According to Victoria, "A wedding planner doesn’t only help you out in the months and weeks leading up to your wedding. We are also there to coordinate on the day itself. Think of your planner as a safety net on your wedding day. If anything goes wrong (and something always does) we’re there to resolve it and most times, it is being taken care of behind the scene and the couples do not have a clue!

Imagine it started to get cloudy on your outdoor wedding day, after weeks of forecast saying 0% chance of rain? Well, this happened to us at one of our recent weddings. In under few minutes, we relocated all the décor to an indoor space, which we worked out with the venue, prior to the event. Even though the chance of rain was non-existing, we still made a contingency plan.

On your wedding day, your only role is to soak up every memorable second and have a blast. After all, this is supposed to be the happiest day of your life!"

1. Think about vows, what you are wanting, whether you want to write them yourself or use traditional vows. Being able to allow your officiant to give you the ceremony you want, be sure to keep in mind vows.

After all this is your day, so do the vows you both want to do. 2. Research unity ceremonies beforehand. Some couples love the simplicity of the sand ceremony, or the unity candle, and some love to make their own. I have completed coke and whiskey ceremonies, handfasting ceremonies, sand ceremonies, candle ceremonies, even tree planting ceremonies. Some couples love adding this feature to their wedding and some do not, research this before you meet, and your officiant will guide you in the right direction. 3. One of my pet peeves with weddings is start time, often I find myself showing up at the venue very early being punctual and professional. When we are left in the dark with start times it throws everything off. The venue, the DJ, the caterer, be prompt and professional. I am more lenient with smaller weddings that does not have the amenities of a bigger wedding.

Even though this is your day, try to still be punctual and professional with everyone involved. 4. Reviews: We want to know how we did, many couples leave reviews, and many do not. I have received many weddings simply off of the reviews.

Many couples leave reviews for future couples, many do not. This lets us know what to keep doing and what not to do again.

LU XU RIOUS Most importantly, once you have finished decluttering and rearranging everything inside, does your room now feel much readier to pop? As soon as it does, move on to theom.

There’s a lot to be said for simplicity. For instance, start by going room to room and decluttering along the way. Decide what isn’t absolutely necessary, not just the things that look aesthetically outof-place, but also those items that don’t purposefully belong. Keep an eye out for any furniture that doesn’t really mesh with the room’s overall tone. Afterwards, take a second look to spot any furniture that looks like it has very little to no purpose, no real reason it needs to be there in the first place.

Merriam-Webster defines the word luxurious as: “characterized by opulence, sumptuousness, or rich abundance: of, relating to, or marked by luxury.” So, that begs the question, can you make your home feel more luxurious without spending a lot of money? And the answer is… yes. Yes, most assuredly, you can. By making slight changes to your overall décor, you can transform each and every room in your home into a seemingly opulent palace of glamour, style, and luxury, without having spent a fortune.

Once you have finished eliminating what doesn’t belong and rearranging, take a step back so you can take in each room on the whole. Being able to pull back to get a bird’s eye view of a room’s entire landscape will help you determine if there’s anything left that you overlooked the first time. Does your room have harmony? Is there an interconnected rhythm flowing from one thing to another and all the way throughout?

Greenery and floral arrangements add elegance, class, and sophistication to any room. Try placing a few decorative vases filled with bright, fresh flowers around and then stand back and watch your room miraculously burst forth and pop with vibrant new color. It’s astonishing just how much flowers can transform a drab room and make it truly come to life.

However, the one downside of flowers is their lifespan. It can become quite costly to keep replenishing your flower supply on a continual basis. That being the case, think about decorating your rooms with plants that don’t require all that much upkeep and that live for much longer.

For instance, consider orchids since they bloom in cycles or think about including a few cacti and other succulents in your design, since they last for years.

3. layer up There is a danger that comes with decluttering. The moment you finish removing any and all excess clutter and are done with the redecorating process, there is the distinct possibility that you might get the impression that each room suddenly feels bare and boring rather

than lush and relaxing. If you think that’s the case, don’t rush to put everything back in its original place. Instead, consider layering your rooms.

You’d be surprised at exactly how much a stylish area rug dresses up a studding floor or by what design miracles elegant runners perform on your dining room table. And what about a simple throw or two? Throw blankets are your sofa and accent chairs’ best friends.

Don’t just look out your windows, look at them. Be up-close and personal.

Upgrading your window treatments give your rooms immediate and long-lasting face lifts.

Stylish drapery makes a resounding impression. Try adding silk, linen, or textured curtains to your windows. See which type looks best. Any of all three choices can add flare and beauty to your windows, which, in turn, will make your rooms feel much more luxurious, and all for pennies on the dollar.

5. lavish lighting Whether it’s by your bedside, above your dining room table, set up on a kitchen island, or situated right next to your living room sofa, picking the right lighting is an amazing way to make a statement and instantly upgrade an entire room.

Exquisite lighting is an essential element of beautiful home décor. It accentuates the style of every room you have. And though this is a relatively obvious statement, it still bears mentioning, even if just in passing; make sure the lighting fixture matches the room.
