simmental black angus

welcome bohrson marketing services

After two short, but influential years, the Evolution sale has quickly become your source for elite Simmental and Angus genetics. The Noble and Payne families are synonymous with high quality seed stock and are recognizable globally with their Black Gold Simmental and Greenwood Cattle operations. As always, we are proud to work alongside these industry leading programs and on behalf of Bohrson Marketing Services, welcome you to The Evolution Volume lll.

The 2023 offering is as stout in quality as you’ve come to expect and then some. Both programs have again risen to the occasion to try and out do themselves year after year and we can confidently say that Volume III is sure to leave a lasting imprint on the industry. A very special donor cow in the prime of her years with a whole lifetime of production ahead of her does not come along very often and yet here she is as lot 52 to feature the Angus offering. She sells alongside one of the deepest sets of Angus bred heifers to sell anywhere all year long. Future matrons from some of the most sought after cow families within the industry carrying exciting services to the proven Sooner 0052 who is quickly rising as one of the elite sires in the breed or the up and coming, $60,000 Four Mile 47J who you are going to hear a lot more about for years to come. The Angus heifer calves are offered as largely in quantity as before and are the strongest set assembled. The previous heifer calves selected out of this sale have gone on to be some of the winningest Angus females to show this whole past year and this is certainly a buyers opportunity to source your next champion that will go on and put the extra money in your pocket when they roll into production.

The always anticipated Simmental offering again is highlighted by a set of Fullblood bred heifers, both polled and horned, that are geared for todays industry. Big bodied, easy fleshing sound structured fullbloods with a heavy emphasis on maternal qualities. These sweet hearts carry exciting services to the likes of the $35,000 herd bull Kilipso and the time again proven Battle Cry to name a couple. The purebred bred heifers are the strongest set we have seen and feature many of the prominent cow families that make BGS the place it is. Soda Pop, Foxtrot, Mickey, Nikki and a full sister to the legendary Hoya Hayleigh are all in the lineup and ready for your appraisal. The same great cow families feature the lethal string of Simmental open heifers available on sale day and are featured by a special Walk The Line x Sammie female, a pair of exciting daughters out of the productive HPF Victoria donor as well as a handful of flush sisters out of the most winningest female from the 2022 show season, the undefeated Darlin’ 4H, whose calves by Caliber are sure to impress. The opportunity to acquire the first daughter in Canada to sell off the $230,000 Countertime is also available in the heifer calf section and it is truly full of endless possibilities.

We always brag on the hospitality hosted by the Payne and Noble families and how it is always an event not to be missed and that is all true, but the quality of cattle and the endless amounts of work that go into breeding, raising and getting the 61 lots in front of you for sale day is truly commendable and the work and vision put fourth by these operations does not go unnoticed and is what makes them both leaders in our industry. We encourage you to make the trip east of Lloydminster to take in this highlight of the fall sale season and enjoy some hospitality and an impressive set of cattle. Be sure to contact anyone from either the Noble or Payne families to discuss the offering and help with your selections. If any of us listed from Bohrson Marketing can be of any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us for consultation and utilize our free order buying services. We look forward to discussing this stacked offering with you.

Best Regards,

+ 61

Another year has flown by and it’s crazy to think this is already the 3rd edition of The Evolution Sale. The crowd and atmosphere were amazing again last year, and we are excited to see everyone again on October 12th. We have stuck to the same philosophy from the beginning; continuing to breed and sell our very best. There are no exceptions, both of our operations bring cattle from the very top of our heifer calf and bred heifer divisions - That’s a promise!!

2023 marks extremely exciting times in the cattle industry with record setting prices and optimism that’s looking like it is here to stay.

Both of us at Black Gold and Greenwood continue to have very extensive embryo and AI programs. We put in a large number of embryos out of the most elite of donors. Trust that the cows behind these females are as high quality as we can breed. Consistency runs deep and it can be seen in these females, with several of them being closely related on both the Angus and Simmental divisions.

