welcome from bohrson marketing

The Friday Night Lights sale has truly become the place to be when it comes to acquiring the very best of the best from some of the most recognizable breeders in the Country. The Simmental fraternity is one that is a strong, tight-knit one but is also always very open and welcoming to all. We are proud of this and the fact that anyone can step into this exciting breed and have success with it. We are also very proud of the folks that make up this sale and those who have helped establish it into what it is today. Without the support of those that consign cattle, bid on them and purchase, none of it would be possible. Every yard we drive into and every stop we select at, folks never hold anything back and thrive on bringing their very best. The friendly competition amongst the barns is intoxicating and we truly tip our hats to each and every contributor to somehow raising the bar of quality more and more, each year. There truly is something in the air at FNL and we invite you all to come and experience it December 19th in Olds, AB at the Cow Palace.

The 2025 offering for the 14th annual sale has again somehow found another gear. The special herd bull on offer as Lot 1 has just come off a big week in Manitoba at the Ag Ex claiming Grand Champion bull calf in the jackpot over all breeds as well as Grand Champion Simmental Bull. His mother is a past FNL sale feature and speaks to the quality always on offer through this sale. His full sister, lot 1A has just recently won a brand new side by side at The Immortals and claimed the Ultimate Legends Championship at Farm Fair. Lot 3B alongside her mother, just won the Alberta Supreme Championship at Farm Fair International. The amount of other heifer calves on offer through this sale that have won classes and divisions this past summer at various shows and this fall at Manitoba Ag-Ex, Lloydminster Stockade Roundup and FarmFair International is staggering and very long to list and with a full week still yet to come at Canadian Western Agribition, we anxiously await cheering these females on. As impressive as these banners and accolades are, the even more exciting thing is the cow families they represent. Whether it’s the very neat multiple lots represented in various cow families at the beginning of the book or the depth represented amongst other prominent cow families right to the end, we are so proud of the cow power that is shown throughout these sale heifer calves. They are built for all aspects of the industry, proven show winners and destined donor females and powerful brood matrons will be highlighted in this calendar year calf section.

The bred heifers at FNL are typically smaller in quantity but oh so large in quality. We have seen umpteenth amounts of females come out of this section of the catalogue go on to become cornerstone females for their new homes and in many cases, leading donors that make huge impacts. These females hail from the same household cow family names as the popular heifer calves and carry exciting services to ensure you clip a quick coupon on your investment. Black, red or fullblood, this portion is loaded with quality and we encourage you to study them very closely. They are everything that makes a Simmental mother cow so popular, soft made, easy doing, beautiful uddered and sound structured and they truly are the next generation of female to take your program forward.

We hope you can join us for an exciting few days in Olds & area for a lineup of really great sales. FNL 2025 is sure to impress and if you have never experienced the cattle and people there before, we highly encourage it. Please reach out to anyone listed if you have questions on the offering and require any assistance on sale day or prior. We would be happy to help, but would be most happy to see you on sale day. We hope to see you there.

Best regards,

Tactical: carefully planned, calculated, and designed for success — a name and definition that sums up the journey behind this exciting herdsire! Tactical represents the kind of purebred Simmental genetics that will move a breeding program forward. Sired by SVS Rancher 42H, Tactical combines explosive growth and herd bull power with the balance, structure, and cow family backing demanded in today’s industry. His dam, Brooking Emmy 3101, was a $50,000 heifer calf through this very sale in 2023 when we partnered with Luke & Jordie to immediately make her a cornerstone female in our programs. We started the wheels in motion and IVF’d Emmy shortly after purchasing her, and the natural first sire selection was Rancher. As the saying goes, we love it when a plan comes together—and Tactical 9N is exactly that. Smooth-made, long-spined, and deep-bodied, he carries himself with the calm disposition and commanding presence of a true herd sire. He has been a calf that has stood out for his type and performance like no animal we have ever raised. He was the Grand Champion Bull at Ag-Ex in Brandon earlier this fall and took the All-Breeds bull calf jackpot there also. His full sister, WBC Emmy 36N, has dominated the female side of shows this fall by winning calf divisions and jackpots and she helps complete the equation to remove any guesswork from Tactical. These are the only two calves from this mating born in 2025 and they reinforce our excitement for the future of Emmy 3101. Tactical is the best bull we have ever raised, from the best female we have ever worked with, and we are so excited to showcase

