Welcome to the 2024 edition of Friday Night Lights. For over a decade the elite of the elite, both breeders and cattle, gather in Olds, AB at the Cow Palace for one of the most anticipated days of the year. There truly is a buzz in the air and the atmosphere is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. The combination of superior genetics and the greatest people in the industry all under one roof to enjoy Simmental hospitality is something the breed should be very proud of. The people that choose to make Simmental a large part of their livelihoods and apart of their lifestyle know exactly what we are talking about, this is a great breed with great people and we annually see this sale as an opportunity to get together with your Simmental Family and enjoy some camaraderie before Christmas. Please accept this as your personalized invitation to join us December 20th for Simmental weekend in Alberta as we along with all the great consignors and the entire Simmental fraternity would love to host you.

When it comes to gathering cattle for an event such as FNL, nothing is ever held back. What you see as you flip through this deep catalogue is truly the top of each programs respective operation. We are humbled by the amount of yards we drive into and the hundreds of people we deal with that are always willing to let, in many cases the best animal they have ever raised, go into this sale. This is credit to the folks that have been apart of FNL since its inception and have religiously committed their best to the sale. They have paved the way showing that when you bring your best to this grand stage, you reap the rewards.

We have had a pile of influential cattle sell through this very sale but do confidently say that the 2024 offering is as deep in quality and consistency as ever before. You will notice that lots 1-9 actually feature 36 head by the utilization of A-B+ lots in each lot number. We are incredibly proud of this. This just shows the consistent quality as so many prominent cow families have multiple lots in them. The power of cow families is impressive and we are equally as proud that many of the cow families featured are past graduates from this very sale. The Bred heifers on offer are a diverse set featuring red, black and Fullblood. They all carry exciting, industry leading services and have proven over the last dozen years to be a big time “bang for your buck” investment. Just recently the 50th Anniversary at Farm Fair featured the National Simmental Show where the Grand Champion female was a past sale featured through FNL as a bred heifer. There is a tonne of future in the bred division at FNL. As equally as impressive at the recent Farm Fair was the Champion drives for each Calf Division. They were polluted with 2024 FNL Sale calves. We feel as always the open heifer calf section of this sale has a tonne to offer. Obviously proven show heifers but most importantly females that have pedigree and predictability bred into them. These females are made to be production cows and have big time donor credentials backing them. We really get excited analyzing the heifer calf section as it is every breeders most recent and current result of breeding decisions and stacking elite cow families. We are proud to offer an exciting herd bull prospect at FNL once again, the 2024 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Grand Champion Simmental Bull, Oattes Ring of Fire 5M. An own son of the record setting FNL high seller, Walk The Line 92J.

Please make plans to join us for a some pre Christmas cheer and an exciting set of Simmental cattle on December 20th, 2024 at the Cow Palace in Olds, Alberta. This big time offering coupled with the people and the atmosphere make for this event not to be missed. It is Simmental weekend in Alberta and always a great opportunity to catch up with other producers and see some of the finest cattle that sell each fall. Our team at BMS is always here to help and if your unable to attend and have some questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, we would love to talk to you about this set of cattle.

We could not be more thrilled by the breeding potential within this truly versatile sire in the making, and are excited to share him with the public on the big stage - Friday Night Lights! Never before have we had another that’s received as much positive commentary and interest from breeders and judges alike, having been crowned Grand Champion of the famed Toronto Royal Winter Fair, among other shows he’s been exhibited at. OATTES RING OF FIRE 5M been admired for his ability to blend a remarkably sound structure and mobility with big league performance and power, all while maintaining an elite presence and herd bull character that is anything but common. This large scrotal, homozygous polled herd sire prospect offers incredible flexibility to a breeding program. This son of the $280,000 Mader Walk the Line 92J not only has the ability to stamp those big topped, bold ribbed, husky made sons that the cowboys will eat up, but his true value may just lie in the functionally built, attractive and low maintenance daughters he’ll sire; with Flirtin for Certain 37U, Iron Sugar, Darlin’ and Aubreys Black Blaze III, all part of his maternal lineage, you can bet on his maternal predictability to earn him a reputation as a generational female maker. This February born calf is the product of a most elite and proven female, OATTES SINFUL FLIRT 55F. She was a past YCSA National Classic Grand Champion Female, and Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Top 5 Supreme Finalist when shown as a bred in 2019. What’s more, she is a truly model type cow in production. She looks the part with extra capacity, shape, correct structure and ladylike feature while moving up her calving date annually, and having generated several elite/high selling progeny in recent years, OATTES RING OF FIRE 5M is the next in her list of accolades and undoubtedly her greatest to date. We invite you to visit with any of the Bohrson Marketing representatives or Craig and Jack Oattes to discuss this promising stud and make plans to invest with confidence!

RAWF GRAND CHAMPION SIMMENTAL BULL

Hoegl Livestock + Greenwood Cattle

One of the most successful sets of embryos we have ever purchased have resulted in these 3 full sib sweethearts. The Flirt 786E donor for Rancier’s was one of the most unique breeding females they had with her massive rib shape, perfect udder and long attractive front end. Unfortunately, the 786E donor is deceased but she has certainly blazed a trail with the embryos she had made before she left. Last fall at FNL a 786E daughter was an $80,000 high seller to Wallgren and Double RN and this past spring, 5 maternal brothers to these heifers averaged nearly $30,000! To say 786E is a production giant would be a far understatement and when you analyze all 3 of these daughters of hers, you quickly realize how well she transmits her greatest qualities. All 3 of these heifers posses added length of spine, depth of body and muscle. With as much base width and power as they have, they are all very attractive in through their front ends with upheaded, proud looks to them. The genetic combination of Flirt 786E with one of the most potent red breeding bulls from the last number of years,SVS Rancher 42H, was a home run in our eyes. Rancher has truly been a great breeding bull with the ability to make his sons look like masculine bulls and his daughters to look like feminine cows. His donor dam, Sammie is a top selection of the Canadian Donors line up and we believe the combination of the “Flirts” and the “Sammies” will be a no brainer with these 3 females. Whether you want a red or a black, we confidently believe in these females and just know they will play a key role for their new owners. Owned with Greenwood Cattle

It’s always exciting seeing a mating turning some heads knowing you have a few pregnancies cooking at home that are out of the same flush. 52M is a genetic sister to the high selling and Immortals champion female in 2023, RF Flirt 398. 52M is moderate framed but big ribbed and complete in her make up. She has the true “Flirt” head, beautiful hair and has a pedigree to race with the best of them. Her dam is productive as you can make them with 5 full brothers highlighting the 2024 Rancier bull sale. She’s just a baby with her February birthdate but we know she’s ready to prove her worth as a Flirt!