The bred heifer offering comes from the heart of our programs, with the majority of the females having early January services, resulting in a calf next fall with a little more age and a larger time frame from calving to breeding.

This year will be the first year of selling bred heifers sired by bulls such as Reddington and Approval 51H. Service’s sell by Approval 51H and the deceased Hannibal who has an impressive first calf crop on the ground. A highlight of this division is a full sib to KDP Miss Hoya Hayleigh, the triple crown winning donor who has already produced the most elite group of calves we have ever had. The fullblood bred heifers have a major influence from two of the most consistent herdsires we have ever had, Reputation and Battle Cry. Most carry an exciting service to our exciting homo polled calving ease prospect, KSL Kilipso. The Angus bred females are highlighted by a special Natural Law donor and exciting services to Four Mile who we plan to campaign this fall show season as well as Brooking Sooner services and daughters. The high-quality heifer calf division offers fresh, never sold before genetics. All the heifer calves are show broke. The Angus heifer calves will without a doubt; be the deepest, most unique set of the 3 editions of The Evolution sale. On the Simmental side, females on offer directly stem from our donor cow battery, including females such as HPF Victoria 396E, CMS Soda Pop 425B, IRCC Fox Trot, and HLTS Sammie. We feel many of these heifer calves have the potential to compete on the fall show run, and several of them will be entered at various shows throughout the fall. Please feel free to reach out to anyone at Black Gold or Greenwood to ask about which heifers have been entered and the potential of showing them throughout the fall.

We strongly encourage anyone interested to reach out to any of the contacts listed with any questions. Better yet, feel free to come tour any of the cattle at either Black Gold or Greenwood anytime before October 12. We are only 20 minutes apart! We are extremely excited to be working with the Bohrson Marketing team once again. Please reach out to anyone on their professional and talented staff before the sale or on sale day for any assistance. We look forward to visiting with you and hope to see you on October 12th for our steak supper and fall social.

GOLD Ms Elysia 58K

Non-Dilutor We start this year’s Evolution catalog with a smooth polled daughter of Battle Cry. Battle Cry has been our most “go to”, consistent fullblood sire that we have used ever since the great Stuey bull. 58K is a high growth, performance driven female with lots of length of body. She’s big and square in her foot structure and structurally sound. Last year, alongside our friends at Labatte Simmentals and Circle 7, we purchased KSL Kilipso 25K; a homo polled fullblood bull whose extremely low birth, awesome hair, and dark red colour have us extremely excited for his first calf crop to hit the ground. The resulting calf out of 58K could possibly be homo polled, and the ticket to a quick ROI.

Non-Dilutor. A definite feature and favorite of many visitors is this dark red powerhouse. In our first Evolution sale, an awesome haired, dark red female was our lot 1 female selling to Labatte Simmentals. She was a maternal sister to 211K, and we see many similarities in the two. We also sold a maternal brother to 211K as a feature in our 2020 bull sale, going to Mike Thompson; the Thompson family consistently purchases some of the best bulls they can find. 211K is a big footed, smooth made female with as much power and mass as any. She stands on four dark feet and looks to be setting down an awesome udder, with pigmented teats. 23Z is due to calve again here in 2024 and continues to stand on an awesome foot with lots of body. Really a cow that should be hitting our donor pen, due to her longevity and rather youthful appearance. Bred to Kilipso, I would expect the calf inside 211K to replicate the same kind of hair and colour but come with a polled head. 211K is a female we thought long and hard about keeping and turning her into a donor here, but we always need to feature our best and she is exactly that.

Non-Dilutor. A Battle Cry x Stuey combination here; if that doesn’t result in a great footed, awesome uddered brood cow with ideal hair and colour then I’m not sure what will. Longevity is bred into 17K and her granddam 33D, had our first calf born in 2023 and is one of our top females. 17K is a moderate framed, easy doing female who looks to be setting down a great udder, very similar to her dam. In our first Evolution in 2021, we sold a full sister to 9H as our second high selling female, going to Lindgren Simmentals. We are more than happy to have both that female and 9H still around our place, to continue to inject their ideal uddered, brood cow image into our cowherd.

