DFA: Hundreds of Pinoy sailors repatriated on Good Friday amid COVID-19 emergency M A NIL A (Mabuhay) — Hu nd r e d s of F i l ipi no seafarers from various cruise ships abroad were safely repatriated on Friday, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). 30 winners of $1.2M in Edison Scholars Program ROSEMEAD, California- Thirty high school seniors in Southern California Edison’s service area have been named 2020 Edison Scholars and will be awarded $1.2 million in scholarships by Edison International to pursue science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) studies. “We are very proud of these students and their outstanding academic achievements,” said Pedro Pizarro, president and CEO of Edison International. “The scholarships provide
financial support to these deserving scholars and their families so they can focus on their studies.