Lyseng Land & Cattle

We are awfully excited to bring our best to Friday Night Lights every year. 205M is a super powerful individual with lots of length, width and depth of body. She is attractive through her front third and has incredible teat placement. She is a direct daughter of RF 625D who is a full sister to one of the most prominent cows in the industry, 404B. Then you go to the next generations and you have 202Z and 37U. You can’t make one with a much stronger maternal pedigree. 205M was crowned champion Simmental at The Immortals in Stettler.

LLC CERTAINLY FLIRTIN

2434

With a proven pedigree and admirable power, LLC Certainly Flirtin 2434 is a true classic in every sense. 34M packs impressive bone, foot-quality, and stoutness, making her a standout in the pasture and a future producer of top-tier herd sires. Generations of donor cows are stacked into this long-spined and capacious female. LLC 34M continues the tradition of her exceptional cow family, showing the proven power behind her pedigree. LLC 34M’s dam is a full sibling to RF Certainly Flirtin 404B, a name synonymous with elite genetics and maternal excellence. Adding to her value, the RF Capacity females are highly regarded in our program, renowned for their unmatched ability to consistently deliver productive, powerhouse progeny. This heifer is truly the bull-making kind, built for power and longevity. We think extremely highly of 34M and think she has all the makings to leave an impact.

This bald faced beauty has the build, power and capacity of a genuine cow prospect with just enough “look at me” presence to get noticed wherever she may be! Her remarkable lineage combines the likes of 37U, 8543U, Miss Sugar C4 and HPF Rite 2 Luv 398D all up close, so you can count on FLIRT 51M to have the maternal performance you need when it counts. Expect to hear more from her young dam whose future looks extremely bright; a model type cow with a near perfect udder. Note that 51M also reads pretty handy on paper; charting in the top 5% of the breed for both the terminal index and all-purpose index... it’s all good, and her purebred progeny will be sure to impress!

These Flirty Magilcuty females are like gold to us, so when we let one go it ain’t easy. Flirty Magilcuty 7D has become our lead donor cow on our black side and for good reason. She is the mother of W2 Southside 2K who has become a house hold name in the industry. The daughters kept in herd are beautiful females, as well as two $20,000 high end females have gone to Wallgren Farms and Lewis Farms over the last couple years. The 406M female herself is beautiful in her design, big through that rib cage, but still elegant through her front third. She carries that added bone to her and sits down on what looks to be a big foot, just like her momma. Sired by Caliber gives this female a shot of Flirt on both sides of her pedigree.

Friday Night Lights is always one of the most anticipated events of the year, from the minute the catalogue hits the internet, to the many hours of studying, to the cattle getting to Olds, and the buzz around the barns and the excitement of the sale, FNL is always a can’t miss event where the best of the best sell. KT Sage 4310 is one of the very best calves of the 2024 calf crop at KT and is fresh off being crowned National Champion Simmental Female, at Farmfair, along side her beautiful dam SVS Sage 49J. SVS Sage 49J is one of the most cherished females on the entire ranch. 49J has been admired by cattlemen from around the world, for her picture perfect udder, huge body and rib, beautiful front end and awesome head. She’s the kind we want to replicate over and over, and the she’s the kind that stamps her calves with consistency and productivity. This past October, in our first production sale, we sold choice on 4 out of 7 full sibs to 4310, that averaged $30,625 to Mavv Farms, Bar CL & 2K Springs, Canadian Donors, and Agland & Bert’s NR. Sage 49J is a past FNL graduate, that has produced incredible ROI. Another FNL graduate that needs no introduction is the sire Mader Walk The Line. WTL is consistent and predictable as they come, you can usually open up catalogues from all across the country and tell without looking at the pedigree which ones are sired by WTL. KT Sage 4310 is set to make her own path in the Sage Legacy. Dark red, big bodied, stout, incredibly long bodied, powerful, and guaranteed to have a high quality udder. KT Sage 4310 has all the credentials to be a major league player in any program and prove to be an investment with high earning potential.

Deeg Simmental

Time after time Sage has proved her ability to be mated to a number of different sires and click with all of them. This flush to Heavy Hitter has to be one of her most exciting at our place with eight full sibs being born here all with short gestations and impressive growth. The brothers to this heifer have us excited for spring as they bring new genetics and ideal designs in a masculine heavy muscled package. Sage 4M has been the standout female from birth for the 2024 calf crop and we still question if we’re doing the right thing by selling her as we feel she is one of the most complete, attractive and best females we’ve brought to FNL. The legacy of Sage will only grow and here’s a chance to get her influence and genetics to the black side of this great breed.

SVS Red Sage 8L is not just another Sage. You will have to go back a few generations to find the original 506C. 8L is the product of 3 generations of donor females. Her mother highlighted the World Simmental Sale this past August, selling to Dry Creek Angus/Simmental of Kansas for $32,000. Her grandmother was a Family Matters high seller to Bonchuk Farms and Canadian Donors for $70,000 for 2/3 interest. By continuing to stack these elite females in a pedigree you increase consistency, quality and eliminate any guesswork. 8L is a powerful, smooth made female with extra length of body. Her udder should be exceptional with nice, small teats. She has been a favorite here her whole life. Her disposition is second to none as her and Reese have a special bond. This one is hard to let go for more reasons than one.

SVS Blk Sage 20M is the only baldie we have ever had from 506C, to say that she is hard to part with would be an extreme understatement. There is nothing to be said about 506C and the entire Sage cow family that has not been said before. Her ability to produce above average quality no matter the sire is second to none! She is a cow that we take a lot of pride in and are honored to own her with our awesome partners, the Deeg’s and Bohrson’s. 20M is an attractive, eyecatching female that has a huge amount of rib shape, is big topped and awesome haired. She has 2 full brothers that will highlight the black division of our bull sale next spring. There are 4 red maternal brothers that are pretty damn awesome too! 20M offers an outcross pedigree on the top side of her pedigree and will be a unique breeding piece moving forward.