Non-Dilutor. Another Battle Cry x Stuey combination bred to the homozygous polled Kilipso. 25K is a long bodied, smooth made, big hipped female who looks to be short and ideal in her teat structure. These Battle Cry daughters that go back to Stuey on the bottom side, always seem to rank high in both their calving ease EPD’s and actual calving ease. 25K ranks in the top 10 and 15% for both CE and BW, which isn’t shocking as both Battle Cry and Stuey were used on heifers with success. A maternal brother to 25K was a powerhouse in our 2023 bull sale, going to DK Ranch of Goodsoil.

Non-Dilutor. No question one of the easiest doing, biggest bodied females on offer. 66K is the kind that excels on even the driest of years, and the poorest of forages. Like many of the Battle Cry’s, her teat and udder development look to be ideal. 67F is a powerful, high-performance female that always raises a quality calf. Her first daughter was retained in our herd and raised one of our best bull calves in 2023. She also has a daughter working for Zach Nedelec of Meota, SK. Starwest Bryck left us with three years of quality calf crops, but one of the best parts about him were the daughters he left us. We often see Bryck on the bottom side of our sale features each year, and 66K is a good example of that.

Non-Dilutor. 146K is another dark red, smooth made female with a powerful muscle pattern. 967G is an ideal cow to us that we purchased from the great Virginia Ranch program. She’s a daughter of the Crude bull who is still to date one of the best breeding fullblood bulls we have ever sold. Crude is a son of our 3W donor, who has left us a great group of daughters that we look forward to building around. 146K carries a service to the Jesse James bull, a homozygous polled, full fleckvieh bull used with lots of success in the KSL program. We were excited to sample both him and Kilipso on all our Battle Cry daughter’s and think it should be a great cross.

Ms Arbour Mist 218K

Non-Dilutor. Another Battle Cry daughter that goes back to our 711E, one of our best females in production the last few years. 711E is a perfect footed, huge bodied, performance driven female who raised our $73 000 homo polled high seller in our 2022 bull sale. In that same sale, 17G raised our high selling female selling for $30 000, and she again raised a top end heifer calf for us in 2023. 218K is a smooth polled, dark red, structurally sound female who has a very dependable cow family behind her. Bred to Kilipso, her double polled calf due the start of January should definitely be exciting.

Non-Dilutor. 78K is a smooth polled Reputation daughter with a powerful muscle pattern and length of body. 333A is a moderate framed, huge bodied female that has been a great producer here. We have sold two maternal brothers to 78K to Kotowich Evergreen Farms and Landon Poyser, both of which were sale features in those years. Hoegl Livestock also purchased a homo polled daughter of 333A, and they often comment about her “show quality udder”. 78K looks to replicate that same udder quality and is bred to Battle Cry himself for an early January calf.

Ms Kristin 21K

Non-Dilutor. 21K is one of the most muscular and powerful females on offer, very similar to her performance driven dam. 73E is a full sister to our high selling bred female in 2020, selling to Labatte and Oberle. 73E has only ever had two bulls, but both were high quality and have bred very well. Her 2020 son sold in our sale to Stadyn Farms for $30 000, and we were lucky enough to buy back an interest in 48H; his first sons were well received at our bull sale this past spring. 73E’s homo polled 2021 son was purchased by Forden Fairview Farms for $20 000 and has bred well there. We can’t say enough about 73E and her consistency and believe 21K should be very similar. 21K is again bred to the homo polled Kilipso for an early January calf.