There has never been a footnote I have looked forward to writing and regret having to write more than this one! Emmy 36N has taken us on a wild ride this fall, if my crystal ball would have told me it was going to go the way it has we might have not committed to selling her back in August. We knew we were going to sell one of our two Emmy 101L daughters, one’s a Boomer and then the Rancher. When Fornwald’s said they were going to sell the full brother to the Rancher it sealed the decision that we would sell the full sister. She has been Immortalized, she’s also the 2025 Ultimate Legend and has stood in the Champion Female drive at the 2 major shows she has attended up to this point. We know it’s about more then just the show ring and with the way her dam has turned into a great Momma cow we can’t wait to see how gorgeous 36N is going to look in 2 years time. 36N is long spined, has a big rib and swoop to her middle third. She ties high out of her shoulder into a beautiful front end. Her mass is unmatched and with so much width over her top she’s definitely a head turner. We have been fans of the Rancher progeny from the get go and the fact that in one generation he has created a hetero black Emmy is a huge bonus. She may be our once in a lifetime heifer and we are very excited that she gets to carry on the

LOTS 1B - 1D We all know that ranching is filled with its ups and downs, but when your best laid plans come together it reminds you why we do all of this. For us, the birth and development of these 3 ET sisters has been one of the most rewarding parts of a great 2025. Like everyone, we loved the Emmy cow when she sold in the Family Matters sale in 2023 and we sure thought her daughter C-D Emmy 2655 was a special one. I still have a Snapchat memory of her in the picture pen and how amazing she looked. When her embryos sold in NYR 2023 they were high on my radar and those 3 sexed embryos resulted in these 3 special females. I have to give my brother in law Brandon credit for being the extra push to keep bidding on the embryos together. So if you’re wondering why we are selling all 3 of our Emmys, it’s because they are partnership heifers, they are awesome, and we

think the whole story is quite cool! We feel lucky that Riley Bohrson wanted to help us campaign Emmy 514 and she ended up winning the competitive Senior Calf Division at Farm Fair. 515 is her similar type with frame and power and added blaze face. 523 is the moderate sister that is really unique and continues to improve as she grows up and I think has a really neat future with her pretty, feminine, balanced type. Here is your opportunity to invest in one of the greatest modern Simmental cow families combined with the now legendary RF Caliber. 100K tested/ parent verified. Consigned with Brandon Sparrow

LOTS 1E & 1F A pair of full sisters that are very elegant in their design, have added length of body, and are very fluid in their movement. Their dam was purchased out of the family Matters sale as the first pick of the Emmy daughters for $19,000. We feel a pedigree that adds a bit of a twist and outcross, with Private Stock on the top side, and the well proven Bramlets/DBLG Emmy donor on the bottom. Their sire, RF No Limits, needs no introduction as he is raising some of the best cattle across the breed right now. 87N is an absolute beauty to analyze, with her extra style and class, her added structural integrity, and how effortless it is for her to get up and go! 41N patterns very much the same as her sister, however probably expresses a tick more rib shape, a bit more stifle muscle, and she too is very athletic and sound on the move! Not that the show circuit is the most important thing to us, however if you were looking to leave a lasting impression on a judge, here is two heifers that could do some damage in

To say this female exceeded our expectations when we first seen the pregnant recips in Canadian donors online sale a year ago would be an understatement. One that is hard to let go of but definitely looking forward to seeing what this female has in store for her new owners. Definitely one that has a very unique and new pedigree and one that has been an absolute pleasure to work on as she has been the most docile calf we have ever worked on. Her dam needs no introduction as she is the past sale highlight for $110,000 for 1/2 interest. This one’s future is bright and one that is definitely an eye catcher to everyone who sees her.

STS Emmy 106N has been an exciting ET calf to watch develop. As our first female to sell under the STS prefix, we couldn’t be happier to offer this granddaughter of the $220,000 valued Emmy G930. She represents the kind of quality, consistency, and cow family strength we aim to build our program around. Her pedigree is stacked with some of the most influential genetics in the breed — RF Caliber 041G, Emmy G930, and WHF Summer 365C — making her a female with exceptional potential. WHF/JS/CCS Woodford J001 brings a refreshing outcross for the Canadian industry, with progeny south of the border standing out for their udder quality, foot structure, and overall balance. It’s not easy to part with a female that combines this level of structural soundness, femininity, and eye appeal, but if you’re going to sell one, you might as well sell one that’s going to make a great one. We’re eager to see the kind of impact she’ll make in her new herd. 100K tested.