W2 Land & Cattle + Wallgren Farms

Wallgren Farms

Darlin 179L has been popular wherever she goes and we think that will be no different when she heads to Olds in December. When W2 and Wallgrens acquired the Darlin 907J female as a calf they had big plans where this female would take both of their programs. This being her first natural calf we think is only the beginning of the story she will write. Darlin 179L patterns her momma so closely with her big sweeping rib and that extra presence. She is unique to the Darlin bloodline with her Angus Sire who was a son of the popular Bravo bull. Truly a unique female who has a big time dam behind her who we expect big things from in the coming years.

A pedigree we truly believe that is as exciting as you can make one, loaded with quality and predictable. 224M is a daughter of our great Darlin donor that is the very best cows to ever walk the pastures on this farm. Darlin was an all time favorite by many when it came to being on the end of a halter a few years back when we showed her but we believe her most exciting days are still ahead of her as she gets into production. 224M has all the breathtaking Darlin characteristics with a beautiful skull, flawless design, massive middled, extra hair, with a impeccable teat placement starting to develop that will turn out just like her dam. Not to mention the added dark red color, massive ribbed and do ability her sire Loyalty adds to the equation. 224M has huge potential once she enters production as she is built around such a proven pedigree and will have the same ability her dam 907J has to never miss to make a great one. Darlin is by far the most exciting cow families in the breed so why not get your hands on a direct daughter from one of our favorite

ever

WF/W2 DARLIN 179L - AUGUST 24

It has been a few years since we have offered a direct daughter out of the famous IRCC Darlin 613D! If we didn’t have two full sisters to this girl at home, she would not be selling! The combination to RF No Limits has been very rewarding seeing red and black baldies, and red and black solid colors on the ET calves. We will have 4 top end full brothers to sell this spring! No Limits gives some extra punch and rib dimension in this young donor, and Darlin passes on her prolific foot structure, stylish front third, and overall balance and eye appeal. The Darlin cow family influence has made quite a splash these past few years in the show and sale ring, and with the cow now deceased, this will be one of the last times to acquire a direct daughter!

The pieces of the puzzle have been put together just right on this direct Darlin’ daughter. It’s pretty neat that she comes with a black hide. Here is a great opportunity to get the Darlin’ pedigree incorporated into your black genetics. Mandate is a paternal brother to RF No Limits who once again has some standouts in our keeper pen. Darlin’ herself has 60 registered progeny to date and has more than proven that she knows how to produce the good ones. Her FNL highlights for our program are the 2 maternal sisters pictured selling for $60,000 and $45,000. Unfortunately she is now dececed, so get in on some of the last direct progeny to be marketed off of her.

SIRE
MATERNAL SIB

Erixon Simmentals

RF Mollydooker 4171 is a March born daughter of our Mollydooker 090H donor. When we bought a flush on the great 34C donor at New Years Resolution we knew exactly how we wanted to flush her and the mating to Capacity definitely hasn’t disappointed. Mating Capacity daughters is even easier because the cross with Caliber works time and time again. There is full and maternal brothers to 4171 in our bull pen and they are bulls that get found every time someone walks in the pen. She will be an exciting heifer to turn into a cow and if you want to hang a halter on her you’ll hit a younger division too. 4171 is big ribbed, bold sprung, and still has some added look and presence. Go back a few generations in her pedigree and count the number of great donor females that have made an impact on the Simmental breed. Lots of maternal power in this one.

When we had the opportunity to purchase C-D Mollydooker 1034 last fall we jumped at it. To buy a direct daughter of the great Mollydooker was a great addition to our program. It was also pretty neat that she is sired by Tonic who walks the pastures at our farm. The udder quality and long proud front end that 1034 carries is exactly what you would expect out of this mating. 2M herself is a sweetheart of a heifer that looks just like her dam and granddam and has wicked hair. This pedigree is as solid and proven as it comes, breed her to something exciting and you’ll see a great ROI.

GRANDAM

$50,000 FULL SISTER

$115,000 FULL SISTER

A big time full sister to the 5 females that highlighted FNL in 2023 where they averaged $50,000 and sold to industry leading programs. 421M is the epitome of power and elegance. She is bold in all the right places and smooth and refined where she should be. The strong influence of the Emmy cow family has yet to fully impact the industry and we believe once these Emmy daughters hit production, they are going to make some big time females. Caliber on the top side backed by the legendary Flirt cow family surely solidifies that as they are some of the most productive and prominent cows in the entire business. A Caliber x Emmy female available here that has a bright future ahead of her.

When donor dam to Emmy 408M sold in the summer of 2023, she was regarded by some very critical and astute cattleman as one of the most stunning cows they had ever laid eyes on. She has transmitted that same attractive phenotype with a great balance of power and femininity into Emmy 408M. Her unique pedigree with the great show heifer maker, Something About Mary 8421, on the top side brings a genetic twist to the table without sacrificing quality. Emmy 408M could hang a halter very well next year or can go out and be the cornerstone female in your herd to add a new cow family to the mix. Whatever her future holds, we believe she will be impactful.

Black Gold Simmentals

Black Gold Simmentals

We are awfully excited to bring a couple of Fox Trot daughters to Friday Night Lights this year, and two new matings at that. 111M is a moderate framed, huge bodied, stout made striking baldy female. She’s big footed with lots of bone and plenty flexible on the move. We would’ve loved to campaign her all fall, but we are always committed to showing some of our Evolution sale heifers. We currently have five full brothers to 111M that are gearing up for our spring bull sale, with one of them recently being named the Grand Champion Simmental Bull at Stockade Round-Up. They are as consistent as a group of brothers as we have had. The Cabaret offspring have beyond passed our expectations. This fall was his offsprings introduction to the show and sale ring, where his first daughter to sell brought $82 000 and first son was named Supreme Champion Bull at both the Immortals and Ultimate Legends. 111M combines a unique yet dependable pedigree, awesome phenotype and udder structure, and great haircoat. We are excited to offer her up this December.