When we first purchased Fox Trot alongside our friends at Greenwood, all we ever wanted was to make was a high quality, red blazed-face female. Well, we got 2/3 of those traits in this sale feature, and she is one we have been quite excited about for some time. 200K is a long necked, good-looking female who transitions into an extremely powerful rib shape, wide pen set, and carries herself on a big set of feet and legs. She was raised by the Indian River crew out in Ontario and was shown with a lot of success, never being beaten in the heifer calf division and two Supreme overall titles. 200K is bred early to the now deceased Hannibal; the black baldy calving ease phenom, whose Red Charlie gene allows him to throw red calves. 200K’s combination of a show quality phenotype and being backed by one of our favorite young donors who’s just getting started, we feel makes her a definite sale feature and one to watch for on October 12th.

We purchased Reddington for his powerful body, ideal structure, and awesome foot structure. GOLD MS WHEATY 47H

These 51H daughters are very similar in their type kind. Moderate in frame, extremely easy doing and bold bodied, and are big and square in their foot. 51H is valuable to us do to his ability to stay moderate enough to continue to work on heifers but have more than enough jam to still raise a quality calf. 80K is a star faced female with as much rib and body as any. Her granddam 68A, was a very good producer for us while always maintaining a good udder and ideal foot. 80K is bred to Black Rebel, a hetero black bull that worked great here for several years and a bull we still use in our AI program.

Homo Polled test pending. Very similar to 80K, here’s a moderate female that has brood cow written all over her. Big footed, heavy structured, and huge bodied, 139K is an easy standout among visitors for the added body and power she carries. Again, carrying a several to the white-faced Hannibal, a red blaze calf is a possibility and could be the ticket to a quick ROI. 139K goes back to CMS Frontier on the bottom side; a dark red, powerful, awesome footed bull that we used here for a couple years and left us with some of our best young red females. A dark red Reddington daughter with added frame and performance. 10K is a good footed, stout made, powerful female that no doubt should inject power into her offspring. Her dam came from the great Sunny Valley program, and is a dark red, big bodied, good footed, heavy milking cow whose future we look forward to in our program. Her bull calf in 2023 is a full sibling to 10K, and amongst the top of the bull pen. We keep going back to 51H to breed our purebred red heifer’s, due to his foot quality, big body, awesome temperament, and great calving ease.

She’s big boned and looks to be setting down a great udder, similar to her LFE Style dam. 10D is a moderate female with a bold body shape and still an attractive look. Couple that with a great foot structure and she has found her way into our donor pen a couple of times. She has put six bulls through our bull sale, four daughters retained in our herd, and one daughter sold at Friday Night Lights to JK Bar Cattle. Bred early to the deceased Hannibal, I would be excited for the high possibility of white-faced calf.

A definite sale feature and standout in the pen is another one of these good Reddington daughters. 30K has been a powerhouse her whole life; extremely easy doing, big bodied, and heavy structured. 30K was slotted to sell in this sale last year’s sale as a heifer calf, but we specifically kept her to feature our bred heifer offering in 2023. 160F is a direct Soda Pop daughter, who was Reserve Junior Champion at both Farmfair and Agribition. She has since turned into one of our top donors and is the dam of 184L in our heifer calf section. A full brother to 30K was a member of our show string last fall, and later sold to Section 17 Livestock in our spring sale. In that same sale, we sold choice on two full sisters going to Rendezvous Farms in Manitoba. 30K’s awesome haircoat, attractive look, yet boldness throughout should make her intriguing and easy to find on sale day.

In 2019, we partnered with our good friends at Greenwood to purchase what we thought was one of the best bred females to sell that year, SVS Blk Nikki 801F. Her bold body shape, added performance, structural soundness and big foot made her a high seller in the Border City sale that fall. We figured flushing her to the new and exciting $161 000 Reddington was a no brainer, and we are very happy we did. This flush consisted of a hairy, stout, dark red bull that sold as a feature and second highest performing bull this past spring, and these ET sisters. This trio of females, although different in their type and kind, all read with quality and brood cow power. The lone red female has as much muscle and rib shape as any female in the sale and looks to be setting down an awesome udder. The two black females are awesome profiling, with a deep, sweeping rib cage, balance throughout, and look to read with the same kind of teat and udder development. With the Reddington x Walk This Way combination, we expect these to be good uddered, easy doing females while having an advantage in longevity.

