It is with much anticipation we welcome you to this years anniversary sale of the Angus Collection as we celebrate the 10th year of its existence. For the last decade the AC has seen many high selling, influential and founding bull and females sell through it and we are proud of the fact that so many of the consignors that were with us for the first sale 10 years ago, have loyally consigned for every year since. With that said, we have had many great producers join this sale over the years and believe the consignor list is as impressive for the 10th anniversary sale as ever before as it is loaded with first class programs, backed by great people, with outstanding genetics on offer. These are the types of people we enjoy doing business with. We are fired up for the 71 los showcased in this catalogue and hope you accept this as your personally invitation to join us at the Olds Cow Palace, December 17, 2022.
We can confidently say from top to bottom this years offering is the stoutest in quality as ever before. Putting together a sale offering of this caliber simply does not happen and we wish to commend the consignors for annually stepping up to the plate and bringing their very best to town, and using the Angus Collection sale as their go to venue to offer the best of the best genetics. The bred heifers on offer are simply potent. Within this section there will surely be something for everyone, front end pasture type females, donor quality females and females that will be able to lay down, give you a calf and then hang a halter next fall and be competitive. We are very confident that you will be hard pressed to find an offering of bred Angus heifers that have this much depth of quality throughout and offer this much diversity. These bred heifers on offer are sure to provide a quick ROI as they carry services some of the most outcross or proven services profitably possible. The calendar year heifer calves available in the 2022 offering are held in the highest regard. We feel these females, although coming from so many different programs, are a very consistent group and as you study the rich cow families and lineage backed by this sector, you’ll see why we have such a close knit group assembled. Many half, 3/4 and full sisters will be on offer in the heifer calf portion and we feel they offer a lifetime of production ahead of them no matter what you expect out of them. There are future donors, herd bull mama’s and fancy show heifers that will be very competitive in this section of the sale and we are very excited to follow them for years to come. With keeping in tune with offering some of the most exciting and elite genetics in the AC, we are also proud to have on offer a special pregnancy by one of the absolute future legends of the entire breed, Coleman Glacier 041, the $270,000 (1/4 interest) herdbull, mated to the gorgeous Brooking Dusty Countess 9026, the calf alongside the 2 time Supreme champion pair in 2019. This mating is as exciting as any as you will ever come across!
As much as we can go on and on bragging about this exceptional offering for the 10th edition, the real selling feature on the whole deal is the great group of consignors that make up this impressive offering and the unlimited amount of camaraderie thats seen within the group. You won’t find a better group of people, coupled with exceptional cattle and fun times. We really hope you can join us for this golden year sale to take in this big time offering of Angus genetics. The combination of cattle and people makes this a not to miss event. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please do not hesitate to reach out to the consignors or any of us at Bohrson Marketing Services to take advantage of our industry leading, free, order buying and consultation services. We hope to see you in Olds and look forward to discussing this set of cattle with you! Best regards,

Countess 1013 will be the first ever female offered from Brooking Countess 9026. Countess 9026 was introduced to the world in the fall of 2019 when, her and her dam were the 2 time Supreme champion at Farmfair and Agribition. 9026 was the $52,000 highlight out of the 2019 Brooking Invitational. 9026 would also go on to be crowned Supreme champion, as a bred heifer, the next year at the Lloydminster Stockade Round-up. The sire of 1013, is the international, Canadian Western Agribition, and National Western champion, Conley South Point. Countess 1013 is a deep sided, big ribbed, long bodied female with extra look, and a long, beautiful front end. When Countess calves to Belvin Honey Jack, she will have a picture perfect udder, and will be one you will want to keep in the front pasture and admire every day.
This stoutly structured female descends from a cow family that is a household fixture in more herds in the country than one can imagine. Her dam is a maternal sister to HF Tibbie 93U, purchased by Bar H Land and Cattle in 2008 and went on to become a foundation female and designated as an Elite/Premier Dam in the CAA, as well as raising prominent Herd sires such as Bar H Crossfire 63A and Bar H MindBender 141D. Tibbie 21J is extremely long bodied, big hipped, good footed heavy muscled daughter of Schiefelbein Showman, and the kind of female that could certainly bring home a potential herd sire in the fall. Showman has done an amazing job of breeding with such uncanny consistency. Showman has unperilled phe notype with curve bending numbers that are tough to match, he is a calving ease sire with spread from birth to yearling that is beyond impressive. The first crop of Showman females has been all we had hoped for, with lovely udders and great mothers. To top off this impressive bred heifer, is her outcross service sire package. There should be great value in the potential of this new young Herd Sire which we acquired this spring from Ellingson Angus. Ellingsons were quoted as stating that Ellingson Hi-Range (alias Ellingson Rangeland 1356) should be a potential game changer for structure, foot quality, and mobility. He has generations of Calving Ease with extremely impressive performance.