BGS/GW/IRCC FOX TROT 239M

A blood red, long bodied, smooth made Mountain View daughter out of one of our favorites, IRCC Fox Trot. 239M is just a mid-February calf but one we are quite high on. Mountain View has been our go to red sire the last couple years, and by far the most consistent red bull we have ever used. His first set of sons sold last spring to average $21 000, and his sons and daughters are currently topping our pens again this year. 239M we think is a very versatile breeding piece with lots of quality. Her cow family is outcross to red genetics and we look forward to duplicating this mating in the future, to produce more of 239M’s kind.

Homo Polled - Red - CLNO 239M - Pending - Feb. 8, 2024

TWIN Springs BRIGHT N CLASSY 19M

Twin Springs Miss 19m is the result of an embryo purchase from Canadian donors. From the moment this female was born we knew she was special. Her dam was the pick of R plus 2 years old by Canadian Donors and Wilson Stock Farms. 19M has been found easy by everyone that has toured for phenotype. She is big middle, good footed and stout made. We have all seen how these caliber females turn out and believe this one has what it takes to make a donor! She was a division winner at Stockade Round up.

MCINTOSH BRIGHT N SHINY 412M

Bright N Shiny 412M is very desirable in her type and kind, this female is built from the ground up as perfect for today’s market as you can make one. Incredible in her structure this heifer moves out with ease on a great foot, tremendously deep bodied with added eye appeal. Her sire Caliber is at the top of his game with semen still bringing top dollar every time it is offered for sale and it’s progeny like this female that are going to keep Caliber popular for years to come. Bright N Shiny’s dam was a highly popular cow while on display at the World Congress this summer, and a maternal sibling to this heifer was a $19000 feature heifer calf in the World Sale. Get in on a 9236G daughter now as we feel they are only going

grow in popularity as the cow is just starting to hit her stride in terms of production.

McIntosh Livestock

Pieschel Farms + Scott Land & Cattle Pieschel

Here is your opportunity to purchase these exciting flush mates on our Red Licious 10K, A female who raised a big stir over the last couple of years in the Simmental industry. These two females are very similar in their type and kind yet differentiate in some ways. Both heifers showcase a beautiful head and skull with a pretty front end and nice hair coat.

Scott Licious 2M is a tick more moderate in her frame yet showcases so much middle and power. A heifer who really looks like her dam in a black package. PF Licious 2M profiles more like her sire RF Caliber in a bigger frame with so much natural muscle and thickness. Both heifers have a remarkable foot and leg structure and have perfect teat placement. These sisters were exhibited all fall alongside their ET brother “Sniper” who had a very successful run in the show ring and made a lot of friends, which show us that both the females and bulls worked on this flush. A unique opportunity here to collect a heifer from the top of both our herds, the quality of these heifer calves is top notch! If you’re looking for a front pasture cow, these will fit the part. SELLING CHOICE.

KAUF CREAM SODA

We are extremely excited to be offering these two flush sisters at the exact sale their dam went through. We think these heifers are extremely high in quality and similar in type and kind. They are good haired, big bodied, powerful females that are sound structured with a good look. These two full sisters are angular and nice headed while still maintaining ideal muscle shape and stoutness. Black hided versions of their dam backed by stacked pedigrees on both sides. They are sired by the popular $102,500.00 Ava’s Scream, that certainly needs no introduction to the Simmental breed. He has not only made a name for himself in the show ring, but is anticipated to leave a lasting impact in production as he gains wide spread recognition for his breeding potency. A bull that crossed very well with 348J and here is the proof. Their dam is a proven donor cow NGDB 348J, is an ideal looking, big bodied, good uddered, easy fleshing female. 348J stands on an exceptional set of feet and legs. She matured into an ideal cow in our minds and is proving her worth as a remarkable producer from her very first calf crop. This pair of sisters would make an exceptional addition to any operation, looking to enhance its herd with quality, proven genetics. We are excited to see what type of future these two have in store!

KAUF CREAM SODA 2403

South

Rusylvia Cattle Co. + Lee Shologan

The Cream Soda/Soda Pop cow family has been at the forefront of the Simmental industry for over a decade now and it is females like 45M that will keep it there. Soda Pop 410B has been an elite producer for us with progeny selling for $76,000, $50,000, $40,000, $32,000 and $23,000 just to name a few. The flush to Rancher has been extremely consistent and full of quality. Many will remember the $40,000 Agribition Calf Champion that 7 Lazy T7 selected out of FNL in 2022. This flush also produced, SVS Justified 62K, one of the most popular bulls in the Canadian Sires lineup. Getting back to 45M, she is as complete and well balanced as they come. We calved out 4 full sisters in 2024 and they are exactly where we need to be. 45M is big time and would rank among the very best calves we have ever brought to FNL!

MISS RUSYLVIA SODA

Here is a true sale feature. A direct daughter of the famous CMS soda pop 425B and off one of the most exciting and consistent Simmental sire in the industry W/C Relentless 32C. This one is good made and awesome haired and one we are extremely proud to bring to FNL. Her full sisters are past high sellers in the Evolution sale demanding $29,000 and $22,500. The guess work is already done on this one with a pedigree and conformation like this.

HARVIECREST CREAM SODA 4112M

How do you not win the father of the year?... sell your son’s show heifer!! Cream Soda 4112M showed alongside her dam Harviecrest Cream Soda 1035J this summer at the junior shows and what a year they had! The pair won the Summer Synergy Simmental Percentage show and then went on to be crowned the 2024 Run for the Roses Percentage Female earning our son Tel his very first buckle. This heifer offers so much in terms of her overall natural muscle and thickness all the while is still extremely sound when you get her out on the move. The maternal power backing 4112M is so impressive combining the cow families of Cream Soda, Dakota Rose and Anni K. On the topside of the pedigree, our home raised Payday 2021K sire has knocked it out of the park, as he’s elevated every cow’s breeding potential that he sired. You just know she’ll be a front pasture female for years to come. Before she gets turned out to pasture however, she is sure going to be a heifer anyone can show and be super competitive with!

MADER CREAM SODA 98M

Broody, bold, and balanced, sum up this female pretty quick! Her dam was purchased from FNL in 2021 for $25k, as one of our favorite donor prospects to sell that day, and she has over accomplished our expectations. A full sister to this girl sold in FNL a few years back to Havencrest, and we have 5 full brothers that will lead the path in our spring bull sale this year. The maternal lineage in this female is second to none, as you will notice the prolific RF 202Z combined with the many time proven Darlin 613D! She is setting up a superb udder, is very angular through her rib shape and body design, and should make a real power cow!