A daughter of the 2022 Simmental Show Bull of the year, 28K offers extra growth and performance without sacrificing an attractive look and structural integrity. 28K is a long bodied, smooth made female who looks to be setting down a great udder. 22D offers the same kind of extra performance and has an ideal foot and udder structure. Her first ever calf is the dam of our walking herd sire, Black Gold Approval 51H. 28K is bred way along to the $230 000 Countertime bull, whose first calf crop has passed all expectations, and see’s heavy use in our AI and ET program.

As much true performance and growth as any female in the offering, 131K is a powerhouse. Along with her added frame and length of body, she’s a great haired, attractive female with a perfect blazed face. 217C is a massive bodied, good uddered female who stands on a more moderate frame. She came from the great Hudson Pines program and was purchased alongside Rust Mountain View Ranch and Canadian Donors.

131K is again bred to the exciting Countertime bull for an early January calf. If your looking to add growth without sacrificing a quality look, 131K is the ticket.

This tank is what we’ve come to expect from Sooner. They are low input, easy doing cattle that are moderate and stout. Her dam is sired by a SAV Sensation son we sold to LLB and has done a great job for them. 45K is long and smooth, deep ribbed, attractive in her lines and through her front 1/3. The early service to Four Mile should make for an exciting pair come next summer.

This one is built for the long haul, she’s very correct in her makeup and sound structured. Her dams udder is as perfect as you can draw one and she has the same correct feet as 72K. For the last few years, we have tried to invest in some of the most elite Purebred cow families that we have access to. We jumped at the opportunity to purchase forty embryos off the great Sammie donor, and boy are we happy we did. The quality and consistency in these calves, among four different matings, are truly remarkable and have been fun to watch grow and develop. In saying that, there’s a common favourite among visitors and that’s 169L. Her overwhelming power and mass, coupled with an extremely flexible structure, long neck, and near perfect foot structure are what we think makes her unique and standout in any crowd. We honestly haven’t had a calf that offers so much true body, rib shape, and muscle dimension, but still handle it all as well as 169L does. The only direct Sammie daughter that ever sold commanded $45 000 to the great KT program, and her most notable son is the $110 000 Rancher bull that caused quite a stir with the quality of his first calf crop. Sired by the $280 000 Walk the Line, his first daughters just hit the sale ring this past August to average over $17 500. This is a unique opportunity to invest in some of the most sought after genetics in the breed, and no question the best red female we have ever sold.

Victoria 396E has quietly been one of our best and most unique donor females, and we are excited to display two of her best to date. 396E is a good uddered, high-performance female with a big, square foot. Her full sister had plenty of success in the show ring and has since turned into one of the highest profile Simmental donors south of the border. The solid black 220L is an awesome haired, long bodied, attractive female with the right kind of muscle pattern. She’s high tying in her neck attachment and ideal in her build. Her white-faced sister came in a touch greener and later from the Jorgensen family after another hot, dry summer in southern Saskatchewan, but has taken off in the month she’s been here and get’s better everyday. 298L is so refined and good up front, but uniquely has a robust body shape and a long, level hip with a wide pin set. Extremely flexible off both ends with an attractive hindleg set, we think 298L has a lot offer whether that’s at the end of the leather lead, or in production. We have only ever sold one direct 396E daughter, who was her first calf as a two-year-old and commanded $50 000 as a bred heifer through Friday Night Lights to the great Double Bar D program. She has since turned into a powerful donor for them, and we expect nothing less from these two sisters.