Anticipating that Lucy 54J follows in the footsteps of her dam, grand dam and great grand dam, who are all ranked in the gold and platinum status in the Herdtrax program, Lucy 54J blends that “maternal” appearance with plenty of mass and performance. Lucy 54J will be one of the first Sitz Profound daughters to freshen in 2023 and we strongly believe that this attrac tively patterned female will drop a lovely udder following the shape and attachment of the fe males in her pedigree. Sitz Profound was the top selling son of Sitz Stellar 726D at the Sitz 2020 spring bull sale. Profound combines low birth, obvious power and growth, large scrotal and he is also in the Top 1% of the breed for both Claw and Angle. We are loving how our young Profound females have matured into some of our top bred heifers. And adding to this exciting package is the service to the new outcross Sire….Ellingson Hi-Range, alias Ellingson Rangeland 1356. He is quoted as being “One of the most interesting breeding pieces Ellingsons have ever created.” He represents 4 consecutive generations of calving ease and yet impressive perfor mance, recording a 205d Wt of 884 lbs and a 365d Wt of 1515. The service to this Young Sire has “almost” exclusively been retained in our herd and one other herd for 2023.
The Countess cow family are held in high regards here. This heifers dam is no stranger to raising the great ones, cranking out many sale features an high selling bull to Jason Morrison in Montana and 129J has the same great look as her dam. Powerful, yet elegant and attractive, that stands on great feet and moves extremely well. She adds a lot of neat pieces to the puzzle, not to mention she favours the AI date to one of our most exciting herd bulls here, SSS Deuce. The Rosebud and Countess combination should be an extremely neat pedigree. We can not say enough good things about our HF Syndicate females. Here is a direct Syndi cate daughter being backed by the highly maternal Tibbie cow family, we are excited for the future of this bred heifer. She is moderate made, big middled, with an extremely easy doing look to her, and looks to have an exceptional udder and stands on good feet. She carries all the real world traits that we strive for here, low maintenance female that will thrive under harsh environment and will look good doing it.
When we talk about the depth of quality annually in AC and the great success stories that rise out of purchases from this great event, lot 7 is a prime example of that as her mother was a past sale feature in the AC when she was purchased for some of the great qualities we see here in her daughter. Udder and foot quality, depth of body with an attractive brood cow look. Her sire, Integrity, is one of the best looking mature bulls you will come across with a great big foot under him, style, look and substance. The maternal qualities brought in from the likes of Charlo, Erica 74A and Harvestor make this female one you can buy with confidence and rely on for years to come to bring home front end calves year after year.
A very exciting female we are proud to bring to town. 1022 carries so much substance and base width in yet a feminine, attractive package, we really appreciate how she gets out and travels. Her udder is setting up to be beautiful and we believe she is destined to be a front pasture type female with her structural integrity, maternal look and body mass. Her maternal lineage is deep in quality as her mother was a purchase from Hamilton Farms that hast looked back since our acquisition, she is a super attractive, production powerhouse and the type we want to build around. The service to Rosewood, a Renovation x Internationalx1019 is extremely deep in cow power and he is a bull we are excited about the future of!
Backed by one of the richest cow families at Peak Dot, the Lady’s, 101J is sired by the impres sive powerhouse, Colossal, making her an absolute brood cow in the making. We feel 101J is the type you’ll be proud to own a herdbull out of and is the kind you’ll want to duplicate with daughters for years to come to inject the production records made famously by the Lady’s. 101J’s big foot, udder quality, base width and substance make her hard to miss at any angle and we think her soft made, easy doing type is just the right balance of a female thats attrac tive yet broody. Tie into this one with confidence as we know what a productive cow she will be for years to come.
Backed by one of our favourite donors, Division 86A, lot 10 resembles her mother so much in terms of structural integrity, depth of body, foot and udder quality and rich maternal lineage. Add in the powerhouse sire, No Doubt, whose semen and services have been highly sought after for good reason, and we believe you have a female destined for the donor pen. We feel the stoutness, rib shape, and bone work on 810 is about as ideal as one thats still really long an clean in her front 1/3 with an attractive mama cow head. We feel the future is very bright in this up and coming cornerstone female.
A true combination female carrying exclusive service. Lady 312J exhibits a high quality pheno type- bold and opened up in her skeleton with a sleek and tidy head and neck. But her most intriguing piece is undoubtedly the coupon inside her. She is carrying service to LT Galleon 1229, the lead off Angus bull at Lindskov-Thiel bull sale that was selected by Six Mile and Circle 7. Gal leon is super long spined, maternally focused with a stunning dam and outcross pedigree to mainstream. Top 1% WW, YW.
I have been quietly trying to build up a strong female base, and this heifer really showcases the type and kind of heifer that I love. Blackbird 40J is extremely thick, deep, hairy and wide while still being attractive fronted. She carries a typical strong Angus character head with big fluffy ears, and maintains a strong foot and leg structure. Blackbird 40J looks to be dropping a beautiful udder with nice teat placement, and tops it all off with a wonderful disposition. The pedigree speaks for itself as it carries some of the greatest legends in the Angus breed includ ing Density, Net Worth and Bravo. This bloodline has been in our family for decades, and this one is especially hard for me to let go, however being a first time consignor to this elite sale meant digging deep. She will be exhibited at Agribition.
