STAINLESS STEEL

PLAYGROUND stainless-steel items are generally heat-resistant and dishwashersafe. When cleaning by hand, do not use abrasive cleaners or rough cleaning tools, as these may leave scratches on the surface.

Stainless steel should not be stored in a humid environment for extended periods, and water residues should be removed immediately.

Stainless-steel items are not suitable for use in the microwave.

Fingerprints may become visible on the surface during use. These can be removed with a silver polishing cloth or with hot water followed by drying with a soft cloth.

GLASS

All glass items offered are dishwashersafe and microwave-safe. The items are not heat-resistant.

Glass straws can also be cleaned with a cleaning brush, as offered in the PLAYGROUND range. They are temperatureresistant from –50 to +150 °C.

RAW CAST IRON

Pots and pans made of raw cast iron are heat-resistant and suitable for stovetop use, but not microwave-safe.

Never place hot pots and pans directly on an unprotected surface!

Raw cast-iron cookware is seasoned with rapeseed oil during production. It should always be kept lightly oiled to prevent corrosion. Before first use, rinse cast iron with clear water.

Clean cookware without detergent, using only hot water. Even better, simply wipe raw cast iron with a paper towel. To remove burnt-on residue, cast iron can occasionally be “scrubbed” with 2 tablespoons of salt and a kitchen towel.

ENAMELLED CAST IRON / COCOTTES

Pots and pans made of enamelled cast iron are suitable for all types of stovetops but are not microwave-safe.

Never place hot pots and pans directly on an unprotected surface!

Enamelled cast-iron pots are not dishwashersafe. Do not use abrasive cleaners or rough cleaning tools, as these may scratch the surface. Ensure the pots are thoroughly dried before storing or stacking them.

CAST-IRON TEAPOTS

Before first use, rinse the teapot several times thoroughly with warm water.

Heat the teapot only when it is at least twothirds full.

A cast-iron teapot is suitable for all heat sources except gas stoves. It must never be heated in a microwave.

After each use, rinse the teapot with warm water only. Do not put the teapot in the dishwasher and do not clean it with abrasive sponges or similar tools.

WOOD

Wood is a natural material, and color variations may occur.

The offered products are neither microwave-safe nor dishwasher-safe.

Please clean wood products only with a damp cloth. Our wooden items are sealed with a food-safe oil (e.g., linseed oil). If needed, they can be reconditioned by applying edible oil.

Bamboo items can be cleaned in warm soapy water.

MARBLE

Marble is a natural product, and variations in color and structure may occur. Significant deviations are possible.

Marble is not dishwasher-safe and should not be placed in the microwave or oven. Use a pH-neutral cleaner and warm water for cleaning.

Please note that foods with high acidity (e.g., fruit acids/citric acid) may damage the stone’s surface if left in contact for an extended period. Additionally, strongly coloring foods such as saffron or curry may cause stains that cannot be removed.

NATURAL STONE

The natural stones are untreated natural products; therefore, significant variations in color and structure may occur. Dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly from item to item.

Natural stone has a porous surface and is therefore difficult to clean, especially from stains (particularly grease).

Foods with high acid or fat content (especially fruit acids/citric acid) may damage the surface if left for too long.

To clean the stones, use a damp cloth and pH-neutral cleaning agents. To enhance the surface appearance, natural stone can occasionally be treated with edible oil (e.g., linseed oil).

SLATE

As a natural material, slate may show slight variations in color, structure, and size due to its inherent properties.

Slate is not oven-safe, dishwasher-safe, or microwave-safe.

To clean slate, use a damp cloth and pH-neutral cleaning agents. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch or damage the surface.

Natural slate is difficult to clean of stains (especially grease). To improve the surface appearance and reduce visible stains, slate can occasionally be treated with edible oil (e.g., linseed oil).

Foods with high acidity (especially fruit acids/citric acid) may damage the surface if left in contact for too long.

STONEWARE

All stoneware products offered in the PLAYGROUND collection are dishwashersafe, microwave-safe, heat-resistant, and freezer-safe.

Due to the surface properties, metal marks may occur. These can be removed with appropriate cleaners and do not affect the functionality or hygiene of the item.

To ensure long glaze durability, food residues should not be allowed to dry on the surface. Immediate removal with paper or

a soft plastic scraper makes cleaning easier and protects the glaze.

Variations in color and texture of the glaze are inherent to the product and emphasize the unique character of each item. The intensity of these variations may differ from collection to collection.

Embrace: The unglazed exterior surface is more sensitive to colored and fatty foods, which may lead to discoloration.

TERRACOTTA

Terracotta items offered are oven-safe, microwave-safe, freezer-safe, and dishwasher-safe.

Allow items to dry completely after cleaning and store them in a well-ventilated, dry place.

Avoid extreme temperature changes and do not place hot terracotta on cold surfaces to prevent damage to the items and underlying materials.

