IT’S PERSONAL, WHAT’S UP WITH THE VINEYARDS?
Sometimes, we may not always understand God's plans, but we trust it is always good. Once again God is demonstrating His goodness towards us. This new chapter in our lives and the opportunities for Bob Vineyard Ministries are proof of that.
In June of 2024, we answered the call to have faith and relocate to the Tampa, Florida area. Packing only essential clothes, our dogs CoCo and Max, computers, and missions information, we embarked on this exciting journey. While we perceive this as an unspecified period until God directs us otherwise, He has enabled us to be here and maintain connections in Stephens City, Virginia, where our family and Spirit & Word Fellowship church community reside. We are truly grateful for this blessing.
But before you start picturing everything as all sunshine and sunsets for us, let me share with you what you can pray for, as we are aware that the real work is just beginning.
First and foremost, please pray that we find a local church to be connected to. As much as SWF is in our hearts and prayers as members, a local place to be connected to for worship is vital and necessary to what God has in store.
Secondly, our main missionary objective is twofold. Primarily, we aim to enhance our access to Cuba. By reducing travel costs from the Tampa International Airport to Cuba instead of the flight from the greater Washington DC area, more resources can be allocated to Gospel work. Dr. Bob will be bishop pro tem in an advisory capacity.
Secondly, the family connection between Cuba and Florida is strong and is undeniable. Numerous Christian Cubans have sought refuge in the Sunshine State, creating abundant opportunities for us to partner with them and their local churches to seek support. Cuban expatriates have a profound love for their homeland and those they left behind, understanding the challenging financial circumstances. Many are eager to share the Gospel back home and provide assistance to their loved ones in Cuba. This is where Bob Vineyard Ministries steps in.

So, we are being intentional with our time and finances here to support the current goal of the ministry.
By optimizing our retirement funds and the support from generous individuals like yourself, we are grateful for the opportunities provided by the Lord. Recently, we were blessed to secure a cozy two-bedroom, one-bathroom rental in a 55+ community through a childhood friend. It's amazing how God uses personal connections to spread the message of the Gospel.
If you area, we would be delighted if you would let us know. We would love to accommodate you in our cozy little home and involve you in the wonderful work happening in this heavenly place on earth.
What is a BVM newsletter without Cuba being front and center of its newsletter. We are so looking forward to partnering with God and His plans there. Although we look back over the 20 years of everything that’s been accomplished so far, we pray that it all fades in comparison to what is to come.
A 3-day conference is still in the hearts and minds of BVM and the local Cuban pastors to bring training, refreshment and encouragement. With transportation being so difficult and expensive because of the economic depression, these Spiritual leaders must be encouraged and strengthened to preach the Hope of Christ and His glory. We know that God will provide the funding necessary. Please continue to pray for the vision to be set before the men and women called to administrate this work.
Drs. Wilfredo and Regla continue the humanitarian work of feeding the elderly and the mentally challenged.
During their trip to Cuba, Evangelist Ray and Sandi Clark caught a fire for the people. They will be returning under the umbrella of their ministry Orchard Ministries International. Their goal is to hold three strategic healing ministry revivals in September of 2024. Dr. Wilfredo is working earnestly on the Cuban end in preparation of these meetings.
The sewing centers were opened in May of 2024. With three different centers in operation, at this time there are 48 women enrolled who are now not only learning a new vital trade to support their family, they are also able to demonstrate to the people that Jesus Christ is the prayer-hearing, prayeranswering God. Once the classes have been completed, the process, in essence, gets repeated for new women to attend and new funding will need to be provided for instructors and supplies. Pastor Shahid Chaman oversees the centers. Below you see him also praying for a woman who now can see! He loves God’s people in Pakistan.
Working with Bishop Safdar Marqus, BVM has been able to partner in the completion of the church pictured below. With the walls finally finished, the windows, doors and roof were able to be installed. This new church is in Chak 35, near the Faisalabad International Airport.
ThenewesttripbeingplannedistogotoKenyaandUgandainAugust. Asofrightnow, the church is completed in Mt. Elgon and there will be a dedication service. We are excitedtoreporttheBahariniChristianSchooliscompletedandwillbededicated. This was no small project! You might recall in our last newsletter, that the government officialswereplacinggreattimeconstraintsonitscompletion. Withthehelpofsome very generous individuals, BVM was able to send the necessary funds without interference.
Because of the monthly support to Kenya,PastorTitusisabletotaketime to work in prison ministry, something that is very dear to his heart. One of the prisoners you see here was convicted of murder. She now is a discipleofChrist!Gloryhallelujah!! This testimonyisnotuncommonunderthe leadership of Pastor Titus. The Holy Spiritworksmiraclesthroughhim.

UGANDA MISSIONS ALERT
Plans are being formulated with Pastor James Teira in Kampala, Pastor Andrew Mwagale in Jinja and Pastor David Welikhe in Busumbu for the proposed August trip. Dr Bob will be preaching in their churches and area pastors will be in attendance.
Abba’s House Childrens’ Center. Please keep Pastor Jose Rodriguez who administrates the school in your prayers. The house he was renting was demolished by a recent storm. Regardless of the hardship, he still ministers to the children.
Pastor Marisol in Curacavi, Chile, continues to pastor the church and Pastor Mike has been able to return to his first love teaching in Texas.
Together they understand the value of working together even if they aren’t in the same locale.

My mom and dad still continue to walk out the incredible mercy of God everyday as they have battled numerous health challenges, but the Lord shows Himself faithful. We do not claim what the enemy means for evil but do covet your prayers that they continue in His strength. They’ve both come and gone in and out of hospitals but there’s no place like home.

Dr. Bob Vineyard heeded the call to missions in 1973, having felt the call to preach at the early age of four. With over five decades of different ministry roles, he now dedicates himself entirely to missions.
He firmly believes that the most effective approach to global ministry involves empowering indigenous pastors to impact their communities, fostering a shift towards a Kingdom culture within their own contexts. Through BVM, individuals are provided with basic sustenance like simple rice and beans, which for some serves as their sole meal of the day. This act of compassion opens the door for Dr. Bob to share the Gospel, allowing listeners to embrace faith, undergo baptism, and commence a journey of spiritual growth under the guidance of local clergy.
