Everblack Kathleen 65P has been a tremendous cow for us. She has 31 registered progeny within the CAA and we still have a few eggs in the tank. She produced to 17 years of age. We have retained 11 daughters in our herd, sold 4 daughters through select sales, and 5 sons through our bull sale. With BAR-E-L Natural Law needing no introduction, the Peakdot Unanimous 743B mating has proven to be very exciting as well. With 5 full siblings to this mating selling for an average of $10,500, one of those being a herd sire at LCL Angus, and 3 full sisters retained in our herd, I would say its proven itself. The Peakdot Unanimous bull has 330 registered progeny and 99 percent of those would have been bred naturally at our place. The calves have been very marketable, being easy fleshing, moderate framed, with the daughters having near perfect udders.

The Mac Blackbird 35E Sitz Barricade 632F
Blackbird 35E and her dam are the foundation of our embryo transfer program and have both proved themselves as donor dams. 35E’s progeny has stood out year after year. She combines calving ease, maternal traits, outstanding feet and phenotype. Her 2021 heifer sold in the Hillspride Sale for $15,500 and her maternal sister sold her first-born bull calf for $26,000. This mating with Sitz Barricade 632F should result in some awesome progeny with exceptional performance. Embryos are stored at the Ormstown Veterinary Clinic.