Deeg Simmental

Here is a pair of Loyalty calves that we are keen on! Their femininity and eye appeal brought them to the forefront of the heifer pen early and as they mature we wish we had more patterned like them. Cream Soda 248D needs no introduction and has sent some amazing decendants through this very sale that have gone on and proved their worth in the industry. We have always admired Loyalty and his progeny for their design and fleshing ability with structural integrity.

Soda 26M is bold in her design in terms of muscle shape and rib expression while maintaining an attractive and refined front third and a gorgeous dark red hair coat.

Soda 9M is deep and soft in her middle while proudly carrying a beautiful designed head and neck that ties into a long and level top. As our first time selling a pair of flush sisters together and feel that this is a great duo that will only build and grow the Cream Soda 248D story that’s still being written.

As many of you know, Red-heads run in the family so we decided it was time we offered one to the public. Here is one that we are very high on. 344J progeny made a splash with their debut at FNL last year where they averaged $27500. She has stamped every single one of her calves with the look and power that we have grown to love. 15M is a different twist to the pedigree, being from 2 black parents. She combines the power of 344J with the smoothness of the calving ease Hannibal, all the while maintaining a great foot underneath her. You can bid with confidence on THIS Ginger. See her alongside her dam at Agribition.

Sunny Valley Simmentals

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I think the picture of SVS Red Zoey 56L says all that and more. A female that was on the shortlist to bring to FNL as a calf, but boy are we glad that we decided to wait and offer her as a bred female. She is ideal in so many ways, her foot quality, her udder development, her rib shape, her head and front third are all exactly what we look for. We love her pedigree, the Loyalty cattle are very consistent, we are big fans! On the bottom side you will find Tycoon and Captain Morgan, two extremely influential bulls that we are proud to have bred and raised. 56L is the exact type of female we look to add to our program each fall. We are proud to offer her and are excited for what she will do for her new owner!

RNR Sheila 21M is the first female we have ever offered from our program! She’s a daughter out of the $110,000 SVS Rancher 42H and a maternal sister to the $240,000 WF Capital 164L that sold at FNL last year. Her dam is the infamous RF Sheila 0023H. This heifer has a show look, yet still has the power, dimension and the genetics to be the next top donor. This deep bodied heifer with a perfect teat placement coming in is a well balanced female who moves easily. RNR Sheila 21M was selected as the senior champion simmental heifer calf at both Stockade Round Up and Farm Fair International 2024. We are very excited to offer this heifer to the industry and look forward to her future success. RNR Sheila 21M is a tough one to let go.

DAM

PAW Madeline 434M is exactly the type we strive to build. She is big barreled, has expressive hip shape, solid in her structure, and an attractive baldy eye appeal. Her dam, fondly known as “Bubba”, is a Daines Scuba daughter that catches your interest every time walking through the cow herd. She milks heavy and is a sweetheart to work with. PAW Madeline 434M’s sire PAW Juan Pablo 121J is one of the most impressive bulls we have raised to date, the 2021 high seller out of our sale, The Event Bull & Female Sale, to Wheatland Cattle Co. We were very proud and honoured seeing Riley & Maddy LaFrentz campaign him last fall to the Alberta Supreme Top 5, RBC Beef Supreme Top 10 and being crowned the North American Champion Simmental Bull in the World judging event. His power, dimension, balance, and smooth movement are traits stamped onto all of his calves. PAW Madeline

RF CHEYENNE 450

RF Cheyenne 450 is a true breeding piece. She is dark red, awesome haired, incorporates extra look with cow power and comes with a bit of an outcross pedigree for the red side. Her dam combines a bit of new and old but both are very proven. Her grand dam, LRX Cheyenne 14U, was the first red female we ever purchased and she has 80 progeny registered with the CSA and many more in the US and Australia. Her dam is an exciting young cow with a beautiful udder and we are very positive about the roll that she will play in our herd going forward. Her sire, Magnitude, was a pen favourite when he sold to Wallgren Farms and Clifford Land and Cattle. He combines the female maker, Capacity, with the full sister to Merchant, RF Flirt 434B. 434B also has a tie to FNL with a pair of daughters walking through the FNL ring at $59,000 and $55,000. When you can combine a long list of impactful donors like Sage 506C, a long list of Flirts, Famous 409B, Cheyenne 14U, and Red Licious into a pedigree, take it. Cow power is locked in.

Here is a really intriguing individual. 255M is a moderate framed, east doing female with a ton of rib shape and belly. She is attractive made and has been a favorite around the yard from a very young age. We have sold 2 full sibling bulls to this heifer. The first being NUG Houston going to Nico Gross. Houston matured into an impressive herd sire and we have heard good reports on his calves. The next was NUG Dunlop who sold last year as a high seller to Willow Creek Simmentals and the Balisky Family. They are really happy with the bull and eagerly anticipate his first calves. Here is one with a proven pedigree and a big time

Wallgren Farms

This girl has momma cow written all over her!! I dare you to find one with as much depth of rib, flank, and chest floor! Like all the Walk the Line females, she is setting up a near perfect udder, travels with ease, and just a brood machine. I would say with people through the pens this summer and fall, this was the crowd favorite heifer calf! Her dam stems back to one of our first red donors, the Erixon Lady 202S female. A donor that has put more daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters back into the herd as any! Udder and foot quality are the true strengths in this pedigree, and this one will go out and raise you bulls!

If you’re looking for a outcross red baldy to take your program to the next level, here is one to really consider. A super attractive young march born female that has tons to offer when it comes to being in the show ring or heading right into the donor pen. This one is a super sound, cool looking, fuzzy haired, big boned female that stands on a super square foot. Her sire RF Magnitude 1178J is our go to bull around here as he’s a predictable herd sire and very consistent in how he stamps his calves. We used him heavy on our blacks but also tried him on a few reds and we are sure glad we did as he has created some really nice outcross reds for our program. Her dam is a productive, hard working cobra cow that definitely puts it all in her calves. A real nice made cow with a great foot and udder quality, that will moderate birthweight yet wont sacrifice any power. We think quite highly of Linnie and we think she has great potential being a outcross red baldy with endless options to be mated with!