Retain 1 Successful Flush at Sellers Expense and Owners Convenience.
KCH Lynnette 2111J is very elegant in her makeup and carries herself like a queen. Lynnette is beautiful to look at from any angle and is massively deep from end to end. I just love the sub stance and style of this big volumed Bravo daughter. She is laying down a magnificent udder and is carrying service to the breed legend, Renovation, he is known for his valuable daughters and powerful sons. She is a unique breeding piece, and is packed with power and femininity, I expect great returns from this mating. The other maternal sister we are offering at this years Angus Collection, Grace 5J will make a beautiful cow who has a superior udder coming in. 5J is deep bodied, long, thick, good footed and correct in her structure. Like her dam she has proven to be very fertile as she caught to her first AI breeding to Conley South Point for January 8th, 2023. Sired by Connealy Capitalist 028 a bull we decided to use because of the beautiful daughters he raises, passing along the big body and easy fleshing style you will see in 5J.
We are excited to consign to the Angus Collection sale for the first time. Taylor did a little arm twisting to get this heifer for the sale as she was slated for our keeper pen. Her sire NRA Maga was purchased from Neilson Land & Cattle as a yearling and has done us a great job. Deep soggy made females with tons of capacity and great milk flow into production. The dam side traces back to the immortal Basin Lucy cow family. This is a one of a kind female for our first time at the Angus Collection.
Riverstone Blackbird 14J has been a heifer that has been well loved at Riverstone, she was shown as a heifer calf as a junior project and she is a quite, sweet, powerhouse! Her sire, Cole man Bravo, is extremely long bodied with tons of rib and red meat. His pedigree is full of Cole man greats like Charlo and the famous Donna cow family. Riverstone 14J’s dam, Riverstone Blackbird 13E, is constant producer and is a nice daughter of SAV Resource 1441. She is bred to an exceptional home raised SAV President son, Riverstone Whitehouse 48J, who had been a standout since birth. This new herdsire at Riverstone is a moderate framed meat machine who has style, is extremely smooth and has extraordinary show presence. We are excited about what this mating will bring.
BCC Lynn 2J is a volumous, wedge shaped, feminine tank of a female with performance and structural integrity. She is backed by an outstanding daughter of Woodhill Foresight that has a weaning index of 106 on 8 calves including a $15 000 son to La Quinta Cattle Co. Her maternal Grand Dam Lynn 31’97 is one of the most fertile cows we’ve ever flushed, with her repeatedly producing 30+ embryos at a time. Her genetics were exported worldwide with a large volume going to France before she was purchased by Blairs.ag. Sired by Ellingson Homestead 6030 whose pedigree is highly maternal and noted for increasing fertility with a top 1% HP. He is a balanced trait sire with 10 traits in the top 15% and whose dam is one of the really good Territory daughters in the Ellingson program. Mated to none other than the $44 000 high seller from last years Angus Collection – Compass Mr Tibbs 11J. She is confirmed safe for an early February calf. Get in on the ground floor of this exciting opportunity of easy fleshing, stout, good footed cattle with a great disposition.
Edwards Erica 124J is a performance orientated heifer, sired by the very popular Schiefelbein Attractive 4565. She is a big bodied, square hipped heifer that has an abundance of hair, femi ninity and style. She stands on an excellent set of feet and legs and near perfect in her skeletal make up, but one of her greatest attributes is her puppy dog disposition. We had to try every thing in our bag of tricks to get her attention on picture day. The early mating to Ellingson Big River 0052 should be intriguing to most with his low birthweight to high weaning, yearling, and fertility stats.
Edwards Prime Beauty 332J is an awesome cow prospect that is an absolute tank. She is a heifer with an incredible amount of muscle shape mass dimension and thickness all while keeping an ultra feminine front end. She is a brood cow in the making with all the credentials to make her new owner profitable for years to come. Her dam is a power cow that is very high on my favourite list. The mating to the 2021 Canadian Western Agribution Reserve Champion Bull, Chestnut Turning Heads 29G should compliment her nicely to make a quick return on investment.
Edwards Princess Annie 52J is a quick find and a favourite by all that have stop by for a look. She is one of the very few daughters we got off of our herd Sire Young Dale Gladiator 120G. His dam is none other than Young Dale Grace 126Z, making him a maternal brother to Youngdale Believe and Young Dale Defiance. Youngdale Grace 126Z has had as much influence on the Canadian Angus breed is any with over 30 registered progeny. Edwards, Princess Annie 52J has as much potential for greatness as any we have sold to date. The mating to Brooking Sooner 0052 should result in an extremely stout made valuable calf.
6068. She is an easy moving stout made heifer with extra muscle shape and capacity. She is due early to a bull you are going to hear a lot of in the future, Brooking Sooner 0052.
