To start off February's newsletter, we hosted our 67th Annual Banquet last month with an amazing turnout at the Raddison Hotel. We were able to recognize our outgoing and newly incoming board members along with our local BSC scholarship winners, which we had 5 this year and each received $1,800. Thank you to Artisan Homes, BMHBA, Investcore, Knutson Realty, Realty ONE Group-Encore for your generous donations! A huge shoutout to all in attendance, all our local sponsors, and everyone who helped make it a wonderful evening.
Next up, our focus is now the upcoming 49th Annual Home Show at the Bismarck Event Center, March 20th -21st. The Home Show committee has been working hard filling up the booth spots with our local businesses and vendors. There is still time to reserve your booth at bismanhomeshow.com. This is a great opportunity to advertise your business, meet future clients, promote your product and support our Association!

This month is also the IBS (International Builders Show) in Orlando on February 17-19th. If you haven't experienced this show yet, it's definitely one to attend. It's a great event to expand your knowledge on products availability that could benefit your business. Simply visit www.buildershow.com to purchase your pass. The deadline for registering is February 14th
With interest rates at least steady, and our local housing market having low inventory, these should be all positive signs for hopefully a strong 2026 building season. When looking to the near future it is a reminder that our Spring Parade of Homes will be held this year May 14-17th
Joe Vetter BMHBA President

Registration for NAHB's 2026 International Builders’ Show is now open! Sign up early for exclusive deals and book your hotel room. IBS 2026 will take place in Orlando, FL for the final time on February 17-19.
The 2025 show welcomed 81,000+ visitors. If you are a NAHB member and this will be your first IBS, there is a special discount price of $195 for the Expo + Education pass.
NDAB has a block of rooms at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. You can book your room through the registration process. The deadline to reserve rooms within our room block is December 17, 2025. After December 17, if there are any unreserved rooms in the block, they will no longer be accessible. The final day to book a hotel room through NAHB is January 26, 2026.
The BMHBA consists of building specialists from every section of the construction field and associate industries. Your membership strengthens our voice in the Bismarck-Mandan construction sector as well as at a state and national level. If you haven’t already submitted payment, please renew your membership by month end.
