Urban Nutcracker Digital Program

Dear Friends, The holiday season holds a special significance for all at the Boch Center. For me, it is especially true this year since I will be stepping down as President & CEO this coming spring. For 38 years it has brought me great joy to welcome you and your families into our theaters to create cherished holiday memories.

For the past six years I have been honored to host City Ballet’s Urban Nutcracker along with Tony Williams here at the Shubert Theatre. Its modern retelling of a beloved performance continues to transcend tradition, weaving jazz, ballet, tap, hip-hop, flamenco, and more into a mesmerizing dance spectacle and fusion of cultures. It is a unique twist on the holiday classic!

If you haven’t already, we hope you’ll visit our Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame (FARHOF). Housed in the Wang Theatre, FARHOF celebrates folk, Americana and roots music through displays, events, exhibits, concerts, educational programs and more.