LOTS 1I - 1L After the stir Bramlets DBLG Emmy G930 caused in 2023 for Canadian Sires + Donors and for all who marketed progeny out of her, we stumbled across her own mother selling in the Ground Up Sale that same fall. We immediatley jumped at the opportunity to purchase the factory to one of the most beautiful cows we have ever seen and have never looked back. Our immediate response to getting this cow bought was to make full sibs to the great Emmy G930 so she was flushed to Hammer Time 35D and that’s what you will find in the 20N and 22N females. These females both have a tonne to offer in all aspects of the industry. They are striking with their up headed personalities, hair coats and structural integrity. They are easy to appreciate in a show ring setting and have all the correct fundamentals to follow in their big sisters foot steps to lay down perfect udders while standing on strong feet. Both 20N and 22N could be a pile of fun to showcase for the rest of their show careers and we believe will be highly successful.

Caliber daughter is a performance orientated female that just screams brood cow. Her no miss pedigree and phenotype make her one you will want to study. 92N of course is closely related in blood to the females that dominated FNL 2023 where we seen 5 sisters average well over $50,000. This Caliber daughter is all you have come to know and love about Caliber offspring, coupled with the great Image donor, she is sure to impress for years to come. 173N is an HPF Quantum Leap Z952 female that we feel is a great blend of the Hammer Times and the Caliber. She is super long spined, cowy and still very attractive. A dual purpose female no doubt that you can hang a halter on but most importantly one you will be counting down the days to get into production. We feel these females all have something a little different to offer but still all come together under the high quality column. Heres a chance to step into some baby sisters to arguably one the most talked about and heavily influential donors of the breed, Emmy G930.

RF Scream 5117 is what happens when a disciplined plan comes together. She is the result of stacking 9 of our favourite and most prolific donor cows into one pedigree that stretches well past the 3 generation pedigree that you will find online. Not only are the 9 donors in her pedigree cows that worked in our program, but if you dig deeper they are dams that have put sire after sire into the Simmental breed that have had an impact. 5117 is a maternal sister to the $100,000 RF Intensity, the $70,000 RF Intense, and the $50,000 RF Adrenaline and 14 other brothers that are working in some of the top commercial and purebred herds across Western Canada. She has extra body, extra extension and presence, and the generations of beautiful udders that line her pedigree should have that locked in too. She combines true growth and performance with EPD’s that rank her in the top 1% of the breed for WW and YW and does it in a package that screams cow power. RF Scream 215Z was the high seller at the inaugural Friday Night Lights sale in 2012 so it is only fitting that a granddaughter would sell through this same ring 13 years later. We think RF Scream 5117 is elite, combining being so “cowy” and so “cool” at the same time and is truly bred to have the potential to have an impact.

We haven’t shown a pair since we showed her grand dam, RF Scream 974G, as a two year old so Kade decided to halter break a fresh 2 year old pair this summer. 5141 was shown along side her dam where they were Champion Female at the YCSA Wildrose Classic and Canadian Junior National All Breeds Show, Supreme Champion at the UFA Youth Supreme Quest and Champion Simmental Female at the Olds Fall Classic. Most recently they were Champion Simmental Female and Supreme Champion Female at Farmfair International. Her Dam, RF Scream 3121, is a full sister to the $100,000 RF Intensity 3142, the $70,000 RF Intense 3144 and a maternal sister to the $50,000 RF Adrenaline 4134 and to date, 14 half and maternal brothers to 3121 have averaged $29,400. This red blaze is as stout and powerful as you can make one and sure has been a fun one to watch grow. 1N is overwhelming in terms of her shape and mass, yet ties it together with a feminine, up headed look. 1N may be the highest performing female we have ever raised. At the ground, this one is big legged and steps down on a large square hoof. 1N’s dam was the high selling female to Double Bar D for $110,000 for 2/3 interest at the Family Matters Sale a few summers ago. She too was admired for her incredible feet and has an impressive udder, which looks to be passed down to 1N. The Flirt cow family has been synonymous with elite and high quality cattle year after year. Whether its in the show ring or bull and female sales, Flirt cattle rise to the top every time. Her sire, No Limits was also a past high seller and has bred true and consistent in many different cow herds in Western Canada. 1N has 3 high performing, heavy muscled full brothers in the bull pen that have been fun to watch grow and develop as well. Here is your chance at an intriguing red blaze female stemming from a predominantly black pedigree that’s been proven repeatedly.

