PRESIDENT Donald Trump began his brief statement at the White House briefing room by saying that: “If you count the legal votes, I easily win.” After keeping his silence for about two days, Trump simply repeated his unfounded allegations that he is being cheated in the ongoing tabulation of votes. MANILA (Mabuhay) — Ahead of the resumption of session, congressional leaders met on Thursday to discuss the common agenda of the Senate and the House of Representatives for the remaining 20 months of the 18th Congress. Senate President Vicente Sotto III and Speaker Lord Allan Velasco themselves led the informal caucus held at a hotel in Mandaluyong City. The meeting, which Velasco himself initiated, was also attended by Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto, Senate Finance Committee chair Senator Sonny Angara, House