This international daughter is one that shouldn’t be leaving the farm. 34J is a long bodied, wife topped, female with tons of power and rib shape. She walks out on a near perfect foot and is dropping an gorgeous udder. This female is packed full of maternal power. She’s carrying service to the Belvin May City bull. This should be a very interesting calf.
Goodview Tibbie 50J is a powerful female backed by the performance of her sire, Soo Line Lo comotive 1403. Admiring her walk, a wide hip can be found flowing into a deep rib set, behind a smooth shoulder. Her Dam is a no miss cow that has caught to all a.i. services and produced the top selling bull calf in back-to-back years, including her first calf in 2019. In order to further this cows legacy, we proudly elected the A.I. service to the Top Seller of the 2019 Musgrave Bull Sale, “CrackerJack” . A quick dive into the EPD’s and pedigree of this bull, its easy to see why this heifer could do as her dam has done before and create a top selling offspring for her buyer. Tibbie 50J comes with a well-balanced frame top to bottom under a hair coat like no other.
3J has been a favorite around our place since she was a calf. Ariel is a tremendous package not only from a phenotype stand point, but she also carries a very impressive, and dependable pedigree. She is a maternal sister to Game Changer, the high selling bull from our 2021 bull sale to Neilson Land & Cattle. Her Grand Dam is the prestigious U2 Erelite 109Z, who demanded $140,000 in the U2 Dispersal. When it comes to a power female, phenotypically it is tough to make them much better than this girl, and you certainly don’t find one with a hip this good every day.
Aja Annie 177J is an embryo mating from our flush cow AJA 82Y. At 11 years old we flush AJA 82Y to SAV Renown; she gave us 32 #1 embryos and rebred to a short cycle to AI. Fertility runs deep in this cow always breeding to AI first cycle. Combining SAV Renown and AJA 82Y we antici pated progeny that are sound footed highly fertile with added performance in a free moving flexible design. This is exactly what AJA 177 exhibits. Combined with Renown and the longevity and consistency of her dam AJA 177 is sure to produce high performing sound footed highly fertile functional cattle all in a very eye appealing package. 177 is pretty headed clean fronted long spinned and dropping a nice udder. She is very docile and gentle in nature.
It’s easy to see at a glance the maternal look we see in the daughters of Brooking National 0144! As one of his first daughters to sell, Marg 2K displays this complete, easy fleshing look and will drop a picture-perfect, beautiful udder! The Marg family is consistent in production. Mass and dimension, feminine, rich milk, fertile - they have stayability. BAR-E-L Marg 128A has produced eight calves to date, with four daughters in our herd.
KT Tibbie 2410 is an exciting January Mecury X Natural Law heifer. PM Tibbie is a big time donor female that has all the right pieces. She was a $38,000 acquisition out of the exciting Rose Bowl event last summer, and was a cow that had a lot of friends that day. She is a favourite around the ranch and will be a big part of the future of KT. 2410 is sired by Brooking Mercury making her a full sub to Wiwa Creek Trending Now, the $30,000 high bull out of the Angus Collection sale last year. 2410 is a good looking, long bodied, well built heifer with awesome hair. She’s one that will be a lot of fun to show over the next year, and one that will have a big bright future when she hits production.
We saved this very special female just for the Angus Collection. She will be the 2nd ever offered daughter of our number one donor 28Z and one of very few that will ever be offered. 28Z has proven herself as a potent donor with sons selling to Ter-Ron Farms for $60,000, Lewis Farms for $31,000, a full brother to this heifer sold to Vee-Tee Angus for $30,000. Another brother was the $25,000 selection of CMT farms and the only daughter to ever sell was a 2/3 interest for $25,000 to Blairs.Ag and Canadian Donors; this list goes on and on. 2K is sired by the rare and popular female maker McCumber Tribute who has seen a fast jump in popularity for his beau tiful uddered, easy fleshing daughters. We have 3 full sister’s milking and they are gorgeous young cows that all raised big impressive bull calves for their first calf and we plan to flush one of them in the spring of 2023. 2K was the heaviest weaned heifer calf this year and the kind that’s destined to make a donor. She’s massive middled, easy fleshing, attractively designed and powerful from front to back. If your interested in owning a high caliber Tribute daughter you’ll have to travel a lot of miles to find one like this.
One of the last daughter’s you will see sell out of our 424B donor who is now deceased. This calf would be a maternal sister to the Stockade Roundup, FarmFair and Agribition Champion female in 2021. 424B is known for producing beautiful daughters with perfect udders and very good feet. 98K is huge bellied, long fronted, extra hairy and cool in her design. Maternal sis ters have been past Collection highlights including $24,500 to Blacksand, $17,500 to MJT and a brother at $18,000 to LLB Angus. 424B has generated over $250,000 in progeny sales and her daughters like to work just as hard as she did. Aw3
It’s a tough to walk into a group of cattle whether its bulls or females and not come out with a Showman progeny as a top selection. We decided quite late to add a couple of heifer calves to our sale consignments for the Angus Collection Sale. Rosebud 48K stems from a pedigree top and bottom that has made its mark over the years. Proven, predictable and consistent genet ics which will help raise the bar in your breeding program going forward. Maternal brothers to Rosebud 48K have gone into herds like Rimrock Angus in Idaho for $13,000 and East and West Ranch for $9000.00, and yet another Herdsire of notoriety in this cow family is HF Powler 43U which has been used extensively as a calving ease specialist over the years. This Showman daughter has the quality, balance and presence to become a front pasture cow. Showman progeny have definitely made their mark in the industry over the past couple of years topping sales around the country, whether through live cattle sales, embryos or semen packages.