RF Flirt 5143 is a February born heifer that really should have been in the show string this fall but wasn’t a heifer we originally planned to sell this year. She’s moderate framed, has extra extension, presence and is a bold sprung, stout female with awesome tit placement. Her dam, 250K, was a Friday Night Lights high seller in 2022 to Westman Farms and is quickly establishing herself as an elite donor that you will hear a lot more from in the near future. Anyone that toured the bull calf pairs this summer saw the 5 full brothers to this female and they will be features in our 2026 bull sale. Her sire, RF Intense was a $70,000 high seller to Grass Roots and Muirhead Cattle Co and his pedigree is lined with some of the most productive and best cows that have ever walked our pastures. Not only that but Intense’s full and half sisters are becoming the next generation donors in our program. Not only is 5143’s pedigree lined with generations of prolific cows but if you take a quick tally, there is 5 past Friday Night Lights high sellers in her 3 generation pedigree that are all making their mark on the breed. If you want a pedigree

with great donor cows and a phenotype to match, check out 5143.

This sale wouldn’t be complete without a descendant of 202Z who sold in the very first Friday Night Lights sale. This granddaughter of 202Z is the powerful, stout kind of female that is bred to raise bulls and does that without giving up look and femininity. Her Bentley dam has been an outstanding producer in her first 3 calves. Last year she had a $26,000 Magnitude son selling to Packet Brothers and Les Schick and her first calf was a $30,000 feature halfblood bull in our 2024 bull sale. RF Flirt 1102J is on the short list to flush next year and we’ve already flushed a red full sister to her, RF Flirt 162J. Her sire, Boomer, just adds to the maternal power with the potency of his dam, RF Flirt 850F. The Boomer sons have been exciting to sell but we are even more pumped about the first set of Boomer daughters in the bred heifer pen and can’t wait to make cows out of them. We truly believe that stacking our best donor cows into one pedigree locks in the predictability of type, udders and production and 583 stacks 9 donors from our program into one pedigree.

An exciting female for the first ever Simmental to be offered from the Arthur family! Certainly Flirtin 2N is an own daughter of the simply impressive 532C who at nearly 11 years of age is still as easy doing, flawless uttered and powerful as ever. She has been known to kick out herd bull after herd bull but when you do get a heifer calf they are always incredibly good quality and very hard to pry out of peoples hands. As this being the Arthur’s first ever Simmental female, they wanted to sell their best and she is just that. Moderate framed, very balanced and complete would best describe 2N. She is an absolute peach to be around and is even the youngest of Junior member appropriate. Super haired, big fuzzy ears, ideal teat placement, deep sided and square hipped, we think 2N is very exciting. When we seen the embryos in the NYR sale and realized we had an opportunity to purchase embryos off such a great donor female, combined with one of the most intriguing black bulls in the breed, LFE Cabaret 847J we couldn’t pass them up. We were fortunate enough to end up with two calves out of this mating. We were big fans of KT Flirt 2423 when she sold through FNL. We tried to purchase her but came up short, so we took advantage of the opportunity to purchase embryos by the outcross, baldy performance bull, RFS Heavy Hitter. 21M is a beautiful female that was also on the short list to go to FNL as a calf. She is strong footed, big topped, nice uddered and attractive. We really like her kind and are extremely confident in her pedigree. She is bred early to Rust Good Times who we have successfully calved on heifers. The calves come small and easy to get up and grow. They are moderate, hairy and definitely the right kind.

