful mother cows. It’s encouraging to see in multiple sales where Destiny bred dams are producing the lead off females and bulls in their respective production sales. A Broker show prospect heifer that has the chrome and style to get to the front. This heifer is halter broke and comes from our well proven show ring genetics originating from the Ms Deck family. With the Expo Beouf and multiple grand champion RAWF granddam being no other than Twain herself, cross it to Broker, and the potential is infinite. The Mike and Kade Early herd bought a Broker bull from the Twain genetics and produced last year’s RAWF champion female. These genetics are very proven in our herd and multiple others. Open

All our open heifers this year were selected as being comfortable as a show project. This long spined, cleaned fronted female was selected. The Admiral 16A bull has produced many great ones, highlighted by the female exhibited by Fusion Livestock successfully as a reserve calf champion RAWF 2016 and doing well this year as a two year old. Again, add that shot of Broker, the JF Latisha cow influence and a little full flechvieh, this gets more predictable. The Spades granddam is pictured, look at the quality of udder and power that is here. Open

A maternal sister to Panda and a solid heifer in her own right. She is smooth made and attractive throughout. True Black’s dam is as squarehipped and easy doing as any cow we have. The Captain Black daughters that we have are all impressive and he adds the great Captain Morgan and TLG Flirtin With You to the genetic mix. Bred a little later with more time to develop, True Black would be a great fit for a spring calving program. Her service to Cobra sweetens this lot even more. Bred AI to Cobra on May 26, 2018 - no exposure Preg checked safe

A fancy Stepping Stone out of a high selling Stubby daughter from RPCC a few years back. Lots of rib with a ton of neck extension, this is probably the coolest show heifer prospect we have ever sold. The comments on these Stepping Stones are that they just keep getting better and look great as breds. The kids have been playing with her a little and she is tie broke. Get this one bought and be ready to have some fun on the show circuit next year.
