잠자리 따라가는 냇물 위에는 청개구리 누워서 여행 가지요.

모래알 따라가는 냇물 속에는 싱그러운 풀잎도 춤을 추지요.
What a large flower it is, that large! Eating what? It would be grown eating the sky. It would be grown eating the wind.
개울물 소리 - 석용원
비 내리면 산 부풀고 산 부풀면 개울물 넘친다. 비 내리면 산자락 빗소리 모았다가 비 그친 골짜기 개울물 소리로 흘러흐른다.
엄마손은 요술쟁이
엄마가 소금물에 담가 놓은 배추는 빨간물감 들인 김치로 입에서 녹는다. 하나하나 물들일 때마다 '하나만 하나만' 귀찮게 따라붙어 입을 내밀면 새콤매콤 빨간배추김치 입에서 녹는다.

겨울 이야기- 이상현
겨울은 아이들 때문에 찾아온다. 알밤처럼 단단하게 여물어가는 목소리. 딱 벌어진 가슴으로, 눈싸움하는 개구쟁이들이 좋아 겨울은 언제나 눈송이를 터뜨린다. 불꽃처럼 사방에서 터뜨리는 그 눈밭에서 아이들은 날마다 깔깔대며 자란다. 제 키보다 큰 눈사람 만들 때, 제 몸무게보다 더 무거운 그 겨울을 혼자서 굴릴 때 아이들은 부쩍부쩍 자란다.
그런데 밥상위에 김치는 입밖에서 익는다. 엄마가 손이 뭍어야 입안에서 녹는다. 엄마 손은 요술쟁이 !! ■ Mom's Hand is a Magician
The cabbage which Mom salted in brine turns in Kimchi and melt in my mouth. Whenever she dyes one cabbage after another, I follow boringly Mom to give some of it, saying "just only one, only one," pouting my mouth to her. The hot and sour red Kimchi melts in my mouth.

When making a snowman taller than their height, When rolling alone the winter heavier than their weight, The kids grow with a run.

꼴 먹이러 소 끌고 나간 냇가 모래밭엔 가을이 햇살과 뒹굴고 있었다. 아이들은 와- 와소리치며 황금빛 목욕을 하고 ■

The apple trees which pick up the golden sunlight, with a handful of sunbeams, are heavy with the fall.

꽃신(당혜) 당혜는 상류층 부녀자나 양반집 규수가 혼수를 장만할 때 준비하는 귀한 신이었다. 신코에 당초문을 수놓았는데 몸체는 가죽이나 겉에는 비단을 씌웠다.

춘분(春分) 보리밭에 거름내고 파종하며 도랑을 치며 못자리의 논둑을 바르고 밭을 갈아 감자를 심는다.
곡우(穀雨) 볍씨를 담그고 못자리를 고르며, 못자리에 낙농하고, 논을 갈며, 고추, 수박, 오이씨를 뿌리고 거름을 주고 제비가 보이기 시작한다.

입동(立冬) 마늘을 심고 김장을 한다. 뱀이 안 보인다. 메주를 쑨다. 제비가 간다.
대설(大雪) 눈이 많이 오면 풍년의 징조이다. 새끼줄을 꼬고 연장을 수리한다.

주로 부엌 벽에 걸어서 사용하는 벽걸이 등잔입니다. 벽걸이 등잔은 벽에 걸어도 거추장스럽지 않도록 대여섯 치 내외로 짧게 만들며, 나무, 돌, 철 등 다양한 재료로 제작되었습니다. 조선 후기에는 유기로 만든 양식화된 등잔이 다량으로 제작되기도 했습니다.

부채 가는 대오리로 살을 만들어 넓적하게 벌려서 그 위에 종이나 헝겊을 바른 것이다. 부채란 ‘부치는 채’라는 말인데, 무더위에 바람을 일으켜 서늘하게 했다.

백로(白露) 고추, 목화, 콩, 수수, 토란을 수확하기 시작한다.
한로(寒露) 벼, 콩등을 수확하고 밀, 보리를 파종한다. 서리가 내리기전 무와 배추를 뽑는다. 보리를 다 심고 추수를 하며 기러기가 온다.

양은 도시락통 학교다닐때 밥을 보관 이동하기 위해 사용했다. 흔히 나무와 놋쇠등으로 만들었던 밥통은 근대 시기를 지나면서 양은, 스테인리스강등으로 변화하였다.

소서(小暑) 모내기를 하고 첫 김매기를 한다. 감자와 삼을 수확한다. 가을 무밭을 간다. 오이, 참외, 수박을 따먹게 되고 매미가 울기 시작한다.
처서(處暑) 벼가 패이고 논에 허수아비를 세운다. 작물이 결실을 맺기 시작한다.