TERRAZZO

Terrazzo consists of white cement mixed with natural stone chips.

Each piece is therefore unique, and slight color variations between items may occur.

Terrazzo plates are neither dishwasher-, microwave-, nor oven-safe. Clean with a pH-neutral cleaner and warm water.

Please note that foods with high acidity (especially fruit acids/citric acid) may damage the surface if left in contact for too long. Strongly coloring foods such as saffron or curry may cause stains that cannot be removed.

TEXTILE

The bread paper bag is made of 100% sustainably sourced natural materials.

The material is a blend of cellulose and latex and can be machine-washed at 30 °C.

The item is tear-resistant, durable, and can be ironed at an appropriate temperature if needed.

EDELSTAHL

Die Edelstahlartikel von PLAYGROUND sind grundsätzlich hitzebeständig und spülmaschinengeeignet. Bei der Reinigung von Hand keine Scheuermittel und rauen Reinigungsutensilien verwenden, da diese auf der Oberfläche Kratzspuren hinterlassen können.

Edelstahl sollte nicht über einen längeren Zeitraum in feuchter Umgebung aufbewahrt werden und Wasserrückstände unmittelbar entfernt werden.

Nicht geeignet sind Edelstahlartikel für den Einsatz in der Mikrowelle.

Bei Gebrauch können Fingerabdrücke auf der Oberfläche sichtbar werden. Diese können mit einem Silberputztuch oder mit heißem Wasser und Nachreiben mit einem trockenen Tuch entfernt werden.

GLAS

Alle angebotenen Glasartikel sind spülmaschinengeeignet und mikrowellengeeignet. Die Artikel sind nicht hitzebeständig.

Die Glasstrohhalme können zudem mit einer Reinigungsbürste, wie im PLAYGROUND Sortiment angeboten, gesäubert werden. Die Glasstrohhalme sind Temperaturbeständig von – 50 bis + 150 °C.

GUSSEISEN ROH

Töpfe und Pfannen aus rohem Gusseisen sind hitzebeständig und auf dem Herd einsetzbar, aber nicht mikrowellengeeignet.

Platzieren sie heiße Töpfe und Pfannen niemals direkt auf einer ungeschützten Oberfläche!

Rohe Gusseisen Töpfe und Pfannen werden bei der Fertigung mit Rapsöl eingebrannt. Sie sollten immer leicht eingefettet sein, um Korrosion zu verhindern. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch muss Gusseisen mit klarem Wasser abgespült werden.

Das Kochgeschirr wird ohne Spülmittel nur mit heißem Wasser abgespült. Noch besser ist es, wenn das rohe Gusseisen Kochgeschirr nur mit einem Papiertuch ausgewischt wird. Um eingebrannte Partikel zu lösen, kann Gusseisen bei Bedarf gelegentlich mit 2 Esslöffeln Salz und einem Küchentuch einem „Peeling“ unterzogen werden.

GUSSEISEN/COCOTTEN EMAILLIERT

Töpfe und Pfannen aus emailliertem Gusseisen sind auf allen Herdarten einsetzbar, aber nicht mikrowellengeeignet.

Platzieren sie heiße Töpfe und Pfannen niemals direkt auf einer ungeschützten Oberfläche!

Emaillierte Gusseisen Töpfe sind nicht spülmaschinengeeignet. Bei der Reinigung keine Scheuermittel und rauen Reinigungsutensilien verwenden, da diese auf der Oberfläche Kratzspuren hinterlassen können. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Töpfe vor Lagerung oder Stapelung gut abgetrocknet sind.

GUSSEISEN/TEEKANNEN

Vor der ersten Benutzung Teekanne mehrfach gründlich mit warmem Wasser ausspülen.

Erhitzen Sie die Kanne nur, wenn sie mindestens zu zwei Dritteln gefüllt ist.

Eine gusseiserne Kanne ist für alle Wärmequellen außer Gasherde geeignet. Sie darf auf gar keinen Fall in einer Mikrowelle erwärmt werden.

Die Teekannen nach jedem Gebrauch nur mit warmem Wasser ausspülen. Die Kanne darf nicht in die Spülmaschine und nicht mit scharfen Spülschwämmen o.ä. gereinigt werden.

HOLZ

Holz ist ein Naturprodukt, das in seiner Farbgebung variieren kann.

Die angebotenen Produkte sind weder mikrowellen- noch spülmaschinengeeignet.

Bitte reinigen Sie Holzprodukte nur mit einem feuchten Tuch. Unsere Holzartikel sind mit einem lebensmittelechten Öl (z. B. Leinöl) versiegelt. Bei Bedarf können sie durch das Einreiben mit Speiseöl nachbehandelt werden.

Die Bambusartikel können in einer warmen Seifenlauge gereinigt werden.