Evening Tinge is a cow family that has a very intriguing history. It originated with Hamilton Farms back in about 1998, then Evening Tinge 57R was born in 2005, sold to Ontario, where she took the name of Evening Tinge to a very prestigious level and then she ended up in Saskatch ewan at Johnson Livestock where her ability to breed the great ones continued.
Evening Tinge 229K has four Elite dams in the past 5 generations of breeding females. Evening Tinge 294X, an Elite dam has been in our donor pen cranking out Herd Bulls, going into herds like Brooking, Bobcat Angus MT, Ricky Smith TX, Rimrock Angus ID, Larry Dew and Arda Farms, as well as a number of females retained in the herd. The maternal grand dam OCC Juanada 927K was the lead off cow family in the recent Poplar Meadows Reduction Sale with top fe males bringing $24,000 and $35,000. This stout heifer has a different twist with Ellingson Three Rivers being a new component in our Herd Sire arsenal. They are truly big bodied and stout, so it is not hard to realize why Three Rivers is the breed leader for Weaning and Yearling growth. He has certainly added performance through his amazing length of body.
Hamilton Farms Hamilton FarmsThe Blackbird cow family is the most prevalent and consistent producers at Six Mile. Blackbird 210K is backed by a factory; her dam has not missed in her 9 year tenure. Blackbird 46Z has landed herdires in herds across Western Canada including, Mar Mac, Riverside, Iron Plains, Kornfeld, Chekowy, and Menke and one daughter at Madsen Angus. Showtime 80H’s first calf crop is exceeding expectations- the Showman son selected by Everblack Angus with a $64,000 valuation in the 2021 Six Mile Bull Sale. Blackbird 210K is sound at the ground, balanced on the profile with an athletic stride.
This heifer is definitely worthy of all the footnote cliches that get thrown around these days... “this one hurts to let go, she’s the whole package, we should not be selling her, etc”. Lady Lee 281K represents the first calf crop from new outcross herdsire Young Dale Honour 16H owned by Six Mile, Coor Cattle, Rosebud and Cardinal Cattle He is proving to be a superior calving ease option that elevates quality and look. We think this gal is really good, the type of female that thrives in our low input, short grass country; she’s sensible frame sized, soft sided, impec cable in her structure backed by a strong cow family with high maternal qualities and instincts.
W Sunrise Blossom 824K has been an absolute stand out from day one. Always admired standing next to her stunning dam, 824K is a stout made and as easy fleshing as we can make one. Straight, sound and shows exceptional teet placement just like her beautiful uttered Harvestor dam. 824K has all the right tools that it takes to raise a herd bull one day and look extremely well doing so. Her sire HF Electric Avenue has done an exceptional job, siring highly marketable bull calves and still raises the right kind of female. W Sunrise Exquisite Lady 734K is a pretty special piece. Extremely sharp fronted and elegant heifer with performance and growth. A highly maternal pedigree stacked on both top and bottom. Her dam is an extremely attractive PM Executive Decision daughter that will have a bright future here. Plus her sire SSS Deuce being backed by one of the most popular cows in the black industry right now, U2 Rosebud 157C only adds to this neat heifers story. You can see the Rosebud in all the Deuce females. SSS Deuce on top of PM Executive Decision will be a highly used pedigree at W Sunrise in the future.

LFE Echo is a high caliber, stylish daughter of PF Oklahoma. Echo 2016G is maybe our best looking Bonafide daughter to date. Grandam ESE Echo was purchased out of the Soo Line dispersal. ESE Echo 12X is still active in our program to date as a 13 year old cow. LFE Echo 3K is smooth made, sound in her structure, while offering enough mass and natural muscle. We see big time production in her future, but she also might be the best of our 4 heifer calves to show next spring and fall. 40 Female :: LFE 3K :: 2288481 :: January 01 2022 LFE BA Echo 3K Lot S A V RAINFALL 6846 SIRE S A V BLOODLINE 9578 S A V EMBLYNETTE 2369 LFE SROKA 399D DAM LFE BA EVENING TINGE 92G LFE BA EVENING TINGE 2215D Act. Pair of flush mates off our most proven and productive Angus cow. LFE Erica 38D is hard work ing Harvestor daughter. We’ve flushed her twice and she got back in calf both times, first heat after the flush. She’s huge ribbed, easy fleshing, tremendous foot, perfect udder, and predict able to breed. LFE 811F is a full brother to the daughters selling. He sold to Fredrickson Ranch in Nebraska in 2020. He was the lead off Angus yearling to sell that spring. Erica 38K is the bolder ribbed, lower set of the two. She’s as tanky and cow-like as we can make one. Erica 6K is the longer made sister. Smooth made, deep in that heart and chest. Both daughters will make extremely good cows. Coleman Bravo is now nothing new. But we are seeing the exceptional benefit he passes onto to his females in the pursuit of building high end cows.
