MEDNARODNI FESTIVAL ALPSKEGA CVETJA INTERNATIONAL WILD FLOWER FESTIVAL

Festival alpskega cvetja že dve desetletji povezuje naravo, kulturo, tradicijo in ustvarjalnost ter občanom in obiskovalcem približuje lepote alpskega sveta in bogastvo cvetja v Bohinju. V času festivala se kraj preobleče v barve cvetlic, številni dogodki pa povezujejo domačine, obiskovalce ter različna društva in ustanove.
For two decades, the Wild Flower Festival has been connecting nature, culture, tradition, and creativity, while bringing the beauty of the Alpine world and the richness of Bohinj’s flowers closer to both locals and visitors. During the festival, Bohinj is dressed in the colours of blossoms, and numerous events bring together residents, visitors, associations, and institutions.
Učenci OŠ dr. Janeza Mencingerja festival soustvarjamo že od samega začetka. Pripravljamo sadike, sodelujemo pri različnih dogodkih in razstavah, se učimo o naravi ter spodbujamo sokrajane k trajnostnemu načinu življenja. Letos smo se odločili, da za ustanove in restavracije pripravimo posebno cvetlično dekoracijo. Izdelali so jo učenci 4. razredov in učenci OPB pod mentorstvom Darje Ravnik, Martine Medja, Karmen Gregorič in Saše Arh. Dekoracija je bila najprej ročno izdelana (razstavljena v prostorih šole) in nato natisnjena na papir. Kozarčki, ki so del dekoracije, so reciklirani, zbrali pa smo jih učenci in učitelji naše šole. Poleg tega učenci ob tem spoznavamo tudi pomen podjetnosti, sodelovanja in ustvarjalnosti. Želimo vam prijetno druženje, okusno hrano in lepo festivalsko vzdušje. Učenci OŠ dr. The students of Dr. Janez Mencinger Elementary school have been helping shape the festival from the very beginning. We prepare seedlings, take part in various events and exhibitions, learn about nature, and encourage our community to embrace a more sustainable way of living. This year, we decided to create a special floral decoration for local institutions and restaurants. It was made by the 4th grade students and after-school programme students under the mentorship of Darja Ravnik, Martina Medja, Karmen Gregorič, and Saša Arh. The decoration was first handmade and exhibited at the school, and later printed on paper. The jars used as part of the decoration are recycled and were collected by the students and teachers of our school. Through this project, students also learn about entrepreneurship, cooperation, and creativity. We wish you pleasant gatherings, delicious food, and a wonderful festival atmosphere.