MARMOR

Marmor ist ein Naturprodukt, das sich in Farbe und Struktur unterscheiden kann.

Es kann zu deutlichen Abweichungen kommen.

Marmor ist nicht spülmaschinengeeignet und sollte auch nicht in die Mikrowelle oder in den Ofen. Zum Reinigen verwenden Sie bitte ein pH-neutrales Reinigungsmittel und warmes Wasser.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass Lebensmittel mit einem hohen Säuregehalt (v.a. Fruchtsäure/ Zitronensäure) bei längerem Kontakt die Oberfläche des Steins angreifen können. Weiterhin können färbende Lebensmittel, wie Safran oder Curry, auf den Produkten platziert, zu Verfärbungen führen, die nicht mehr entfernt werden können.

NATURSTEIN

Bei den Natursteinen handelt es sich um ein reines unbehandeltes Naturprodukt, daher kann es zu signifikanten Abweichungen in Farbe und Struktur kommen. Die angegebenen Maße dienen lediglich zur Orientierung und können produktbedingt variieren.

Die Natursteine haben eine poröse Oberfläche und sind daher schwierig von Flecken (v.a. Fett) zu befreien.

Lebensmittel mit einem hohem Säure- und Fettgehalt (v.a. Fruchtsäure/Zitronensäure) können bei längerem Kontakt die Oberfläche des Steins angreifen.

Zur Reinigung der Steine, verwenden Sie bitte ein feuchtes Tuch und pH-neutrale Reinigungsmittel. Um eine schönere Oberflächenwirkung zu erzielen kann der Naturstein gelegentlich mit Speiseöl (z.B. Leinöl) behandelt werden.

SCHIEFER

Schiefer als Naturprodukt kann geringfügige Abweichungen in seiner Farbe, Struktur und Größe aufweisen, die auf Grund der Beschaffenheit des Materials nicht vermeidbar sind.

Schiefer ist nicht ofenfest, spülmaschinengeeignet oder mikrowellengeeignet.

Um Schiefer zu reinigen, verwenden Sie bitte ein feuchtes Tuch und pH-neutrale Reinigungsmittel. Bitte benutzen Sie zur Reinigung keine Scheuermittel / Scheuerschwämme, da diese die Oberfläche des Schiefers verkratzen bzw. angreifen können.

Naturbelassener Schiefer ist schwierig von Flecken (v.a. Fett) zu befreien. Um eine schönere Oberflächenwirkung zu erzielen und ggf. Flecken zu minimieren, kann der Schiefer gelegentlich mit Speiseöl (z.B. Leinöl) behandelt werden.

Lebensmittel mit einem hohem Säuregehalt (v. a. Fruchtsäure / Zitronensäure) können bei längerem Kontakt die Oberfläche des Schiefers angreifen.

STEINZEUG

Die innerhalb der Kollektion PLAYGROUND angebotenen Produkte aus Steinzeug sind alle spülmaschinenfest, mikrowellengeeignet, hitzebeständig und tiefkühlgeeignet.

Aufgrund ihrer Oberflächenbeschaffenheit kann es zu Metallabrieb kommen. Dieser kann mit entsprechenden Mitteln entfernt werden und beeinflusst die Funktionalität und Hygiene der Artikel in keiner Weise. Um eine lange Lebensdauer der Glasur zu gewährleisten, sollten Speisereste nicht antrocknen. Eine sofortige Entfernung mit Papier oder einem weichen Kunststoffschaber erleichtert die Reinigung und schützt die Oberfläche.

Unterschiede in Farbe und Haptik der Glasur sind produktbedingt und unterstreichen den individuellen Charakter jedes Artikels. Die Stärke dieser Unterschiede kann von Kollektion zu Kollektion variieren.

Embrace: Die unglasierte Außenfläche weist eine erhöhte Empfindlichkeit gegenüber färbenden und fetthaltigen Speisen auf, was zu Verfärbungen führen kann.

TERRAKOTTA

Die angebotenen Artikel aus Terrakotta sind ofen-, mikrowellen-, gefrier- und spülmaschinengeeignet.

Lassen Sie die Artikel nach dem Reinigen vollständig trocknen und lagern Sie diese an einem gut belüfteten und trockenen Ort.

Bitte vermeiden Sie starke Temperaturunterschiede und platzieren Sie heißes Terrakottageschirr nicht auf kalten Untergründen, um Schäden am Artikel und den Untergründen zu vermeiden.

TERRAZZO

Das Material Terrazzo besteht aus weißem Zement mit natürlichen Steinsplittern.

Jede Platte ist somit ein Unikat und es kann zu leichten Farbunterschieden zwischen den Artikeln kommen.

Die angebotenen Platten aus Terrazzo sind weder spülmaschinen- noch mikrowellenoder ofengeeignet. Zum Reinigen verwenden Sie bitte ein pH-neutrales Reinigungsmittel und warmes Wasser.
