Hello and welcome to another edition of The Camrose Country Classic. We are honoured to be apart of this prestigious sale with a great group of breeders but also great friends. We have four heifers on offer that all showcase our cow herd and type we are trying to raise. Being out of dams that have proved they can produce should make for these girls to go out and get to work for there new owners. Heifers are on full herd health program and were ultrasounded before they went out on grass. We invite you to come look at the heifers at home anytime before the sale. A very impressive heifer that has all it all in terms of looks, genetics and potential!

Melody comes from our 302Z donor we purchased from Skor Simmentals, 302Z is a cow that is so unique in pedigree but also in terms of how powerful she is while still having a feminine look, she is one of the deepest and longest bodied cows we have seen. She really stamps her progeny as well. We had 7 embryo siblings from this mating 4 heifers and 3 bulls, we put in some more last spring, but I think I can already say this flush was a homerun. The 3 bulls were the top of our bull pen last spring and stirred up as much interest I’ve ever had on a particular group of bulls. A full sibling bull was our high seller for 24000 to Circle G Simmentals. Our best black bull in this year’s pen is also an Executive X 302Z embryo calf! The 4 heifers have been just as impressive to watch develop and we have been so excited to get them into production, not going to lie is a bit hard to watch this one go. 291J has great skeletal structure, easy fleshing, and is setting up a nice udder. Outcross genetics I have always thought the 4W genetics could be the hidden gem of the Simmental industry!! 26 Dam - 302Z

Sweetheart of a heifer coming from one of our favourite black Matrix daughters. Very attractive in her makeup all the while having a powerful hip structure and balanced body type. She has great feet and is setting in a very nice udder. The maternal power is stacked in this female as both dam and grandam have bulls in the 2023 bull pen, specifically 67G has a bull that I think is going to draw a lot of attention this spring he is the real deal!! An early breeding to LFE Nighthawk should complement this heifer very nicely. Bull or heifer the pedigree and cow families should make for a intriguing calf.

The powerhouse in our bred heifer group this year. The Killswitch x Charisma breeding really clicked on this one. We have great young cows from both of those herd bulls so to put them together in this package should make for this heifer to go on and have a great production record. 414J has loads of hair, bit more frame size, and tons of depth. Powerful cow family here with our old CRF 120Z cow showing up on the bottom side, even as a 10 year old cow she gets pointed out by a lot of visitors. I will a steal a saying from Gerald when I bought 120Z…... This cow should raise some bulls. I really think 414J has the broodiness and power to do the same! Interesting breeding to Nighthawk here as well. 27

Another Killswitch X Charisma bred heifer that has a great look and profile. The udder of this heifer should be lights out good as the dam 2E has an udder as good as it gets. Big barreled, length of body and great feet also describe this heifer very well. The killswitch sons have been very well received in our past bull sales, in fact have been our high selling red bulls for the past 3 years. The females have been every bit as good as we really get them into production. Out of a solid cow family and early breeding to the heifer friendly WHL Red Heat should provide a quick ROI.