MRC Miss Beauty Queen 108M is a beautiful red heifer with great hair, look and stoutness; we believe she will produce great offspring in any herd she gets to call home. Beauty Queen is a complete package with lots of muscle shape, body density and beautiful profile. She is the daughter of a cow we purchased off of Czech-Mate that raises big calves and has a beautiful little udder and her sire is the well respected Mader Walk The Line 92J who needs little to no introduction. With her docile nature, beautiful hair coat, and good look, Beauty Queen has truly been one of our favorites to work on and are having a tough time parting with. We have confidence in 108M to become a program leader and donor cow in her future herd

Lulu 12M is a powerful No Limits daughter in a delightful red baldy package. Our pasture is open for this one of a kind sale and only for Friday Night Lights would we let this female leave the farm. The Lulu family is anchored by the Lulu 43X cow who was Junior Champion female at agribition in 2011 and then went on to build a lasting legacy within our own herd. A full sister to 12M was purchased by Katie Kolenosky in 2023 and was a very successful junior project for her, putting on many miles and hanging banners along the way! Lulu’s dam is truly a great cow, one we look for during every farm tour to show to visitors; good footed and sound with a beautiful udder. We showed 21D as a two-year old and she did well, was Champion Female at Stockade Round-Up and a top four Supreme Finalist there that year. We have utmost confidence in the

A red percentage normally sticks out like a sore thumb, so they have to be pretty darn good to stand with their black contemporaries. Well, we sure think 20M can race with them all. She’s big ribbed, carries lots of natural muscle and loves to carry her head high with a commanding presence. We snagged her mom out of the MAF dispersal as a bred heifer, and she may carry the best udder at Westbrook. Even more important, we sold her first calf in the bull sale last spring and 20M is just her second shot at motherhood. 20M’s sire is where the shot of angus comes in being a son of the well know Red PTO bull, his dam is then our favorite, Scream 530E female who would be a full sister to Scream 215Z, pretty royal pedigree he carries. 20M also comes with her father’s dark color.

16M is the second calf out of our Blackgold Ms Revlon female we purchased out of the Evolution two years back as the high selling bred heifer that year. We sadly lost her first calf, but it is safe to say she has knocked it out of the park with this one and has a donor future ahead of her. 16M has that brood type of cow look about her already. Powerfully made, big topped with a ton of dimension that stands on a structurally sound frame. You can count on her to lay down an awesome udder just like her mother; one that is real hard to pick apart. This calf really has that extra look about her with the sharp red blaze and is one that grabs the second look in the pen. If cow families is your thing we believe 16M is backed by a great one, and should take the guess work out of a very productive future.

ROCKY MS HOUSTON 123M

Ms Houston 123M is a special female right from the top of our 2024 calf crop. We wanted our first consignment to Friday Night Lights to be a strong representation of our breeding program and 123M is just that. Her sire was our selection from Maxwell’s as a member of the rookie calf crop from Landmark and he has really impressed us with his breeding abilities both in the heifer and bull pens. 123M’s dam is an easy doing, sound uddered female that has knocked it out of the park on this hairy, cherry red, soft made heifer calf. 123M is exactly what we strive to breed in our cattle and is a strong representation of the Houston sire group, cattle with some mass and power yet with an attractive, sharp look to them. 123M is destined to be a cornerstone female in her new herd and we are excited to showcase her to the industry.

Here’s an exciting, proven pedigreed female! Lexi Lou 05 is an own daughter of the exciting Barlee Lexi Lou 1C female that was shown so successfully in 2017 claiming many titles including Canadian Show Female of the year. Her calf at side that fall was a full sib to 05 and was a high seller at the 50th anniversary Simmental sale to Wilson Stock Farms. Lexi Lou 05 is a red hided Cobra daughter out of two black parents that is very sound and correct in her make up. She is long bodied, stout featured and soft made. We think Lexi Lou is a very practical female that will be a productive cornerstone female for years to come!

Our first ever consignment to FNL had to be one that was special to us. With quality and maternal traits in mind this is hands down the female to check off the boxes. Frankie 68F has proven to have excellent feet and amazing udder quality that shows in her offspring. We can’t say enough positive about Rancher in his ability to compliment this mating. We campaigned a full sibling that we retained for ourselves to Frankie 6L that was recently Reserve Junior Champion bull at the 50th Anniversary Show at Farm Fair International’s National Simmental Show that we are really proud of. He also has big awesome feet with a tonne of power and look to him, just like 6L. Frankie has a bright future as a cornerstone for her new operation. Her early service to Wauter Valley will result in an exciting calf.

TZ Pocahontas 14M Is the type of female we are striving to make, dark red, lots of power all while still keeping a maternal look. Her law maker dam is a hard one not to like, big bodied, good footed, with an ideal udder. Walk The Line continues to consistently make good ones time after time, he’s worked great at our place and we plan to utilize him lots more in the future. This was one we were definitely on the fence about selling, but after some thought decided she was the right one for FNL!

If maternal strength, longevity and performance are important in your heard then you definitely don’t want to sleep on this beauty. CMS Amber 415M is a powerfully made, high performance, beautifully fronted female that goes back to our LFE Amber 647Z cow that only just went to town after a very successful run at our place while still possessing an udder better then cows half her age. Amber 415M’s damn, CMS Reign 847F, is an outstanding cow that gets picked out on every pasture tour and who has an udder possibly even better than her dam. Amber 415M types her dam and granddam exceptionally well, but also possesses many traits of her sire group. HFL Mindgame has sure put his stamp on his first calf crop at our place with a set of powerfully built, beautiful females with exceptional haircoats. A paternal sister to Amber 415M sold this summer in the amazing World Simmental sale for $20,000 to Maxwell Simmentals. She may have a short ear, but CMS Amber 415M is not short on performance and style.

CITYVIEW MISS SUNSET 2M

City View Miss Sunset 2M has been revered here all year. It’s just so easy to love this big bodied, boldly sprung Sweetheart! She is designed correctly from the ground up with ample heel and extra bone. The Sunny 4E cow is an absolute tank with a gorgeous udder and is a true farm favourite. We sold a maternal sister at Agribition to Dunmac Farms in Ontario and two maternal brothers through our bull sale. We fully expect 2M to follow in her footsteps and be a model female for years to come! Combine this with the widely appreciated Walk The Line and opportunities are endless. Regardless of the path you choose for 2M, she’s up to the challenge! You’ll find her at Farmfair and Agribition this fall and we’re sure you’ll love her too!