We figured our offering wouldn’t be complete with a direct daughter of Soda 425B. A moderate framed, good looking female who replicates her dams overwhelming rib and muscle. Sired by the 2021 Reserve Simmental Bull at the Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma, Double Up is gaining steam both sides of the border for the quality and consistency of his offspring. Double Up’s dam is one of the highest income, most powerful donor in the strong JS Simmentals donor battery. We were quick to flush 425B back to Double Up after watching 232L develop all summer, and full sib embryos fetched $3700/embryo last fall. We truly have built so much of our purebred herd around 425B, and calves like 232L are the reason we will continue to do so.

A moderate framed black baldy here that has had no problem making friends. 160F is a favourite around here and was our first Soda Pop 425B daughter to hit the donor pen after her show career. Her remarkable flush of 37 freezable embryos has given us several quality offspring, with a daughter selling in our bred heifer offering that is arguably one of the top bred females we are selling. 184L herself came off a touch green, but has taken off since weaning and gets better every day. She’s attractive, smooth shouldered yet still bold in her body shape, and is plenty flexible off of both ends. No question she would be fun to lead around the tan bark for the next 15 months! This is our first calf crop out of the $70 000 Holyfield, and we are beyond impressed with the calving ease, build, and muscle pattern of his offspring. He is no doubt the longest bodied, best footed black bull that we have owned.

We bred several heifers in 2022 and 2023 to the now deceased Hannibal, and progeny like 22L is the reason we will continue to do so. 22L is a powerful, big bodied, muscular female who is still feminine through her head and neck. 158J is one of our favorite direct Cream Soda daughters. She’s a moderate, big bodied, cow with a good udder; we considered selling 158J along with 22L, but decided we needed to keep this young promising female after producing so well with her first calf. Relentless daughters have proven themselves to be highly productive at our place, with foot and udder quality being as good as any sire group. 158J is no exception, and we would expect 22L to follow in her same footprints.

An opportunity here to purchase the first daughter to sell in Canada, sired by the $230 000 KCC1 Countertime. On top of that, she is a daughter of our $62 000 valued phenotypic beauty, Foxtrot. Foxtrot is an awesome uddered, good footed, attractive cow that is big bodied and heavy structured; we would take several like her and love showing her to visitors. 182L herself is a moderate framed, big bodied brood cow prospect with a great temperament. She’s big footed and looks to be developing short, refined teats with lots of spread. In our mind, when you can couple her ideal phenotype with an outcross yet dependable pedigree, the breeding options and genetic potential are endless.

Here are a pair of half-blood full sisters in blood, that offer a complete outcross pedigree to Canada. Their dams are a result of embryos purchased off the great Yasmin 063Y donor and are two of our most promising young red females. These white-faced sisters are sired by the calving ease, maternally orientated Ellingson Rush and have been fun to watch grow and develop. Their attractive look, depth of rib and body shape, and great temperaments would make them great candidates for the show ring and would suit any age of showman. These half-blood cattle have been gaining speed, and in our opinion it’s easy to see why. The added maternal quality, fleshing ability, and power in these cattle make them admirable and we see the same qualities in these two. 82

Mader Darlin 4H is a past Friday Night Lights feature and high seller and has since moved her way into the number one position in the impressive Twin Springs donor arsenal. Last fall Darlin 4H hit the fall show road running, going undefeated in the Simmental show all year, and capturing Supreme Champion Female at both Lloydminster’s Stockade Round-Up and Edmonton’s Farmfair International. Her overwhelming body and mass, coupled with a flawless structure, attractive look, and near perfect udder and foot made her a favorite among many. Her first chance at motherhood resulted in the high-quality Limitless heifer calf she was campaigned with, and later Friday Night Lights leadoff lot selling to Jorgensen Land and Cattle for $42 500. The mating to the great Caliber in our minds couldn’t have gone better. We have five full sisters for your appraisal, that are although each a bit different, their quality is the same throughout and we truly believe there is something for everyone. These sisters are all good built, flexible females who carry more than enough in terms of true muscle and body shape. When we think about mating’s and how we want to breed each donor, combining two of the best cow families in the breed was something we wanted to do. There haven’t been many other cow families that have the consistency, quality, and earning value that the “Flirts” and “Darlins” exhibit. With that being said, we really believe that the earning potential and genetic value behind these females are second to none, and we are excited to show them off in The Evolution on October 12th.