As Beauty 7100 matures she follows in her mothers footsteps in both production and pheno type. She raised a feature heifer calf in last years collection sale selling for $25,000 to the Brad ford family and a $15,000 daughter to Bar EL in the Brooking Invitational sale as a first calver. She has raised the bar again this year when mated to the $250,000 SAV Bloodline. Beauty 2210 is a stout power hfr with an abundance of depth, rib shape while maintaining an angular front end; and yes, that udder looks unreal even at this stage of the game just as you expect from the beauty’s. This is a cow family that is becoming extremely sought after as they grow more potent with each generation. I feel this broody bloodline daughter will take things to the next level when she hits production.
I’ve been pretty fortunate to have had a couple of jobs that have allowed me with some of the best angus cows in the country. To this day Werner Black Angel 1299 is still at the top of the list of my favorites and the hardest I’ve ever had to say goodbye to when she sold 10 years ago. Her influence sells in black angel 2223 while being combined with BC Lookout, SAV Harvestor, and the great EA Rose 918 on the bottom. The 2034 two year old has a very strong resemblance to the original 1299 with her bold hip and rib shape, udder quality, and presence. When it comes to 2223 her character and style catch your eye from anywhere in the pen. Moderate framed, bold hipped, wide topped, adequate bone with extra hair, and extremely clean fronted make her unique in her kind. Combining her phenotype and pedigree she’s sure to earn her spot in any front pasture.
From the start this flush was very consistent. Barricade was a bull we identified to bring mater nal quality, skeletal mass and food quality to the table. He combined very well with this young Renovation donor. These two heifer calves are replicas of their impressive dam. Attractive pro filing, huge centre dimension and awesome udder development. The flush mate brothers are really rising to the top of the bull pen, and the full sib females are peas in a pod. We originally purchased embryos on the maternal granddam, to be the foundation of our black herd, and viewed her as one of the most impressive older cows we’ve ever seen. Maternal quality runs deep in this pedigree, stacking New Design 878,
17k is the type and kind we strive to raise and ones that have huge potential for being the next great one. Hairy, stout, deep sided, awesome fronted and headed is just a few terms to de scribe this girl. She is backed by our best angus donor female MissRusylvia 4x who is a direct SAV net worth daughter who has done nothing but good for us. If you are looking for a female to show or to take back home and put right into production this is one we think will excel in both. We are very excited and proud to be offering a female of this caliber in this great sale. Be sure to check her out.
This female may be one of the best angus females to ever walk Rusylvia. When selecting for this great sale you always want to send the best and this girl is a great example of that. One that is super attractive up through her front end and is big bellied, deep sided and has an awe some look. She was a class winner at Stockade round up and we think that is just the start of it. She is a daughter of the great Bar E L Natural Law and we all know what great females he makes. Her dam sold for $10,000 as a calf and is a picture perfect female with a great udder, look, and great feet and legs. We think a whole lot of this female and truthfully never intended to sell her but we always want to bring our best to town. This is one we think everyone will like.
An own daughter here of Stevenson Turning Point who has ben causing quite a stir the last couple years siring high quality progeny of both genders. 1K’s dam was a past high selling fe male from Ontario that was selected for her overwhelming depth and mass, while remaining refined in her front end. We see so many of those similar qualities in lot 50 herself, as she is as long as you can make one yet still soft enough through the centre portion of her body, with a big, broad top, wide pin set, with a stout lower quarter. We believe 1K has brood cow written all over her and think she will be a highly productive cow for years to come that will have the ability to raise daughters you’d want a whole herd of and sons that will push the scale down.
The result of an embryo purchased from the great Coleman Angus program in Montana, a full sib brother to 13K which is one of their best bulls and will be a sale feature in their spring bull sale! Donor dam Donna 197 is an ideal Angus cow, tons of breed character, depth, thickness and a gorgeous udder. Her production record is as impressive as she is to visualize. She is sired by Reslove, who is an own son of the #1 income and legendary donor for Coleman’s, Donna 714, who is also the mother to the likes of the $225,000 Coleman Triumph herdbull. Here’s a unique, exciting pedigree you buy with confidence thats backed by a great phenotype heifer that soft made, attractive and correct in her lines. Without a doubt, this female is an exciting one to build a cow family off of!