We are excited to offer a choice between two of our top bred heifers; a complimentary pair that provides flexibility for breeders with a wide variety of taste. 235K is a soft-made, pear-shaped female with plenty of style and eye appeal. Her dam is one of our top bullproducing cows, and her maternal brother ranks in the top 5 bulls of our bullpen. FSMB 1E is a powerful cow with moderate stature, and 235K’s pedigree is built on proven lineage, with strong cow families tracing back to the renowned DFM Kimberly cow. 242K is the homo polled model with impressive muscle expression, length of spine and great stature. She is out of an up-and-coming cow showing notable potential. 242K’s brother, a homo polled Anchor D Cartel son, will surely be a bull sale feature in February. FGAF 003H is moderate-framed, long-spined female with a unique genetic makeup. Both heifers are sired by a maternal brother to CLNO 77J, showcased by Black Gold in the World Sale selling for $30,000 to Canadian Donors. With such strong pedigrees and standout traits, these heifers offer tremendous potential for any breeding program and you can’t go wrong with either choice! SELLING CHOICE.

A consistent female lineage through and through. 16L’s full sister sold at the 2024 World Simmental sale to Hiestead Cattle co. We’ve been privileged to bring some big-time polled females to FNL and 176L will be no different. We don’t concentrate on making polled ones but when we get them, we make sure their every bit of the highest of quality to bring under the big lights. 176L can write a story just in her genetic make-up. She’s a direct daughter of Rhea 54C, Reputation’s mother, she also now resides at Starwest. On the top side her sire Creed just brought an $80,000 bred hfr to the world sale for Anchor D. No guesswork there on what she is going to become. In the flesh 176L is long spined, feminine in her design and is ever so smooth in her transitions from front to back. She has two brothers back in the sale pen for February and with her being the only female out of the flush, she is even more rare to be able to get your hands on.

We made the decision last year to keep every Jackson daughter in the replacement pen knowing their future was going to be bright. This summer we were able to have Jackson himself highlight the World Congress sale along with 3 daughters, one being a high selling open fullblood. 2 more daughters sold to Indiana to the Morris Family. Those 2 swept the Fullblood heifer calf division at the National YCS show and as sit here writing these footnotes, we just watched one of them win the Jr. Fullblood Show at the NAILE in Louisville, Congrats Amber! 178L will take the reigns from her sisters this fall as she represents “The Jackson’s” at FNL. She is as dark cherry red as you can make one, big middled and solid from the ground up. Her dam is an elegantly made Inscription daughter who goes back to the Charles bull at Rendezvous, she has just been a steady and solid producer for us. With the added age advantage to 178L

A special female we are extremely excited about! We are committed to opening up our heifer calf pen each year and selling our very best and Helena 714M is just that. She may very well be the most exciting female we have ever raised. She is bold ribbed, soft made, with a beautiful look. Her smooth front end and robust back end make her a wedge shaped beauty that is easy to appreciate from every angle. Her foot and bone quality, teat placement and hair is extremely ideal and we feel she resembles her mother to a tee. Her dam, Helena 264K was an FNL feature in 2022 for $55,000 to Canadian Donors & Valley Creek Simmentals and we were quick to snatch up the first embryos offered on 264K. It was a no brainer in our opinion to secure embryos by the maternal giant, Raptor. Anchor D Raptor is one of the most consistent producers that has stood the test of time annually making great cattle of both sexes, but its very safe to say his greatest attributes is how he sires females and Helena 714M is evident of that. Generations of udder quality, phenotype and just overall quality run deep throughout Helenas pedigree and we believe she is a very unique breeding tool.

Red Fern 114M is an exciting, polled Fullblood female with a world of future in front of her. The combination of power and performance in a smooth, attractive package is very evident with 114M and she is a great example of what we are trying to produce in our Fullblood cattle. Her sire, Griffon, has become a big part of our purebred operation as he is siring the type and kind we love and that our bull customers want. Soft made, easy doing, dark with good pigment and a great look. 114M’s dam is one of our OG papered cows and is a model female with a great production track record. This past spring a full sibling to 114M was a high seller in our bull sale to the good Leewood Ranch program. 114M has all the makings to be a big time

She’s everything you want and need, deep bodied, beautiful fronted, and has a neat and tidy udder coming in. Ai Bred to a calving ease sire we trust wholeheartedly - KWA Slider will bring an exciting mating to the table! The Cottonball family runs strong around our place and we are excited to see the success this bred brings.

Cassade, better known around here as Sugar, has lived up to her sweet name. She is a very complete female that you have to appreciate for her easy-doing, natural fleshing ability combined with a beautiful look and head. Her pedigree is also unique, combining power, performance with strong maternal and phenotypical traits. As one of the first bred heifers sired by the calving ease SRH Hannibal, she is double bred Lock ‘n’ Load. Cassade is off a beautifully uddered first calving Full Velocity daughter that was Brenna’s pick of the heifer calves in the dispersal. She will be a female that should produce the right kind, with a strong pedigree and EPD profile, “Sugar” should be a sweet addition to any herd.

We’ve made it our goal to stack as many great cows in every pedigree in our herd as we can to lock in the predictability, udders and cow power. Our herd bull purchases , female purchases and the sires we use revolve around that goal as well. 476 is a product of this theory. Without question, she is bred to be a great cow. When we purchased 108H from Deeg Simmentals at FNL we had faith that she was going to be a great cow and she has become just that. Her first daughter is retained in herd and did a great job on her first calf, her second daughter sold thru the FNL ring last year at $65,000, and we are excited about the group of ET calves that we have coming in January out of her. We are equally as excited about the first set of Boomer calves that we have in both the replacement heifer pen and the heavyweight sons in the bull pen. The heaviest sire group at weaning was the Boomer sons. Boomer was our high selling bull two years ago to Canadian Sires and now walks the breeding pastures at Double Bar D. Boomer is backed by generations of extremely productive donors on both sides of his pedigree. Until now we haven’t given any chances to acquire a daughter of the $100,000 valuation, RF Scream 974G. 974G was a many time champion in the show ring from a calf all the way to a pair. Even more important is the fact that she has been extremely productive as a cow. 3/4 brothers to 4106 are the $100,000 RF Intensity 3142 that sold to W2 and Canadian Sires and the $70,000 RF Intense 3144 that sold to Grassroots and Muirhead. Livestock

These No Limits cattle are big league, real world bovines and females like 406M are a prime example of all he has to offer. Added length and overall scale, great feet, superb teat placement, hair, structural soundness and a real nice look would best describe 406M but we can’t give all the credit to her incredible breeding sire. Her donor dam, 63D has been a great investment for us from Mitchell’s as she annually out produces herself while still remaining extremely sound fundamentally with a good brood cow look. We believe 406M will follow in her mother’s footsteps as a powerhouse producer and just know the strength of No Limits will shine on through her for generations.

