Happy childhood – better world! bObles is about being present, the joy of movement and the development of motor skills through play.

We make multifunctional tumbling furniture in a simple and quality-conscious design, which support children in their motor skill development by appealing to play and movement.

We believe in the positive closeness between you and your child. Closeness is a feeling that stays in the body and has a stimulating effect on children’s motor skill development. The joy of movement and the curiosity flourish when children are touched, looked at, listened to and played with on their own terms.

Can your kids’ furniture be an integrated part of your home decor? bObles Interior is a new collection that focus on integrating children’s furniture as part of the home interior – benefitting every member of the family.

We want to challenge the idea of furniture for children and asked a group of influencers, an interior stylist and a designer to draw outside the lines and show their take on the new bObles Living collection.

We want to give children the best start in life When children gain body awareness through motor skill development, they strengthen the ability to learn, they feel more confident, and have an easier time interacting with others. The children are better equipped to meet the world as the human beings they are.

Tube consists of two parts - a cylinder and an outer tube. When the Tube is standing up, it transforms into a stool or a round coffee table in a beautiful colour combination.

Place the outer tube on the side and decorate it with everything from rolled posters, small toys, or maybe your favourite magazine?

For children the Tube is full of play and movement. They can tilt from side to side in it or roll all the way round. The Tube is also fun to roll to each other or lie across and move forward. Hide a small item inside the Tube and reach for it, or crawl through the moving tunnel. Place the cylinder inside the outer tube to make it more stable or try to push it through the tube and move forward.

Wave S| Stepstones styled by @stinestoehs

Add a fun and wavy touch to your office, your living room, or kitchen with the Wave. Its organic soft shape fits beautifully on the desk or as a small sculpture on the floor. It can also be used as an alternative small coffee table or as a new footstool to your favourite chair.

Wave has a long and steady roll like a pendulum swinging from side to side – making it challenging and fun to balance on.

The size makes it ideal for the small child practicing to stand up or the older child that can sit across it and rock back and forth. bObles Large Step Stones are both decorative and functional. Spread them out like small colourful islands in the living room, use them as mini footrests to the dining chairs or sofa, or place them in creative formations on the window ledge.

They are also endless possibilities for active play.

Jump from island to island or use them as part of an obstacle course. They are also great for tummy time for the little ones. Turn the rounded end upwards and you have a small chair or turn it around and balance while you sit.

Wave L

Large Wave is a multifunctional piece of furniture that fits in the whole house. Use it as an alternative pouf and let your feet tilt back and forth or place it in the bedroom as a functional bedside table.

You can also place Wave in your living room or kitchen as a stool or abstract sculpture – the twisted round shape and two-tone colours gives a sense of infinity and calmness.

For children the large Wave is excellent to climb on, lie across and balance on. They can sit across it and rock gently from side to side or give a wild ride on horseback.

Design Edition is a sculptural furniture piece in 4 sizes that ignites creativity and imagination.

Children can make a winding path out of them and crawl through the jungle, tilt from side to side on the curved arches, or use them as a table and chair set.

Adults can benefit from them too. Build constructions in different heights and exhibit your favourite design items, place them next to each other creating wavy shapes across the floor, or use them as an alternative sofa table or stool.

Design Edition is originally designed for the Danish Design Museum for the “Century of the child� exhibition.

bObles Cone is five furniture pieces in one.

Each part has a geometrical shape with a twist, creating elegant and surprising combinations.

They can function as table and chairs, a challenging obstacle course, be built into a tower or a small indoor hideout.

Put the pieces together in a cone shape and use it as a tall table next to the sofa – the colour graduation from bottom to top adds depth to the room and gives a harmonic look.

The Cone is ideal where space is limited as the five parts are easily stacked. bObles large Foam Ball is more than just a ball. The simple, round shape and soft velvetlike surface gives it an exclusive touch. Use it as an extra mini chair around the coffee table, place one or more on the shelf as a decorative accessory, or let the play begin on the floor.

Push the large Foam Ball to each other and sense the speed or lie across it on the stomach and roll forward. You can also roll the Foam Ball as a bowling ball. How many “pins” did you hit?
