INTRODUCING BOBLES: PLAY MEETS DEVELOPMENT

At the heart of bObles is an ambition to inspire children to engage in active play. We are committed to provide families with thoughtfully designed, quality products that not only activates, but also inspires and invites play. At bObles, we believe in the power of play to unlock a child’s full potential. By crawling, rolling, balancing and jumping children build the foundation for a healthy and balanced body - the best start in life.

Founded by the visionary sisters, Bolette and Louise Blædel, bObles has been at the forefront of the concept of play since 2006. From childhood companions in the ’70s to empowered women and mothers, the sisters pioneered a new product category and established a renowned brand.

The journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to combine the design of geometrically shaped furniture inspired by animals with durable materials to create products that promote active play and invites to creativity. These pieces had to meet several criteria — effortless cleaning, noiseless functionality, durable quality, and undeniable aesthetic appeal — all seamlessly integrated into one.

Out of this they created bObles.

From simple sketches of animals in notebooks to the exploration of the right materials, the products evolved and debuted first in 2006. Physiotherapists were intrigued, children were captivated at first glance, and parents applauded with joy.

A new product category was born.

Today, the Elephant graces most children’s rooms in Denmark and has emerged as an icon in Danish design. Yet, our vision remains unchanged, perhaps even more vital now than ever; We design for play, life, and happy children.

ELEPHANT

With its beautiful Danish design, bObles Elephant is without a doubt one of our most iconic and popular tumbling furniture to date. Its hard for us to imagine a children’s room today without the elegant and multifunctional Elephant, that can help children reach the top shelf, stimulate movement, and play, or give them something fun to sit on. bObles Elephant can easily contribute to the danish concept ”hygge”, making every child’s room cozy and fun.

bObles Elephant is the perfect rocking horse and fun seesaw for children of all ages. Put together with bObles Chicken you are guaranteed hours of fun for you and your baby on parental leave. When your baby is laying on the stomach on the Chicken and Elephant, both neck and back are strengthened while feeling the fun tilting sensation. Your toddler can try to tilt back and forth or from side to side while sitting on bObles Elephant and as your child grows bigger, dare to do the tilt standing up while balancing on your feet.

CHICKEN

Every child should have a bObles Chicken! It will without a doubt be your most trusted companion throughout your parental leave, as it works wonders when your baby is practicing laying on its stomach, strengthening the neck and back.

Chicken also fits perfectly into the stomach of the big bObles Elephant making it fun and easy to tilt back and forth. As a toddler you can sit on the bObles Chicken and it will give you a fun and challenging tilt, while rocking from side to side or back and forth challeging your toddler’s balance.

When your child can stand you can tilt on the Chicken standing up. And if you want to be really daring try doing it on just one leg. The whole family can join in on the challenging fun!

CROCODILE

bObles Crocodile quickly became one of our bestsellers and for good reason! bObles Crocodile will develop with your child from baby to toddler and child. There are so many ways to use and have fun with bObles Crocodile that your child will be able to use it for many years.

There is no other toy that can match bObles Crocodile when it comes to challenging your child’s balance and coordination skills. When your baby is little you can turn Crocodile over, and your baby can lay on its back looking up at his or her parents while feeling a gentle tilting motion and sharing a moment of joy. By placing bObles Chicken under bObles Crocodile the tilt becomes a little bigger and a lot more fun.

The steps on the back of bObles Crocodile is fun and challenging for the crawling child and a great way to train reflexes. When the child is old enough to walk, the steps makes getting in and out of bed a lot easier and can make your toddler or child feel more independent. bObles Fish is one of our most versatile tumbling furniture and has an endless number of possibilities for motor skill development and play. As soon as your baby can hold up its own head bObles Fish becomes a fast hit.

At first the baby can enjoy rolling across on the side of bObles Fish which strengthens the neck and back – a great exercise to do on parental leave. Later, your baby can practice standing up with the support and help of bObles Fish. Your toddler challenges the balance by sitting crosslegged on bObles Fish.

Crawl, jump, roll, play! bObles Anteater sparks not only the imagination but also the joy of movement, and with its beautiful Danish design it is essential to have in every child’s room.

It is hard not to love seeing what your children can imagine, do, and play with all four parts of bObles Anteater. The great thing about bObles Anteater is its many different functions. You can transform it into almost anything, from a rocking horse, a staircase, a set of table and chairs or a challenging part of an obstacle course. Two of the parts tilt while the other two are static, which make the staircase and stool a little extra fun and challenging for the child.

Place the second smallest part underneath the two bigger parts and suddenly you have a great rocking horse for the toddler and child.

bObles Anteater is also fun to stack on top of each other building a tall tower and even more fun watching it all fall again! Every child loves bObles Dino – and so will you! It’s hard to find another toy that sparks as much joy for so many years as bObles Dino does.

bObles Dino is simply amazing at stimulating both your child’s imagination as well as motor skill development. Both baby, toddler and child can use it as a fun slide and exciting climbing frame.

The small part of Dino has a ridged side and is therefore great at sparking the baby’s senses when played with. The same part works great as a staircase leading up to the fun slide that tickles and brings laughter whenever it’s used.

Here is the perfect gift for the whole family!

bObles Turtle is for everyone from baby to grandmother and every home has a place for it.

The soft arch and large support surface makes it ideal for the little baby who needs help laying on the stomach, strengthening the neck and back. These very same qualities make bObles Turtle the perfect balance board for both children and adults.

When the children are done playing “the floor is lava” with bObles Turtle, there is no excuse for mom and dad not to challenge their balance while cooking dinner. DONUT

Who does not love jumping? We believe every child and childlike soul should own a bObles Donut simply because jumping sparks joy in everyone.

bObles Donut comes in three sizes, one for every family member. But just because you are big, does not necessarily mean that you should have the bigger Donut. Mom and dad will guaranteed love the movement and concentration that comes with sitting on Donut small on top of a chair. Just as the small baby will smile with joy when strengthening the neck and back on Donut medium.

Turn Donut sideways and have a blast as both toddlers, children and adults jump around the living room. The jumping sensation is a lot of fun for your baby when sitting on Donut while mom and dad hold on tight. If you put your hands on bObles Donut and give it a little tap, your baby can feel the fun vibrations sparking excitement and curiosity. DONUT SWING

Remove the foam plug from the Donut by pushing it out and replacing it with the Swing. Hang the Donut swing from a tree or a hook in the ceiling and adjust the length of the rope to fit the child. Let the child Swing across the room and touch the sky.

FOAM BALLS & STEPSTONES

For the youngest this bObles Ball is great and challenging to roll back and forth between you, as well as being exciting to watch as it spins and spins like a spinning top.

The soft EVA-foam makes it comfortable to use when stimulating your child’s or baby’s senses and because of its lightweight it is easy for every child to play with.

Stepstones are the ideal toy for building elaborate obstacle courses and for a game of “the floor is lava”. Follow the road of Stepstones leading you to a hidden treasure somewhere in the house.
