I don’t know if we have raised a fullblood that is as attractive and clean in her front end while still carrying as much capacity, depth of body, and muscle expression as 7K does. 7K is super sound on the move and looks to be dropping a real nice udder and teat placement. She was actually slated to be sold in the Friday Night Lights sale a year ago but we decided to hold her back and offer her up as a bred in this year’s edition of Border City. Her dam has been a great producer for us and raised a high selling bull in our bull sale a few year’s back that sold to Ten Bar Cattle Co. It is no coincidence that this bull is also the sire of our high quality 31K bred heifer also offered up in this sale. Her dam, 49H, CSA epd’s was the high selling female in our 2021 Bull & Female Sale to Arley ce Bohrson. 49H has remained at SVS and has matured into an excellent 10.1 young cow, a typical Tycoon daughter. The Bond/Tycoon cross is one bw 2.6 that we have done multiple times and one that we will continue to do in the future. Raft 43L stems from a really nice made female we purchased out of checkers a few years back from Sun-Star Simmentals crossed with the great Mader Walk The Line herdsire we used extensively after acquiring a semen pack after he sold. Josie is a dark red, sound footed, large volumed female that is high in her head and neck attachment. Being born in early February, she weighed in at just over 1000lbs in early October; a testament to the power and performance in this female. Along with her capacity, Josie maintains a fancy, tight front end that is attractive at all angles which should make her a valuable breeding piece going forward. 43L is about as docile as they come and could make a nice Junior project going forward.

41L’s pedigree is one that is real easy to read being raised by one of our really good cipher daughters and sired by Walk The Line. The original 12D cipher cow is one that has done great job for us and has far surpassed any expectations we originally had. We cannot say enough about our Cipher cow family.