For ourselves at Grass Roots, our Angus Collection consignments have always centered around our biggest and best cow family - the Duchess females. We strive to offer our absolute best females for sale and Duchess 208 leads the way in 2022. She offers a little different twist than our Duchess consignments of the past two years, being a few generations from the origi nal 756T cow from Peak Dot. Her young Motive dam is an upcoming female in our herd and has done an awesome job on her first two progeny. 208 herself is an extra hairy, huge bodied female with a ton of functionality. She has a type and pedigree to offer a lot of mating flexibility. We used Ellingson Homegrown for his practical phenotype, high foot quality, and balanced EPD profile, and in 208 he passed along all of those attributes. The Duchess females we have sold in the past have had their best days ahead of them for their purchasers and we expect 208 to be the same. AngusGS tested.
Aja Annie 225k is a daughter from the famous musgrave stunner. As we all know stunner will hammer out consistent patterned low birth weight females. AJA Annie 225k is structurally cor rect combining ample mass dimension and eye Appeal. She represents the Annie cow family well; free moving feminine headed level hipped clean fronted structurally sound with excellent heel and neat tight udders.
Schwan Miss M’Brooke Lass 2004 has a ton of Future ahead of her in terms of her overall mass, stout hip and perfect utter placement. Coming from just a two-year old Range Boss grand daughter that is beautiful uttered, huge ribbed and stands on a solid foot. Her sire was a result of a flush we purchased at the legendary Motive event. His dam Brooking Rose 201 is incredible in her makeup and knew we wanted a whole herd of them. We couldn’t be happier with Jour neyman in terms of his shear power, solid foot, calving ease and the ability to create females like this.
Schwan Miss Blackcap 2031 is a heifer with a ton of eye appeal, big middled, great haired and sound structured. Her pedigree is as royal as it gets when you stack Resoure, Density, and Net worth. Her dam was our $21,000 pick out of the 2015 Brooking female sale and has become a big time donor cow for us. She is massive in her makeup with a solid foot and utter while still staying moderate and we think 2031 is destined to following in her mothers footsteps.
This heifer calf came to us through a flush we did on our SAV Enchantress 7015 cow, a Har vestor grand daughter we purchased through the world renown Schaff Angus Valley Sale. Enchantress 56K has been a powerhouse in our heifer pen. She is sleek fronted with an abso lute beautiful head and big ears. Her long body is wide topped and carries thickness down through her hip. She is sound moving and has adequate bone and lots of hair. She should be the type to raise power bulls or very maternal type cows. I look forward to seeing what she produces for her new owner. In terms of pedigree, there is power in the blood with Harvestor on the dam side, and the sire being Schiefelbein Showman 338, whose sought after semen sold for an outstanding $1850 a straw. This heifers maternal sister was shown by my daughter this past year in 4H and was awarded Grand Champion Heifer Achievement Day, and looks to be developing into an exciting female. Take note of this show heifer loaded with performance. She will be exhibited at Agribition.
KCH Rose 204K hits you hard, right from the moment from you see her. She has everything a big time Show/Donor female needs to be at the top of any program. She has the look, sub stance, hair, clean fluid movement, and the bold rib shape to make her a real standout. Rose’s gentle nature makes her suitable for any beginner showman. Her pedigree is stacked with breed legends, she blends the great Rose 918, Beauty 333, and Annie K 9165, in one high quality female. The Rose females are cherished by any that are lucky enough to own one, and Rose 204K is sure to make a huge impact in your program for years to come. Rose has already made a name for herself at the shows she has been to. She has won Multiple Heifer Calf Cham pionships and Jackpots. Rose was most recently slapped AG EX Senior Heifer Calf Champion in the open show and then went on to be slapped Junior Angus Heifer Calf Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Angus Female in the Junior Show. She is going to be extremely com petitive both in the show ring and in the front pasture.
Beauty 13K is a full sibling to the 2nd high selling bull in our 2022 bull sale to Cudmore Farms and maternal sister to Sure Fire, who was the 2nd High selling bull in our 2020 sale to Border Butte Angus. He was also part of our Agribition Champion pen of bulls that year. Her dam 16B has been an exceptional producer for us. We also can’t say enough good about her sire, MLG Authoritive. Authoritive’s progeny have been extremely well received thus far. Authori tive’s progeny have shown they have what it takes when it comes to fleshing ability, structural soundness, and just overall eye appeal.
We are excited to consign this elite heifer to the Angus Collection. She is as good as we have ever raised. She’s long, smooth, feminine, structurally sound with a great hair coat, and as much capacity and volume and stoutness as you can have. Her dam is a perfect footed, strong uddered brood cow by Peak Dot Bold. She has twice produced our high selling bull. Peak Dot Trust 86G is one of the most powerful and prolific sires to be produced in the Peak Dot program and his No Doubt dam is one of the very best in that herd. Cattle bred to be big topped, square hipped with massive volume. This is definitely one we are sad to part with but excited to see what the future holds for her!
