Notre vente de femelles se déroule chaque année le dernier samedi de Septembre et c’est pour nous l’occasion idéale de vous présenter le fruit de notre travail. Nous sommes toujours très enthousiastes de tenir cet événement et toujours très heureux de rencontrer des passionnés de génétique. 2021 sera une autre année de défis pour plusieurs d’entre nous qui prouvera l’importance d’une bonne base de vaches pouvant faire le travail peu importe les conditions. Nous sommes convaincus que les femelles choisies dans cette vente répondront à ce critère.

Our female sale takes place every year on the last Saturday in September and it is always a time of the year that allows us to show you the fruits of our labors. We are always excited about this annual event and it’s always nice to see many of you who are passionate about genetics. 2021 will be another great year of challenges for many of us and another year that shows the importance of a good base of cows that must get the job done no matter the conditions. We are confident that the females chosen in this sale will do the job for you.

We are happy to partner with Weldehaven Farms, Cedar Creek Simmentals, Lorolin Simmentals, Alcovia Farms, Ferme Erisa, Dobbie Simmentals, High Tech Simmentals, Bel-Char Farm, Sullivan Simmentals and Ferme Forbell. This polled fullblood heifer is very quiet, was our heaviest heifer at weaning and still leads the group. She is a third generation polled and top for performance; the kind we try to produce. Harley has to be one of the best heifers we have raised.

A polled Anchor D Encore daughter with great bone structure and nature thickness, she is also going to have a good udder, she walks smooth and effortless. Her white blazed shoulder and extra color makes her stand out to most and is hard to sell her but we kept another heifer instead. Going back to another Spitfire Daughter, who crosses well with Encore every year and has a strong pedigree on the dam side. We really wanted her bred to Hefner but he wasn’t here yet, so she was AI to Raptor, for a polled calf. Harley is always a little sweetheart who comes over for good head rub and scratch!

Helena sera une vache plus petite mais puissante comme sa mère, qui a donné un des meilleurs mâles cette année. Elle est rouge à lunettes et possède une très bonne structure et un bon tempérament. Elle a une belle démarche et aura un beau pis avec de petits trayons et du lait. Helena est saillie à Anchor D Hefner, elle aura donc un veau sans corne et probablement rouge foncé.

Helena is going to be a smaller but powerful cow like her mother, who has been one of the best bull claves this year. She won’t be the biggest but will quietly produce the good ones. Helena is one of the few horned Encore heifers we had this year. She’s solid red except for the socks on the feet, with big googles very good structure and temperament. She is smaller framed than the other heifers but we don’t think this will hold her back. She has a nice stride and will have a nice udder, with small teats and will milk well. Helena is bred to Anchor D Hefner so she will have a polled calf and is assumed to be dark red.