Deeg Simmental

Deeg Ms Sage 3N is one we think is pretty special. She ties it all together not only on paper but more so in the flesh, one that is hard to pick a hole in from any angle. She stands on a big square hoof and is extremely fluid on the move while balancing power and presence elegantly. Her pedigree needs no introduction as two of the most prominent red donors are so close. Sage 506C’s long list of accomplishments is on fire and shows no signs of burning out anytime soon. She is a female we take a lot of pride in being able to walk and thankful to own with tremendous partners, the Libke’s and Bohrson’s. Full brothers to Sage 3N were the talk of the 2024 bull sale season where two of them cracked over the $100,000 mark and more recently one was slapped FarmFair Grand Champion bull. Two full brothers are also the highlight of our red bulls this year. It’s not easy selling the direct Sage progeny as we try to carry on her legacy but knowing the impact 3N could have for a program makes it more worthwhile.

RF Caliber will go down as one of the most impactful sires who has the ability to sire some of the most desirable progeny both in and out of a show ring. Sage 13N we feel is a prime example of his strength of siring stunning females with power and capacity. With 13N we add in the predictability and potency of Sage 506C, who needs no introduction as her stat sheet only gets more admirable as time goes on. Four full brothers highlighted our black bull offering in 2024 and were equally impressive. Deeg Iron Sights 77L is one of the full brothers to 13N and has been a consistent and impressive producer for Harvie Crest. Sage 13N is bold in her design in terms of muscle shape and rib expression while maintaining athletic ability. She is a very attractive, big bodied female with a near perfect udder. RF Caliber 014G is one of the best breeding bulls in the industry producing progeny of both sexes that are in great demand and very successful. The guess work in this offering is all but eliminated when you consider the genetic combination on offer. Check out this deep bodied red baldie who is backed by strong maternal traits. We sold a heifer calf off 156N’s dam Darlin’ 10J at FNL in 2022. We have also been campaigning a dark crimson red yearling bull off of 10J this fall that we call Erixon Prodigy 24M. This is a neat twist on pedigree as the sire of 156N was one of the top Walk The Line bulls at MRL. It’s pretty cool to have a double shot of the original Darlin’ that started it all. Darlin’ has 90 registered progeny to date and has more than proven that she knows how to produce the good ones. Her track record is unreal and we are sure proud of what her and her progeny have accomplished.

Twin Springs MATERNAL GRANDDAM

Here’s a female that has been a standout since birth just like all the Darlin’ progeny. You have to admire 20N for how much mass she has yet still feminine up through that front third? We flushed 20N dam as a heifer calf because of how much she resembled Darlin’ 4H she is huge bodied, good teat placement and awesome haired. When we got thinking about flushing 13L we knew we wanted to do her El Dorado because he’s back by a good dam and sired by tycoon who has left the breed with many great females.

We thought it was only fitting to bring a couple Darlin 907J females to FNL to represent our program and what a pair they are. The 515N female is the first ever female we have sold out of the $100,000

RF Intensity 3142 bull that we own with Canadian Sires. Intensity is everything you look for in a power bull… big framed, big footed, big topped and big potential out of his first calf crop. The 515N female herself has a great disposition with that extra hair that her momma has. When looking at her from the profile it’s easy to see the extension she has through the front third and big swoop she has to her belly. A heifer that moves with ease with an ideal set to her pastern. We just love these Darlin females and for good reason.

You may remember a Darlin 2.0 female that led off the Family Matters sale a couple years ago eventually commanding $80,000 to Havencrest Farms. 518N would be a full sib in blood to that powerful female. Our Darlin 907J donor is an absolute rocket and we believe her story is just beginning. This Rancher daughter has always had that up headed “cocky” look to her to go with added length of body, but what may be most impressive is the width over the top and power this heifer possesses. Making one this pretty, yet this powerful is no small feat.

This one could arguably be the best we have ever created yet. Her flushmates are true standouts and we think they are the most intriguing and consistent set of siblings to be born at the farm and they are admired by many who have toured. Coming straight out of the most famous and valuable sire in our line up WF Capital. On the bottom side coming right from our highly sought after Darlin donor that is out favorite cow around here. Her sire was a many time champ and remained undefeated as a calf and went on to sell for 240,000 later that fall. Darlin was campaigned successfully as a bred and made a lots of friends over the course of the last few years. 288N has already been off to a hot start being crowned Champion hiefer calf in Stars of Tomorrow in Olds a month back. She was recently selected as senior hiefer champion and reserve champion Simmental female at Stockade! She has all the right pieces, a perfect combination of pretty and power all in one design. She’s super balanced, extra stout, elevated fronted, big footed and as sound as they come with a breathtaking look. We think this mating is the best thing we have ever produced and we are so excited to see this one in a couple years time. Ones like this aren’t just fun