SMRT MS JOY 18M

It’s no secret that the percentage cattle have become highly sought after. 18M’s dam is a front pasture kind and will continue to be a large influence in our donor pen. One of my favourite cows to look at on pasture. She has a beautiful udder with that eye catching maternal angus look combined with the Simmental power. You would be hard pressed to find a denser cow than 26J. 18M has that very proud, attentive look with a high neck attachment into the shoulder. Hard to put ears as high as 18M has hers to give a killer look. From behind she is extremely wide set through her hooks to pins. Pair this with the perfect blaze and it becomes hard to replicate. This is one we probably should have kept at home, but

hard to not bring the best to town.

Here is exactly the type of replacement female we are trying to make. Her dam lead off the Goldy cow family at the Springcreek dispersal and has a beautiful clean udder with lots of milk. She has been among the first to calve each year and has delivered two exceptional replacement females for us so far. This year marked our first set of calves from our new herdsire, R Plus Prosecution 0183H, whose rise to prominence came at the historic R Plus dispersal. His thirteen heifer calves consistently rang the bell averaging nearly $8000, and every heifer calf outsold her mother in unprecedented fashion. Prosecution is notable for exceptional foot quality, length, and chrome, all of which have been passed along here. This heifer has been held in high regard since she hit the ground, and we have no doubt she will only get better as she moves into production. This would certainly be from the heart of our program and we are extremely proud to offer her at this prestigious event.

This heifer exemplifies how the simmental breed is moving the entire beef industry forward. She is wide, long and deep from every angle, with tons of hair in a sound balanced package. She gives off the “mother of herd bulls” vibe loud and clear. Her Canadian Donors dam, J6 Lady D308, was a high seller at the NWSS sale in Denver, and the mating with RF Caliber has proven very complimentary. Caliber needs no introduction and the J6 Lady cow has packed in some extra middle, a big foot and an added shot of style. We put a lot of value in consistency and the full brother has been an absolute chunk since day one, coming in this fall off the cow at 980lbs. Both calves have that big body, deep flank and wide top. There is a lot of potential here and we’re very excited to see what the future holds for this elite female.

SIRE

City View Simmentals

We are excited to take part as a first time consignor in this years Friday Night Lights Sale. When Scott came to select for the Angus Collection sale, he also selected this heifer. We had zero intentions of selling Merlot 33M, but we are more than confident in her future. The sire RF Caliber needs no introduction in the Simmental breed, and his accolades are extensive. He has the ability to add power, performance, sound structure and hair. The Dam of Merlot 33M is an SAV Angus Beef daughter, and in the past few years that we began AIing her, she raised 2 percentage sons that were powerbulls grossing us just shy of $25,000 at our bull sale. The Dam is long fronted, strong topped, nice uddered and highly productive. On Merlot 33M’s first show at Brandon Ag Ex, she was named Champion percentage heifer calf following it up with Reserve Champion Female overall in the Percentage division. Merlot 33M has beautiful hair, she is sound and deep sided while being super quiet and could be handled by a junior. We are excited to see where this heifer ends up calling home and to follow her future progress. Merlot will be exhibited at Agribition.

City View Montana 8M offers a stunning silhouette complete with a widely sought blaze face. She is elevated through her shoulder and neck set and then gets down to business with an explosive rib shape and sound design. Montana traces back through one of our longest running black cow families. Her great granddam was one of our original donor cows and this group of females has been very good to us for many years. Montana looks to be setting down the same bolted on udder with ideal teat size and placement we’ve come to expect from the group. We’re excited to have her in our show string this fall but more excited to see all the success she helps her new owner find down the road. Much like her namesake, she’s rugged and built tough but more than pretty enough to stop and admire a while!

GRANDAM

Bring on a new Dawn with this super correct and long bodied fancy baldie female. Miss Dawn has cow written all over her. Her dam is a young cow who raised our best heifer bull last year, and a great granddam who is still producing at the age of 12. This attractive made female combines our very productive “Dawn” cow family with our new exciting herd sire LLC Capacity. 403M mixes her very stacked pedigree with a phenotype of extreme length, soft sided and muscle shape. If you’re looking for a baldie female that you can build a cow family around, Dawn 403M is one to add to the top of your list.

Powerhouse Alert!! If you are looking for that female that will add some outstanding power, muscle shape and performance all while keeping a look, then Bug is a heifer that is a must to see. Sired by the LLC Capacity 212J herd sire, he has stamped his first calf crop with a little extra muscle shape and power, all while keeping a great look to the calves. 212J truly combines the style and look of his sire

RF Capacity 742E with a little extra power and muscle shape from the Debut 413B female. Moody Bug’s damn, Bugsy, is a cornerstone matron female in our herd already producing 4 great daughters we have retained in the herd. If you’re looking for a fancy looking power packed female with a productive pedigree look no further than Moody Bug 421M!

SAME COW

Depth and style define LLC Premiere 2420. With a smooth, balanced structure and striking body depth, she embodies the quality we hold at the core of our program. LLC 20M hails from our most productive cow, Premiere 17E, who has consistently produced powerful bulls that cattlemen want. When we chose to flush 17E, we wanted a sire that could match her capacity, potency, and presence. Blairs Rocco was the clear choice, bringing powerful design and a pedigree that combines the best of SAV Renown and the exceptional Bar E L Erica 74A— one of the Angus breed’s most productive and admired cows. This heifer is a thoughtful blend of performance, consistency, and pedigree, with generations of donor-quality cows backing her genetics. LLC Premiere 2420 is not only a sweetheart but a standout since birth—a unique and valuable addition to any herd with a twist in her pedigree sure to elevate any program.