One of two maternal sisters we are offering this year, Grace 9K might be one of the best heifer calves we have ever raised, we have been excited about her since she was born. She has al ways had the look, eye appeal, depth of body and overall thickness. 9K was a stand out in our fall show string and was very competitive in the senior division at the Olds Fall Classic and Farm Fair International. Out of a powerhouse SAV International/ Sooline Yellowstone cow we purchased in the 2017 Angus Collection sale from Remitall Farms, 9K will grow into a big powerful female like her dam. Sired by one of the most popular bulls in the industry Brooking Firebrand, there is lots of opportunity here with this female.
WHAMMY! This might just be the best angus heifer we have ever produced here!! Miss Legacy combines everything together in an awesome package; power, style, dimension, yet is super sound and can really get out and travel. One of my mentors in the Angus business told me BOSS 3117 was one of the better Angus cows we have had here, and that we shouldn’t be sell ing this heifer. Although I agree, I think you have to sell them like you’d buy them. This gorgeous heifer will be a valuable breeding piece to add to any program when she is done with her show career. We believe in this heifer enough that we would like to promote this heifer through her show career in return for a 1/3 embryo interest.
Exquisite 2092K was Scotty B’s pick of the Great Plains heifers, and for obvious reason. She is big hipped, explosive ribbed, extremely deep bodied and easy doing. This high performing heifer is in the top 8% for WW, YW and Milk, so if you are looking to add performance to your bull pen, this is a heifer that will do just that when she gets into production. We are really excited to see these Great Plains develop; his bulls calves are some of the highest performing calves we have raised. The muscle and shape these bulls are displaying will make them highly sought after this coming spring.
20/20 SAUGAHATCHEE 3K is a fine example of what we expect out of our AI synchro program on our heifers. We continually try to use a sire with a slightly different pedigree all while main taining our desired qualities. That being said, we strive to have these replacement females put a sale bull in our pen or leave us a daughter of equal quality or better; 13H did exactly that in 3K, and with the quality of udder 13H sports, we see no reason why 3K won’t be a producing machine long into her future.
Country Lane Lady Bing 59K is a moderate made female with lots of shape and super styl ish. You can’t help but admire her for her smooth lines, balanced structure, great footed and shows perfect udder development. To top it all, she has great hair and is an absolute dream to work with. Her dam was purchased out of the Everblack program and has been a solid producer for us. 23F is an ideal brood cow who is easy keeping, correct in her makeup and heavy milking…one of her many strong maternal strengths. 59K’s sire, 39G, is a home raised Sky High son we used for two years and he has not disappointed. As pointed out by many visitors, his females are consistently stamped with loads of eye appeal, muscle expression and sound structure in a feminine complete package. Here are two exciting paternal siblings on offer…you make the choice!
Country Lane Royal Lass 63K is a sight to see with her extra length of body, massive dimen sion, and attractive appearance. As noted above, her sire 39G, has given us a great set of calves that uniquely combine stoutness, base-width and muscle depth with superior struc tural soundness and hoof quality. Her dam, Riverfront Royal Lass 616D, I purchased from the Brooking Angus Ranch Open Sale Invitational Sale in 2016 as a heifer calf. She has matured in a beautiful cow that you wish you could have 50 of. Starting at her angular frontend, carry ing into her long spined and deep sided body and to top it all off, an ideal angus udder. 63K looks very similar to her Mom at this age and I believe she will develop into a replica of her if not somehow better.
16K has been a standout all summer long and made alot of friends. You have to appreciate her for her overall mass, body and rib shape while still maintaining an extremely feminine look. She walks out on an great foot and can really get out and move. With Harvestor, and sitz upwards in her pedigree this female is definitely one to look at.
La Conquista Ranches is striving to produce genetics with form, function and performance in mind. With the use of intensive ET programs, we can offer the best of the best in the 2022 edition of the Angus Collection Sale. La Conquista Blackcap America 205 ET, is a January born heifer calf with a stacked pedigree of the greatest genetics of SAV Program. Her sire, needs no introduction, SAV America 8018 whose offspring has been high sellers across the USA and Canada. Her Dam is also a cow that has contribute to many programs SAV Blackcap May 1434, full sister in blood to great sires like SAV Renown 3439 and SAV Resource 1441. This pedi gree gives you an idea of the powerhouse this heifer represents. This heifer, has been the first one to be noticed by everyone visiting our program this spring and summer. Despite her fast growth, she is a very feminine heifer, very correct in her stride and more depth than most at her age. Take the time to study her pedigree, and come and see her, you wont be disappointed, she is one that will be a great contribution to any herd looking to improve the growth on their herd, retaining the eye appealing of what an Angus female should look like.
Retaining one Flush at Sellers expense and buyers convenience.
Riverstone Georgina 3K is right off the top of the replacement pen. This smooth made, stylish female sired by SAV Rainfall is beautiful in her skeletal makeup, she shows such presence in her high neck placement at the top of her shoulder that carries all the way through to a well balanced set over her tail head. The Georgina 25A cow has always been a top producer at Riverstone and her heifer calves are always the ones to look at when you are walking though the pen. Two of 25A’s daughters have sold through is “Angus Collection” sale in previous years and she shows up again, and again bringing the quality of the offering higher every time.
