We are proud to present the 2015 edition of the Friday Night Lights Sale to you and the consignors have raised the bar even higher once again. Each and every year we brag on the breeders that have built this special event by offering the heart of their herd; it isn’t easy to sell their very best upcoming cornerstone female but they continually to do so and showcase the progress of their program.

QUALITY - FNL Sale is very proud of the strong phenotype that it has to offer each and every year. The 2015 Sale is represented by many banner females that have won awards already this year at PA-EX, Olds Fall Classic, Lloydminster Stockade along with many summer Jackpot Shows. FarmFair has just wrapped up and the FNL Sale cattle were dominant in winning majority of the classes and sweeping both Heifer Calf Division Championships along with the Reserve Champion Female being a past FNL sale female. We wish everyone success at the upcoming Agribition Show but we have always stated that it isn’t the show ring that we have selected FNL females for. We strongly live by the motto “Turn a cow into a show heifer rather than try and turn a show heifer into a cow” and select females that will work long term as production females. We feel the results of past FNL females that are now in production speak volumes about that approach.The females selected for FNL are most importantly designed to be hard-working momma cows that you can build a program with.

CONSISTENCY - As you flip through the FNL catalogue you will see the consistency of the offering of well-balanced, feminine females that have natural dimension and performance backing them. As there is 23 consignors to this year’s sale; the pictures in the book have all been taken from different kinds of cameras, during different times of the year in different backgrounds with different techniques but it is still easy to see there is the same consistent quality throughout, this will be evident to everyone in attendance sale day when thay are all under the same roof. Whether they come into the sale ring first or last, the quality runs deep and there is something for everyone.

PEDIGREE - Cow families are the backbone to every successful operation and we are excited about the depth of pedigree in the 2015 offering. When one thinks of the Simmental industries very best cow families, many are represented here and there is too many highlight pedigrees to list. The purebred cattle are as stacked in proven families as one can make and they are combined with some of the great bulls in the industry. The Fullblood offering screams cow family and proven pedigree!

As we wanted to ramp up the Fullblood section for 2015, we knew Fullblood breeders follow pedigree very close and we feel we have 7 representatives that are very deep in high quality genetics. One of the cool things in this year’s sale is the large amount of FNL alumni females that are represented through their daughters which proves the strength in strong pedigrees.

PROFIT - All breeder’s are in the business to make money and we are proud of the return on investment from past FNL purchases. As we started to research past FNL sale animals with strong production, the list quickly grew.We have already planned to have these FNL Success Stories in next year’s catalogue as their impressive ROI is worth being proud about.

Whether it is the $25,000 202Z female that Westman bought from Rancier in the first FNL and has now won a FarmFair Supreme truck plus marketing $3,800 embryos from her and last year’s $44,000 high selling daughter with 5 daughters in this year’s sale … or a female like Yara that Rust Mountain View Ranch bought from Beechinor Bros for $14,500 and now has over $60,000 in sales with 7 bulls in their upcoming bull sale … or Erixon’s buying a $2,200 heifer from Outlaw that matured into a strong female and sold her first calf to Springer Simmentals for $21,000 this spring.