We can’t say enough about these Darlin hiefer calves as they are complete standouts. The coolest part is to see all the impressive full sisters back in the replacement pen. They are the perfect way to describe the ideal build of how a female should look. They are super cool looking, long bodied, big time haired, highly productive and have the most ideal teat placement. 252N is built extremely well, big middled, sound, stylish, extra stout and fuzzy haired. Sired by the heavily used Caliber that worked tremendously in every program. Calibers are known for how incredible his daughters are and Darlin is known best for the same reason. Maternal sisters sold last year to Rancier Farms and Canadian Donors. Maternal strength is locked in to the fullest right here. The only red of our 3 sisters selling but I sure think some people might think that’s a bonus! It’s a little overwhelming during the last few months trying to pick a favourite of these 3 and we came to the conclusion we couldn’t. Everyone who stopped in and toured had a different favourite and battled trying to pick a hole in the 3 sisters which was cool feedback. Our main goal around here is when it comes to selling one is we want to see our customers thrive with the cattle we sell so we offer our very best for FNL. We truly think the build and design of 251N is exactly what we are trying to pin down around here. One that is elegant yet powerful, balanced and long bodied, with a perfect foot and udder development. If you have the time before the sale we encourage you to stop in and see a couple full brothers that we rank extremely high in the bull pen as they are as blood red and you can make ‘em and heavyweights in the bullpen. Females like this are the backbone to raising a big time herdbull and we think her potential is as high as any.

This darling has been a favorite since she was born and i am honoured to be able to showcase her at the prestigous friday night lights sale. Her mother came right out of this sale a few years back and has turned into a beautiful female and has passed those qualities onto her daughter. This calf will be admired for her spring of rib, hip, muscle shape and power with beautiful udder development and teat placement all while showcasing a feminine attractive look. A stacked pedigree with Darlin, Tycoon, Stratton, and High Roller this fall born female has the extra age size and the appeal to catch anyones eye. Homo polled by parentage.

Her pedigree is proven, predictable and full of promise. Black Gold Ms Soda Pop 90G is no stranger to the winners circle, or the festivities of FNL. She was along side her dam for a highly successful fall show season, that was capped off with being a $55,000 FNL sale highlight. KT Soda 5126 is the kind of female that will a lot of fun to campaign over the next couple of years. There is no doubt that when asked what my favourite FNL memory is it is the year we sold “Polly” 409F and to this day she may be the best thing ever put into production at Mark Land and Cattle. All In 203L is a bull that has no shortage of look and as a sire he’s proving that he is more than just good looking – he flat out works! There’s not a whole lot of Bet of Red genetics in Canada, so here’s an opportunity to source out beautiful female that goes back to him. 35N’s dam, 39H is a no miss cow. She has raised two bull sale bulls, a favourite bred in the replacement pen and now this heifer. 35N is so correct in her skeletal structure. She’s good footed, sound, feminine, stylish and all kinds of functional. She is also really gentle and nice to be around. We are all in on raising functional females that thrive under real

and 35N is no exception!

17N is a truly exciting heifer calf coming off the top of our 2025 heifer pen. A capacity daughter that we think has as much future and potential as we’ve ever raised. The bottom side of this pedigree has a little different twist but still has a proven track record. Three generations back on her dam’s side are all females that have worked for us to show the true testament of longevity, fertility and predictability bred into this female. She’s a female that has lots of rib shape and power while maintaining a balanced and attractive look. Following the footsteps of the females before her, this heifer stands on a good foot and gets out and hits her track with ease. The cherry on top of this heifer is her quiet disposition. This is one we’re proud to offer, be sure to check her out on sale day.

540N is an exceptional heifer resulting from the impressive flush on our red blaze donor from Beechinor Land & Livestock with RF Caliber. This KWA Red Italian sired donor has done such a great job in her young career, producing attractive and eye-appealing daughters alongside powerful, masculine sons. We are so excited about this flush and our pen of 3 bulls for Agribition is made up entirely of 540N’s flushmates. 540N is long, pretty, sound, and has that Caliber hair coat as well. There are great females throughout this pedigree and with the overall quality of this flush, we have a ton of confidence in the future of this great blaze faced beauty.
