Berwest Farms has had a deep passion for the Simmental industry for decades and as it comes to a close, it will certainly leave fellow breeders in the industry a great opportunity. We have grown a great respect for Cecil and family as we have noticed the love and work that they have poured into this herd as they are proud of what has been built and deservingly so. The performance and maternally driven breed, Simmental has lead the industry and continued to gain steam because of cattle like this book that are built for longevity, production and profitability. This family program has taken all the guess work out of it and we can assure you the product in this catalogue is designed for future successes.

The Fleckvieh cow herd is one that took us all back as the quality throughout is evident with power cattle that are suited for today’s marketplace. Hendrik & Gibson were the upcoming Polled Full Fleckvieh herd bulls they planned to build their program around in the future and we really think these strong footed, dark, well pigmented bulls with outstanding pedigrees will do great things moving ahead. The set of bred heifers was one of our personal favourite groups in the entire sale as they are bred for ROI. The entire Fleckvieh herd has years of production ahead and we feel there will be some very exciting “Berwest” cattle show up in pedigrees of high selling lots for years on end that stem from this sale.

The Purebred program will impress with the muscle, dimension, power, maternal strength and overall completeness as you study the offering. Much like the Fleckvieh group, there is future donor females within these herd for successful buyers and overall, the herd is highly productive from start to finish. As our team toured through this set this summer, the young cows were exceptionally good and they stood out as a highly valuable product to obtain. The big calves that these purebred cows raised are impressive and the set of breds on offer is a true accomplishment.