A special opportunity and an extra special cow. There are great Natural Law daughters sprinkled across North America; and his story is only just started in the grand scheme of things, 58H has the potential to be the next great chapter of that story. She’s a powerhouse female that will find herself in the donor pen next spring for the start of what we feel could be endless breeding and earning potential. You get the opportunity to get in on the ground floor as she has never been flushed; but has knocked it out of the park with her first 2 heifer calves. Beauty 58H is massive outlined, beautifully designed and fun to look at on the profile. Her structural design and bone size make us believe she’s got the credentials to be lethal in the production of whatever you wish to produce; show type heifer calves, power bulls or just the easy keeping right kind of cows with that extra look we all strive for. Our goal is to show her this fall show season with her powerful High Class heifer calf at side. This is more than likely the final opportunity to purchase a direct daughter of the incredible 23D donor as we sadly lost her too young, and hope to build our Beauty cow family around her daughters. Maternal sisters have been featured to Schwan Angus, Davies Land & Cattle/Vee-Tee Angus, Wiwa Creek, Dudgeon Land & Cattle and Justamere Farms for an average of $20,000.

Selling 50% interest with possession negotiable after 2023 fall show season. If 58H remains at Greenwood 70% of natural calf proceeds will go to Greenwood and the remaining 30% to the new owners. Flush costs and embryos will be split 50/50.

We have plans to show this female at side of her dam 58H this fall and are excited to have the new owners along for the fall show season. We expect 56L to be just like her dam as she develops into a donor type female that can produce either herd bulls or fancy female’s. The Beauty cows are becoming a household name around here and the kind everyone should want as they simply get the job done of producing high quality cattle.

This one has the look, the muscle pattern, structure and pedigree to be potent in the show ring and in production. We decided to use Bang On last spring as we really liked the bulls power, near perfect foot quality and pedigree. We are really happy we did as the bull and heifer calves alike are top quality. 2L’s dam is the only full sister to Game Night; the Natural Law high seller to Lewis Farms a couple years ago. She’s a bold ribbed cow that’s a mile long and excellent uddered. 2L is also a granddaughter of our top income cow 28Z. A cow family you’re going to hear a lot more about when it comes to our program and one we’re extremely proud of and excited about. Her head and neck attachment is intriguing and we feel this is the kind of heifer you will be able to show competitively this fall and all the way through next year if you’re a junior. 27L is a granddaughter of our herd matron 28Z. The cow family is really proving their worth in production, as we build our cow herd around them and keep the quality of our bull sale up with many sons and grandsons. This calf is extra long and has a bit more frame then your average Sooner, she’s got very nice top and under lines, a square hip and perfect udder development. An awesome dispositioned calf that will make a powerful cow with a pedigree that’s predicable.

Another Beauty with the credentials to make a positive impact on your programs bottom line. A fault free kind of calf with balance and soundness that’s hard to pick a hole in. She still offers an attractive presence and her neck ties high out of her shoulder, she’s kid friendly and soft haired. A full sister sold in last year’s evolution to Owen Wilms and a 3/4 sister the year before to Kade Rancier who’s developed into an exciting young cow. This heifer’s pedigree is pretty ideal for us when it comes to talking about maternal lineage.

Our lone Angus in this year’s offering, but no doubt one of our highest quality females on offer. 303 is the natural calf off our powerful 1001 donor owned with KT Ranch and Canadian Donors, who possesses as much true muscle shape, foot and bone, and overall power as any Angus female we have ever seen. With her intriguing phenotype and consistent pedigree, being a granddaughter of the great 502 donor of Udell’s, we see a great potential ROI on this one.
